Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name

Psalm 29:1  A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2  Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4  The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5  The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6  He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7  The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8  The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9  The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10  The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11  The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Psalm 30:1  A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2  O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3  O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4  Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6  And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7  LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8  I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
9  What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10  Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
11  Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12  To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

The prayer of the rigtheous

Psalm 25:14 KJV  The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.  15  Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. 16  Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. 17  The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. 18  Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. 19  Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. 20  O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. 21  Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22  Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

(Psalm 26:1 KJV)    A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. 2  Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.  3  For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. 4  I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. 5  I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and will not sit with the wicked. 6  I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: 7  That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. 8  LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. 9  Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: 10  In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. 11  But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. 12  My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

(Psalm 27:1 KJV)  A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4  One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6  And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. 7  Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8  When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. 9  Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10  When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. 11  Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12  Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. 13  I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

The person Who trusts God

The person Who trusts God in all things shall be blessed in all things

GOD IS FAITHFUL,

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.
His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning.
Great is thy faithfulness.”

(Lamentations 3:22-23 RSV)

(Psalm 100:5 KJV)  For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging” (Psalm 46:1-3).

“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20). “

“Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you'” (Hebrews 13:5).

The dictionary defines “faithful” as “true or trustworthy in the performance of duty, the fulfillment of promises or obligations, etc; constant”, and as “worthy of belief or or confidence”. In the Old Testament, ‘emunah, Strong’s # 530, means firmness, security, steadiness. In the New Testament, pistis Strong’ #4102, means both faith and faithfulness. It means to believe, and to be worthy of belief.

(Heb 13:8 KJV)  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

“I the Lord do not change.” (Malachi 3:6).

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God” (Psalm 90:1-2).

“The word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8).

Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

“The plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations” (Psalm 33:11).

(2 Pet 1:3 KJV)  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: :4   Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19).

(Heb 6:18 KJV)   in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

There are thousands of God’s promises in the Bible. Learn to  appropriate them, to stand on them,  because God is faithful! There are no broken promises from God. He God   who is ALWAYS faithful, true to his character, we can always trust him, rely on him, depend on him totally and without reservation. He will do what he says. God will keep all of his promises as well towards us, and look after us, keep us in the right path, in the faith, always will   protect us too.

GOD remained faithful to the calling he had for the prophet  Jonah even while Jonah next was trying to escape the responsibilities that He God  had given him. Jonah still ended up fulfilling his mission.  Jonah was given great gifts from GOD for his calling as well.

No matter how far we stray, we’re never out of his reach. If we genuinely seek forgiveness, He accepts us back and loves us with no memory of how we may have faltered.

(1 Cor 1:9 KJV)  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

(1 Cor 10:13 KJV)  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

(1 Th 5:23 KJV)  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24  )  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

(2 Th 3:3 KJV)  But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

(2 Tim 2:11 KJV)  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

(2 Tim 2:13 KJV)  If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

(Titus 1:9 KJV)  Holding fast the faithful word

(Titus 3:8 KJV)  This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

(Heb 2:17 KJV)  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

(Hebrews 10: 16  KJV)   This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18  Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21  And having an high priest over the house of God; 22  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24  And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28  He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30  For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

(Heb 11:11 KJV)  Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

(1 Pet 4:19 KJV)  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator

(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(Rev 1:5 KJV)  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

(Rev 3:14 KJV)  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Rev 19:11 KJV)  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

(Rev 21:5 KJV)  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

(Rev 22:6 KJV)  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

God promised to Abraham  in Genesis 12:2-3. .

I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.

God kept his promises to Abraham even though Abraham made a detour and want into Sarah’s handmaiden…

Not one word has failed of all the good promises [God] gave through his servant Moses” (1 Kings 8:56).

Now we may falter in our walk with GOD at times. Our faith may be shaken to it’s very foundation even. GOD doesn’t leave us then. We are never beyond His reach. God is always still holding our hand and does not let us go.

“The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin” (Exodus 34:6).

The once shepherd boy, next King  David’s unfaithfulness is his adultery with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, Uriah.  Next David is an excellent example of God’s infinite ability to forgive even the most grievous sins and to bring us back to his will for us. But a constant disregarding of God’s will next will  not to be tolerated by God but will even leave negative personal consequences on us too, as was in the case of Kind David as well

In  Daniel chapter 3. The three Hebrew youths were thrown into a fiery furnace because they had refused to worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image. The King next looked into the flames and he said , “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God” (Daniel 3:25 KVJ).

“The Lord is faithful to all his promises” (Psalm 145:13).

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:4).

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you” (Isaiah 43:2).

(Heb 4:16 KJV)  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

(1 Th 5:16 KJV)  Rejoice evermore.

(1 Th 5:17 KJV)  Pray without ceasing.

(1 Th 5:18 KJV)  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

(1 Th 5:19 KJV)  Quench not the Spirit.

(1 Th 5:20 KJV)  Despise not prophesyings.

(1 Th 5:21 KJV)  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

(1 Th 5:22 KJV)  Abstain from all appearance of evil.

(1 Th 5:23 KJV)  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(1 Th 5:24 KJV)  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4).

“I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself” (Psalm 89:1-2).

(1 Chr 16:34 KJV)  O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

(1 Chr 16:35 KJV)  And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1).

“What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?… No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:31-39).

(Eph 3:8 KJV)  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. 13  Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. 14  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21  Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
