Total housing starts in the Calgary region plunged by a stunning 66 per cent in January compared with the same month a year ago, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. Data released today by the agency said starts in the Calgary census metropolitan area dropped from 711 units in January 2008 to 243 units last month. There were 204 single-detached starts in January 2009, lower by about 44 per cent from the 363 units started in January 2008.  “The downward trend in single detached starts seen during 2008 is expected to continue into 2009 due to the current economic uncertainty and elevated levels of inventory in the market,” said Lai Sing Louie, senior market analyst in Calgary for the CMHC. Meanwhile, multi-family starts, which include semi-detached units, rows, and apartments, amounted to 39 units in January 2009 compared to 348 units started in January 2008 – an 89 per cent decline. “Multi-family starts have been moving lower since June of last year while inventory levels have been moving up,” said Louie. “As a result, much of the multi-family construction activity in 2009 will focus on completing the multitude of projects that were started in 2007 and 2008 rather than initiating new construction.” Housing starts across Alberta’s seven largest centres totalled 836 units in January compared to 2,185 units a year earlier – 62 per cent down. Lower levels of activity were reported across six of Alberta’s seven largest centres. Wood Buffalo reported a 12.3 per cent increase in year-over-year activity.http://www.calgaryherald.com/Calgary+housing+starts+slide/1269875/story.html

In spite of a growing, deepening Albertan  recession the most recent  growth makes Calgary , 1/3 the size of Montreal, is the third-largest municipality in Canada ?  Now according to the latest statistics   Toronto (2,631,725 people in 2007) and Montreal (1,620,693 in 2006) had more people. Ottawa (898,150 in 2008) and Edmonton (782,439 in 2009) rounded out the top five.  However, if one uses census estimates from 2008 for metropolitan areas — which rightfully do include the immediate  surrounding suburbs — then the Calgary Region falls to fifth, behind Toronto (5,531,263), Montreal (3,750,540), Vancouver (2,271,224) and Ottawa (1,198,668).  Calgary (1,182,446) is unique  for having the vast majority of its population live in the actual municipality, and not in surrounding suburbs. It has no suburbs because it is a mostly new city basically. That is why it is also costly as the roads, sewers, are mostly new too. Calgary only has 60,000 more residents than Edmonton (1,124,163) and it makes a lot of false noise in that fact too cause it wants to attract much needed capital investors for non existing industrial, commercial aspects.. There basically are only 2 large cities in Alberta, Calgary and Alberta, and a handful of smaller towns.. Alberta has some of the biggest liars, spin doctors in Canada for the main cities are desperately seeking more  revenues, and capital investors and anyway they can get them now too even by lies, distortions. There is not much industrial, Manufacturing business in Alberta due to the shortage of labor and skilled persons, and high operating costs. People in Calgary and Alberta do often dream of becoming rich ,  but it is a far away dream when you consider the high costs of living there and the uncertainty of holding onto a job too.

Consumer bankruptcies soared 50.6 per cent to 7,821 in December from 5,192 a year earlier, it said. Accuracy Of Polls a Question In Itself

Polls is still like adding in arithmetic, just  leave out some numbers and you get a wrong answer. As simple as that,
“Born again Christians” or the “Evangelicals” are defined for a start as the professing Christian  people who said they have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, they are married to Him,  that is still important in their life today and who also indicated they believe that when they die they will go to Heaven because they had confessed their sins and had accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. They generally are abstainers from Alcohol, Smoking, drunkenness, drugs, adultery, sex outside of marriage . ” This includes their believing, saying the Bible is the word of God, asserting that the Bible is accurate in all that it teaches; and describing God as the all-knowing, all-powerful, perfect deity who created the universe and still rules it today saying their faith is very important in their life today; believing they have a personal responsibility to share their religious beliefs about Christ with non-Christians; Believing they must help all the poor and needy persons too, believing that Satan exists; believing that eternal salvation is possible only through grace, not works; believing that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth; . Being classified as an evangelical is not dependent upon church attendance or the denominational affiliation of the church attended supposedly..”  Charismatics and Pentecostals are part of this group even if some falsely do not want to accept them. Catholics and Mormons, Jehovah witnesses are   not a part of this grouping.

“Notional Christians “are those who consider themselves to be Christian but do not meet the not born again criteria  such as  Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah witnesses they really are not Christians, mere pretenders, imposters, foolish virgins according to the evangelicals.

A poll a sample of only one thousand supposedly born again Christians is meaningless as it already has a built in error of 70 percent.

Conservatives are Notional Christians , Evangelical Born again Christians, and non Christians, non liberal, non democrats

Superiority Complex, Superior

(Psa 49:1 KJV)  Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: 2   Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
It too has been my sad personal experiences that too many people find false reasons, even  supposedly Christian persons in supposedly Christian  churches, to feel superior over the  others.. and it generally seems to be  like this
-those people who never were or are not sick, are more spiritual than those who are or have been sick
-the people married are superior over those divorced, or single
-the people how have children are superior over those who do not
-the people who have a home, car are superior now as well over those who do not have them
-the people who are members of a church are superior to those who are not

-the people who are rich are superior over those who are not
-the people who are educated are superior over those who are not

etc

(Mat 18:1 KJV)  At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
(Mat 18:4 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
(1 Sam 2:7 KJV)  The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
(Job 34:19 KJV)  How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
(Prov 10:15 KJV)  The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
(Prov 13:7 KJV)  There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
(Prov 14:20 KJV)  The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
(Prov 18:23 KJV)  The poor useth entreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.
(Prov 22:16 KJV)  He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want.
(Prov 28:6 KJV)  Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
(Prov 28:11 KJV)  The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
(2 Cor 8:9 KJV)  For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
(James 2:5 KJV)  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
(James 2:6 KJV)  But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
(Rev 3:17 KJV)  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

and how do you see yourself?

(Psa 49:20 KJV)  Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
7  None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
8  (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
9  That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.
10  For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
11  Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
12  Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
13  This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
14  Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
15  But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
16  Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
17  For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
18  Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
19  He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
20  Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.

If

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Me an undeniable  chief of sinners now too I have to admit I have rightfully been depressed to listen to the mostly unanswered prayer requests that so many proffessing Christians pray because it is too obvious to me they have a false concept of God, who He is , what his Duties, and His conditions for prayer being answered firstly. And When I see the speed dialing prayer many Christians use, and/or  see their lack of Bible verses as well now on the so called Christians internet sites  know something is wrong spiritually with them..

I have also often been embaressed in many a church when the pastors themslves did not attend the Church prayer meetings but let others handle it.. so next I was not surpised as to how unspirtual next the same church became.. Baptist or Pentecostal, it mades no difference..

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;  2  Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3  And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5  Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6  And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7  And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?  8  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

(Luke 18:9  KJV)   And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11  The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

(2 Chr 7:14 KJV)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
(John 15:7 KJV)  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
(Mark 8:38 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
(Rom 1:16 KJV)  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
I was in a very nice looking church for the first time, and I could not help but notice how very few people were in it even though it was located in a big city, in the heart of residential area now too and I could not help but wonder why it was so. Shortly in the middle of the service the pastor had announced that Wednesday prayer meeting had been cancelled so people could spend more time with their families, and it became to me quite apparent why thus church was dying and going to hell now too..
the Pastor now having a PHD or knowing the Greek would not help here too..

Not just in the Pentecostal churches, but there is the same problems of inadequacies in all of the so called Christians churches, evangelical ones especially that put me to sleep in their predictable church services much too easy… because their Church services were wrongfully not seed with prayer firstly.

The Poor Widow Jesus refers too

“A widow in ancient Palestine was in a very vulnerable financial condition. Most people lived in patriarchal family units on hereditary family land, under the authority of the ruling adult male. Women lived under the authority and protection of men. Unmarried women remained at home under the authority of their fathers. Married women lived under the authority and protection of their husbands. While some widows in Palestine were citizens of Rome, with greater legal and financial resources, most widows were extremely vulnerable. Most widows had no legal standing and no resources of their own. For this reason, the Torah always recognized widows as a special class of people who needed protection. In both Mark 12:38-44 and Luke 20:45-47; 21:1-4, the story of the poor widow comes immediately after Jesus’s condemnation of the practices of the Scribes. The Scribes were the legal scholars. They were the experts on the oral and written Torah.

In both Mark and Luke, Jesus comments on the poor widow after describing the Scribes as those who “devour the houses of widows.”Unless she was a Roman citizen, a widow had no legal status to manage the property and money her husband had left behind. After a man’s death, the Scribes would appoint a pious man to handle the widow’s financial affairs. The implication of the story is that the Scribes were using their status as experts in the law to defraud the widows out of their property. The Scribes who were supposed to protect her had left her with only two tiny coins to live on.This story Jesus tells about the poor widow is consistent with his condemnation of the religious system, which defrauded the poor widows. It is also consistent with his condemnation of the practices of the rich because of their exploitation of the poor. He compares the contributions of the rich with the tiny contribution of the widow as a way to criticize the rich. Although the very rich gave large sums of money, what they gave made no difference in the way they lived. They gave out of their abundance. However, she gave all she had to live on.When Christian teaching separates the story of the widow from the comment about the Scribes who devour the houses of widows, it misses the point of the teachings of Jesus about money.

This is not a story telling the poor to give away everything they have. It is a story about an unjust system in which the poorest and most vulnerable were being exploited by the rich and powerful. ..This story does not teach the most vulnerable of the society to give away everything they have. In fact, this story is a condemnation of a religious system that robbed widows of their money.”

Interesting.. I have seen big rich evangelical churches abuse the poor persons myself.. Baptist, Alliance, Pentecostal ones too..

The false comforters

Luke 14:26 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his [own] father and mother [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God] and [likewise] his wife and children and brothers and sisters–[yes] and even his own life also–he cannot be My disciple. 27  Whoever does not persevere {and} carry his own cross and come after (follow) Me cannot be My disciple. 28 For which of you, wishing to build a farm building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost [to see] whether he has sufficient means to finish it?  29 Otherwise, when he has laid the foundation and is unable to complete [the building], all who see it will begin to mock {and} jeer at him, 30 Saying, This man began to build and was not able (worth enough) to finish. 31 Or what king, going out to engage in conflict with another king, will not first sit down and consider {and} take counsel whether he is able with ten thousand [men] to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 And if he cannot [do so], when the other king is still a great way off, he sends an envoy and asks the terms of peace. 33 So then, any of you who does not forsake (renounce, surrender claim to, give up, say good-bye to) all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Luke 12:51 Do you suppose that I have come to give peace upon earth? No, I say to you, but rather division; Luke 12:52 For from now on in one house there will be five divided [among themselves], three against two and two against three. Luke 12:53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

While I totally support marriage as an essential basis of stability, morality as well in our civilization, Marriage ( Or related sex) itself is not our final goal, or the answer to all of life’s problem.. And sadly too many married people are even sinfully too self centered. Jesus UNDENIABLY firstly is the answer to the problems of life and the goal of life even for pastors, who seem too often to be sex maniacs, adulterers now too… Todd Bentley and all of the others do note especially this too

(1 Cor 2:2 KJV)  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

(1 Cor 2:4 KJV)  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

If you put Jesus first be ready to pay the price for it even from your spouse, relatives, in-laws, others who very likely will mock you and discourage you from doing so cause they have wrongfully chosen now now to do so as well. Be willing to pay the price for follwing after JESUS  now too

(Mark 8:34 KJV)  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38  Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

(Micah 7:2 KJV)  The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. 3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. 4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

(Micah 7:5 KJV)  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

(Micah 7:7 KJV)  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

(Micah 7:8 KJV)  Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

(Micah 7:10 KJV)  Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

(1 Cor 7:29 KJV)  But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

(1 Cor 7:30 KJV)  And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

(1 Cor 7:31 KJV)  And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

(1 Cor 7:32 KJV)  But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

(1 Cor 7:33 KJV)  But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

Evangelicals & Politics

“The era of reducing Christianity to a narrow set of ideological commitments is over. The notion that Christianity in general and evangelicalism in particular are by nature right-wing creeds has always been wrong. How can a faith built around a commitment to the poor and the vulnerable be seen as leading ineluctably to conservative political conclusions? And when political commentators talk about “evangelicals,” they are almost always talking about white evangelicals, forgetting that millions of African Americans are devout evangelical Christians. In 2004, Warren took the view that Christians should vote on a short list of “nonnegotiable” issues, including abortion,  gays. Warren also declared: “Jesus’s agenda is far bigger than just one or two issues. . . . We have to care about poverty, we have to care about disease, we have to care about illiteracy, we have to care about corruption in government, sex trafficking.” That is the new politics of evangelical Christianity. “

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/18/AR2008081801850.html?nav=rss_opinion/columns

Christians do not follow the self centered conservative Republicans, or the immoral Liberal democrat agendas rather they solely are to follow Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit himself and the Bible. True Christians care about honesty, justice, morality, fairness, human rights, poverty, the poor, helping others, love, sickness, sick, elderley, young persons etc.,

(2 Cor 3:18 KJV) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Put them into jail

I practise what I preach, I do not hestitate to rigfully expose all the bad guys I encounter

 .. Keeping Criminals in Jail!!!”
  1. You can start first by putting all the crooked politicians, crooked cops, crooked civil and public servants in Canada permanently in jail where they all belong firstly too.

  2. lailayuile, on August 28th, 2008  Said:

Well, sir, that would certainly make for an even more overloaded system. That’s why we need more civic minded people running for office, people that are citizens and deal with this everyday. i think often that those with power are so isolated from the average joe, and they become wrapped up in their own agendas and goals, forgetting why they moved into politics in the first place.

  3. Put more of the tax payers money abusers in prison and we will have enough money next to pay for the prison, for the amount they have abused already always far exceeds what it costs to put them into prison,.

More honest fools running for office will not change anything next..

We elected honest Harper and he turned out to be another liar..

Power , money, fame corrupts.. and their adultery, alcoholism is already a sure sign we have the wrong persons in public office now too.

Here is what I know works best the exemplary public exposure and prosecution of the bad guys serves everyone’s best interest including the next person who takes office, for it really serves as a warning to him or her not to do wrong..

instead everyone tends to cover-ups, cover it up like they falsely   still deny the sins of too many crooked cops and crooked pastors now still too..

Yes sadly some even in the news media plays the ostrich game too but that is what is great about the net..I expose everyone to all.. now they cannot hide it anymore..

>>Firstly, 1 Timothy contains instruction that would encourage elders (pastors) to be appointed who are not young men – promote not a novice. From what I have read although Timothy is referred to as a young man, he was probably in his late twenties or early thirties … How old was Michael when he was appointed and anointed for ministry?

I have been contemplating about this only the last 4 decades now ever since my first encounter with a perverse pastor.. a perverse church, perverse office and engineering managers, and perverse politicians, bad cops.. and the AGE ITSELF IS NOT THE ISSUE..

1 You know firstly Garbage in, means garbage out, if you hired a bad person, especially your bad friends now,  for the job you will get bad results.. covering it up makes matters worse as next is often the case still too everywhere.

I practice what I preach, I do not hesitate to rightfully expose all the bad guys I encounter anywhere, even in churches, police stations, governments too, etc., http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST

No one is doing a friend a favour by lying, covering-up for him.. open rebuke is better than secret love for them too… those whom I love I chasten and rebuke too.. but there are still too many ostriches in the churches.. one church next took 5 years to see the pastor’s unacceptable sins that I saw in the first month, before they did what I would have dome immediately too.. they fired him

More people have died after contracting a virulent infection that has broken out in hospitals in Montréal and Calgary than were killed by SARS — yet neither public health nor hospital officials warned the public until CMAJ broke the news. The precise number of deaths and colectomies that occurred after patients contracted C. difficile during the Montréal outbreak is unknown because most hospitals CMAJ contacted would not provide statistics. “Certainly it’s much more serious than SARS,” says Dr. Bruce Brown, the director of professional services at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montréal. C. difficile is not a reportable disease, in part because nosocomial infections are viewed as being confined to hospitals and hence as not posing a risk to the public . Physicians and hospitals must report any severe or unusual outbreaks of infectious diseases, however.  “No hospital  wants to be labelled as the C. diff hospital,”   This is just more unacceptable Hopsital beuracracy  crap now too. For at the Lakeshore General Hospital on Montréal’s West Island, where an outbreak had been occurring since November 2003, doctors were seeing patients from the community who have never been hospitalized at that facility testing positive for C. difficile, said Ramona Rodrigues, the hospital’s infection control officer.

Hang all, all  of those bad federal and provincial Ministers, hospital administrators  now rightfully too.

(Rom 13:9 KJV)  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 Cor 15:33 Do not be so deceived {and} misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt {and} deprave good manners {and} morals {and} character.

Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived {and} deluded {and} misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.)   For whatever a man sows, that  is (also)  what he will reap. ( he can  reap too what others have sowed now too)

2 Tim 3:13 But wicked men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving {and} leading astray others and being deceived {and} led astray themselves.

Victims of deadly C. difficile outbreak seek right to sue Quebec hospital –  MONTREAL – Victims of two outbreaks of C. difficile at a hospital near Montreal are asking the court for permission to sue the hospital for millions of dollars. A class-action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the victims, both dead and living, as well as the Association to Defend Victims of Nosocomial Infections. Lawyer Jean-Pierre Menard is expected to announce further details during a news conference Thursday morning in Montreal. C. difficile is a common bacterial infection in hospitals but it can be especially deadly in people weakened by illness. Sixteen people died at the Honore-Mercier Hospital in St-Hyacinthe after contracting C. difficile between May and November of 2006. Quebec coroner Catherine Rudel-Tessier conducted an investigation into the deaths and found the hospital’s administration partly to blame for failing to prevent the spread of the infections.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/080828/national/que_c_difficile

Perverts define this Health problem as a superbug problem, but the real problem is really the sick people who do not wash their hands when they go to the bathroom, or before they eat, when they serve others and also the cheap hospital administrators, governments  who do a bad job of keeping hospital clean, or disinfected from,  shit, urine, etc.,..

“The expertise exists — relatively close by — to help Ontario set up a system aimed at getting a handle on the C. difficile crisis. The  opportunistic superbug has been connected to several hundred deaths in  Ontario since 2006. Quebec, responding to a C. diff crisis of its own that started in early  2004, developed and put in place an interhospital information-sharing  strategy, along with mandatory reporting of C. diff cases and intense  scrutiny of hospitals regarding everything from reporting structures to  toilet-cleaning methods. The Quebec model has been recommended to other provinces, including Ontario.  It’s time-consuming and requires a high level of open communication, as well  as monitoring, data interpretation and problem-solving. But Quebec has  demonstrated it can be done.”

But copying the Quebec program will not work that easy in Ontario still.. Quebecers historically have been people caring persons, more compassionate persons now too, regardless of the costs,  unlike the too often money hungry  persons of Ontario..

Subject: C. difficile- Shit diseases

I have been writing now over 2 years to the federal and provincial governments, health Ministers, even on the net  that the Shit diseases has not been adequately looked after in Hospitals even and that one death from this disease, most of which could have been prevented is unacceptable still too

C. difficile needs a look  Toronto Star –   Ontarians have just learned the number of elderly patients who have died at Ontario hospitals from a virulent strain of the deadly superbug C. difficile has climbed to 463 in the past 30 months.
http://www.thestar.com/comment/article/454809

Me I still tell it like it is, honestly, even that Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons services everyone’s’ best interest, or the fact all of the federal Health Ministers in the last decade too now should have rightfully been hanged by the courts for even their unacceptable murder, manslaughter. About a decade ago when I started to use  the health system in Canada, in   Alberta and next in Quebec, I started at the wrong time too to next see what it really was like, inadequate and with much too many unacceptable shortcomings too.

Ontario’s Jo Brant Hospital had begged for funds The governments falsely play with our lives.. “Last September, a Quebec coroner investigating C. difficile deaths in Saint-Hyacinthe concluded the principal problem that fuelled an outbreak there was management’s need to save money and its decision to skimp on prevention measures.  Clostridium difficile or C. difficile is a bacterium that causes diarrhea and more serious intestinal conditions such as colitis. It is the most common cause of infectious diarrhea in hospitalized patients in the industrialized world.  Control measures include extra housecleaning, cleaning patient rooms twice a day and making sure even the phones and light switches are cleaned with heavy duty products that kill C. difficile spores..  a number of factors contribute to C. difficile outbreaks including the severity of the disease, the abilities of the organism to live on surfaces for months, elderly patients, older hospitals with multi-bed rooms and overcrowding of facilities.    An infectious disease expert who fought on the front lines of the Quebec C. difficile outbreak that claimed thousands of  lives says it’s “surprising” Ontario has taken so long to target the infection. “It’s a bit surprising that Ontario, which is right next door to Quebec, would wait for so long to implement a basic surveillance system,” said Dr. Jacques Pepin, an infectious disease expert at Sherbrooke University. “It’s not very good.” A review of deaths by the Infection Prevention and Control Unit of the University Health Network in Toronto shows the outbreak ran from May 1, 2006, to Dec. 31, 2007, starting seven months earlier than originally thought, and that it was about four times as deadly.”  http://www.thespec.com/News/Local/article/365792

War crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic has been arrested

“War crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic has been arrested in Serbia 13 years after he was first indicted. The Bosnian Serb wartime leader, one of the world’s most wanted men, was taken into custody by the Serbian security services, Serbian President Boris Tadic’s office said in a statement.  “Karadzic was located and arrested,” the statement said. He was detained and taken to see judges of the war crimes court.  Karadzic is twice indicted for genocide for the 43-month siege of Sarajevo which claimed 12,000 lives and for orchestrating the 1995 massacre of some 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica, the worst atrocity in Europe since World War Two. “

Canada’s political news stories today are not that dramatic, rather mundane, boring, both the Liberals and the Conservatives are putting us slowly to sleep so the so called prophet’s, writers, spin doctors are now  busy trying to generate our interest in the middle of another boring summer by trying to predict when the next federal election will come and who will win it?  Most Canadians still do want a good government, and what we’ve got right now is again far from it.

At least the Internet itself now is changing the politic scene, not only in the United States, but here  at home in Canada as well. The growing influence of the Internet in politics cannot be denied especially with the younger voters who see the internet as their first source of political feedback.. But “Only 35 percent of Americans  over age 65 are online, according to data from April and May compiled by the Pew Internet Project at the Pew Research Center.”  “But when you account for factors like race, wealth and education, the  picture changes dramatically. “About three-quarters of white,  college-educated men age over 65 use the Internet,” said  Susannah Fox,  director of the project.

The Internet as a tool for news, information, opinions, and entertainment  continues to grow. And I have been using it for decades myself as a political expression  ever since it had first started now too. ”

” Nik Nanos, of Nanos Research states, “Considering the Conservatives have   thrown everything including the kitchen sink at the Liberals and they are  still mired in a dead heat must make one pause. If attacks ads, tax cuts,  and being recognized as a competent and a solid government by average  Canadians isn’t enough to win support for the Conservatives, what will? ”

“Here’s a tip for those of you who are responsible for Conservative.ca, you’re  not in the opposition anymore, time to drop the childish taunting (Bullying)  (and poor design) and act like the government.” But Conservatives still rather tend to be bullies, who cannot change their sport, spots and clearly they do not know now to govern even, never mind a decent sales and marketing program even.. “

“It would seem that the Conservatives have still not shed the attitude or  tone of an opposition party. They have been masterful in their daily tactics  and attacks but more than two years into their mandate, the average Canadian  would likely be hard pressed to describe what a Stephen Harper Canada would  look like in ten years.  Could it be that it is time for the Conservatives to start offering  Canadians more information than simply insulting Liberal leader Stephane  Dion?” again and again?

Most of the civic, provincial  and federal politicians seem still to have too little integrity and some too often for my liking next have been  shamelessly forced to leave politics because of an exposed scandal. Not another  role model as well even is the current- the Conservative Surrey-North candidate Dana  Cadman, the wife of former Surrey-North MP Chuck Cadman   who changed stories about whether her husband was offered a  bribe by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, presumably to keep her good standing  with her party but at the same time betraying Surrey journalist Tom Zytaryk  who broke the story in a biography of her late husband.

Truly many Canadians seem to like to elect the liars and they falsely become disjointed when they do not keep their promises next too often.. So again most Canadians have become bored ostriches and they have almost entirely ignored the passing of a minor landmark: Stephen Harper’s minority government is now experiencing a longevity that no other minority regime ever has. So what!! Many others have rightfully suggested that  the reason the government hasn’t fallen lies in the sad state of affairs within the Liberal party, especially with it’s non inspiring leader. To me that is no surprise, after all he too now was part of the boring Liberal Jean Chrétien government that too only pretended to care about the equal good welfare of all Canadians.., and most of voters certainly don’t appear to have enough confidence in Dion’s faltering command of the Liberal party to give the party a Governing majority.Stephen Harper himself now is as bad  as they come,  not the best prime minister in history, and definitely shows no signs of becoming now stronger, rather one foot forward and one foot backwards has been his Parties ongoing progress too. Definitely his party is unlikely to obtain a majority government if the current sad Conservative state of affairs remains likely unchanged. It’s probably best to say the current regime will stay in power because no immediate better alternative exists. Yes” The length of this government can hardly be considered anything but a poor sign for our nation’s future”, present as well .The governing Conservatives have discovered something of late: Their modus operandi – politics as war – isn’t working as it used to.

Mean while even acording to the  The Hill Times Guy Giorno, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new chief of staff, too now  has started to shake up some ofthe fderal Cabinet ministers’ offices as well. Now at least three Cabinet ministers had changed their chiefs of staff , Cabinet chiefs of staff  Industry Minister Jim Prentice, Immigration Minister Diane Finley and Agriculture minister Gerry Ritz also hire new chiefs of staff. Now that is not unusual.. what is consistent is though the New Conservatives continue to hire friends into office, good paying jobs too,  something they had promised if elected they would not do..

– Aaron Gairdner, chief of staff to Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz (Battlefords-Lloydminster, Sask.), took over from Lynette Corbett. Mr. Gairdner,  is married to Stacey Gairdner, executive assistant to Laureen Harper. Mr. Gairdner served as chief of staff to then-defence minister Gordon O’Connor (Carleton-Mississippi Mills, Ont.)  Mr. Gairdner joined Mr. Bernier’s office   and prior to the last federal election held in January 2006, Mr. Gairdner worked in the Harper OLO.- Stephen Kelly is the new chief of staff to Industry Minister Jim Prentice (Calgary Centre-North, Alta.) and succeeds Jean-Sébastien Rioux. Mr. Kelly, prior to being appointed as the new chief of staff to Mr. Prentice, was working for Mr. Bernier as a senior policy adviser as was Mr. Fraser who was serving as director of communications in the same office.- Mike Fraser is the new chief of staff to Citizenship and Immigration Minister Diane Finley (Haldimand-Norfolk, Ont.) and succeeds John Weissenberger. Meanwhile, prior to these most recent changes last week, the Prime Minister’s Office appointed three other new chiefs of staff during the previous week.- Elizabeth Dodds is the new chief of staff to Government House Leader Peter Van Loan (York-Simcoe, Ont.) and succeeds Norm McIntosh.- Neil Brodie is the new chief of staff to International Trade Minister Sen. Michael Fortier, and takes over for Claude Alain.- Jacques Fauteux, former deputy director of communications, was hired as the chief of staff to James Moore (Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam, B.C.), secretary of state for Official Languages, the Asia-Pacific Gateway Strategy and the 2010 Olympic Games. Mr. Moore was promoted to the position of secretary of state last month. Meanwhile, back in the PMO, Mr. Giorno has also made a number of staff adjustments in a variety of departments,

and the Conservative circus continues.. More than mere face  changes are needed for the Conservatives now as well.. for I too do really do rightfully dislike all leaders, bad  politicians who hire people to work on their re-election campaigns instead of looking after the good welfare of all Canadians now still too, and who are they fooling as to what they are doing now but themselves..

“The politics of destruction has run its course..  momentum, which was once on the Conservatives’ side, has been drifting away. Their penchant for destructive politics has hurt them ethically. But more than that, because they have placed so much emphasis on battlefield tactics, they have little in the policy vault with which to move forward. .. A veteran pollster was saying last week that, if an election were held today, the Tories would likely find themselves on the opposition benches.” Hopefully also in jail now next too.

A blatant tax on the motorist – Speed Cameras

More crap from the Alberta Police too..Since January, RCMP and provincial sheriffs have issued more than 2,000 speeding tickets to people driving on Highway 63, including 363 tickets over the weekend. Political and labour leaders have been lobbying the Alberta government for years to twin the highway between Edmonton and the Fort McMurray area. While some work is underway, most of the money is being spent on highway work north of the oilsands capital. Bellows said the entire highway would be safe if motorists just obeyed the speed limit. “We are frustrated,” he said. “Just slow down and relax. You will get there safe.”  Meanwhile, leadfoot drivers are also a problem on highways through Banff National Park.  RCMP report that officers issued 115 speeding tickets over the weekend between Lake Louise and the Jasper National Park Boundary. In some cases drivers along Highway 93 were clocked going more than 60 km over the posted speed limit. ( Revenue generating ) Speed limits in the mountain parks are set with an eye toward preventing collisions with wildlife. ( and how often does that occur?) RCMP in the Peace River area said even when police warn motorists about speed traps some drivers continue to drive faster than the posted limit. ..

RCMP like to give speed tickets when you are leaving the park, not entering it too.. and I got 2 speeding tickets on the same spot in Canmore ten years apart too… and the second time I went to court and rightfully fought the dirty RCMP too.

In reality the too often self serving, money hungry, promotional and empire oriented police, and their superiors, bad justice ministers, bad politicians  really do not care about the citizens good welfare but only their own

” official statistics showed that only five per cent of crashes are caused by drivers breaking the speed limit. Drivers who let their attention wander cause more than six times as many accidents.” Driver error accounted for 66 per cent of accidents.. and add the road rage, impaired, drunk drivers, bad poorly maintained vehicles to that too .. Most reasonable and reasoning people have seen the folly of speed cameras for decades now too.

” A blatant tax on the motorist” said Cllr. Peter Greenhalgh, in charge of highways, transport and strategic planning in the town, he added

“Isn’t it better to have a road that is designed to be safe from the start, rather than sticking a camera there to catch people who may or may not be driving dangerously? We treat road safety very, very seriously but we pay about £400,000 a year to the road safety partnership – money which goes straight into the Government’s pockets.

Almost half of motorists do not think speed cameras improve road safety according to new survey results from whatcar.com.

For fatal accidents the most frequently reported contributory factor was loss of control, which was involved in 35 per cent of road deaths. Failure to look properly was the most frequently reported contributory factor and was involved in 32 per cent of all injury accidents. Five of the six most frequently reported contributory factors were some kind of driver or rider error or reaction.

The money hungry Conservatives in Alberta, the Calgary and the Edmonton Police forces  and the Liberals in Ontario they can all learn from this

A study of the figures in the British Medical Journal showed a  gap between police and hospital data  showed a wide divergence in these figures   said one of the authors of the article, Mike Gill, professor of public health at Surrey University. The Police are known  to lie, and  they try to please their political bosses , to get a raise by generating revenue from traffic tickets.

The survey of the Canadian vital statistics database, made up of information from death certificates, shows that 97,964 people were killed in motor vehicle accidents during the past quarter-century. However, the annual number of deaths dropped 52 per cent to 2,875 in 2004 from 5,933 in 1979.

Nearly three-quarters of those killed in these accidents were male, and motorists at either end of the age spectrum had higher-than-average death rates.

Pedestrians accounted for 12 per cent of motor vehicle deaths, followed by motorcyclists and drivers of all-terrain and other off-road vehicles.

Elderly pedestrians were also found to be more than three times likelier than the general population to be killed in motor vehicle accidents. The study does not explain why.

Rural roads proved particularly treacherous for drivers. Sixty-two per cent of fatal collisions in 2004 took place in rural areas.

Yukon had the highest death rate at 16.4 deaths per 100,000 people. Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario were the only two provinces and territories reporting a death rate lower than the national average of nine for every 100,000 people.

The study notes that while death rates have fallen, the ubiquitous use of cell phones and BlackBerrys while driving pose a danger to drivers.
