How to study the Bible

Study the Bible

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. .

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. .

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. .

I was once in a church in between the church services and there on an empty bench was lying a well used Bible, that someone had left, as I picked up the Bible the anointing of the Spirit of God leapt out of the pages, to my surprise. I asked God what was so special about this Bible. He said to me that the person who owned it, read it applied it faithfully. I had a similarly experience when I was once passing a house on a corner where I felt the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit, and songs of praises came over me. I asked God how come and he replied ” a faithful child of mine lives in this home. Can the same be said of your own Bible and of your dwelling place? .

Make up your mind that you will put some REGULAR daily time every day into the study of the Word of God. MORNING AND EVENING It is one of the most fruitful resolutions that any Christian ever made. The Bible ought then to be studied as no other book is. It should be studied as the Word of God. .

Many people are concerned about the right way to have a Bible devotional, about the right way to study the Bible.. they get confused in the semantics and forget the most important thing firstly is to personally read the Bible, to have personal daily devotional, to personally study it just where you are even just as you are. A baby learns to eat gradually, even if it is sloppy at first it still eats. So eat your Bible daily and mature in the process. .

(Mat 4:4 KJV) But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Acts 17:10 Now the brethren at once sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea; and when they arrived, they entered the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these [Jews] were better disposed {and} more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready {and} accepted {and} welcomed the message [concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind {and} eagerness, searching {and} examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.  Many of them therefore became believers, together with not a few prominent Greeks, women as well as men.

(Mat 23:37 KJV)  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39  For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.  24:1  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple. 2  And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

.

Matt 21:42-44 “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone [Jesus Christ] which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you [Nation of Israel], and given to a nation [New Testament Church] bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”

.

Acts 4:10-12 “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

1    Do not keep silent, O God of my praise! 2    For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful Have opened against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. 3    They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause. 4    In return for my love they are my accusers, But I give myself to prayer. 5    Thus they have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love. 6    Set a wicked man over him, And let an accuser stand at his right hand. 7    When he is judged, let him be found guilty, And let his prayer become sin. 8    Let his days be few, And let another take his office. 9    Let his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow. 10    Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; Let them seek their bread also from their desolate places. 11    Let the creditor seize all that he has, And let strangers plunder his labor. 12    Let there be none to extend mercy to him, Nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children. 13    Let his posterity be cut off, And in the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14    Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15    Let them be continually before the LORD, That He may cut off the memory of them from the earth; 16    Because he did not remember to show mercy, But persecuted the poor and needy man, That he might even slay the broken in heart. 17    As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18    As he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment, So let it enter his body like water, And like oil into his bones. 19    Let it be to him like the garment which covers him, And for a belt with which he girds himself continually. 20    Let this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, And to those who speak evil against my person. 21    But You, O GOD the Lord, Deal with me for Your name’s sake; Because Your mercy is good, deliver me. 22    For I am poor and needy, And my heart is wounded within me. 23    I am gone like a shadow when it lengthens; I am shaken off like a locust. 24    My knees are weak through fasting, And my flesh is feeble from lack of fatness. 25    I also have become a reproach to them; When they look at me, they shake their heads. 26    Help me, O LORD my God! Oh, save me according to Your mercy, 27    That they may know that this is Your hand — That You, LORD, have done it! 28    Let them curse, but You bless; When they arise, let them be ashamed, But let Your servant rejoice. 29    Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle. 30    I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. 31    For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, To save him from those who condemn him.

It is undeniable that most even professing Christians do not take the time or the prayers to let the Holy Spirit teach them fully, personally the truths from the Bible. so they are all mostly in errors cause they believe the lies of the devil, the lies of mere men, and believe their own false human reasons, conclusions. If a man is to understand the word, he cannot rely on human wisdom, human wisdom is insufficient for understanding God. Thus it is still critical, essential important that each  believer studies even the Bible  with the aid of the Holy Spirit as when the flesh interprets all of scriptures. the result tends to be still mostly dead wrong,

.

It should be evident to many people that too many even Jewish persons, Messianic Jews included now too,  still do cut and paste, chose Bible verse they like and cut out , they falsely do reject the ones they do not like, misunderstand and/or try to rewrite the Bible to suit their own liking, they have re-interpret Bible verses for their own purposes, as they now are false revisionists. The supreme New Testament has replaced the Old Testament and the New Testament clarifies what is no longer applicable in the old Testament, all Judaism included.

THE PEOPLE WHO HATE THE CHRISTIANS, CATHOLICS, AND AMERICANS FALSELY SUCH  AS THE JUDAIZERS FALSELY USE THIS BOOK, THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS FOR THEIR FALSE INTERPRETATIONS.

.

Now as to the book of Revelations most decent Bible scholars say the symbols in Revelation refer to events and places familiar to its intended audience – Firstly to the first century Christians in Asia Minor. The book, itself, states that its message is directed at the first century Christians in Asia Minor, and that the events it describes would happen “soon” (Revelation 1: 1-4, 1:9-11, 22:10). Face it  next even now there is much disagreement as to the actual interpretation of this book.

.

The Old testament prophecy of Jeremiah clearly stated that the original Babylon would be destroyed, never to be inhabited again. The physical city of Babylon was originally built by Nimrod after the flood. It was located on the Euphrates River, about 55 miles south of where Baghdad, Iraq stands today. The name Babylon came from the Tower of Babel that was constructed there. Babylon became a large city of global prominence around 1728 BC during the reign of Hammurabi. The glory years of Babylon were achieved under Nebuchadnezzar II (604-562 BC). The city declined during the reign of Belshazzar, and came to ruin when Xerxes, the Persian king, destroyed it in 478 BC. Thus, Jeremiah’s prophesied destruction of Babylon was accomplished, and, just as the prophecy said, it has never been inhabited to this day

.

The city Babylon described in Revelation is Jerusalem which is called   “Mystery Babylon.”  The prophecy of Mystery Babylon is found in Revelation 17:3-5.  “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

Verse 18 of the chapter tells us that the woman is a city. “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” In verse 1, we are told that the woman sits on many waters. Verse 15 explains the meaning of the waters. “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” Not only is this woman a city, but the city is apparently the headquarters over a vast international commerce, financial, political system. The Angel’s warning was that God’s people might hear His voice saying: “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Rev. 18:4.

.

In Revelation 17:18, John sadly makes it clear that the “whore of Babylon” was the ancient capital city of Israel,Jerusalem. The Romans destroyed the city entirely in 70 AD An angel announces that the fall of Babylon is imminent, and warns the faithful to depart the city to escape the destruction. Those who have profited from their relationship with Babylon lament her passing. Do see Jesus own parallel words

.

Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Matthew 10: 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Luke 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Luke 21: 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter there into.

.

The  Bible is very clear in telling us that when the anitchist is finally revealed to the Jews and the world for what he really is, it will be in the future Jerusalem . The harlot is Jerusalem, and their international bankers and the people who represent the rulers of the city, the Pharisees, religious leaders, money changers, and modern day equivalents who rule the kings of the earth.

.

Rev. 12:3     And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Rev. 17:3     So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Rev. 13:1     And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

.

Yes it  is important to note that both the Old and New Testaments speak of a “MYSTERIOUS  AND  TERRIBLE PERSONAGE” who shall be revealed in the “Last Times.” He is called by various names.

In The Old Testament

The Assyrian.”–Isaiah 10:5-6; 30:27-33.
King of Babylon.”–Isaiah 14:4.
Lucifer.”–Isaiah 14:12.
The Little Horn.”–Daniel 7:8; 8:9-12.
A King Of Fierce Countenance.”–Dan. 8:23.
The Prince That Shall Come.”–Dan. 9:26.
The Wilful King.”–Dan. 11:36.

In The New Testament  APOSTLE PAUL’S FOREVIEW.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for ‘that Day‘ (the Day of the Lord) shall not come except there come a ‘falling away first,’ and that ‘MAN OF SIN‘ be revealed. The

who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he As God sitteth in the Temple of God (the rebuilt Temple at Jerusalem), showing himself that he is God . . . For the

MYSTERY OF INIQUITY

doth already work (in Paul’s day); only He (the Holy Spirit) who now letteth (restraineth R. V.) will let (restrain), until He be taken out of the way. And then shall

THAT WICKED

be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit (breath) of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness (manifestation R. V.) of His Coming. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signsand lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth (Christ) that they might be saved.” 2. Thess. 2:3-10.

The Man Of Sin.”–2. Thess. 2:3-8.
Son Of Perdition.”–2. Thess. 2:3-8.
That Wicked.”–2. Thess. 2:3-8.

ALSO
Antichrist.”–1. John 2:18.
The Beast.”–Rev. 13:1-2.

Jesus also made a prophetic reference to him. “I am come in my Father’s Name, and ye receive me not; if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43.

.

BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The harlot is Jerusalem, with their international bankers and the people who represent the rulers of the city, the Pharisees, religious leaders, money changers, and modern day equivalents who rule the kings of the earth.  The Dragon is a symbol of the Money Power, nations under it’s influence..There undeniably still now are many Jewish  financial groups that hold very much power over certain nations and their population. So what groups, nations are these… what Vatican Bankers are also Jewish?

.

Index of  the proofs:
1. Jerusalem rules the nations through lending money.
2. Jerusalem kills the prophets and saints.
3. Jerusalem is the “great city” where Jesus was killed.
4. Jerusalem sits on 7 mountains.
5. Jerusalem is described as a whore in the Bible.
6. Jerusalem’s priests wore purple, red, precious stones, and gold.
7. Jerusalem drinks the cup of wrath.
8. Jerusalem’s lovers, the kings of the earth, turn on her to destroy her.
9. Jerusalem is called “Babylon” by Peter in 1 Peter 5:13

.

Ezekiel 16:33 describes how Jerusalem plays the harlot, oddly enough, by giving money to her lovers, which is “contrary” to how other women commit whoredoms:

Eze 16:31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

Eze 16:32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

Eze 16:33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.

Eze 16:34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.

Does the fact that the woman lends money to the nations prove that she rules them? Yes! Deuteronomy 15:6 clearly shows that by lending money, she rules the nations. Further proof that the lender rules over the borrower.

Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

.

Babylon, as a name for Jerusalem, is not unlike the comparison to other cities, such as as Sodom, Egypt, and Gomorrah; “spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt” Rev 11:8. (Isaiah 1:10; Jer. 23:14, Ezek. 16:44-56 all compare Jerusalem to Sodom. (also, Jesus in various NT scriptures, compared various Isralite cities to Sodom and Gomorrah by comparing judgment), Luke 10:12, Mark 6:11, Matthew 11:23-24, Matthew 10:15.)

.

Babylon also is described as being the fountain of rebellion against God and God’s Word which has spread throughout the whole world. Babylon also represents the Israel today that despises, rejects, and mocks Jesus and His Words.

.

On a Bible doctrinal basis, both the Jews and Arabs have one more thing in common (besides eschewing pork,  PRACTICING  AN  EYE  FOR  AN  EYE ): Both their religions also do deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he  God came in the flesh in the person of the Lord Jesus. Israel claims Jerusalem as its eternal capital. The Palestinians and the Arab world also do claim Jerusalem too. So did the Catholics.

.

“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:3 KJV)

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 John 1:7 KJV)

And based on the authority of the Scriptures, both the mainline Jewish and Islamic faiths of today (and all other world religions and apostate “Christian” cults and sects who deny the physical resurrection of Jesus and His Deity) are all under that spirit of antichrist.

.

Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

.
Israel is described as a harlot in many texts of the Hebrew Scriptures: Isa. 1:21, Ezek 16, 23, Isaiah 57, Jeremiah 2-3 and Hosea 2

.

Isaiah 47 is a striking parallel passage, with 3 key elements repeated: She calls herself a queen, not a widow, and will see her destruction in one day.

Isaiah 47:7 You said, ‘I will continue forever— the eternal queen! ‘ But you did not consider these things or reflect on what might happen. 8 “Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, ‘I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.’ 9 Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells.

Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

.

In that day Jerusalem will be a “great city” in this present evil world and a global center of religious worship, commerce and political power. It will be a corrupt place where religious authorities (much like the Pharisees and Sanhedrin of olden days) rule over and suppress the poor and persecute the truly righteous.

.

The woman is wearing red and purple, with a cup of gold in hand. The Israelite priests wear red and purple, and used cups of gold in the temple worship.

.

Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

God commanded that the priests’ vestments be made with purple and scarlet yarn (Ex. 28:4-8, 15, 33, 39:1-8, 24, 29).

Exodus 25:29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

Dan 5:2 Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.

Dan 5:3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them

.

And once again the sins of Jerusalem and the world will cause the Lord God to rise up and send prophets to Jerusalem, preaching repentance and that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand; the very same message of John the Baptist and Elijah (see Matthew 17:10-11 & Mark 9:11-12). Two of those coming prophets are killed by the rulers of the city:

.

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” (Revelation 11:8 KJV)

.

The Jerusalem of the future, in this present evil world system, is likened unto Sodom and Egypt, which tells you of the level of depravity and hardship being endured in the great city at that future time.

.

In Old Testament prophecy, cities like Jerusalem are spoken of as women, and usually in less than flattering terms when the Lord God is angry with them:

.

“Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.” (Lamentations 1:17 KJV)

.

Yes, Rome is a city that sits on seven hills, but so does the cities of Istanbul, Turkey (formerly Constantinople) and Jerusalem (and for that matter, so does Cincinnati, Ohio). HOWEVER, Jerusalem is specifically referred to as the “great city” in the book of Revelation, not Rome..

.

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” (Revelation 11:8 KJV)

…and is proclaimed by the Scriptures to be the true whore of Babylon:

“And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” (Revelation 16:19 KJV)

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Revelation 17:5 KJV)

.

The Bible tells us that Jerusalem, not Rome, is the true “whore” of Revelation. In the future Jerusalem, the City of Peace will be the city of a great false peace. It will be a center of power much like ancient Babylon and will once again go a whoring as she did so many times in Old Testament days. At this future time Israel will have abandoned its current democratic form of government and will once again be a theocratic monarchy, ruled by kings and ruling with the kings of the earth. Now, I know that you may find this to be shocking and hard to believe. After all, we all think of Jerusalem as the heart of the holy land and the place where the Lord Jesus Christ will someday reign (and He will), but not before He avenges Himself on the city that rejected the Lamb of God and nailed Him to a tree outside the city walls.

.

How do we know for sure that Jerusalem is the “woman” spoken of? Consider this undeniable truth: In the Bible God says that Babylon, the mother of harlots, is responsible for shedding specific holy blood:

.

“And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” (Revelation 18:24 KJV)

And the only city on the face of the Earth that meets those criteria, according to the Bible, is the city of Jerusalem:

“Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.” (Luke 13:33 KJV)

.

And that is the verse of Scripture that nails the woman’s identity. Jesus Himself said this. And Jesus, who was also a prophet, was slain at Jerusalem. In fact, search your Bible and you will find that EVERY true prophet of the Lord God who perished did so at Jerusalem.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! (Luke 13:34 KJV)

.

The Pharisees of Jerusalem killed Stephen who was the first of “the martyrs of Jesus”. Any other interpretation of who the woman is, if it does not include the Jewish religious leaders in the time of Jesus, including the Jewish religious leaders who killed the Old Testament prophets (Rev 18:24), is therefore incorrect.

Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Stephen, the first Christian martyr, fingers the council at Jerusalem as the murderers of the prophets, and they were so angry they killed Stephen, too:

Act 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Jesus speaks harsh words to the leaders of Jerusalem, saying they are worse than harlots, and also says that “Jeursalem kills the prophets”:

Mat 21:31 “…Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Mat 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Mat 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Luk 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

Luk 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Luk 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Luk 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The woman also drinks the cup of wrath.

Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Isai 51:17 Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the Lord’s hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

The kings of the earth (the horns of the beast) (Rev 17:12), who the woman rules (Rev 17:18), will turn on the woman and destroy her. Ezekiel, in chapter 16, and Jeremiah chapter 4, say the same thing about Jerusalem and Israel.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Eze 16:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Eze 16:2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, …

Eze 16:37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

Eze 16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.

Eze 16:39 And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.

Eze 16:40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.

Eze 16:41 And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

Jer 4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. …

Jer 4:30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

Jer 4:31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

.

Apostle Peter uses the word “Babylon” to describe Jerusalem, where he lived, in a greeting at the end of his first epistle.

1 Peter 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

.
Peter was in Jerusalem, writing from Jerusalem, living with his son Marcus in Jerusalem, not Babylon.

.
Galatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

At the time Peter wrote 1 Peter, the literal city of Old Babylon was in ruins, and uninhabited. Therefore, “babylon” was a name for Jerusalem.

.

The desolation of the harlot:
When will the ten kings of the earth (the horns of the beast) turn on the woman and destroy her? (Rev 17:16). These ten kings are of the eighth beast which is destroyed by Jesus. This eighth beast reigns for the final half of the 7 year tribulation; 42 months, or 3.5 years, or “time, times and half a time.”

.

Rev 17:13 These [ten kings] have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

.

Thus, the ten kings will turn on the woman at the time they come to power to give their power to the beast, right at the middle of the tribulation, to set up that kingdom of the antiichrist.

,
Also, as is indicated in Daniel 9:27, the antichrist breaks the covenant (with Israel), leaving her desolate, in the middle of the tribulation.

.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

.

Isaiah describes the covenant with the antiichrist as a covenant with “death” or “hell”, and identifies who makes this covenant, which is Israel, or the Jewish leaders who make the treaty in the time of the end, who are the great harlot.

Isaiah 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

.
The antichrist, or beast, in the last 3.5 years of the tribulation, goes about setting up his own religious system of worship, the worship of himself as God.

.
2 Thess 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Many commentaries take great pains to say that the woman of Rev 12 is not the same as the woman of Rev 17-18. Yet, both are identified with Israel. The woman in Revelation 12 is the faithful Christians, of the New Israel. The Whore of Babylon is not Rome, which persecuted the Catholic Church, but instead is the apostate, worldly Jerusalem which has still rejected the Messiah and persecutes the early and present Christians.

.

A false, mostly Jewish view is that the whore is “Apostate Christianity” in general, including the Catholic Church. That’s a very large number of people considering that there are over 1 Billion professing Christians on the planet. Now this view is wrong because Apostate Christianity does not meet all the stated criteria in the Book of Revelation, Book of Daniel, and it does not at all control the kings of the earth; and certainly not through lending money to them but the Jews undeniably do.

.

Is America Mystery Babylon the Great? Is America, the present most dominant and influential nation of the end times, is really not found in Bible prophecy and does not meet all the stated criteria in the Book of Revelation, Book of Daniel, and it does not at all control the kings of the earth; and certainly not through lending money to them but the Jews undeniably do.  https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2014/01/02/in-end-time-prophecies-america-is-not-specifically-named/

.

It is also my prayer that you will prayerfully under the direction, teaching of the Holy Spirit search the Scriptures, and rightly-divide them, to see all of what things are true and honest.

.

The New Heaven and the New Earth John sees a new heaven and earth; the old order is no more. A new holy city, the new Jerusalem, comes down from heaven. God will now dwell among people. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” (NRSV)

.
With evil destroyed and the earth purified, God will now dwell among the faithful whose names are written in the book of life.

.

The New Jerusalem The new holy city is described in all its splendor. There is no need for a temple because God and Christ will be there. All the effects of sin have been erased from earth. The new state of the earth is a paradise like the Garden of Eden, and God will dwell among the people.

The Kingdom of Heaven is God’s True Israel

walk-in-faith-now-3

“The Apostle Peter taught that Christians, the entire body of Christ, are now God’s chosen people. “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were no people but now you are God’s people; once you have not received mercy but now you have received mercy.”

(1 Peter 2:9, RSV.)

Many devoted Christians hope the end of these “last days” is near. Seeking signs to prove Jesus’ physical return is imminent, their attention has been fixed upon the Republic of Israel since its founding on May 14, 1948, when this new Israeli state brought to an end nearly 2,000 years of Jewish statelessness. A new look at Old Testament prophecy has resulted.

The hasty conclusion that twentieth century Israel is a restoration of Old Testament covenanted Israel is causing many Christians to watch Middle Eastern political events and speculate on their end-time meanings. Too many quickly forget the major Old Testament prophets foresaw a “New Covenant” and not the restoration of the “Old Covenant” (Jeremiah 31:31 ff.)

Renewed emphasis on the Old Testament and some of its prophetic books has resulted in large scale neglect of New Covenant theology. Old Testament study about the vanished covenanted Israel has replaced New Testament teachings about God’s true Israel. Incorrectly equating the new Israeli republic with the Old Testament Israel is the result.

This has brought a return of the Jewish heresy which plagued Paul’s ministry and the early church. That heresy teaches that Jews are, in some way, more important to God than any other people. The idea of Jewish “chosen-ness” even after Jesus implies that the Old Covenant, or parts of it, is still in effect.  Strange new teachings abound that belittle the Gospel by contemptuously calling it “Replacement Theology.”

Emphasizing Old Testament teachings of the Jew’s spiritual exclusiveness and superiority in God’s eyes misses how the New Covenant, reported in the New Testament, changed that doctrine. The natural byproduct of BC doctrines is that today’s Israeli state is felt to be the same as BC Israel. Articulate teachers press this belief from every direction by every media.

Strong emotions stemming from end-time hopes can numb theological logic which should be warning that something is amiss. Everyone should be asking: “If Jews are so special to God, and Israel, because of the Jews, is the most important place on earth, what’s with being a Christian? What happened to the Christian’s first place with God?”

Clear reasoning should tell us that current Jewish/Israel/Zionist teachings relegate Christians to second class citizenship in God’s plan of action!

Logic shows that such Zionist theories yield two covenants, with the old one of the Jews having priority to the New Covenant of Jesus.  That implies the New Testament is a fraud – which is what Jews assert. Two covenants can’t be if we are to read and believe the New Testament.

The Christian message is about only one covenant, the one Jesus brought with His blood on the cross. If Jesus’ Covenant is the one and only, then any teaching contrary to that is heretical. Christians do not accept two covenants, one of faith and the other of race.  Jews do not accept Jesus’ Covenant of freely given faith and grace.  Jews, in our times, insist non-Jews, are outside of God’s favor and are “Goyim “- heretics – who can never be “chosen” people of God for lacking a Jewish mother.

This is a real problem in our times – too many people teaching too many end-time theories, all starting from the existence of the Israeli state. Using the prophetic books of the Old Testament, while ignoring the New Testament message, yields incorrect conclusions.

From this overabundance of speculative prophecy, soothsaying and much pure fiction, comes many contradictions. Resulting confusion, debate, and division within the body of Christ dampens our love for one another. Because of these differences, we experience an erosion of our peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In short, we are arguing about unproven nonessentials when we should be sharing love and agreeing on New Covenant essentials. Our calling is to be peacemakers, not debaters.

Being an imitator of Christ is different than being a commentator on the implications of international political and economic events. Christians are required to be experts on the words of Jesus rather than those of some soon-to-pass prognosticator who promotes peculiar prophecies.

Too often we are found studying the latest paperback book’s opinions on the meaning of the most recent event in the Middle East, instead of using our time to study the words of Jesus, the “red letters” of the New Testament.

Granting the importance of Jesus’ return, how do we study about it? How do we find the truth about our continuing hope for his final coming? We must commit ourselves to finding the truth, in spite of our fondest hopes and most pleasing opinions. Truth, regardless of its comfort, or lack of it, must be our primary goal. God requires truthfulness from us. This requirement directs us in a single-minded search for it, regardless of the consequences.  We cannot be guilty of passing on hear-say opinions obtained from unknown people.

To satisfy ourselves, we need to do our own search for the end-time truth. We need to know we have found the truth, and not simply blindly followed another’s untested opinions.

The primary trustworthy source of information is Jesus’ actual words. These are the red letter sayings of Jesus in the New Testament. Because He is our Teacher and Master, we always look to Him first. Before accepting any spiritual teaching or opinion, we must find His words,

We must test each idea by asking, “What did Jesus say?” When we look to His words we usually find the answer we need with little difficulty.

Measuring all ideas against Jesus’ words gives us a foundation of understanding to which we can add more information from history. So, the source of historical records, for a Christian, is first the Bible and then secular records.

In studying the Bible, Christians place primary importance on the New Testament, so we study it in an orderly way: Jesus’ words first, then the balance of the New Testament in the order in which it is preserved, and finally the Old Testament in its preserved order. This prevents our taking scripture out of context with resulting invented doctrines, too often contrary to God’s order of thought and transmission.

Last, we look to reliable secular historical records about our religion. These records are important because they give information on events which occurred after the Bible was completed. Studying all such available records, after the Bible, usually reveals full historical truth.

To find the truth about God’s true Israel and its relation to the end-time, we must apply this test and search all these sources.

History’s record testifies that before the formation of the twentieth century Israeli state, all Christian theology taught that God’s new Israel was the spiritual Kingdom of God, neither worldly nor political.  History also proves that all end time prophecies during the past 2,000 years have been wrong – except Jesus’ predictions of the fall of Jerusalem and the Temple, his resurrection, his spiritual return to Earth, and the coming of the Holy Spirit to make Christians “temples” to replace the destroyed Temple in Jerusalem.

Before the cross, Israel was both a political and a spiritual kingdom in a geographical location. After the cross it became God’s spiritual kingdom, not a worldly place or power (John 18:36), with all believers in Christ as citizens. Simply, it was not a place but a spiritual condition. It was the condition of being born again through belief in Jesus.

Martin Luther explained this traditional view in his classic commentary on Paul’s letter to the Galatians. Discussing Galatians 6:16, Luther wrote the following passage.

“When Paul adds: ‘And upon the Israel of God,’ he touches the false apostles and the Jews who gloried and bragged that they were the people of God, that they had the law and the promises. So it is as if Paul said: ‘They are the Israel of God, those with faithful Abraham who believe in the promises of God offered in Christ, whether they be Jews or Gentiles, and not they which are the begotten of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob after the flesh.’ But this entire matter was handled before in the third chapter.” (See Galatians 3:7 ff, especially 3:26-29.)

Without question, Jesus said His kingdom of the New Covenant was not a worldly or political entity. In the red letters of John 18:36 (RSV) Jesus explained, “My kingship is not of this world; if my kingship was of this world, my servants would fight, that I might not be handed over to the Jews.”

Next, it is clear that entry into God’s kingdom does not come through a blood relationship to Abraham, but through faith in Jesus. Checking Jesus’ words again, we see He said the Jews were satanic and not children of Abraham.

The record of this is Jesus’ statement, “If you were Abraham’s children you would do what Abraham did, but now you seek to kill me… You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires.” (John 8:31-57, esp. 39-44 RSV.)

Paul, himself a Jew, fully knew the Jewish misunderstanding about salvation through race rather than through faith. He gave us the famous Galatians chapter three explanation, secured by verses 26-29. (RSV.)

“For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one n Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.”

This shows that the Old Covenant, with Jews the covenanted people, was replaced by the New Covenant of faith through Jesus Christ. The new holy nation (Kingdom of God; Kingdom of Heaven) is made up of all who are one in Christ. Spiritual Israel has replaced the earlier worldly Israel since the cross and Jesus’ resurrection.  When Jesus died on the cross, the old Covenant died with him (Matthew 27:50,51). When he arose, the new covenant arose with him.

The theology of this change is more formally explained in Hebrews, chapters seven through ten, (especially 8:6,7,13 and 10:9,10). Replacement of the Old Covenant means that with Jesus, God abolishes the first covenant to establish the second or New Covenant.  (Hebrews 8:7 & 13.)

Clearly, there is only one covenant, the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. Since the Old Covenant is gone, vanished away, there are no covenantalpromises or prophesies remaining in it for the Jews and a Jewish Israel. These now belong to the new Israel of God by faith.

The impossibility of two covenants, one Christian and one for Jews, is obvious. Jesus said He is the way, and no one can come to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). This excluded a Jewish covenant given through race with promises and prophecies that substitutes for Jesus’ covenant.

To do an overkill on this point, we may review the fourth chapter of Romans and the second chapter of Peter’s first letter.

In the Roman letter Paul assures us, in the promise to Abraham and all his descendants, that they should inherit the world, did not come through the law but through the “righteousness of faith.” (Romans 4:13, RSV.)

The Apostle Peter taught the True Israel truth in another way. Christians, the entire body of Christ, are now God’s chosen people. “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood a holy nation, God’s own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were no people but now you are God’s people; once you have not received mercy but now you have received mercy.” (I Peter 2:9, RSV.)

The conclusion is that Christians, the Body of Christ, are now God’s holy nation, the true Israel under the Gospel, since Jesus’ salvation. Christians are the inheritors of Abraham’s promises through faith in Christ The old Israel and the Old Covenant to the Jews ceased and vanished. That covenant ended when Jesus died on the cross. Promises and prophesies to BC Israel now belong totally to those under the New Covenant. Those closed for Israel of the Jews on the first Easter Sunday.

Christian faith is in the shed blood of Jesus purchasing our New Covenant with God at his cross. By grace, both Jew and non-Jew can come into the new Israel of God through faith, not by race or by works.

Heresy is to teach that a Jew, by virtue of his race (flesh), is still a chosen one of God through the Old Covenant. The same heresy claims that a collection of Jews (even agnostics, atheists, and secularists) who inhabit the political Israeli state is still a chosen people under the Old Covenant, receiving the promises and prophesies of that covenant just because they are born Jews and live in a nation calling itself “Israel.”

Also countering this heresy is the historical disproof of claims about the Israeli republic. Contemporary Israel is NOT the first Jewish state since the Old Testament prophecies were written, it is the third.

All end-time prophecies arising out of the Israeli state in relation to events in the Middle East rest on a common mistake. That mistake is the belief that the 1948 restoration of Israel is the first and only restoration since the Old Testament times. This is taught by all speculative end-time prophets, who believed restoration has not occurred before and that it signifies something very unique.

History contradicts this belief. The fact is that there were two independent Israeli monarchies, with temples, in the inter-testament period between the Old and New Testament writings. Contemporary Israel is outside the Torah because is not a monarchy and does not have the necessary Temple.

The first kingdom was reestablished after the Maccabean revolt occurring about 152 BC.  Israel won its independence from the Seleucids, a “tribe” (nation) from the north (Syria) in that year after a long and bloody struggle.

Jewish patriots recaptured and cleansed the temple, an event commemorated by the ‘Festival of Lights’. The restored monarchy, known as the Hasmonaean Dynasty, gave a period of peace and prosperity from 152-65 BC It had a fully restored priesthood, and temple worship, according to the law. The monarchy ended in civil war, with two Hasmonaean heirs struggling for the throne.

Roman interest in the area began about 65 BC Herod the Great neutralized Roman influence through diplomacy and entered the conflict as a third contender for the throne. He won the civil war in 37 BC and became king.  This was the second kingdom.

Herod’s reign began with independence from Rome, even though Israel later became a puppet state by his death in 4 AD. That later servitude of Israel obscures the fact that Herod was first independent. Thus, in the beginning under Herod’s rule, Israel was allied with, but not subject to, Roman rule. Therefore, Herod’s independent monarchy was the second time Israel was an independent nation between the close of the Old Testament and 1948.

Lacking the Temple, the ark, a priestly hierarchy, regular blood sacrifices, and the annual Day of Atonement, modern Israel lacks what the Torah requires. Israel lost all of these religious necessities in 70 AD, when Titus’ Roman troops sacked Jerusalem. Modern Israel can not become Old Testament, covenanted, Israel unless the religious requirements of the law are met. Since it has not, and cannot,  met those requirements, it is not Biblical Israel and is not a beneficiary of Old Testament prophecies and promises.  In fact, Old Covenant (Torah) Judaism does not exist.  It has vanished and is replaced by the New Covenant as Jeremiah prophesied. (Jeremiah 31:31-34)

Any restoration of covenanted Israel would subvert Jesus’ exclusive New Covenant. Israel can never be in a Torah relationship with God, and under His anointment, without blood atonement. It cannot have atonement without blood sacrifices. It cannot have blood sacrifices without its temple and priests, using the prescribed religious artifacts which remain lost and unrecoverable.

A restoration of ancient Israel’s Torah religion would necessarily be a competitor religion to Christianity in the same way Islam, Hinduism, and other Pagan religions based on works contradict Jesus’ New Covenant that is based on faith. and freely  given grace.  It would deny and replace Jesus and his Gospel.

The new Israel, God’s true Israel, a holy nation, is in fact the fellowship of true followers of Jesus, where ever they are. This body of Christ, the whole collection of Christians, received atonement through the one final sacrifice of Jesus’ shed blood on the cross. Jesus remains the high priest, the only mediator between man and God.

Through Jesus’ final work, anyone can become a temple by receiving the Holy Spirit. Our body, not a building, becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit through the baptism given by Jesus’ sacrificial blood and free grace. This is the New Covenant which replaces that vanished Old Covenant.  It is the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven.

Consequently, all claims that the Republic of Israel is a restoration of Old Testament Israel fail. Israel is not Torah Israel since it is neither a monarchy nor does it have a functioning temple. It is not spiritual Israel because the body of Christ is God’s true spiritual Israel. Finally, it is the third restoration, and not the first as is mistakenly asserted.

Since the Israeli state is not Biblical Israel, all speculations and conclusions from Middle East events have no end-time significance. Any concept which starts in error also ends in error. A bad tree cannot yield good fruit, according to Jesus. (Matthew 7:18.)

Knowing we cannot rest our end-time hopes on the Israeli state and the political events of the Middle East, we must find a surer barometer. In our hope for the “soon” coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, we want to know the signs to be inspected.

The directions which we can follow are simple and easy to find in the New Testament. We need only search the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles on this subject. We do not search the Old Covenant prophets.

First, we look to Jesus. What did He say? He never bothered to speak on His second coming until directly questioned about it. When asked, He answered fully in the twenty-fourth chapter of Matthew. He said there must be catastrophic climatic and political tribulations before He comes. But,even before that, all nations must be made disciples of Jesus by the preaching and teaching of His Gospel. (Matthew 28:18-20, esp. 28:19; also Mark 13:3-36, and Luke 21:7:36.)

Paul helped to clarify end-time signs by writing to the Thessalonians. There he said Jesus would not come again until the “son of perdition . . . takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God”. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, esp. 3 & 4, RSV.) Since there is no temple in Jerusalem, this event is not in sight.

A more complete list of “the things which shall be” is written in John’s Revelation 4:1-22:5. Few can agree on the exact meanings of these complex allegories. More debate is expended on Revelation than any other scripture. Debate and divisiveness are unnecessary regardless of interpretations. The meaning of Revelation is unknown and no two people have ever agreed on it.  Its purpose is totally misunderstood.  (See http://www.revelation-101.org/)

We can always go back to the basic Source for understanding. What did Jesus say? What did He command us to do for Him before the end can come?

“Go therefore and make disciples (matheteuo) of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and Lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28:19 RSV, and NKJV, Strong, Vines, Dakes, etc.)

We have our work cut out for us if we want to see Jesus come in the flesh anytime soon. At least half of the world’s population has not even heard Jesus’ name, much less been converted and discipled. We will never fulfill this commandment while debating and speculating on Middle East events.

What shall we do? What is our next move? What would Jesus have us do? More speculation and debate or more Jesus?

We might start by thinking how we might convince 1.2 billion Muslims, 1 billion Hindus, 1+ billion Pagans following other spiritual concepts, the innumerable agnostics, Jews, and lost “System Christians”  to God’s True Israel.   What ideas can you offer?

It appears that in the 2,000 years since Jesus sacrifice, of the 6.4 inhabitants of Earth only 400, 000,000 are in God’s True Israel.  The score is 6 billion out of the Kingdom, 400 million in it. What can be done to change that?

Then pray to be entered into the Kingdom of Heaven.

“Father, help me trust you with my life, and receive Jesus’ Holy Spirit baptism.   I ask you take over my life, be my guide and protector.  Help me totally trust you for all my needs.  Put into my mind and heart your Holy Spirit.  Rebuild me so I can walk with you and be a blameless member of your Kingdom of Heaven, your True Israel.  Amen””

John 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? Acts 13:27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

The Jewish power grab.. every one of the Jews, Judas the Betrayer especially had falsely expected of the coming restoration of Kingdom f Israel by Jesus Christ but it never happened and never will ……. Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power .

Jesus made obsolete the Old testament, Old Covenant, old Israel and introduced the New Covenant, the new Church, the New Israel. Speaking of Christians the now chosen only.. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 Corinthians 1

Acts 26:
1 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:
2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:
3 Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.
4 My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;
5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.
8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.
11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
21 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.
22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Acts 3:12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Men of Israel, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? Acts 5:11-13 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.

.

Note the term Church is consistently used in the New Testament to describe the Assembly of Christians followers, believers…

.

Specific Words used for the Church in the New Testament

1 The Greek term ἐκκλησία, which is transliterated as “ecclesia”,  generally meant an “assembly”, but in most English translations of the New Testament is usually translated as “church”. This word is the Greek words kaleo (to call), with the prefix ek (out). Thus, the word means “the called out ones.” This term appears in two verses of the Gospel of Matthew, twenty-four verses of the Acts of the Apostles, fifty-eight verses of the Pauline Epistles (including the earliest instances of its use in relation to a Christian body), two verses of the Letter to the Hebrews, one verse of the Epistle of James, three verses of the Third Epistle of John, and nineteen verses of the Book of Revelation. In total, ἐκκλησία appears in the New Testament text 114 times, although not every instance is a technical reference to the church. In the New Testament, the term ἐκκλησία is used for local communities as well as in a universal sense to mean all believers. The Christian Church is a term solely used to refer to the whole group of people belonging to the Christian religion throughout history. And the “Church” capitalized does not refer to a building. Now the exact English word “church” does not come from ekklesia but from the word kuriakon, which means “dedicated to the Lord.” This word was commonly used to refer to a holy place or temple. Since believers have been united with Christ through spiritual baptism, they are sometimes corporately referred to as the body of Christ. (Rom. l2:4-5; 1 Cor. l2:11,13,l8,27; Col. l:l8; Eph. 5:30) The idea seems to be that the group of Christians in the world constitute the physical representation of Christ on earth. It is also a metaphor which demonstrates the interdependence of members in the church, while at the same time demonstrating their diversity from one another. (Rom. 12:4; 1 Cor. 12:14-17)

2 The Temple of God (1 Cor. 3:l6; Eph. 2:2l,22; 1 Pet. 2:5).

3 The Jerusalem From Above or The Heavenly Jerusalem (Gal. 4:26; Heb. l2:22). Both of these terms (as well as “temple”) illustrate how the Old Testament notions of outward sanctuary have been replaced with the literal dwelling of God in his people.

4 Bride of Christ or Christ’s Betrothed (Eph. 5:25-32; 2 Cor. 11:2). These titles refer to the love and loyalty existing between Christ and believers.

.
What constitutes the local church? where “. . . two or three have gathered together in my name (Jesus Christ) . . . ” (Mt. l8:20) This is Christ’s version of what is necessary to have a local church.

.

A too common approach those falsely interested in dismissing the gospel message of Jesus Christ is falsely trying to discredit personally the gospel messenger and his content and mainly reflects their more eagerness to find supposed faults than to find the truth..

.

Too many Jews falsely that Jesus was a good teacher who never claimed to be the Messiah or the Son of God. They also do lie and claim that Paul imported pagan ideas into the Jewish teaching of Jesus in order to appeal to the Gentiles and to create a new religion. Paul, they lie and say, was the false”inventor” of Christianity and a false detractor of Judaism since he had taught that the Torah was of no value.

.

Many Jews since then too falsely too have hated Apostle Paul from the start and no surprise here they tried to kill him many times.. Now one cannot claim Jesus’ teachings were distorted without first knowing what Jesus taught and few of Apostle Paul’s false detractors do even. All those who claim distortion demonstrate a lack of knowledge of Jesus ’real teachings. One need only read the first four books of the New Testament (not written by Paul) to see the invalidity of their false claims.. None of their false claims about Apostle hold up under real inquiry, and they are all unsupported by the New Testament, Real Christianity. These false Detractors most commonly ascribe Apostolic doctrines such as the deity of Jesus, the resurrection, sacramental meals and baptism to pagan origins. But if you’ll investigate the New testament , you’ll see each of these doctrines or events as being even recorded in the first four books of the New Testament, all not written by Apostle Paul. Two of the four writers there were some of Jesus’ closest associates. John the Baptist, Jesus’ forerunner, practiced baptism long before Paul was on the scene.

.

Paul described his anguish over the disbelief of many fellow Jews: I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.” (Romans 9:2,3)

When Paul left earth at the end of his earthly life he not only left over 14 local church plants, he followed Jesus Christ’s movement that would eventually spread to the extent that even the Roman Empire itself would surrender to Christianity . History was changed in dramatic fashion through this one man’s obedience. as well. http://jesussayscome.wordpress.com/2014/11/17/son-of-man-is-a-title-that-jesus-used-of-himself/

God’s has preserved the Old Testament scriptures that they might never be lost. He did do this  also for the Jews’ sake ,  as the Jewish scriptures are able to make the Jewish people“wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus”(1Tm 3:15-17).

.

Psalms 48:1-2 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Hebrews 11:8-10 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

MANY JEWS, EVEN MESSIANIC JEWS LIE ABOUT CHRISTIANITY

God does not bless an ungodly nation like Israel

old- jerusalem

God will no longer bless an ungodly nation like Israel

James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

They Israel rather have refused to show mercy, and Justice and have a continual history of their departure from God and his ways. Israel’s sad history is the consequence of peoples’ faithlessness to God. Because God is holy and righteous, what He proclaimed to do against the heathen in the first chapter of Amos, He will also do to Israel—a people who had forsaken their covenant with Him. Jerusalem, symbolizing all the tribes of Israel, will receive double for her sins because of her privileged position under the covenant (Isaiah 40:2). Amos warns ancient Israel and her modern descendants, however, that no nation is so great that it can stand without God. He makes and unmakes nations (II Chronicles 20:6; Daniel 4:17; Acts 17:26). Their rise or fall is largely dependent upon His purpose for them and their significance in prophecy (e.g. Jeremiah 12:14-17; 25:15-32). If their moral and ethical foundation has eroded, the natural process of strong nations displacing weaker ones will take place (Leviticus 18:28; 20:22). It is this process that God often uses to punish His people for apostasy and immorality.

Jeremiah 5:2 ” And although they say, ‘As the LORD lives,’ Surely they swear falsely.” 3 O LORD, do not Your eyes look for truth? You have smitten them, But they did not weaken; You have consumed them, But they refused to take correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to repent. 4 Then I said, “They are only the poor, They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the LORD Or the ordinance of their God

Leviticus 26:23 “‘If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me,

Psalm 5:10 Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you.

Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Psalm 26:4 I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites.

Psalm 73:8 They scoff, and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.

Proverbs 19:29 Penalties are prepared for mockers, and beatings for the backs of fools.

Psalm 2:12 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Hebrews 12:25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. 26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.”…

Deuteronomy 18:19 I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name.

Zechariah 7:9 “Thus has the LORD of hosts said, ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother; 10 and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.’

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Jeremiah 21:12 This is what the LORD says to you, house of David: “‘Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done– burn with no one to quench it.

Leviticus 26:27 Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me, 28 then I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I, even I, will punish you seven times for your sins.

Zephaniah 3:2 She obeys no one, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD, she does not draw near to her God.

Proverbs 21:13 Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered.

Jeremiah 7:26 But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their ancestors.’

Psalm 81: 11 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
15 The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”

James 2:13 For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

Jeremiah 7:28 Therefore say to them, ‘This is the nation that has not obeyed the LORD its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.

Jeremiah 19:15 “This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘Listen! I am going to bring on this city and all the villages around it every disaster I pronounced against them, because they were stiff-necked and would not listen to my words.'”

Daniel 9:13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.

Proverbs 27:22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding them like grain with a pestle, you will not remove their folly from them.

Matthew 13:15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

Jeremiah 44:10 To this day they have not humbled themselves or shown reverence, nor have they followed my law and the decrees I set before you and your ancestors.

Judges 2:20 So the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He said, “Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers and has not listened to My voice, 21I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died,…

Hebrews 3:12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

Jeremiah 11:10 Therefore thus says the LORD, “Behold I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them.

Romans 9:22-26 (ESV) – “What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath (Israel) prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy (Gentiles), which he has prepared beforehand for glory— 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea,

“Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.'” 26 “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’

Yes, Israel was once God’s chosen nation that the Messiah would come through and open up the way of salvation to the whole world. They were chosen to be a model nation to show the world salvation by faith vs. salvation by works, and that God’s love, favor, blessing and righteousness only comes through faith in Christ and never human merit. Romans 9 and 11 reveals this when you see that God used Israel, who first walked in blessing under the Abrahamic Covenant of faith, but then walked under curse when they went under the Law Covenant of self effort.God doesn’t love Israel any more than he loves the “Gentile” nations. We need to see that God loves all the nations of the world and his heart is for them all. When we think that Israel is first class and all the Gentile nations are second-class we don’t have the heart of God. In fact that’s racism. We should no longer make a distinction between Jew and Gentile anymore in terms of Gods chosen or Gods favored or Gods beloved, because in Christ all are Gods chosen, favored and beloved. Galatians 3:27-29 “for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

God’s heart is for all the nations of the world. His favor and love and election is now toward all the world through Christ! He is no longer choosing one nation over another or giving special privileges to one and not another. The way has been opened through Christ. God has reconciled Jews and Gentiles through Christ and brought down every wall of division. The way of peace has been opened up to every person on earth without any preference. You cannot have his heart and be racist in any way or think that one person has more chance of Gods favor because of their pedigree or even their performance. No God’s mercy is to all nations calling them in. Calling them to be reconciled to himself through faith in Christ. That is the ultimate leveler – faith in Christ. It removes all merit based on birthright or self righteous performance and says that anyone who believes can come and be saved. It’s only through Christ. He and him alone is our boast. Outside of Christ no one is acceptable, no one is righteous, no one deserves God’s favor and salvation. Do you know that the most unloving anti-Semetic thing you can say to a Jewish person is that they will be saved in the end regardless of if they have faith in Christ or not! It’s a distortion of the Word of God and changes the Gospel. It’s as bad as saying to one of you beloved family members who hates God and is a rebel against God, that is doesn’t matter, they will be saved in the end anyway even if they continue to reject Christ and don’t have faith in him. No, they need to humble themselves and let go of self righteousness and their faith in themselves. They need to receive Gods gift of righteousness through faith in Christ and be born again. The truth is, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his son Jesus Christ!” The whole world are his loved people!

Tithing

Tithing- Definition
The Tithe-  A Jewish only commandment- A tenth part of one’s annual income contributed voluntarily or due as an obligatory  tax, partially  for the support of the poor = clergy = synagogue
.
TOO MANY CHRISTIAN CHURCHES, DENOMINATIONS NOW do now differ very significantly from EACH OTHER  including the Mennonites, Brethren, Baptists, Catholics, Anglican, Presbyterian.  Some even   preach the whole or full Gospel of Jesus Christ; Jesus as Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Provider, coming King, Baptizer of the Holy Ghosts, Sanctifier, Giver of gifts too… and yet most churches still are not more spiritual over the others, mainly because the leadership has watered down the requirements of what it takes to be a Christian, a church member .. apparently you can often buy a membership by tithing, giving ten percent of your income to the local church.. https://mccainvrsobama.wordpress.com/2009/11/02/for-without-me-ye-can-do-nothing/
 .

God does not need your money, he wants all of you rather.  Apostle Paul clearly made the decision to follow Jesus alone in all that he did, living by faith now too. Paul did not preach tithing at all.  https://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/and-who-do-you-follow-jesus-or/

.

Now my God has already promised to supply all your needs by Jesus Christ already so why do you want to even tithe firstly? what are your real motives in doing so?

.

IT IS NOT YOUR TITHING THAT WILL BLESS YOU FIRSTLY BUT IT IS GOD HIMSELF.. (Prov 10:22 KJV) The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

.

(Neh 10:38 KJV) And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
.
The Biblical reality also now that only 10 percent of the collected tithe in the Old testament every three years went directly to the storehouse?
.
Also, every third year, the Israelite was required to store his tithe in his own town to feed the fatherless, aliens, and widows as required by the Lord. This was the tithe of the poor. (ma’aser ani)(Deuteronomy 14:22-29, 26:12-15) (Amos 4:4-5)
.
The tithe was also paid directly to the storehouse only every 3rd year? and the other two years the thither himself enjoyed the tithes himself by now also personally feasting on it? Did you ever hear your PAOC preacher tell you that and why not? Obviously he wanted your share of the tithe.
.
And why now have any of the today’s   pastors not even mentioned ALL OF these Biblical verses, truths too in all honesty? rather they like you to believe that then and not all of the tithes was to be given to the local church for them wrongfully to do as they want.. which was not so at all AND NOT in the Old or New Testament. Even the Apostles were accountable, transparent to the church elders in all they did.

.

Generally, mostly it is the insecure people in God, because of their still unresolved guilt,  who falsely have an emphasis on forced evangelism, and they falsely do support enforced, forced tithing, keeping the ten commandments  because they do not have enough of a relationship with God for HIM to supply all of their needs for their ministry. It should be noted that Jesus himself and  the Original apostles had never  requested tithing, and clearly they had not relied on tithing for all of their missionary endeavours. They trusted God for their leading and their needs to be met  Jesus himself and  the Original apostles financial request lay solely in helping the poor Christians. These same people generally are falsely trying to find God’s favour not by faith in Jesus Christ but falsely by their religious good efforts as they clearly still do not know what faith in God means..
.

Romans 3 : 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
.
Hebrews 11.6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

.

Pastors do you have one, one New Testament verse that confirms Tithing has been mandated for the New Testament Church by God?  I am not aware of one, If you do which one is it?

 .
Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
 .
3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
tithe
Genesis 14
20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
 .
Leviticus 27
30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.
 .
31 And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.
 .
Note:
    • The request for Tithe  money by almost all churches, denominations is merely a theft of God’s money, misuse of it, as it is not EVEN Collected or Dispensed in the Biblical Manner too
    • Malachi  itself was written to the Old Testament Priests who were stealing the tithe.
    • 1/7 of the tithe was to be given to the local poor people as well something generally not done today too.
    • Tithing to the Jerusalem Temple directly was done only once every three years   Amos 4:4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
    • Tithing is not compulsory but Voluntary   2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

    •  Tithing is only  an Old Testament concept, specifically the Mosaic law applicable only to Jews required that the Israelites give one-tenth of the produce of their land and livestock, the tithe, to support the Levitical priesthood (Leviticus 27:30-33)as well as the poor persons.
    • It is the Levites who were  to do the work at the tent of meeting and bear the responsibility for any offenses they commit against it. This was a long ordinance for the generations to come till the temple was destroyed by God. They received no inheritance among the Israelites. Instead, I gave to the Levites as their inheritance the tithes that the Israelites present as an offering to the Lord.Numbers 18:21-24
    • Note specficially the people who collected a tithe were not allowed to own any real estate, tangible property too.
    • There is no doubt that these commands of the various tithes were solely directed to the Israelites – God’s past chosen people in the ancient world. Contrary to popular opinion, the offerings were not solely used to support the Levites, who were a tribe of priests and temple workers, but they were also used to provide feasting for one’s own family and to help the poor ..
    • Note the book of Malachi in the Old Testament was written specially to the Jewish priests to stop stealing the tithe money.
    • Only a fool would not know that almost all of the false Bible verses given for the justifications for the applications of tithing today are taken out of context as well.
    • Tithing in most churches is being used as a false excuse to appropriate falsely God’s money, and to abuse it, steal it, as it is so often the case .
    • Do Christians Have to Tithe? No!  none of the Christians in the  Church are  required to tithe.
    • Tithing has never been obligatory for any non Jewish person and has never been mandated in the New Testament..
    • Jesus’ work initiated a “new covenant” — a new relationship with God that effectively replaced (or fulfilled) the sacrificial system practiced by the Israelites in the Old Testament. As Christians, we no longer use priests and other religious systems as a way to access the power of God. Instead, Jesus has become our Great High Priest (Hebrews 4:14). He has granted us access to God through His own work and sacrifice, and through His Holy Spirit.  Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.  Romans 5:1-2
    • One of the most obvious, clear evidence of a carnal, unspiritual church today is one that demands the tithing, and this is true of any evangelical , Baptist, Pentecostal churches or any of the cults, Mormons now as well.
    •  Most pastors who  do ask people to give money obviously do not just have a lack of financial transparency but also they  do not give any 1/7, any portion it to the poor people.
    • Giving is an expression of worship which is why we are told that it must be done willingly and without any enforcement, bragging, record keeping, compulsion (2 Corinthians 9:7).
    • Today, many Christians falsely donate a tithe, or ten percent of their income, to support the tangible property, maintenance  of the church, building and the pastoral support and his family needs and it is rarely used to help any local poor persons even or for  direct evangelicalism. The tithe in the Old  Testament was never used to pay for the maintenance of the temple.
    • Now it is true that  “tithing” existed and was practiced in the Old Testament  and  a  set portion of these tithes  were also to be given to the local poor persons  too. In fact at least 19 % of these Biblical commanded tithes were to be given  directly to the local poor persons.
    • Christian tithing is a misnomer because Christians are under no obligation to fulfill the command to tithe as given to the Israelites  as part of the Mosaic Law .
    • The New Testament nowhere commands, or even recommends, that Christians submit to a legalistic tithe system. Paul states that believers should set aside a portion of their income as an offering, but this is not a tithe (1 Corinthians 16:1-2), to help the local poor persons and to support the Christian workers, work.
    • Now it is true that tithing existed for the Jews only  and was practiced in the Old Testament and a set portion of these tithes were also to be given to the local poor persons too. In fact at least 19 % of these Biblical commanded tithes were to be given directly to the local poor persons. Too Many Churches today falsely do rob God by asking for just the tithe giving and next also wrongfully use it to pay the mortgage, building expenses.
    • Ministering to the saints does not mean solely religious empire building, paying of building funds, and the physical maintenance costs. You do not need a church building to practice tithing and ministering to the saints.(Deu 16:17 KJV) Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
    • God has designed the churches also should help the poor, help one another, other churches, and that can next also include any other ministries that God will, will lead you to give to now as well.. a real ministry is where someone actually looks after the good physical and spiritual welfare of the flock of God, not just in words, but with real visible , good deeds.  (Mat 7:20 KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Mat 7:21 KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

.

Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. Galatians 2:10

.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

.

Read the Bible and stop listening to the lies, distortions of mere men still.  Most people still have personally never even firstly had studied, read what the Bible actually says on Tithing nor have they been taught by the Holy Spirit firstly, not even many preachers.. They are mere parrots reciting what others have told them too often rather.. Desiring to be teachers they know nothing about what they still write even.. Anyone obviously can preach but obviously are  not even led by the Holy Spirit.. most are pretenders, imposters it seems.. and since when is a Jewish commandment applicable now for any Christians, and what other Jewish commandments do you falsely also follow.  https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2014/01/03/what-the-bible-actually-says-on-tithing/

How would the churches, pastors and their families sustain themselves if it weren’t for the tithing ? Start to live by faith in God to provide and get Love offerings.. as a pastor of a small church I never once took an offering or asked for donations..“The Bible clearly says we are to help the local poor people in our own churches, neighborhood willingly. 1 Tim 5:8 “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” 2 Cor 9:7 “Every man according as he purposed in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.” (Rom 15:26 KJV) For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. Our responsibility is mainly two fold we donate freely as we want firstly to the local poor Christian persons in our own local churches… and secondly we need to insure that the donations is entrusted for distribution directly to the reliable persons, so that it actually reaches the poor persons.. (1 Cor 4:2 KJV) “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. “ Since we all do know the temptation to steal abounds even in the Church, religious organizations. It still seems most of the donated money never reaches the destinations still. There is still the obligation of all poor persons to pray in faith to directly for their needs and to expect God to meet their needs and not man.  It was interesting that Rev George Mueller was able to raise millions of dollars by donation, without once sharing the need publicly too.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the  doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus  Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the  simple.” -Romans 16:17-18 KJV    “But in vain do they worship me, teaching as their teachings commandments of men. For, leaving the commandment of God, ye hold what is delivered by men to keep”, Mark 7: 7-8. Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. (1 Tim 1:7 KJV)  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (Heb 5:12 KJV)

The false Brethren wresting of Holy Scriptures to support a line of teaching contrary to the actual written word of God is still also unacceptable. The Brethren oft repeated assertion that the present voice of the Holy Spirit is located in the utterance of men is an affront to the Holy Spirit http://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/09/19/the-false-demotion-of-the-holy-spirt-jesus-2/

I have absolutely no doubt that many Canadian, American evangelical pastors included now steal, are falsely lying, unacceptably misrepresenting the Biblical truth, EVEN FALSELY STILL pressurizing, twisting the arms of members and adherents to regularly tithe to their storehouse, to the Pastor’s benefit, so the pastor can live high on the hog now.

(1 Thess 2:2 KJV) But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. 3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness: 6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:

Romans 2
17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

Romans 3
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Psalm 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.   https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2009/05/28/the-not-so-secret/

Me I am an old Christian and now I know my Bible personally better so I do not accept these much too many lies being spread from the pulpit.. Too many preachers too are (1 Tim 4:2 KJV) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

.

Just cause a person tithes, does not mean he is spiritual, more likely he is still even coming tax evasion, cheating, steal, abusing in my personal witness and experiences even in the PAOC churches now. (Psa 112:9 KJV) He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

50% of Sermons Are Not Biblical “Preaching the Gospel is not acceptable to living it. All pastors still do need to read the Bible for one hour a day at least, and pray for one hour a day at least. Almost 80 % of them do not. At least 50 percent of Church and TV, Internet sermons thus are unbiblical because most pastors do not use or read the Bible itself. Great, big Church pastors even steal their sermons from others as I have witnessed firsthand too. I interviewed personally 45 evangelical pastors in one city, Calgary Alberta, and none of them even used the Bible in their counseling ministry with their members and adherents. We have too many impostors, hirelings in the Ministry, bad persons not directly called by God to minister and that is why they also do cheat, lie, steal, commit adultery, tax evasions and abuse others, slander as well.  http://thenonconformer.blogspot.ca/2006/08/truths_08.html

.

(Jer 6:27 KJV) I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way. 28 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters. 29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. 30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

SO IF YOU SAY YOU BELIEVE IN TITHING THEN YOU MUST BELIEVE IN HELPING THE LOCAL POOR PEOPLE WITH IT. AND WE CAN ALL SEE THE EVIDENCE IF IT TOO.

.

Do note also that like today in social aid, the people receiving social  aid they now cannot own major tangible property, real estate, so any of   the people, priests  receiving the old testament tithes they also could not own any major tangible, real estate  properties.. but today the false priest, pastors who are demanding on receiving tithes they falsely also do want to still own a home… to enjoy the monetary rewards of both.. they are still equivalent of welfare cheats!!!!
