BCE, Bell Canada the plunging phone company

More bad news for BCE.. The past False, misleading advertisements, bad management, Download cappings, have all lead to this. Shares of BCE tumbled $13.10, or 34 per cent, to $25.25, trimming 102 points from the S&P/TSX composite index, after accounting firm KPMG said it couldn’t certify the solvency of the company before the Dec. 11 deadline for the deal to close. A group of private equity investors led by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan agreed to pay $42.50 a share for BCE in the biggest leveraged buyout of all time. But the subsequent stock market crash, four quarters of declining profits, and a ballooning pension fund deficit have pushed the value of the company so low, it might not be able to service the mountain of debt that would replace shareholder equity after the buyout. http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/business/story.html?id=2d87f9bc-b646-4762-947d-514ef7fc32d0   http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20081128.RVOX28/TPStory/Business

BCE says Teachers’ buyout ‘unlikely to proceed’ if solvency opinion not improved Wed Nov 26, 5:48 PM MONTREAL – Bell Canada’s roller coaster ride to privatization may finally crash under the weight of its prospective massive debt after an accounting firm raised serious doubt that the world’s largest leveraged corporate buyout could succeed. I am always amazed how they had wrongfully thought they could continue to abuse their own customers and next get away with it still too.. they had wrongfully failed to use profits to upgrade their old, obsolete phone lines, equipment too.. as a result lost many customers to the cable ISP too. They now really do not deserve any Business bail out by the taxpayers or the government.

Bell has always had it’s spin doctors spin, lying..  “But still “It’s getting hard to figure out the upside on the BCE story   It’s very difficult to say what’s priced into the stock, but make sure you know the risks before you pile into BCE. There may be some hidden ones. And there might be some positive surprises too.  Before the announcement of this deal, the shares traded between $26 and $28. The stock is trading at about $25 now.  The cable companies are doing better…  Then there’s the competitive landscape. It’s ferocious out there, with well-funded cable, VoIP and new wireless entrants moving in with their elbows high.  There are three sources of potentially good news. The first is that BCE upgrades its land line network and makes inroads into television. That’s hard to bank on and, even if you do, it’s tough to figure out the upside. The second is the network-sharing agreement with Telus, which should yield strong returns. And finally, there’s “Belus.” Most of us find it hard to believe that the Competition Bureau would let a merger with Telus happen, or that it would let the merged entity cherry pick its divestitures…   If none of these scenarios moves you, though, you’re probably better investing in the cable companies. As illustrated in this space not long ago, they are walloping the telcos because they generally have better technology. Where broadband goes, in the words of research firm Sandford Bernstein, so voice and video follow. In Canada, Rogers has mobile and Shaw is poised to move in. They’re more expensive, true, but in the long term, they seem to have more promise.”

A recent report by KPMG, acting as valuation firm, found that the amount of debt involved in the privatization of BCE (BCE), the parent of Bell Canada, would essentially render the company insolvent. As a result, the parties have called off the deal.

Dec 11, 2008 BCE’s shares have fallen by almost half since Teachers’ made its C$42.75-a-share bid. BCE dropped 59 cents, or 2.6 percent, to C$22.43 at 12:50 p.m. in Toronto. The stock fell 34 percent on Nov. 26 on concern that KPMG was unlikely to bless the deal because of the C$34 billion in bonds and loans needed to finance the purchase. The company hired PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in an unsuccessful effort to persuade KPMG to change its opinion.  .  BCE lost 72,000 home-phone lines last quarter as customers switched to wireless lines or to cable companies such as Rogers. BCE’s wireless unit, which makes up a quarter of sales, grew at less than half the rate of Rogers’s mobile unit. BCE must also realistically decide whether to invest in the much need fiber-optic lines for its home customers and whether it should provide Internet- based TV service to compete with the cable firms too http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&sid=ayi6TCn22gaQ&refer=canada

BCE takes low road as deal fails For all BCE’s protests, the world’s largest leverage buyout just failed because lawyers for the telecom company inserted a requirement in the deal that stated BCE needed to get a favourable solvency opinion. When KPMG, a reputable accounting firm, weighed in with a final opinion that  BCE didn’t meet solvency standards, the deal died. OnceBCE agreed to a buyout, they muffed the job of closing the deal.

Clearly you cannot trust too often crooked Bell or the CRTC . Why is Bell allowed to control stuff that isn’t theirs?  ” However I do have a problem with wholesalers, customers not being able to use the full speed of a network. After all, they pay for the full speed when getting it from the phone companies. They should get the full speed.  ”  Bell’s known poor acts, actions deserve all kinds of vilification.  What a completely asinine company Bell is. I will never, ever deal with them again. Worst company I’ve ever encountered, what stupid business practices. ” Bell’s actions too often are still motivated by a desire to undermine competition  and increase their customer base seems too often as well to lose more customers.. “Bell and Rogers caused a lot of the problem themselves, with selling so called “unlimited” packages, only to find new applications use more bandwidth than they have available ot had deployed. “
“It is not just about the price too,   Bell can be real jerks to its customers. I used to be one until I got sick of their lack of customer service, etc., and even having 2 provides Bell and Rogers/local cable provider essentially in Ontario will NOT decrease prices. Look at the current cell-phone market as an indirect example of how low competition keeps prices high. ” ” and are they Bell and the others going to put unadvertised cap on how much we could download because basically the can to meet their advertised speeds due to their bolster, too often inadequate support structures, equipment too..” Bottom line is that when it comes to telecommunications and especially high speed internet, no one can be trusted, for  the fact is that ISP   – Cable, Telco etc – on their own will not invest in faster networks and bigger coverage areas because of the costs, and the main Corporate desire not to offer a service but a false desire  to make maximum profits with a minimum of capital investment. Services will evolve but at a slower pace until competitors are forced to invest in their own infrastrucuture.

Basically motivated by greed, increasing the profits. Bait and switch,  Misleading advertising, Unfair and Restrictive business trade practices seem to be a common thing in the Internet Service Providers  industry too, especially since generally the ISP are unregulated both by the Courts and the governments. It is a sad reality that even what is advertised is also next what the customer next consistently gets.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission on Thursday issued a decision ordering Canada’s big phone companies, including Bell, Telus Corp., MTS Allstream Inc., SaskTel and Bell Aliant, to offer the same internet speeds to smaller wholesale customers as they themselves sell on a retail basis.” Service speed is an important competitive attribute, with rates differing significantly by speed and speed often being a major differentiation point from a marketing standpoint,” the CRTC ruled.

Under existing CRTC regulations, the big phone companies are required to rent out their networks to smaller service providers, who then sell internet access to their own customers. The rules boost the number of competitors selling internet access to the public, and thus keep prices down and service levels up. The regulations, however, have only applied to older infrastructure based in phone companies’ centralized office buildings.

Recently, phone companies have been pushing their networks out of those buildings by putting new equipment into streetside cabinets in an effort to boost their customers’ internet speeds. Smaller internet service providers haven’t had regulated access to those cabinets, however, which means they have been limited to selling slower speeds than those offered by the big phone companies.

In Quebec, for example, Bell has been selling internet connections with download speeds around 16 megabits per second while small ISPs have topped out at less than half that. The phone companies will only be required to offer faster speeds to wholesale ISPs when they sell them on a retail basis in a given area. Smaller ISPs will therefore have to request the faster connections from the phone companies. Bell, Telus and the others have 45 days to file with the CRTC the proposed rates they intend to charge the small ISPs for faster services. The rates will have to represent the actual cost of the service, plus “a reasonable mark-up,” the regulator said.

..the CRTC launched a larger inquiry into how much control large network owners such as Bell, Telus, Rogers Communications Inc. and Shaw Communications Inc., should have over the internet connections they sell to customers.” http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2008/12/12/tech-crtc.html

“The CRTC has had a “cosy” relationship with Bell for as long as I can remember. It is obvious it continues. Short of replacing all the Commissioners with officials elected by net users this will never change. Time for a “revolution” IMO.” ” I really wonder who we have in charge of the CRTC. I would prefer a 13 year old nerd that has the slightest clue about the new hype of the Internet, ”

” Net neutrality is one of the most significant “sleeper” issues that will confront the people of Canada over the next decade. Just as we have demanded regulation for our road traffic and public utilities, we will demand fair access to our data services and even to each other.  “

“Indeed, it is important not to lose sight of how much has changed in the past year. In the fall of 2007, net neutrality was viewed as a fringe issue in Canada without much political traction. In the span of 12 months, there has been a major CRTC case, the Angus bill, a rally on Parliament Hill, a more vocal business community supporting net neutrality and a gradual shift of this issue into the political mainstream. ”  http://www.thestar.com/sciencetech/article/542156  http://www.neutrality.ca/

Trouble shooting my Windows computer

Computer problems, ISP support services,  Viruses, spyware and what else..

Computer problems and who eventually does not have them? Caused by viruses, spyware, malware, faulty computer equipment, or corrupted software, even a faulty ISP services. So where do you start? Note and write down what the symptoms are firstly. http://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/11/16/microsoft-fix-it-even-improve-performance-safety-and-security-in-internet-explorer/

Secondly start with the security software.

Lately supposedly  the reason many even Vista personal computers seem to freeze up  is that some people have not updated all of their software, especially their Adobe software,  that Microsoft explorer also uses such as http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ http://get.adobe.com/reader/   http://get.adobe.com/air/

But do note that if you are having a continual problem with your computer, ISP,  web access, spyware, or whatever, and are looking for a quick, simple, easy fix, solution in 5 minutes.. you can generally go back to sleep and dream on.. first turn off the alarm buzzer as well..

So, what is a good virus protection to use?

Again… as we learn … that there is no one program that gives 100% protection against viruses and malwares.  ** Not all computer problems are caused by viruses and malware. But first and foremost, do immediately get some computer protection. This includes anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, a firewall, anti-bot software and overall malware protection. One other way to help prevent spyware and other unwanted software is to make sure all your software is updated often too.

I am a pretty secure guy when it comes to using and maintaining my computer and so here are my  suggestions that I rely on  for a pretty trouble free computer   for my Windows PC  Keep your system up to date – visit http://www.windowsupdate.com to run a scan. It’ll step you through it.

Get Windows defender – head to www.windowsdefender.com  to grab this. It’s free and is from Microsoft. It does a pretty decent job of preventing spyware from entering your machine. Also, I love it for the feature of removing programs that start when your computer starts up . . .

Get an Anti Virus software – Certain anti-virus software could bog down your machine  However, I’m using Avast and it’s doing great, it’s effective. And, best of all, it has a free version. Now,  to find from their website you head to www.download.com  and search for Avast

On top of that since I found not one security software does everything still, periodically I also use the freeware Ad-Aware 2008 and/or  Spybot – Search & Destroy  and they are easily obtained on the same site  www.download.com  and also do See all of the most popular downloads

For anti-spyware I would recommend Ad-Aware 2008 or  Spybot – Search & Destroy. Simple enough. Install and update although I wouldn’t recommend the extra features (teatimer and whatever the other one is) because they can get kind of annoying.

Also do take a look at Free: Comodo Internet Security Suite  Its main program window presents the three major defense components: Antivirus, Firewall, and Defense+. Configuration options are plentiful on all three. The virus scanner supports automatic updates, flexible scheduling, multiple scanning profiles, excluded directories and files, and detailed logging. As you’d expect, the firewall offers a myriad of rule and configuration options. Granting and revoking trust from applications, ports, and networks is a clear, simple process. Novice users will either want to leave the default settings alone or spend some time reading the detailed (and user-friendly) help files, as a couple of wrong clicks can quickly create networking headaches. An active connections screen is also available and it presents information similar to Sysinternals’ TCPview, providing insight as to which applications are transmitting or receiving data. To download CIS, please visit: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/download_cis.html

I do urge you to update your operating systems, security software, updates  regularly, even at least every other day,  and do also perform virus & spyware scans frequently. The question is not if you will get a virus or spyware, but rather when?

As for other security recommendations, download and do use Mozilla Firefox. It is a faster, more secure, and easier to use. I would also recommend installing addons called Ad Block Plus and Fasterfox.  Mozilla Firefox Install note: by default, some software  may or will install a toolbar and/or also change your home page. Pay attention to the install screens, and deselect them if you’re not interested.

Other notes:

– GOM is  most favorite media player, cause it lets me readily access so many options too. GOM Media Player Play back video files in most of the popular video formats.

-Resolving the Windows Update 0×8007043b Error.  Windows Update is a service provided by Microsoft for users of Microsoft Windows which provides updates for the operating system and its installed components is also not error proof,  sometimes things can go wrong and errors occur. This article on the Windows Update 0×8007043b Error should help you fix the problem:  http://www.updatexp.com/0×8007043b.html

– A Windows “Updater” Alternative…  Microsoft sends out the monthly operating system updates and/or the updates for Microsoft Office (if you have it installed); Or if your computer crashes, you do a complete restore and now you have to download all of the updates all over again (very time consuming). Another scenario is that your Windows updates become corrupted and the updater is not working properly or one of the updates from Microsoft is basically dead in the water… Well there is a solution that may assist you in each of the scenarios. It is called “AutoPatcher“…  this is “techie” software and I  Really it is not that hard to do…   Description of AutoPatcher from the website: What is AutoPatcher? AutoPatcher could be described as an offline Windows Update. AutoPatcher provides an interface to a large collection of updates, common applications and registry tweaks, that can be easily and quickly applied to your computer system. What are the advantages of AutoPatcher over Windows Update? The main advantage is that you just have to do one download in order to have all the patches and add-ons, such as Sun Java, MSN Messenger 7.x and Windows Media Player 10. If you have many computers or if you format your computer frequently, it saves both time and bandwidth. With AutoPatcher, you can install critical patches offline,  You can also come in handy when updating a friends PC, if he/she can’t access the Internet (or uses a narrowband connection).  AutoPatcher – http://www.autopatcher.com/

And yes even the macs are very easy to hack. Just look at this list is known exploits http://www.milw0rm.com/platforms/osX

– As for computer cleaning software I would recommend CCleaner.  CCleaner Clean up junk files and invalid Registry entries. Just click “Run cleaner” and “Scan registry for issues” (blue square) and that should clean out most of it. Also, running disk cleanup and disk defragmentor should speed up your computer significantly (Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools).

– Plus avoid emails from people you don’t know.

The  PC World’s and other’s quick fixes for your worst security nightmares that will happen likely if you do nothing about it..

Follow all of these simple tips to reduce your own Computer vulnerability.

Hackers tend to  exploit  known security holes that many users haven’t bothered to patch even by relying on the sad propensity of the millions of computer users who had failed   to do things they’ve been told over and over to do,, or done what they have been told not to do.. And you don’t have to be a Computer Guru  to avoid these  common computer attacks either. Implement a few simple fixes, and for a start you’ll avoid most  of the bad stuff out there.

1: Do get and install adequate computer firewall protection immediately

2: Did you listen to the so called experts, and  Have you wrongfully turned off the automatic updates for Windows and other programs on the rationale that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?” Dream on in reality tfor the still he unpatched  software gives hackers the perfect opportunity to do exploit still your computer by launching  a series of probes against your PC in search of just one unpatched  vulnerability that a probe can exploit. If it finds one, you really better hope your insteleld, adequate antivirus program catches the ensuing attack. Otherwise you likely won’t even notice anything amiss as it infects your system until it is too late, and your computer slows down, acts funny  now instead. Hackers like to find the holes es in seemingly innocuous applications such as QuickTime and WinZip as well as in Windows and Internet Explorer or whatever. So do get and do turn on the  automatic update features for any and all software that offers  the service–it’s your quickest and easiest option for getting patches.

3: Fix all of the potentical security Holes now and Get the free software updater  http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/ at http://www.filehippo.com/

4:  No browser, software  completely eliminates the risk of  being hacked, damages, but do regualry stay update with the updates ..

5:  Check your downloads at  http://www.virustotal.com/  Virustotal is a service that analyzes suspicious files and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines. More information…You can  easily upload any file (up to 10MB) to the site and have it scanned by a whopping 35 different antivirus engines, including ones from Kaspersky,  McAfee, and Symantec. A report tells you what each engine thought about your  file.  the  lack of warnings doesn’t guarantee a file is safe, but it does give you  pretty good odds. Use a good virsu chekcer Virus   to check every e-mail attachment and download you’re not 100 percent sure about, and you’ll likleyt avoid hcaker’s induced catshrophes. Do also download the  free VirusTotal Uploader. Once you’ve installed the utility, just right-click a file, and you’ll see an option (under Send To) to upload it to  the VirusTotal site.

6: Rescue Your main mail Inbox From Spam. Use as well  disposable e-mail addresses. Such an address is something you create every time you encounter an online  shopping site, forum, or other service that requires you to enter an e-mail  address. If that address gets flooded with spam, you can terminate it.
That’s a better system than the alternative, creating a multiple of  free Web mail such as Gmail , Yahoo Web mail  and a good, free service is available from
http://www.spamgourmet.com/ a service that’s quick and easy to set up and use; it allows you to create disposable addresses on-the-fly that will forward e-mail messages to your regular address next.

Fix 7: Develop an Antiphishing Habit  The best approach, and the most straightforward, is never to click a link in  any e-mail message to access your financial accounts. Instead, always type  the URL or use a bookmark. That one habit will protect you from almost every  phishing attack.
Tthe latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Opera  they All have built-in  features to block known phishing sites ( Avoid Safari, which lacks
any built-in antiphishing protection.

8: Make Your Passwords Secure–And Easy to Remember Use at least both letters and numbers for a start

9: Do not hesitate to Get Extra Cleaning Help for Stubborn Infections.

Sometimes even the best antivirus program misses an infection. And once a  virus or Trojan horse gets in, removing it can be incredibly tough. If you  suspect some nasty got past your defenses, then it’s time to bring in extra  help. Many antivirus makers offer free and easy online scans through your Web  browser.
Trend Micro HouseCall: Will detect and remove malware; works with both IE
and Firefox.
BitDefender Online Scanner: Detects and removes malware; requires IE.
Kaspersky Online Scanner: Detects malware, but doesn’t remove it; works with
IE and Firefox.
F-Secure Online Virus Scanner: Detects and removes malware; requires IE.
ESET Online Scanner: Detects and removes malware; requires IE.

Open the computer and run it open after cleaning out all dust bunnies. Be careful when you clean; use compressed air and be gentle. Observe all fans (overheating will cause system freezing and/or crashing). This includes the fan on your video card if you have one. Obviously you can’t do this with a laptop, but you can hear if the fan is running and feel if the laptop is getting too hot. For a desktop, without touching anything, hold your hand close to the inside of the case and feel how hot things are getting.

Test the RAM – I like Memtest 86+ from http://www.memtest.org . Obviously, you have to get the program from a working machine. You will either download the precompiled Windows binary to make a bootable floppy or the .iso to make a bootable CD. If you want to use the latter, you’ll need to have third-party burning software on the machine where you download the file and burn as an image, not as data. In either case, boot with the media you made. The test will run immediately. Let the test run for an hour or two unless errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the RAM. It is extremely important that you get RAM that is compatible with your motherboard (and the RAM already in the machine). Crucial Technology has a Memory Selection Tool on their website.

Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility from the drive manufacturer. If you aren’t sure what drive you have or can’t find a utility for it, Seagate’s SeaTools for DOScan test non-Seagate drives. Download the file and make a bootable floppy or CD with it. You need third-party burning software and to burn as an image, not as data. Boot with the media you created and do a thorough test. If the drive has physical errors, replace it. http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools

The power supply may be going bad or be inadequate for the devices you have in the system. The adequacy issue doesn’t really apply to a laptop, although of course the power supply can be faulty. For a desktop, test by swapping out the PSU for a known-working one. If you have one of the higher-end video cards that requires a separate power supply connector, make sure it is in place.

Test the motherboard with something like TuffTest from http://www.tufftest.com  or the Ultimate Boot CD. Sometimes this is useful, and sometimes it isn’t.

Testing hardware failures usually involved swapping out suspected parts with known-good parts. If you can’t do the testing yourself and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a reliable professional computer repair shop. Check with others as to who is reliable and who is not first too.  . Have all your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop. “

Here is an unbeleiveable  tip that now I have have used twice.. I had computer problems that were periodic.. the the computers would not boot up next.. I replaced hard drives, cables and what ever.. Finally I next  sprayed the mother board with a wd-40 lubricant spray very llightly.. and it solved the problem.. I guess there was a contact problem some where.

Diagnosing your internet connectivity issues

Testing your ISP- Understanding Your Internet Connection

PING TEST- CONTINUAL PING TEST-TRACE ROUTE TEST If you question the speed or reliability of your ISP, your  Internet connection please run the following Internet connectivity tests. These two tests are a great way to see how you are connecting to the servers.

Now what about also still testing the reliability of your ISP, your Internet service provider.. with a speed tests  http://www.acanac.ca/speedtest/  which still alone are not an adequate solution  here too. So what is? Old fashion Hard work, reading, evaluating, talking to others is often required still too. And often much more..

*You may need to run a software program as an administrator   To run a security software or any , other program as an administrator, go to the software short cut, Right click on  it,  got to the properties,  Go  to the Advanced box, click on it,  And select Run as Administrator,  save the settings

Resolving Cable, Broadband Internet Connection Problems in Windows Vista  “If the computer is still having issues connecting to the Internet and the network test passes or repairs the connection, it is possible that the service is down, the Internet connection software that was provided by the ISP is not configured correctly. Call the support phone number for the ISP for help with configuring the settings in Windows and the ISP software. Be sure to provide the ISP with the information from the network diagnostics utility.”   http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00829717&dlc=en

Internet Explorer 7 Freezes Or Crashes Frequently In Windows Vista.

If you find that your IE 7 Freezing or Crashing frequently in Windows Vista, here are some trouble-shooting steps you may try:

A – Run your anti-virus and an anti-spyware like Spybot, to check for malware infections.

B- Clear Cache. Or else run your Junk Cleaner or CCleaner.
In IE 7, click Tools > Internet options > Security > Reset all zones to Default level

C- If still you find your IE7 giving problems, close it and run IE (No Add-ons)
This opens up the browser without loading any add-ons, toolbars or plug-ins.

If you find it running OK, then the problem is most probably caused by an add on.
In such a case then you have two options :
1) use the manage Add-ons tool, and disable each one after the other to find out which one is causing the problem.
2) Else in Internet Options, go to Advanced Tab and click on Reset tab. Restart IE. This step deletes all temp files, disables any add-ons, plug-ins, toolbars and also resets all changed settings to default. Although this is a quick-fix, you will have to re-install the add-ons. The settings which are affected by this are mentioned here.

About My own  ISP problems

– I tend to be a  heavy, systematic, daily  user, and I have many different blog sites, about 16 at least..  wordpress.com, windows live, multiply.com , windows group, etc.,

Recently I had problems with my internet connection for a whole week, and I get different advice from the so called experts to last a life time too.. Trouble shooting problems with computers can be a complex undertaking caused by a very small unresolved problem even.

-I tend to deal often with the same sites regularly, daily, I do try to access and post on my many of blogs daily, or weekly.. posting or accessing  many of my own blogs has become difficult,

-the connectivity problem is generally a more consistent one. meaning it last for days, weeks  and not a periodic one meaning where it fluctuates from day to day, or site to site

– The problem is not my Internet  download, internet speed, I am happy with the download speeds presently

I also do know that different people will speak on the subject from the degree of their level of expertise, ignorance and actual knowledge.

-Some people said it was  my firewall, or my anti virus security causing the problem.. but when I had removed both I still had the problem.

-Some people said it sounded like a virus.. well I checked my computer with 5 separate anytime virus, antispyware software.. no problem, clean bill of health

-Some people say it sounds like a computer, operating system problem. I used 3 different computers with different software, each with different operating systems and got the same problem. It is not the cache, hard disk, Vista, XP problem for sure. I have a new HP high speed computer and it had the same problem that my Dell windows 98, etc., did, and also my high speed Clone XP did too

-Some people said it was related to windows upgrade, but there has not being any direct proof of  that.– Hey yesterday I could not even access http://www.acanac.com/support/

Like I have said before.. I learned long time ago just cause some one has a degree, a title, does not mean I have to believe his word, or believe that if he has a degree he has any  professional competency  now too. That includes all kind of professionals now too. My dad pays hundreds of dollars for a new set of glasses, and had to wait a month to get them, wore them for a month, and he still could not see.. when I went to see the optometrist he next had said he had done his best. Crap I said, my father did not pay him to do his best but only paid him to do professional job and I next demanded my father’s full money back and we next got it. We went immediately to another competitive optometrist next door and I got a new pair of glasses at half the price in one hour and they worked well, and my dad was happy.. so much for the so called professional.

How come my  access to my internet site is not continually reliable? The internet, computer and the tech support services, are like one big jig saw puzzle, leave out some pieces and the puzzle is not pretty any more. Dealing with others can be a bore..  I cannot believe it I have had 10 bell technicians come to fix my internet problems, and none of them seem to know how to use a computer, One Bell tech  had even asked me to give him some instructions on how to use his windows 98 laptop. One persons tells me to put it on, the other one next says take it off.. includes the local network connection  configuration setup internet version protocol version 4 Preferred and alternate DNS . As long as we deal with any others things will never be perfect.

Me being Unable to connect to the internet from my home..   A Bell technician finally after 2 years  showed up today at my home at 1:30 PM at Acanac’s suggestion and he reduced my internet, modem speed from 10 megs to 5 megs.. because he thinks the Acanac modem is the problem, it does not want to accept the 10 meg causing the recent past internet connectivity problem.. Somehow I doubted it .. there also had to be other factors elsewhere? Everything works great so far, web page connectivity and Utorrent download, so how can I complain, and let’s hope it lasts that way.. But I also suspect the peak line demands, capping, and line balance is part of the problem. The problem   came  back.  I am still having problems  to access my internet sites even http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/   and also to access my email, The next  morning at 10 am I saw 2 Bell trucks, and two employees  working at the closet   Bell telephone junction box about 10 yards from my home near my home, and I bluntly went and asked them if they were responsible for making my internet ineffective, but it appears they next  did not solve my internet problems. Now do tell the Bell to fix the problem. I have often rightfully said it  that  what Bell fixes on one hand the other hand makes it worse next. Reality.

Many times logging off your Internet service provider and then back on will resolve the problem. If you continually have a problem, you may want to have your line tested for noise or dropped packets by your ISP or you may want to get a different Internet service provider. http://www.mastertrader.com/education/intconn.asp

Here is what I know for sure from my last two years of experiences in dealing with Bell..

-If I make enough noise, somehow next the bell tech fixes the problem for one week at least.. and next it comes back it seems.. someone has asked me if this was deliberate by Bell the return by Bell, and my reply was not they are generally pretentious incompetence.

-That includes Bell techs who visited my home, Bell support managers I talked to on the phone about 5 different ones, and the many Bell support personal I had talked to only line, by phone, and I had generally followed by email, the results of this action, and copies of them can be found on the web on many sites too. Almost all of  Bell tech who came to me did not know how to sue a computer or the software on it, seemed to have very little real computer expertise.. none of them were electrical engineers forma  University

-They all tried to say the same basic useless things to me, connection between the computer and the phone jack, line fitter, line connection, modem inadequate, possible other connections to the phone line. I have one phone, one computer, connected to one phone jack. a simple installation. The home connection is not the issue.  also they Bell have also  replaced 9 modems in one year so for sure it is not the modem as well.

Being a past  professional engineer, contracts manager too,  I have been ready to look into all the possible problem aspects in detail for the last 12  months too.. including management of Bell and it’s support personnel. It is very Inadequate for sure.

Funny how all my Bell ISP problems  eventually got fixed on their own after I made enough noise about it…

Help yourself by now helping others too, pass this and other security tips to them as well.,

** Quite often even if the ISP, Internet Service Provider lies to you and says the internet problems are solely on your computer it can be in fact be rather with the ISP itself, their  cable or phone lines still too. As too often is the case with Bell. But anyway next do also test your own computer also

Finally you alone have to take all the responsibility for dealing  with the problems and solutions on your computer.

– Don’t just download stuff you really don’t know anything about.

– Avoid always going to risky sites (you can probably guess).

-Make sure you use secure passwords. These should be 8+ characters, consisting of numbers, letters and alphanumeric characters. It should also be something more complicated than a name or nickname. And for a  few examples would be SkAl2134!$ or S0mT1Ng$%#.

Free speech on the net applies to us all still

IT IS NOW MORE  RARE BUT I DO ALSO NOW STILL GET BULLIED BY RELIGIOUS BULLIES, ABUSERS TOO..  not just by the past bad cops

The WRONGFULLY STILL Unrepentant  bully’s problem is that he or she is one of those bad persons  who only feels truly alive when voicing hostility and contempt for his “enemies.” Without that, he or she starts gasping for air. It’s his nature.. self-destructive” ..  clearly these immoral  Bully, Basher of others, Abusers of others has a disappointed, deflated ego, negative self worth,  most likely related to past unresolved guilt, as a result  of  that   the bully, he or she, tries falsely to   build  their ego up by bashing, hating others, by being an antagonists against  his proclaimed enemies, which too often also  is most people , for  he or she no longer trust anyone, and Abusers this is a common very typical approach, fact in the character build up of Bullies, Bashers, but their approach is futile, the subsequent feeling of self worth dissipates too quickly, are actually replaced by guilt,  and his ego, self worth likely needs to be recharged with new hate.. and is replaced with more and larger hatred of the others.  I have seen this type of wrong behavior not just in bad managers, bad politicians, bad persons, but  in alcoholics, and most often in Albertan rednecks ,but also  in religious   fundamentals evangelicals who promote hated towards Pentecostal Christians as well, and  now as well as the crooked pastor wrongfully  fighting for control over others. Public exposure and prosecution of these bad persons here too services everyone’s best interest.

Hey I too have noticed that bullies falsely object to me defying them, and defending Todd Bentley, Pentecostals, now as well I am sorry now for them too.. WE ALL DO HAVE THE SAME RIGHT TO WRITE AND TO BE HEARD NOW AS WELL on the net too..

(1 Cor 14:29 KJV) Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

(1 Cor 14:30 KJV) If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

(1 Cor 14:31 KJV) For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

I now also have rightfully warned these liars, abusers, slanderers, Pentecostal haters on the net that they can be prosecuted for Libel, Hate, by the Queen’s courts and the Human Rights commission in Canada, and next their site material can be deleted in full as it has been already done to others.

Friendly, Friends, Soulmate, Friendship, Companion

A good definition of a good friend is a person  who is has a mutual reciprocal relationship with you where you can ask them to do something for you and they will do it  and not say selfishly why? what is it in it for me?  as opposed to a one sided,  selfish, control freak, give me, give me, give it to me relationship.

(Ruth 2:13 KJV)  Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

(Prov 18:24 KJV)  A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

(Phil 2:25 KJV)  Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

(Mat 12:50 KJV)  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

(Psa 119:63 KJV)  I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

(Prov 13:20 KJV)  He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

(Prov 28:7 KJV)  Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.

(Prov 28:24 KJV)  Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.

(Mal 2:14 KJV)  Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

(Rev 1:9 KJV)  I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Mat 25:33 KJV)  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.   34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42  For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

We all do have a natural desire to be loved, accepted by others, to have good friends. and this same desire can become  misused .. false persons can misuse  it, and/or we can go overboard in our desire to please others too..

Now everyone should be part of a valid social network, community, have good friends, but they must also be able to live alone, to stand up for their own rights, values, respect too.

All persons are also still known by the company they do keep now also.

(Prov 22:1 KJV)  A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

(Eccl 7:1 KJV)  A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

(1 Sam 2:26 KJV)  And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.

(Est 2:17 KJV)  And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

(Psa 5:12 KJV)  For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

(Psa 30:5 KJV)  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

(Psa 35:27 KJV)  Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

(Psa 44:3 KJV)  For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

(Psa 89:17 KJV)  For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

(Psa 106:4 KJV)  Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

(Prov 3:4 KJV)  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

(Prov 12:2 KJV)  A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

(Prov 13:15 KJV)  Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

(Prov 14:9 KJV)  Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

(Prov 14:35 KJV)  The king’s favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.

(Prov 21:10 KJV)  The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.

(Prov 29:26 KJV)  Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD.

(Prov 31:30 KJV)  Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

(Eccl 9:11 KJV)  I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

(Isa 26:10 KJV)  Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

(Isa 60:10 KJV)  And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

(Luke 1:30 KJV)  And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

(Luke 2:52 KJV)  And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

(Acts 2:47 KJV)  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

What do you do when your family is Torn Apart.

But what do you do when your family has turned their backs on you? Have you asked yourself what did you do to cause this? Do you wish that you could erase all the bad things that has happen? Can a family that has been torn apart be reconciled again?    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/Virtuous1/blog/2008/07/13/What-do-you-do-when-your-family-is-Torn-Apart

The night watch even in time of Sorrow

(Psa 30:5 KJV)  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

(Rev 7:17 KJV)  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

(Rev 21:4 KJV)  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(Est 9:22 KJV)  As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.

(Isa 35:10 KJV)  And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

(Isa 51:11 KJV)  Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto (THE HEAVENLY Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

(Psa 137:6 KJV)  If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

(Isa 65:14 KJV)  Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

(Jer 31:13 KJV)  Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

(John 16:20 KJV)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

(John 16:22 KJV)  And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

(Psa 5:11 KJV)  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

(Psa 16:11 KJV)  Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

(Psa 21:1 KJV)   The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

(Psa 51:8 KJV)  Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

(Psa 51:12 KJV)  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

(Psa 65:13 KJV)  The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

(Psa 67:4 KJV)  O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

(Psa 105:43 KJV)  And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

(Psa 126:5 KJV)  They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

(Psa 132:9 KJV)  Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

(Psa 132:16 KJV)  I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

“Meditating on the Lord  by Walter Beuttler – (One evening some years ago when I first began teaching at Green Lane) I was fast asleep in my bed – when somebody spoke aloud, and said, Brother Beuttler.  I knew it was the Lord that had awakened me, but I did not know what to do. Well now, let’s see here what King David had to say about this?  Psalm 63:6-7 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches, because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. In the night watches: When I remember thee upon my bed. Contemplating the Lord. Meditating on Him. Look now at what he says: Because thou hast been my help.  Reviewing for an instant, what God has done for us.  Reviewing His great works on our behalf.  David meditated on the Lord in the night watches.

The activity here that David speaks of is meditation. You know as well as I do that we’re living in a very — in the age of electronics. People these days are losing the art of meditation.  And this is a universal thing, especially in the western world. Somehow people don’t seem to like to think anymore. That’s true. People (Especially church people) want to have their thoughts thought by others. (Note here that Beuttler spoke these words before first mention of Discipleship, Shepherdship, or a believer or a fellowship ever needing spiritual coverings was made. The here irony of this is Bob Mumford was one of Walter H. Beuttler’s most promising students.) People like others to do their thinking for them. You find that throughout the world, especially in the west. People today are losing the art of meditation, and contemplation.

We have a television in our house. Now you are lucky in one respect. Unless I’m mistaken, you get television only from one channel here. Is that correct? Well, in the States in our metropolitan centers, you have a dozen or more stations from which you can select anything. You can get almost any kind of program you want. If you don’t like one, you turn to the other. If you don’t like that, you turn again. Like New York City, you get a basket full of stations. The result is that people, instead of thinking and meditating, and reading the Word, and contemplating God; they have turned to television.  (We see here that by Brother Beuttler having a TV in his house, and his reference to Pentecostal believers in the States, as well as the members church he is visiting in Australia of all having televisions, — that the argument over television in Christian households had already been long lost among Pentecostals. But as we all well know this battle to captivate [to place in captivity] believer’s minds only began there with each successive layer of electronic gadgetry becoming more seductive than the last, VCR’s, Cable Television, Video Gaming, The Internet, and now online gaming. The pull in people’s lives of these virtual trees of knowledge of good and evil is exponential above and beyond what TV was in its heyday.
In many churches our Sunday night services are all but abandoned. Why? People are at home watching television (Or any of the more updated things we are captivated by today) You take a trans-Pacific flight: I go on a 10-11 hour non-stop flight. All right, you have your meals and after awhile it’s movie time. Pull down the shades, and now comes the movies. And people sit there hour after hour watching all of that junk. They want to be entertained. (But there was and still is a lot more going on here than just being entertained – things are entering the eye-gate and the ear-gate and making imprints in our minds, in our souls, and dare I suggest in our spirits.  What was once outrageous, or in poor taste, or altogether unclean by listening to the “ungodly’s” multitude of council day in and day out and week in and week out becomes common placed, and just the regular talk. The power of the media regardless of its form  — should not be underestimated. In the book “The Media” experts from the industry boast on how they have turned American society inside out, and have shaped political opinion for decades – and have the graphs and charts to prove it.)  What a God-given opportunity to read and think, to review your life, to contemplate things. That’s where I use my time for meditation, for waiting on the Lord, for reading the Word or even magazine, for sitting there and doing some thinking. (The) people (in the church) don’t want to think (either). They want to be entertained (too). So you are lucky. You have only one station. In the States, you can turn to a dozen stations. Here if you don’t like one program, you have to turn the thing off. The best part of a television set is the switch to turn it off, especially in light of the junk you get on it,- at least we do at our home.

Now then:

He didn’t get up at 1:00 o’clock in the morning and say, “Well now, I’m awake. What shall I do? I’ll think I’ll go to the television set and watch the late show.” I don’t know what you have, but we have ‘The Evening Show;” we have “The Late Show; we have “The Late, Late Show;” we have “The Late, Late, Late Show. And now halfway through the morning, programs are still going on. Well, David did some meditating. Notice what God says is Psalm 1:1-3:

Psalm1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Do you notice in passing, how people (These days are) deteriorating in their relationship with God? (The truth is most churches and believers have been asleep for the last three decades and few and noticed anything even slightly amiss.) First, you have walking, then you have standing, then you have sitting. First we walk with the sinners. Then we stand with them, and finally we sit with them. And then we are one of them. (Beuttler knew, Beuttler foresaw this day, and what has replaced the life and spirituality that those of his generation sought God for, and found of Him.)

And in his law doth he meditate day and night. What better thing to do at night than to contemplate the Lord and to meditate in His Word? David used the night season to meditate on the Lord and His Word. Psalm 119:55 gives us another activity related to this: I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.  (Meditatation, contemplation, remembering and delighting, none of these words imply accidentally running into God. All of these words are deliberative acts, deliberate in that they have to been knowingly done, and knowingly in the place of something else. Another point is most of these words are deliberating calling to memory things that most believers never give a second thought to. – In other words here we see someone treating as precious, that which others taken in by the cares of the world normally treat as common and trod under foot.) David remembered His name during the night.

Now to think upon the name of the Lord is to think upon what God is. His name is what He is. His name is His character. In other words, if we could invent (which is impossible) one word, which in one word would embody the sum total of all that God is. If all that God is could be put into one word, that would be His name. In the Bible, the Lord has many names. The reason the Lord has many names in the Bible is that the Lord is so much that there is not any one name that could possibly be a descriptive name of what He is. When we call upon His name, we call upon the characteristics and attributes of God.

I’d like to now turn to Isaiah 50:10:

Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, (and) that (ends up) walking in darkness, and hath no light?  Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

Look here: There is such a thing in our Christian experience as going through a period of darkness when misfortune has befallen us, sorrow has touched us, trouble has come our way, and we are unable to account for or find our way through it. I have heard it preached, Folks, if you are obeying the Lord, and walking daily with God, you’ll never be in the dark.”

There are those in evangelistic faith healing circles who teach Job was not upright, that he was not perfect in his ways before God  And that all that befell Job occurred because Job sinned and let his hedge down  when he feared.

Folkses You know, that just is not so.

Job was a choice saint of God, and God said so. He was a man that feared God, stayed away from evil, was an outstanding and righteous man, and he was in thick darkness for over a year with the things that had befallen him.

But look here, look at who these scriptures address, Who is among you — You! that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light?” Here you have a situation in Job, of a believer in God, who fears God, and obeys God, and yet has trouble. In fact, it is true. (And these things happen more than you think.)  (Pardon me here as I do not have time to develop this thought.), that there are people who are going through severe trouble, not because they failed God, but because they had walked with God. And Job is an example of this.

The devil gets other (Believers) eyes on Job (And then gets other believers to stand in his place accusing Job night and day.) . Now what is such a person to do? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, in what God is. And when we go, as it were, through deep waters (Of deep trouble, deep darkness, not because we have failed God, but because we have walked uprightly with the Lord)

and when the Lord visits us in the night, and awakes us in the night in one way or another, what are we going to do?  Let him contemplate the name of the Lord. – (Let him meditate) what He is: He’s good, He’s faithful, He’s righteous, He is a thousand and one things. The night season is a good time for thinking upon His name.

Psalm 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: (He who pulls) my reins also instruct(s) me in the night seasons.

In Psalm 16:7, we see the night seasons are also for instruction. And we also see we (can) learn things in the night (Through our meditation, contemplation, remembering and delighting in the Lord) that we (can not and) do not learn, or are not likely to learn, at any other time. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel; (He who pulls) my reins also instruct(s) me in the night seasons.

Now this word reins is a difficult word in the Hebrew. It really means my kidneys, but in those earlier years, the kidneys were regarded as the seat of our personality. We know better now. What David is saying is that during the night, God gives me instruction, and I learn things from my own contemplation, from God speaking from within my own spirit. My own spirit will teach me during the night. In my walk I have received from the Lord many instructions during the night. So did Jesus.

Remember last Sunday? “The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned. He wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear as things that are taught.” The Lord instructs us during the night. We learn from our own spirit. We see things more clearly often during the night when we can concentrate on one thing or another.

I’m moving rapidly trying to cover as much as I can. I’ll see what I can do.

Psalm 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

His song shall be with me. Now we’ll turn to Job for a minute.

Job 35:10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night?

Folkses, there are times when during the night God gives us a song. Have you ever experienced this? Who giveth songs in the night.” I had one the other night. I can’t go into detail, I suppose, but I got a song from the Lord during the night that changed my attitude toward the person. I told Wife in the morning, “I have to take a different attitude toward that person. The Lord gave me a song.” It was a strange song for the occasion and I wondered what to make of it. Then I made the connection.

I had an attitude toward a person, though not totally wrong, was nevertheless, it was tarnished by a wrong attitude. Which I would say, was at least contrary to Him. That song taught me to modify my attitude, and consequently, my actions.

During the night He gives us songs of worship, songs of David. I was up with the Lord one night while we were here, and I was sitting there and happened to think about my itinerary. I had a question. Should I, or should I not stop in a certain place. At once, a song rose up, Publish glad tidings, tidings of peace, and I knew right away I was to stop there. The Lord will guide you many times with a song. (If you are not asleep with everyone else.) He gives songs in the night.

I was up another time when I was last here, up for a little while with the Lord. And I had questions in my mind about my having visiting a certain place. It was another one. In regards to that place, I wanted to know whether I had made a mistake? That’s more accurate. And as I wondered, a song came up, It is well with my soul.  Do you sing that here?  It is well with my soul.

Then I knew everything was all right, and was able to leave it alone. He giveth songs in the night. If you only knew that, (Deep within) you, you would then  discover many times the song that comes to you is not simply there as a song, but it is a song to give us instructions.

One night I was awakened out of a deep sleep in the States, and I am a poor sleeper, but I was in a deep sleep that time. I was awakened by a song that sang so — shall I say, loud.  I heard it sing in my spirit, and there it was. The song woke me and the song was: Up from the grave He arose. I knew what it meant: It’s meant it was time to get up. That’s the school of the Spirit. Who giveth songs in the night. You must watch for that thing. (Or they will pass you by.)  Many times I get these songs – by day too. I get one very often. Oh can I think of it? I’m trying to hurry, and I’m not made for hurry.

I can’t think of it. It will probably come to me. It’s a chorus the Lord often uses with me to alert me that’s He’s going to call on me with something later on. Very often, it’s prayer or intercession. The Lord uses songs by day. He gives songs by night. If it comes to me, I’ll weave it in.

Turn to Ephesians 5:18-19 because the songs are not always a special message or for guidance. Here is another purpose:

Ephesians 5:18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in Psalm and hymns and spiritual songs (Songs of the Spirit), singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Here we see that the Lord, by His Spirit, puts into our hearts a melody by day or by night. And when you get (This song of the Spirit) it by day or night: Well, what will you do with this melody? That is if it does not seem to be for guidance or anything. What do you do with it? Oh, (I’m trying to make up a word) You melody it unto the Lord. It doesn’t have to be loud, just let this thing (Beuttler holds his hand over his chest) sing aloud, and let it sing unto the Lord like,  (Beuttler sings:) How Great Thou Art, or whatever it is that wells up within you. Don’t just let this thing go around and around, and around and around, and around and around, until it all dissipates into nothing.  Take it and make melody in your heart to the Lord.

You don’t have to wake the family up in the middle of th night and shout all over the place. It doesn’t say make melody with your voice, but it says Make melody in your heart to the Lord

So the Lord gives those songs. And Job knew it. Who giveth songs in the night.

Isaiah 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early.

(And all we have to do is begin to meditate, contemplate, remember and delight in the Lord — and then really see what He will do.)

Well we all do know that we also do experiences unexpected, unpredictable,  hail storms, with violent thunder too in our own life’s, where we are beset by negative events, negative circumstances and things are not going the way we had expected them too. And we are not sure if God still has things under his control and how we should react to these storms of life. Two persons will face the same events, and yet their attitudes, experiences may be totally different.. One person next  Rejoices over the events, and the other one is biiter over them. Why? (Heb 4:2 KJV)  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (Eccl 8:6 KJV)  Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.  (Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.12  Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:13   But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

(Eccl 7:8 KJV)  Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

(Eccl 7:9 KJV)  Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

(Job 33:4 KJV)  The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Then as we trust God and also praise God we next will come through unscathed, victorious, and even learn the lesson that God has designed for us through the storm..

(Eccl 5:15 KJV)  As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.

(Eccl 12:13 KJV)  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

And we always need to remember that  (Eccl 2:26 KJV)  For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is ( for their) vanity and vexation of spirit.

(Eccl 3:1 KJV)  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4  A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5  A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6  A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7  A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8  A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

(Eccl 9:12 KJV)  For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

(Eccl 7:14 KJV)  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

(Eccl 7:18 KJV)  It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all

In psalm 29 David describes a thunderstorm sweeping over the Palestinian countryside in a fury of lightning and thunder, accompanied by heavy rains and resultant flood and destruction.  Read it through and you will see that the Psalm as a whole is a graphic setting in which God seeks to instruct His children when they find themselves in circumstances comparable to such a storm-for example, the flames of the fire of testing, the rumbling thunder of fearful events and floods of unexpected reverses and innocent sufferings.

Psalm 29:1  A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2  Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4  The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5  The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6  He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7  The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8  The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9  The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10  The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11  The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Notice the Psalmist’s eloquent language:
The voice” of the Lord is upon the waters…. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars      The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness….The voice of the Lord . . . discovereth the forests Psalm 29: 3-9.

In these turbulent circumstances of life it is of paramount importance that we be properly oriented. A Christian who is not sure of his position in the storm in relation to God is open to additional though unnecessary difficulties. He becomes an easy prey to the wiles of the enemy and a possible victim of the counsel of ignorant advisers.  In order to preclude any such eventuality one must turn to the repeated use of the phrase, “the voice of the Lord,” which occurs seven times. This might appear to be mere meaningless repetition in the eyes of the casual reader, yet this very repetition constitutes the heart of this remarkable Psalm and provides the key to the whole problem namely, that the storm is “the voice of the Lord”. God. wants us to know that He speaks in the storm., by means of the storm.

Now it might be rightly asked, “What does God say in the storm?” In answer to this question another repetition must be observed. The name “Lord” is used eighteen times. The meaning of the name “Lord” as used in this Psalm is said to be, “He (who) is.” This is very suggestive and so appropriate because the enemy of our souls will seek to defeat us in the storm by casting an aspersion on God as regards His promises.

The, enemy, will endeavor to_ make us believe that God is the God who isn’t. But this Psalm declares God is “He who is.” “He who is divideth the flames of fire” (lit., “sendeth forth the lightnings”). “The voice of the He who is breaketh the cedars.” “The voice of the He who is is upon the waters,” etc. This repetition of “Lord” leads us to the primary cause of the storm – God, who seeks to reveal Himself as “the He (who) is.”

It must further be noted that there is a reference to God, not merely in every verse, but in every statement. Altogether there are twenty-two direct and two indirect references to God. The entire Psalm is saturated with God, so to speak. What is the meaning of this? That God is in the storm; that He is He who is when it seems He isn’t. That He is in the lightning, in the thunder, in the water, in all. The Psalm, we repeat, is saturated with God; so is the experience. The believer in the storm, must see and believe that He who is sent it; that He who is is in it; and that He who is speaks by it.

Not only does God send the storm; He comes with it. “The Lord sitteth upon the flood” (v. 10). This verse begins to throw some light on the purpose of the storm. Since God is pictured as sitting upon the flood, He evidently uses the flood as a means of conveyance, so that the flood of the storm which comes into the believer’s life brings God with it. This remains true, whether God’s purpose is to bring us more into the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ, as mentioned in Philippians 3:10, or God seeks to teach us lessons in order to give us a ministry of help and comfort to those in distress, as stated in 2 Corinthians 1:4, 5. This remains true, whether God needs to demonstrate to Satan that we serve Him because of what He means to us (and not merely because of what He does for us ) as illustrated in Job 1:1 to 2:10, or whether His purpose is to Enlarge our capacity and desire for Him.

The storm will often effect this by tearing us loose from encumbrances that retard our progress, and from preoccupation with things that compete with God for our attention and affection. Thus the storm becomes a means whereby we are conditioned for a closer walk with God, as well as a medium of conveyance, bringing God with it. “The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet” Nahum 1:3. After the sky has cleared and the flood has subsided, the trusting believer _will be conscious of a fresh deposit of the reality of the presence of God in his heart, for “the Lord sitteth upon the flood.”

“The Lord sitteth King forever” (v. 10). Hallelujah! Not only does He who is come with it and sit upon it; He sits upon it as King, as Ruler, as Sovereign. In other words, He controls the flood. The same Lord who uses the storm as a vehicle, who thus conveys Himself into the believer’s heart by a means and in a manner which probably could not be as well accomplished in any other way, exercises such a providential control that the flood, while it is great enough to accomplish His purpose, is not so great that the believer would be engulfed beyond his ability to stand it. “God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able,” the apostle assures us. He who is is completely Sovereign of the flood. He sits upon it, so He comes with it. He sits King, so He holds it in control. He sits King “forever,” so He is always in control. This is the believer’s assurance in the storm.

“The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless His people with peace” (v. 10). Strength and peace is the believer’s provision for the storm. God who sends the storm also grants the strength to endure it. He “will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13. This way of escape is not so much a deliverance from the storm as it is a deliverance in the storm.  The grace and strength of God enables us to bear the storm while the purpose of God is being accomplished.

This strength will be imparted as we wait upon Him, not as we wait for the sympathy of the people. “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength” Isaiah 40:31. Waiting upon God is as indispensable (and as delightful) a Christian exercise as it ever was. There is no substitute. Israel complained in Isaiah 40:27 in the same manner in which a Christian might be tempted to complain in the storm: “My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God.” In other words, they complained that God does not see, God does not care; and as another version has it, “the justice due me is passed away.” This questions the justice of God. There is great danger in such an attitude. The context uses the words “faint,” “weary,” and “fall.”

As far as the passage in Isaiah goes, this fainting, wearying and threatened falling is due to lack of confidence in the attributes of God Isaiah 40:28; failure to realize that God provides the ability to walk with Him Isaiah 40:29. We are doomed to failure, even at the height of our own resources Isaiah 40:30, unless we wait upon God for enabling by His strength. “The Lord will give strength unto his people.”

“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. . . .” It has been said that in an approaching storm all the birds will scurry for cover in fright, except the eagle. He will face the storm, with wings spread, and will allow the howling, contrary wind to carry him to great heights. This is the Christian’s privilege in the storm. Such an achievement takes the strength which only God can give; it requires spending time in waiting before Him.“The Lord will bless his people with peace” (v.11). This is the promise of a tranquil mind and heart in the middle of the storm. Peace not just after the storm, but during the storm. The kind of peace that Christ had when “he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow,” during a storm that filled the ship with water and threatened their lives (see Mark 4:38; Luke 8:23). Let it be noted that these disciples were in the will of God, despite wind, waves, and danger; for they had obeyed His command, “Let us go over unto the other side of the lake.” Our very obedience to God may lead us into a storm which   we would not otherwise experience, but it also leads to a compensating revelation of His power which we would not otherwise experience either.
The peace of God is not something negative, not a mere absence of disturbance. It is something positive -the conscious presence of a supernatural calm produced in our hearts by the Spirit. This peace is “not as the world giveth”; it is not dependent on favorable circumstances. In fact, it is independent of both favorable and unfavorable circumstances alike. In short, it is truly His peace, the peace of God.

This peace acts as an insulator, as a defense against, the disturbance of the storm. The strength of the Lord enables us to bear the pressure of the storm, but the peace of God which passes all understanding (and all misunderstanding too) keeps the disturbing elements of the outer storm from penetrating our being.

This twin provision of strength and peace logically leads to the consideration of our activity in the storm.
“Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness” (vv. 1, 2). This then should be our activity in the storm- to give unto the Lord worship, to give Him glory. The angels are doing it. “. . . And in his temple doth every one speak of His glory” (v. 9). In any  storm God calls for worship; we owe it to Him.

“Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty,” Who are the mighty in the storm? Those who know that it is the”stormy wind fulfilling His word” (Psalm 148:8); those who see God in the storm and wait upon Him for strength. They are called upon to give Him strength, to attribute and contribute, to give Him the fruit of the strength He gave them, even praise in the midst of   the storm, and despite the storm- and even because of the storm. The mighty in His strength will give Him glory and praise while they behold the effects, of the storm, the broken cedars of their fondest hopes. They, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness without charging God foolishly, though their hearts are oppressed with a terrible sense of loneliness. They may feel as bleak within as is the desolation without.

Though the spirit may ‘be crushed, and the will may falter because the future may seem empty, God calls for worship with repeated emphasis. “Give unto the Lord,” He calls, “Give unto the Lord.” Faith will respond and say, “It is the voice of the Lord in the storm; therefore will I join the angels giving God glory!”

God in these days also is still speaking to us not just through the words in His Bible.  “You are not to go to the left or to the right unless you hear a voice ( of the Holy Sprit) saying this is the way walk there in”.. Many of us have not learned as to how to hear this voice .

It also now seems that unresolved problems tend to make us seek God. How to draw closer to God. You have wanted God to speak to you for a long time. You have wanted to talk to God and get answers back. This  is an opportunity for you to have a dialogue with God. God too wants to communicate with you. You might have been in church, a crusade, in your room, or outside under the stars. You felt God’s call, but you didn’t know exactly what God wanted you to do. You knew you were going to do something special, but you didn’t know what it was. Now you can also find out God’s plan for you, and others too and the literature is all free too.   It teaches you how to hear God’s voice.  God will teach you many things you need to know.  Valid spiritual tools to help you make conscious contact with God: Praise, Prayer, Humbleness, Obedience, the Bible. Get yourself ready where God speaks to you

In the book of Psalms we find the expression of a yearning for God Himself; a cry from deep within our hearts, for something more in God. And in reality this is a response to God’s longing heart, His thirst for fellowship with men. That He might fill us to overflowing that we might come into a deep abiding personal relationship with Him and His Son Jesus Christ.

Psalm 84:2 My soul longeth yea fainteth for the courts of the Lord.

This is a longing for His presence and His anointing. This is a cry to walk in the Spirit. My friends, there is something higher, something purer in God that is available to us in this day and this very hour in which we walk.  This longing for the Lord is the irresistible urge as expressed by those who so hunger and so thirst after God.

My heart and my flesh crieth out for the Living God Have you experienced this cry for Him to inhabit his people?  Have you felt this yearning to be so clothed upon by the Spirit of God? This spiritual longing is far different than the cry of selfish earthly prayers of men.

Psalm 63:1 O lord Thou art my God Early will I seek thee. My Soul thirsteth for Thee. My flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land where no water is.  This is so apart from the typical Christian experience. Are you so consumed with having this inner knowing of God? Do you so thirst that you will be satisfied with nothing less than knowing Him in all the fullness that can be known of him even as the apostles and the prophets of old so knew Him?

David said: “One thing have I desired of the Lord and that will I seek after . . . ” Many of this day are guilty of having divided hearts, so that they seek many things. They seek for their ministry. They seek for earthly riches. They seek for their own power. They seek to be seen of men. But there are those who seek God for himself. Believing that His fellowship, His presence, and His approbation are all the reward in itself.

David said: “As a hart panteth after the water brooks so panteth my soul after thee. . .”  In out questing for the Lord we find ourselves running over hill and dale, running through mountains and valleys, panting and longing with our mouth wide open, pressing forward, stretching ourselves to reach His streams of living waters. Have you caught the scent of His living waters? I am told that a deer can smell water from miles away.

If you are willing to lay aside your own personal aspirations. If you are willing to close your wandering lustful eye. If you will reach out to Him with all your heart, you too can enter into this wondrous thirst — and sup with Him and eating with Him of His secret manna and drinking with Him of His living waters.

Psalm 107:9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, (The Thirsty) and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

There is a terrific operation of the Spirit going on today to bring the Sons of God into an absolute confinement to the perfect will of God. This is the Day of His Preparation the day in which He is preparing the channel through which He shall pour forth His Glory for all the world to see. This channel is His Body in the earth that glorious company of people who are being conformed through much tribulation and fiery tests to the Image of the Son of God. This is His “battle axe and weapons of war” with which He shall subdue kingdoms and overcome all His enemies. This is His “mighty and strong One” to whom He shall commit the work of judging this world. This is His Overcomer, His “great army” with which He shall bring the nations into submission. The weapons of their warfare are not carnal, natural weapons but they are mighty weapons, mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. These are those who shall “be strong and do exploits.”

But before God can commit this great and tremendous ministry into their hands they must submit themselves to the discipline of the Lord letting Him truly be the Lord of their entire lives.

“Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).

How can I practice His abiding presence?

1) Wait on the Lord: Begin each day by rising up early and sit before Him. Consecrate your life afresh to be a part of His will and purpose in the earth. Ask Him to cleanse and forgive you, and to open your spirit to Him. Be aware of those things He has done for you and His answers to prayer. For the Lord truly appreciates being appreciated.

Have you ever come to the Lord just to sit in His presence and fellowship with Him? We can be so taken up with asking for things that we forget that He has personal feelings, too. You might feel strange if people only came to you when they wanted something.

2) Worship the Lord: Praise, the Bible states, is the fruit of our lips. At times our praise can become lip service rather than luscious fruit to God. This is something to be reckoned with. What is worship? Worship is that which cries out from deep within to bless the Lord. Praise can be singing to the Lord, but worship is singing before the Lord. “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23). To come to this higher level requires a special creative working of God within us as we wait before Him. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Cor. 3:18). Entering into a more vital worship and waiting in His presence is a life changing experience.

3) Meditating on God’s Word: “My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord” (Ps 104:34). There is a sweetness in His presence, holding His word before Him during the day. The word “meditate” comes from an old English word which literally means, “to chew the cud,” to ponder, to turn over in one’s mind. When we meditate on His word, we receive a strength and an understanding that we cannot get otherwise. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. . .” (John 1:14). This is God’s very life and nature entering the depths of our being as we sit with Him meditating on His word!

4) Smell the Roses Along the Way: There is a saying that rings with meaning: “As you go throughout the garden of life, don’t forget to smell the roses along the way.” There are joys and many things to be experienced as we walk out our life in God. It is possible to get so busy that we lose the joy of our salvation, becoming too mechanical for simple things. But God hides Himself in simplicity. If we learn to enjoy where we are in God appreciating what God is doing with and in us, we will make much more progress in our Christian life.

THE VALUE OF A WRITTEN LETTER

Now on behalf of the good of all Canadians I have often written to the mostly pretentious, no good, elected officials, and civil and public servants, my valid detailed complaints, with copies to news editors and I have often posted them on my many various internet sites now too.

And next I have often received no acknowledgements on them too even, never mind appropriate responses, further rightfully  DECENT, ACCEPTABLE  acts on them. So what else is new?
Unfortunately too many people seem wrongfully not to believe what is often now said to them unless it is firstly in writing, but even after that they can still reject the posted truth and often next TRY TO DO A FALSE SPIN TOO..  lie about it.. So what else is new?

Well thank God it next is still not my job to substantiate any further the truth or to force the persons reading it to accept the truth, and even anymore next make any of them them to to act upon it appropriately next too.. for that job  is someone’s elses.

THE FACT I HAVE PRESENTED THE TRUTH TO THEM FIRSTLY LEAVES THEM NEXT WITHOUT ANY FALSE DENIALS THAT THEY PERSONALTY, FIRSTLY  THEY WERE NOT GIVEN A CHANCE TO UNDO THEIR WRONG DOINGS, TO CORRECT THEIR WRONGS, AND GOD CAN NEXT HAVE THEM PAY THE APPROPRIATE NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES TOO.
THE BIBLE ITSELF  OFTEN RECORDS MANY TIMES WHEN PERSONS HAD FALSELY REJECTED GOD’S TRUTH AND NEXT PAID REAL PERSONAL CONSEQUENCES FOR IT NOW AS WELL..
Jer 28:1 IN THAT same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year and the fifth month, Hananiah son of Azzur, the [false] prophet, who was from Gibeon [one of the priests’ cities], said [falsely] to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and all the people:
Jer 28:2
Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
Jer 28:3
Within two [full] years will I bring back into this place all the vessels of the Lord’s house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.
Jer 28:4 And I will also bring back to this place Jeconiah [also called Coniah and Jehoiachin] son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the exiles from Judah who went to Babylon, says the Lord, for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
Jer 28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and all the people who stood in the house of the Lord.
Jer 28:6 The prophet Jeremiah said, Amen! May the Lord do so; may the Lord perform your words which you have prophesied to bring back to this place from Babylon the vessels of the Lord’s house and all who were carried away captive.
Jer 28:7 Nevertheless, listen now to {and} hear this word which I speak in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
Jer 28:8 The prophets who were before me and before you from of old prophesied against many countries and against great kingdoms, of war, of evil, and of pestilence.
Jer 28:9 But as for the prophet who [on the contrary] prophesies of peace, when that prophet’s word comes to pass, [only] then will it be known that the Lord has truly sent him.
Jer 28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke bar off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and smashed it.
Jer 28:11 And Hananiah said in the presence of all the people, Thus says the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke bars of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within the space of two [full] years. But the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
Jer 28:12
The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet [some time] after Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke bar from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah:
Jer 28:13
Go, tell Hananiah, Thus says the Lord: You have broken yoke bars of wood, but you have made in their stead bars of iron.
Jer 28:14
For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put upon the neck of all these nations the iron yoke of servitude of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him. For I have given him even the beasts of the field.
Jer 28:15
Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the prophet, Listen now, Hananiah, The Lord has not sent you, but you have made this people trust in a lie.
Jer 28:16
Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you will die, because you have uttered {and} taught rebellion against the Lord.
Jer 28:17 So Hananiah the prophet died [two months later], the same year, in the seventh month.

It next is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

A good name is worth a lot more than all the silver and gold you hope to aquire next too..

NOW I HAVE OFTEN MET, SEEN MANY PEOPLE LIVE TO REGRET THAT THEY HAD NOT ACTED UPON WHAT I HAD WRITTEN TO THEM..  THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD STILL TOO

Can a person change?

Now can a Person change themselves?  Is there hope for anyone?

Some people say that recognition of the problems, obstacles is basically 90 percent of the solution, and I really do also wish that next was true..

Now we all seem to meet all type  of persons in real life, the control freaks, verbal and human right abusers, Bullies, enslavers, liars, cheaters, imposters, pretenders, con artists too.  And we often simply do wonder why they do not change..

Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.

Beware though — still today most bad persons resist changing, and do  employ false denial techniques of their wrongs, deny wrongfully their own need to change and next even build even more walls between them and others. You can see this bad approach used by  alcoholics now as well most of the time..

Being nice. kind, friendly  to a really bad person  is still also a complete waste of time, for they will not change their negative behaviors on their own, they see   no reasons to do so now still too. Sad but true. We cannot never control a bad person, a drug addict or an alcoholic, but we can learn all about it and learn firstly to control our own behavior, appropriate responses –including how we should behave in the relationship with the  sick and suffering and /or possibly manipulative addict or alcoholic, abuser..

In fact it is next impossible for anyone to try to to change others. I have seen many marriage fail cause the wife was naïve to believe she could change her husband instead of accepting him for who, what he was at the time of marriage. After all it is easier to change oneself than others too but wrongfully most people try to change others and not themselves. If it was supposedly easy to change anyone then we would not need prisons for the too often now habitually criminals in reality.

In reality also now whether you are talking now about a parent, a relative,  a spouse, criminals, alcoholics, drug addicts to what ever no one basically can be helped firstly who refused to admit they need help, and next also refuses thus next any help to change now as well.

And in truth the only people I have ever seen who manifested any  lasting, real changes were these people changed by God, who had next became born again, and to be fully truthful here too next half of them even got worse again next, a dog who returned to their vomit, they denied next the DENIED THE SAME FAITH THEY BELIEVED IN TOO.

The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous rightfully says that only God can next heal, relieve the sin, the illness of addiction. It requires the addictive person to first confess they have sinned and next ask for God’s forgiveness, help.

Too many a persons also do falsely deny who they really are, hiding behind prestigious or pretentious facade that they are unknown, cannot be discerned, read, known cause they are too complex.. you can fool some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time but not all of the people all of the time..

Jesus himself said a person can be known simply by what they do. good people do good things.. and bad people tend to do bad things.

(Mat 7:18 KJV)  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

(Mat 7:19 KJV)  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

(Mat 7:20 KJV)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

(Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

(Mat 7:22 KJV)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23 KJV)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Mat 7:24 KJV)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

(Mat 7:25 KJV)  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

(Mat 7:26 KJV)  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

(Mat 7:27 KJV)  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Helping others to change for the good is even more difficult today as well

Reality- Today many Children are also being falsely led to  believe that Gambling, Alcohol and Bad drug use is generally  safe. The average 18 year old has seen 100,000 television commercials encouraging him or her to drink. That’s why 80% of high school seniors have tried alcohol, 32% have gotten drunk in the last thirty days, 43% smoke marijuana, and about one third are smoking cigarettes. Most addicts die of their addiction and they take their family members down with them. The first step in any help program recovery is to get honest with yourself. Get honest even as to what the other person is really like.. Do not let them take you down the drain with them next too.. Control what you watch, read, hear and what your children watch, put the computer also in the family room where you can supervise it, see what they are doing with it.
We all also must take any personal addiction seriously especially amongst teens, and the adults now too,  because 25% of North Americans die as a result of substance abuse. The average alcoholic dies twenty-six years earlier than he or she would otherwise. Drug users, alcoholics, cheaters, abusers, adulterers affect negatively continually too the lives of at least six others

Establish Boundaries, Set Limits, Set detachment.  One example of setting a boundary is telling a close friend, a loved one  that you prefer they not be around you if they are smoking,  drunk or high. Notice that it is specific demand, and you have to sit down and communicate this type of request explicitly with that someone. Setting a boundary like this is difficult because there is this tendency to hurt other’s feelings. But that is part of what is keeping you ineffective– your caring more about this person’s feelings than your own personal well being. Setting boundaries is about putting your own personal well being and even that of others first, and letting that be a guiding example of how to live. You know you are setting effective boundaries when you are taking back control of your own life firstly and starting to regain your own sanity–instead of being all wrapped up in the problems of a struggling smoker, rebel, drug addict or alcoholic.

The fastest way for anyone to change is by prayers, them also praying, even by the prayers of others, reading the Bible as well.. valid support groups also still can either be pretentious, fake, wolves in sheep clothing,   or helpful?  Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,    Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

“Here are some things that you can do in order to practice detachment with the struggling pervert in your life:
-Don’t do things that they should be doing themselves.
-Don’t bend over backwards to rescue them or save them from natural consequences.
-Don’t cover up for their mistakes or embarrassing situations.
-Don’t rescue them from crisis or financial situations.
-Don’t try to fix them.
-Let go of any guilt you may have about them.

Detachment is not about denying your emotions. If someone close to you dies, for example, you will probably feel sad. You can’t choose this feeling. It simply is. But we do have the power to affect the intensity of this feeling, by focusing on the positive aspects of the situation. We can also change our thinking in an attempt to eradicate irrational beliefs that might be contributing to our emotional turmoil.

The goal is not to go without emotions, the goal is to achieve some level of emotional stability. We are detaching from the negative, irrational thoughts that stir up our emotions–like the guilt we might have if we think someone’s perversity, addiction is our fault.
Detachment is difficult and takes practice.”

Summary: How to help a teenager that does not listen or how to make a bad person change to a good person.. are some of the very common search questions for this topic now too.. the critical word being change.. you can set clear boundaries, detachments, and  give wise verbal instruction to a wise person, or some kind of a reward incentive, but still he may or may not next listen to it and follow it.. a foolish person  certainly will not listen to good advice for a start, may need to hopefully learn the hard way with a rod of life’s correction LIKE THE PRODIGAL SON NEXT DID .. for  you cannot hope to change anyone still by yourself without God’s help, input in reality. Humble Prayer is the starting method in getting God’s help.

(Jer 14:7 KJV)  O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

(Jer 2:19 KJV)  Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

(Jer 3:22 KJV)  Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

(Jer 5:6 KJV)  Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

Valid spiritual tools to help you make conscious contact with God: Praise, Prayer, Humbleness, Obedience, the Bible. my teenager smokes, does not listen to me

Many persons complain that my teenager smokes, does not listen to me..  obviously he also does not listen to God , the teenager does not know how to communicate with God now next too. You still need to pray for Him that God will deal with him..

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Understandably too many persons are discontented unhappy today with themselves ,and others and they basically have a God shaped vacuum that they are trying to fill in with alcohol, bad drugs, verbal abuse , power, control, sex, smoking or whatever, and none of this counterfeit fulfillment will even help to make for their own personal lasting happiness too.

Well in love you also do need to set down some rules, and hold to them  such as if you live under my roof, eat my bread, you abide by my rules.. or you do not get to eat, sleep here.. and you need to deal with their theft likely too, such as where are they getting the money for the cigarettes..

Being nice. kind, friendly  to a really bad person  is still also a complete waste of time, for they will not change their negative behaviors on their own, they see   no reasons to do so now still too. I personally had never smoked because my parents had never let me and when I grew up and became an adult next I saw no good reason to smoke,  saw next only plenty of bad ones, such it is bad for your health, shortens your life too.

Parents clearly have responsibility to bring up their children themselves  properly.. including a proper religious education

– They the parents need to prepare their children for real life..

– thus also they need to prepare their children to be able to have a decent job, by getting a decent education

– and they the parents also do need to bring up their children for marriage too, not falsely spoiling them..  Sadly many children do not even know next as adult how to cook, prepare a meal, sew, clean a house, they still even lack the discipline to even do so next..

(Deu 5:29 KJV)  O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

(Deu 31:13 KJV)  And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

(1 Chr 9:23 KJV)  So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.(2 Chr 20:13 KJV)  And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

(2 Chr 25:4 KJV)  But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

(Psa 78:4 KJV)  We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

(Psa 78:5 KJV)  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

(Psa 78:6 KJV)  That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

(Jer 32:18 KJV)  Thou showest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

(Jer 32:39 KJV)  And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

(1 Tim 3:12 KJV)  Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

(Titus 2:4 KJV)  That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

(Rev 3:19 KJV)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
