BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS

THE PEOPLE WHO HATE THE CHRISTIANS, CATHOLICS, AND AMERICANS FALSELY SUCH  AS THE JUDAIZERS FALSELY USE THIS BOOK, THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS FOR THEIR FALSE INTERPRETATIONS.

Now as to the book of Revelations most decent Bible scholars say the symbols in Revelation refer to events and places familiar to its intended audience – Firstly to the first century Christians in Asia Minor. The book, itself, states that its message is directed at the first century Christians in Asia Minor, and that the events it describes would happen “soon” (Revelation 1: 1-4, 1:9-11, 22:10). Face it  next even now there is much disagreement as to the actual interpretation of this book.

The Old testament prophecy of Jeremiah clearly stated that the original Babylon would be destroyed, never to be inhabited again. The physical city of Babylon was originally built by Nimrod after the flood. It was located on the Euphrates River, about 55 miles south of where Baghdad, Iraq stands today. The name Babylon came from the Tower of Babel that was constructed there. Babylon became a large city of global prominence around 1728 BC during the reign of Hammurabi. The glory years of Babylon were achieved under Nebuchadnezzar II (604-562 BC). The city declined during the reign of Belshazzar, and came to ruin when Xerxes, the Persian king, destroyed it in 478 BC. Thus, Jeremiah’s prophesied destruction of Babylon was accomplished, and, just as the prophecy said, it has never been inhabited to this day

The city Babylon described in Revelation is Jerusalem which is called   “Mystery Babylon.”  The prophecy of Mystery Babylon is found in Revelation 17:3-5.  “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

Verse 18 of the chapter tells us that the woman is a city. “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” In verse 1, we are told that the woman sits on many waters. Verse 15 explains the meaning of the waters. “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” Not only is this woman a city, but the city is apparently the headquarters over a vast international commerce, financial, political system. The Angel’s warning was that God’s people might hear His voice saying: “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Rev. 18:4.

In Revelation 17:18, John sadly makes it clear that the “whore of Babylon” was the ancient capital city of Israel,Jerusalem. The Romans destroyed the city entirely in 70 AD An angel announces that the fall of Babylon is imminent, and warns the faithful to depart the city to escape the destruction. Those who have profited from their relationship with Babylon lament her passing. Do see Jesus own parallel words

Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Matthew 10: 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Matthew 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Luke 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Luke 21: 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter there into.

The  Bible is very clear in telling us that when the anitchist is finally revealed to the Jews and the world for what he really is, it will be in the future Jerusalem . The harlot is Jerusalem, and their international bankers and the people who represent the rulers of the city, the Pharisees, religious leaders, money changers, and modern day equivalents who rule the kings of the earth.

Rev. 12:3     And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Rev. 17:3     So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Rev. 13:1     And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Yes it  is important to note that both the Old and New Testaments speak of a “MYSTERIOUS  AND  TERRIBLE PERSONAGE” who shall be revealed in the “Last Times.” He is called by various names.

“The Assyrian.”–Isaiah 10:5-6; 30:27-33.
“King of Babylon.”–Isaiah 14:4.
“Lucifer.”–Isaiah 14:12.
“The Little Horn.”–Daniel 7:8; 8:9-12.
“A King Of Fierce Countenance.”–Dan. 8:23.
“The Prince That Shall Come.”–Dan. 9:26.
“The Wilful King.”–Dan. 11:36.

In The New Testament  APOSTLE PAUL’S FOREVIEW.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for ‘that Day‘ (the Day of the Lord) shall not come except there come a ‘falling away first,’ and that ‘MAN OF SIN‘ be revealed. The

who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he As God sitteth in the Temple of God (the rebuilt Temple at Jerusalem), showing himself that he is God . . . For the

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signsand lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth (Christ) that they might be saved.” 2. Jesus also made a prophetic reference to him. “I am come in my Father’s Name, and ye receive me not; if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43.

BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The harlot is Jerusalem, with their international bankers and the people who represent the rulers of the city, the Pharisees, religious leaders, money changers, and modern day equivalents who rule the kings of the earth.  The Dragon is a symbol of the Money Power, nations under it’s influence..There undeniably still now are many Jewish  financial groups that hold very much power over certain nations and their population. So what groups, nations are these… what Vatican Bankers are also Jewish?

Ezekiel 16:33 describes how Jerusalem plays the harlot, oddly enough, by giving money to her lovers, which is “contrary” to how other women commit whoredoms:


Eze 16:31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;


Eze 16:32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!


Eze 16:33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.


Eze 16:34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.


Does the fact that the woman lends money to the nations prove that she rules them? Yes! Deuteronomy 15:6 clearly shows that by lending money, she rules the nations. Further proof that the lender rules over the borrower.


Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Babylon, as a name for Jerusalem, is not unlike the comparison to other cities, such as as Sodom, Egypt, and Gomorrah; “spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt” Rev 11:8. (Isaiah 1:10; Jer. 23:14, Ezek. 16:44-56 all compare Jerusalem to Sodom. (also, Jesus in various NT scriptures, compared various Isralite cities to Sodom and Gomorrah by comparing judgment), Luke 10:12, Mark 6:11, Matthew 11:23-24, Matthew 10:15.)

Babylon also is described as being the fountain of rebellion against God and God’s Word which has spread throughout the whole world. Babylon also represents the Israel today that despises, rejects, and mocks Jesus and His Words.

On a Bible doctrinal basis, both the Jews and Arabs have one more thing in common (besides eschewing pork,  PRACTICING  AN  EYE  FOR  AN  EYE ): Both their religions also do deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he  God came in the flesh in the person of the Lord Jesus. Israel claims Jerusalem as its eternal capital. The Palestinians and the Arab world also do claim Jerusalem too. So did the Catholics.

“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:3 KJV)

“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 John 1:7 KJV)

And based on the authority of the Scriptures, both the mainline Jewish and Islamic faiths of today (and all other world religions and apostate “Christian” cults and sects who deny the physical resurrection of Jesus and His Deity) are all under that spirit of antichrist.

Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Israel is described as a harlot in many texts of the Hebrew Scriptures: Isa. 1:21, Ezek 16, 23, Isaiah 57, Jeremiah 2-3 and Hosea 2

.

Isaiah 47 is a striking parallel passage, with 3 key elements repeated: She calls herself a queen, not a widow, and will see her destruction in one day.

Isaiah 47:7 You said, ‘I will continue forever— the eternal queen! ‘ But you did not consider these things or reflect on what might happen. 8 “Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, ‘I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.’ 9 Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all your potent spells.

Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

In that day Jerusalem will be a “great city” in this present evil world and a global center of religious worship, commerce and political power. It will be a corrupt place where religious authorities (much like the Pharisees and Sanhedrin of olden days) rule over and suppress the poor and persecute the truly righteous.

.

The woman is wearing red and purple, with a cup of gold in hand. The Israelite priests wear red and purple, and used cups of gold in the temple worship.

.

Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

God commanded that the priests’ vestments be made with purple and scarlet yarn (Ex. 28:4-8, 15, 33, 39:1-8, 24, 29).


Exodus 25:29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.


Dan 5:2 Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein.

Dan 5:3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them

And once again the sins of Jerusalem and the world will cause the Lord God to rise up and send prophets to Jerusalem, preaching repentance and that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand; the very same message of John the Baptist and Elijah (see Matthew 17:10-11 & Mark 9:11-12). Two of those coming prophets are killed by the rulers of the city:

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” (Revelation 11:8 KJV)

.

The Jerusalem of the future, in this present evil world system, is likened unto Sodom and Egypt, which tells you of the level of depravity and hardship being endured in the great city at that future time.

.

In Old Testament prophecy, cities like Jerusalem are spoken of as women, and usually in less than flattering terms when the Lord God is angry with them:

.

“Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.” (Lamentations 1:17 KJV)

.

Yes, Rome is a city that sits on seven hills, but so does the cities of Istanbul, Turkey (formerly Constantinople) and Jerusalem (and for that matter, so does Cincinnati, Ohio). HOWEVER, Jerusalem is specifically referred to as the “great city” in the book of Revelation, not Rome..

.

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” (Revelation 11:8 KJV)

…and is proclaimed by the Scriptures to be the true whore of Babylon:

“And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.” (Revelation 16:19 KJV)

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” (Revelation 17:5 KJV)

The Bible tells us that Jerusalem, not Rome, is the true “whore” of Revelation. In the future Jerusalem, the City of Peace will be the city of a great false peace. It will be a center of power much like ancient Babylon and will once again go a whoring as she did so many times in Old Testament days. At this future time Israel will have abandoned its current democratic form of government and will once again be a theocratic monarchy, ruled by kings and ruling with the kings of the earth. Now, I know that you may find this to be shocking and hard to believe. After all, we all think of Jerusalem as the heart of the holy land and the place where the Lord Jesus Christ will someday reign (and He will), but not before He avenges Himself on the city that rejected the Lamb of God and nailed Him to a tree outside the city walls.

How do we know for sure that Jerusalem is the “woman” spoken of? Consider this undeniable truth: In the Bible God says that Babylon, the mother of harlots, is responsible for shedding specific holy blood:

.

“And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” (Revelation 18:24 KJV)

And the only city on the face of the Earth that meets those criteria, according to the Bible, is the city of Jerusalem:

“Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.” (Luke 13:33 KJV)

And that is the verse of Scripture that nails the woman’s identity. Jesus Himself said this. And Jesus, who was also a prophet, was slain at Jerusalem. In fact, search your Bible and you will find that EVERY true prophet of the Lord God who perished did so at Jerusalem.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! (Luke 13:34 KJV)

The Pharisees of Jerusalem killed Stephen who was the first of “the martyrs of Jesus”. Any other interpretation of who the woman is, if it does not include the Jewish religious leaders in the time of Jesus, including the Jewish religious leaders who killed the Old Testament prophets (Rev 18:24), is therefore incorrect.

Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.


Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Stephen, the first Christian martyr, fingers the council at Jerusalem as the murderers of the prophets, and they were so angry they killed Stephen, too:


Act 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:


Jesus speaks harsh words to the leaders of Jerusalem, saying they are worse than harlots, and also says that “Jeursalem kills the prophets”:


Mat 21:31 “…Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.


Mat 21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.


Mat 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,


Mat 23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.


Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.


Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.


Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?


Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:


Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.


Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.


Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!


Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.


Mat 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Luk 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.


Luk 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.


Luk 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.


Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!


Luk 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

The woman also drinks the cup of wrath.

Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.


Isai 51:17 Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the Lord’s hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.


Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,


Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

The kings of the earth (the horns of the beast) (Rev 17:12), who the woman rules (Rev 17:18), will turn on the woman and destroy her. Ezekiel, in chapter 16, and Jeremiah chapter 4, say the same thing about Jerusalem and Israel.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.


Eze 16:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,


Eze 16:2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, …


Eze 16:37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.


Eze 16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.


Eze 16:39 And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.


Eze 16:40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.


Eze 16:41 And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

Jer 4:1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. …


Jer 4:30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.


Jer 4:31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

Apostle Peter uses the word “Babylon” to describe Jerusalem, where he lived, in a greeting at the end of his first epistle.

1 Peter 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

Peter was in Jerusalem, writing from Jerusalem, living with his son Marcus in Jerusalem, not Babylon.

.
Galatians 1:18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.


Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

At the time Peter wrote 1 Peter, the literal city of Old Babylon was in ruins, and uninhabited. Therefore, “babylon” was a name for Jerusalem.

The desolation of the harlot:
When will the ten kings of the earth (the horns of the beast) turn on the woman and destroy her? (Rev 17:16). These ten kings are of the eighth beast which is destroyed by Jesus. This eighth beast reigns for the final half of the 7 year tribulation; 42 months, or 3.5 years, or “time, times and half a time.”

Rev 17:13 These [ten kings] have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.


Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Thus, the ten kings will turn on the woman at the time they come to power to give their power to the beast, right at the middle of the tribulation, to set up that kingdom of the antiichrist.

  4. Actual circumcision is replaced by a circumcision of the heart (Rom. 2:29). 

So, in replacement theology the church has replaced Israel as the primary means by which the world is blessed by God’s work. Though it is true that the church does replace Israel in some areas such as properly representing God on earth, acknowledging the promise of the Messiah,

God is not completely done with Israel as  the Christian church is its complete replacement.

“For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will remove ungodliness from Jacob,’” (Rom. 11:25-26)..

Replacement theology is also known as supersessionism which means that the Christian church has superceded Israel in God’s plan.

In Christianity, cessationism is the doctrine that spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing ceased with the original twelve apostles and the completion of the canon of Scripture. . This is generally opposed to continuationism, which teaches that the Holy Spirit may bestow the spiritual gifts on persons other than the original twelve apostles at any time. Cessation theology, so-called, is, astonishingly enough, exactly what it denounces: completely nonbiblical. There is absolutely no clear biblical statement that any of the gifts of the Spirit have gone anywhere, especially away. How could they go away? What could that possibly even mean? The Holy Spirit has not taken the last train for the coast. The gifts are His gifts. They were not the possession of the apostles nor of the church in any time or location. Where the Spirit is, the gifts are.

How does he know what God has decided? He assumed he knows what God has decided because surely God would not use someone else, somewhere else. Surely. Some people are too ready to believe in the cessation of the gifts of the Holy spirit but they are not read to accept the cessation of the importance of  Jews, Israel in the New Testament

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included are always to be exemplary in behavior, conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary judged, prosecuted for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

Others argue that God gave us free will, thus allowing us to make a choice with our bodies. However, free will does not always mean we are free from sin. Whether you believe abortion is a sin or not, it is still biblical to care for our bodies. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 – “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in You. God will bring ruin to anyone who ruins this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you Christians are that temple.” (NLT)

Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the Bible.  But, it also goes against the created order of God who made Adam, a man, and Eve, a woman — not two men, not two women — to carry out his command to fill and subdue the earth (Gen. 1:28).

Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a heavy judgment administered by God Himself upon those who commit it – and support it. This judgment is simple in that those who practice it are given over to their passions – which means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins.

As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing.  They will not seek forgiveness.  They will die in their sins.  They will face God’s holy condemnation.  But, that isn’t all.  In addition to the judgment of being given over to their sin, those involved in it also promote it and condemn others who don’t approve of their behavior.

Sin is sin and the forgiveness of our sins is found in Christ alone and not in the false approval of any others.. . If he did not do this, then he would be approving of wrong doing. However, God is loving (1 John 4:8) patient (Rom. 2:4), wanting people to repent (Acts 17:30) and come a saving knowledge of him so they might be redeemed. What this means is that the sinner must turn to Christ, who is God the Son in flesh (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9), who bore our sins in his body on the cross (1 Pet. 2:24), died and rose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:1-4), and made it possible for sinners to be saved from the righteous judgment of God by faith in what Jesus did on our behalf (2 Cor. 5:21) and be forgiven of their sins (Eph. 2:8). This is done receiving Christ (John 1:12), by believing in him and his sacrifice that is a payment for our sins to God the Father. Like any sinner, the homosexual needs to repent, receive Christ by faith, and be saved from God’s righteous judgment by trusting in Christ and the judgment that fell upon him on the cross. They need to pray and ask the Lord Jesus to save them. Don’t compromise your witness for a socially acceptable opinion that is void of rationality, godliness, and biblical truth. Instead, stand firm in the word that God has revealed

Furthere more his year we’ve seen Obama Care attack the autonomy of Catholic churches by attempting to force them, in violation of Catholic teaching, to pay for contraceptives and abortifacients for church employees. And a lesbian employee of a Catholic hospital in New York wrongfully had sued the hospital for denying her partner spousal health benefits. The Economic benefits is what most gays want not just the false approval of the others.

There is only one true theology regarding homosexuality. Orthodox theologians throughout the history of the church and today hold one singular view on what Scripture teaches on homosexuality. God hates it, opposes it, punishes it.. Everyone should be welcome in our churches, but welcoming sinners—which all of us are—must never involve affirming sins. Those committed to defending God’s wonderful design of male-female human sexuality and offering the hope of the Gospel to homosexual strugglers must not grow weary in their well-doing.

The normalization of homosexuality, which God calls an abomination, is one of the most immoral acts of our age. Many Christians RIGHTFULLY DO share a concern that false prophets are coming into our churches in sheep’s clothing supporting gays, immoralities, drug usage too..We all come to Christ as sinners in need of God’s grace and mercy, but the church has no business affirming or even appearing to affirm even the supposedly gay believers in their embrace of sin as central to their identities. No one likes to be confronted with his or her error, and if we cannot judge the others how would Christians be alerted to the false prophets or heresies in the church? Should any Christian be prohibited from critiquing the bad acts, bad works of others .No!

Do we even have to filly “earn the right” by personal experience to identify porn use, adultery, fornication, incest, drunkenness, homosexuality or gossip as sins? Of Course Not. The Bible defines them as undeniable sins. It is, indeed, the Holy Spirit’s job to convict, but it is the job of Christians, particularly Christian leaders, to teach what God’s Word says in its entirety, which includes teaching about what constitutes sinful behavior. Articulating what the Bible teaches about homosexuality no more constitutes unscriptural judging than does articulating what the Bible teaches about lying, stealing, idolatry, blasphemy, or adultery.

Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well.. The Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the unrepentant guilty persons also now serves everyone’s best interest It is also COMMON fact of life, particularly amongst the young, inexperienced, realy bad persons who realy hate the truth or they cannot handle serious , heavy negative realties that false denial, ostrich approach is a serious part of their make up, and their related defense protection when you cannot discredit the facts, you make a false personal attack on the writer, persons instead.

 

I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. Clearly some bad people falsely still DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the realy bad persons especially as even I know this for sure as they falsely refuse the whole to be shared even as as to who they are firstly. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, immoral, abusive bullies.

The Hallmark of a democratic society is unregulated press and the right of free speech of all persons citizens, without any of them being bullied , lied about, slandered but unfortunately tis is not always the case not even on the Internet, not even especially in the Christian Internet where your post can be twisted, lied about distorted, censored or yourself banned from making posts, likley by the same religious control freaks who would kill Jesus Christ today as well. They even try to tell us what to write.. How all now absurd.

Some people are now falsely abusing these right to promote a false war against a particular Christian group, even the Pentecostal ones, or even the Catholic ones, etc. When I see this kind of unacceptable personal behavior I too do not accept it but do loudly object to it to all and do ask these hate mongrels be immediately fired, put in jail as well. No matter who they are now too.

There is still a separation between appropriate speech and inappropriate speech, a separation between freedom of speech, expressing one’s views, opinions and the delivered, deliberate conscious propagation of hatred towards a specific group or person.

When most amy person no matter who he says he is too now does tries to enforce any rule upon me I immediate rightfully do next often do ask them who they think they are that they think I now have to respect their man made rules over God’s rules firstly? What makes them now also think I have to be now their false slave too? And as to why do they think I am their false slave and that they are any kind of boss over me in these matters?

These same bad persons who tend to too readily judge others, and who to often falsely demand, want to enforce their one side rules upon the others, they themselves are now also the lying hypocrites. We all have a right to be heard, to speak, on the net as well.. 30 percent of the people I meet daily in real life are the bad guys that jails exist for still too.. and they should be put in there often too.

The critics as well but still cannot call us all the bad names they want or bully us though. Free speech too often now falsely is a right mainly for the rich, the bad guys, crooks, and not the decent folks. Most Christians sites also are not a one sided, Christian , God bashing forum for any of those that are hostile to JESUS CHRIST and Biblical Christianity. They too will not allow false teachers, or those that embrace false teaching, to use their site to add to sheep steal, lie, slander or try to to confuse people by promoting unbiblical books and resources that promote their chosen false religion and false agendas so they do often monitor the page content appropriately and do make no apology for it. Also I am not afraid of a debate id it is done in a proper, decent manner because we have the truth on our side. And I certainly will not allow my Facebook page to be any kind of a place for the wolves, liars, sheep stealers to proselytize for their false religions, false agendas or to abuse the innocent persons.

Almost all of  Jews do not accept OUR lORD Jesus Christ as their Messiah cause according to them JESUS DID NOT FULFILL THE MESSIANIC PROPHECIES

as the true Jewish Messiah  according to them will:

A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).

B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).

C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: “Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)

D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: “God will be King over all the world—on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One” (Zechariah 14:9).

E:The Messiah will lead the Jewish people to full Torah observance. The Torah states that all mitzvot (commandments) remain binding forever, and anyone coming to change the Torah is immediately identified as a false prophet. (Deut. 13:1-4)

All relgious  Jews seem to look for an earthly kingdom where they will be falsely superior to all others.. they can dream on.. this earth will pass away.. Jesus Christ will still now rule in the new Heaven and new earth..where there is no need for a temple..  Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  Rev 21:22  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  :23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. :24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Original Judaism says that the Messiah will be born of human parents, and possess normal physical attributes like other people. He will not be a demi-god, and will not possess supernatural qualities like Jesus Christ did.

The historical fact according to the Jews is that Jesus todate fulfilled none of these supposedly valid messianic prophecies. Another reason Judas the Apostle betrayed jesus now too.. not just for money!

According to the Jews the Christian teaching of a Trinity breaks God into three separate beings: The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19). It should be clear that since the Origin of Christianity  once a Jew became a Christian they stopped being a Jew and next went to their own seperate Christian church and not to any local Synogogue, Jewish house of prayer.

Judaism bases its belief on national revelation—i.e. God speaking to the entire nation.Jesus spoke to the entire Jewsish nation and so did the Apostle.s

Throughout the New Testament, Jesus contradicts the Torah and states that its commandments are no longer applicable. (see John 1:45 and 9:16, Acts 3:22 and 7:37)  For example, John 9:14 records that Jesus made a paste in violation of Shabbat, which caused the Pharisees to say (verse 16), “He does not observe Shabbat!”

Acts 10:9-16 “On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. 10But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance; 11 and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, 12 and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air. 13 A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!” 14 But Peter said, “By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean.” 15Again a voice came to him a second time, “What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.” 16 This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky.”
 
James 2:10 “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” Matthew 15:11 “it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”
 
If you want to keep the old testament laws by your own free will you can now do so freely and go to hell with them.. Jesus clearly clarified to all that now the old testament laws do not exist anymore and only two laws now exist.. Love God and Love others, and as for the rest you can eat anything you want too.. and the Apostles made it clear we cannot judge what other people do eat as being right or wrong…Had you read your new testament seriously you would have known all this this and would have known that all Judaizers, messianic Jews, Jews, Muslims are all going to the same hell hole too
 
Also do note here is no such thing as living in a world in which individuals are not being judged by others for the actions that they take or what they say. Making a statement such as, “you cannot judge me”, is ludicrous. A Christian person now still can judge another Christian’s individual’s behavior or actions, wrtings, speech but not the intent of any individual’s heart or his food.. except if it was specially offered to idols. Do you obey every law that was given in the entire Old Testament? Because if you obligate yourself to one law, then you are obligating yourself to the rest as well. And even to follow all of the laws, what will that do for the condition of one’s soul? The law was given as a means for preparation of the one who was to come. If we claim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then why turn back to the law that Christ gave himself up to free us from?
 
Timothy 1:3-4 “As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith.”

The use of the word “laws” in the Old Testament Bible, specifically does specially mean the Mosaic “laws”, or the “laws” of the Torah, all the “laws” of the first 5 books of the Bible. Also when Jesus refers to the “law” he himself now means all of the 613 “laws” of the Old Covenant. This, of course, includes the Ten Commandments but is not limited to them. But the old covenant “laws” themselves were only valid until the coming of Christ firstly. True Christians do not mix the Old and New Covenants “laws”, laws as defined by the New testament, nor do they rightfully now support any of the Judaizers and their “laws”, all those persons who want to keep the Torah “laws” and just add Jesus to it. Today the entire Old Covenant “laws” was to be casted out by the Christian but we must all still follow His new teachings that are valid in the New Covenant as per (Galatians 4:21-31). The New Covenant teachings of Jesus did not include Sabbath-keeping “laws”and many other “laws”of the now obsolete Torah. True Christians believe that the “laws” has been completely abrogated and replaced with the Law of Christ.; Messianic Jews and the Seventh day Adventists, Judaizers do still try to uphold invalid laws, part of the Bible falsely do draw people away from the truth of Christ. Jesus said that only two laws remain in effect.. Love God and love one another.. Men who still want to earn their way to heaven, pretending they can be better over others all go to hell instead..

Fools take one verse and try to build a whole lying doctrine out of it.. like all Israel shall be saved….  Will all Israel one day be saved?   However, taking all the texts above into consideration, we are obligated to ask, “Which Israel?” or what all  Jews can sin all they want and they will not go to Hell?  No one can foolishly, supidly claims that all the physical Jews who ever lived will one day be saved. That remark is absurd, plain stupidity by Bible ignorant persons.. Those who try to say that 25 “that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in” and assume that means that there must be a reversal of that condition after the fullness of the Gentiles has come in”. lie… for  it just does not means that In the Bible, that is not wha…t Apostle Paul teaches in Romans..in Romans Paul wrote, “he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly” (2:28). Now the word “Israel” is used two ways: “God’s people” (Spiritual Israel) and “Natural Israel.” Rom 11:26 is speaking about the same people being spoken of in Rom 9:8, i.e., “The offspring of Abraham” and “The children of the promise” – namely, “spiritual Israel” or Christians. Romans 9-11, Paul by the Spirit clarifies this and quotes Isaiah as saying, “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved” (9:27). A remmant doe snotmean all of themBelievng Jews are grafted back into the cultivated olive tree of the now mostly believing Gentiles , but that tree, vine is still Jesus Christ..who is  and we are onlythe branches.  In Noah’s day there was a remnant of eight souls. In Sodom there was a remnant of four souls reduced to three. Of the 600,000 men of war who departed Egypt, only two made it to the Promised Land. Of the twelve spies only two were God’s men. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and other prophets speak frequently of the remnant of Israel related to their return from captivity and otherwise.And what is Paul’s prayer and hope in the entire section? Paul’s labor regarding his brethren in the flesh was that he “might save some of them” (11:14). “Some of them.” Paul knew, just as Jesus taught, that “Narrow is the way which leads unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matt. 7:14). What Israel is is one speaking of when one says, “All Israel shall be saved”? It is not  “Israel after the flesh” (1 Cor. 10:18). it must be only the true ”  Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16). Stop being a fool, liar and Get wise and read the Bible for yourself in full.. The salvation of 100 percent of any nation in existence at any given time in history is simply contrary to everything we read in the Bible.

“…repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”   Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. :6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded :8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.   The false concept that the nation Israel will finally recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah and be converted en masse, in full is amisunderstanding of the scriptures.

Needless to say, all true Israel shall be saved. The “all” Israel of Rom. 11:26 is not natural Israel but spiritual Israel. It is the very small remnant of true Israelites within the nation as a whole. Isa. 1:9. Rom. 9:27, 11:5.

All of Romans 9:1-33 is an explanation of why Israel as a whole did not heed the word of God. They could not believe the word of God because they were not all Israel which were called Israel. Rom. 9:6. From the standpoint of being natural descendants of Abraham and the external practice of religion, they were Israelites.

Although very religious and proud of their heritage, they had no real faith. In numbers, natural Israel was compared to the sand of the sea; yet only a remnant would be saved according to Rom. 9:27. This is the “All Israel” spoken of in Rom. 11:26 that shall be saved.

(Rom 9:6 KJV) Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.   and that seed is the seed of Jesus Christ..the Christian Church.

Rom 9:24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

(Gal 3:16 KJV) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.   “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:26-29.

Being the natural seed of Abraham or any human being doesn’t mean a thing. Jesus said to the Jews, “I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” John 8:37-39.

It is not a matter of who our biological father is but who our spiritual father is. Gal. 3:7-9 says, “Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”

The idea that people can be saved any other way than through the means ordained of God is absolutely false. This includes prayer, tracts, books or the Bible itself. You are saved by repenting, ad admitting your sins, asking jesys to become your Lord and savior personally.   The true Jew in the sight of God has never been the natural Jew. Rom. 2:28-29 says, “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. 26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. 27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

                    

Some   Christians today interpret Romans 11:26 as applying to the end of the seven-year tribulation when Jesus appears in the clouds at His Second Coming. In other words, they don’t apply the verse to all Jews throughout history, but only to “all Jews” who are alive at the end. Supposedly, at the end of the tribulation, all remaining Jews in Israel will look up, see Christ coming in the clouds, realize He is the true Messiah, believe in Him, and thus “All Israel will be saved.”This is a false teaching, Rather the immediate context of Romans 11:26 is vs. 25. When “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,” then “all Israel will be saved.” Or, to be exact, “And so all Israel will be saved.” In other words, the coming in of the fullness or total number of the Gentiles results in “all Israel” …being saved. Paul’s idea seems to be that when all Gentiles (totally, throughout history) have come in, that is, have been grafted into the Vine, they, uniting with all Jews who have become believers, will form the total number of the saved.The Israel of God is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:29). The “all Israel that is saved” does not apply to all Jews throughout history, nor can it apply to a select favored group who become instant believers when Jesus Christ comes crashing down through the sky. Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well.. I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. Clearly some bad people falsely still DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the realy bad persons especially as even I know this for sure as they falsely refuse the whole to be shared even as as to who they are firstly. Thinking about God reduces distress,

 
One of the funny things I find about real  life for me is that it is too often  still is periods of either feast or famine, of one having an abundance or one faces poverty, having an absolute minimum essentials.. one has too much work or not enough.. one has too little time or too much free time, or one can’t find the time to be alone, to rest, versus one has  too much solitude and the same thing applies to one’s friends..  one has loads of superficial friends, or a bare minimum of good, trustworthy friends.

Sadly very few persons still do care about taking positive steps to insure a healthy body, or dealing with depression, those who do tend to do the absolute minimum.. most people do not know what to do or do not care to do anything until it is almost too late. Few people seriously read about these topics now too..

Published January 1, 2009  by Gillian Steward in Viewpoint    As Stephen Harper stoked the opposition parties into a flaming fury in early December, I wondered if he had forgotten that he was in Ottawa, not Alberta. In Alberta, the provincial Conservatives treat elected opposition MLAs with the same kind of contempt. Of course, in Alberta they can get away with it, because they have successfully engineered majority governments for 37 years, and counting. The Tories here don’t need to worry about the Liberals and the NDs banding together and bouncing them back to the opposition benches. After all, the combined opposition holds only 11 out of 83 seats. Most Albertans seem to like the Conservatives, so they keep voting for them. However, Albertans who elect Liberals or NDs are no less committed to the well-being of their fellow citizens. You wouldn’t think the same of Conservative MLAs, given way they treat opposition members or anyone who takes them to task. Like Harper, former premier Ralph Klein was not content to best opposition forces during elections, which he did several times; he wanted to crush them. During the Klein, regime opposition MLAs were often treated as though they had no right to be in the legislature. He banned them from policy committees. He denied them the use of publicly funded government facilities. He freely insulted them, and he frequently forced closure of debate on important issues such as electricity deregulation and privatization of health care. Klein and his henchman Rod Love quickly labelled people “communists” if they gave them grief. They weren’t afraid to verbally slap around mayors, city councils, university presidents, school boards and, of course, the media. In Ralph’s World, power was the name of the game; democratic process was a nuisance. And let’s not forget Ed Stelmach was in cabinet for all of this. You may be wondering; if the situation was so bad, why didn’t the people of Alberta rise up in protest and vote the louts out? Perhaps it’s the Stéphane Dion syndrome: they didn’t much like the goons in power, but they didn’t much like the alternatives either. Let’s take the Liberals. The usual slap against them is that they are Liberals, that they are the same party that foisted former prime minister Pierre Trudeau’s much-hated National Energy Program on Alberta. Liberals are always quick to deny this. During provincial election campaigns, they go to great pains to explain to voters that they are Alberta Liberals, not the dastardly federal Liberals who sucked so much money out of the province. Then as soon as the writ is dropped for a federal election, the same Alberta Liberals turn around and work for federal Liberal candidates. Some of them even stand as federal Liberals candidates. Why do they think they can have it both ways? And why do they think that Albertans don’t notice the hypocrisy? As for the New Democrats, it’s hard to believe that they can ever move beyond their Edmonton fortress and the cozy support provided by public service unions. Most candidates in Calgary are recruited simply so the ND option is on the ballot, and voter support can be totalled up provincewide as evidence of popular support. Even so, the NDs garnered only 8.5 per cent of the popular vote in the last election. As well, stories abound about ND leader Brian Mason’s dictatorial ways. You know the NDs are at the end of the road when the president of the Alberta Federation of Labour publicly calls for a coalition of the NDs, Liberals and Greens, as Gil McGowan did last spring. The Alberta Conservatives have grown arrogant and lazy simply because they have been in power for so long. The opposition parties are becoming more and more irrelevant. Voter turnout in Alberta is embarrassingly low. The time seems ripe for a new party with a leader who can inspire people to work together on all the challenges that confront us. In the meantime, the Conservative government can pretty much do as it wants. It has a solid majority, and there won’t be another election for three years. Who knows, the opposition parties might be in even worse shape than they are now? That’s the way it is in Alberta. However, Harper would do well to remember that other parts of Canada don’t have the same hidebound traditions when it comes to politics. Ontario certainly doesn’t. Voters there hold governments much more accountable. As do voters in Quebec. For that matter, voters in the other western provinces regularly turf out governments if they are seen to be beyond their stale date. Not in Alberta. We prefer to keep the mouldy bread rather than bake a fresh loaf. Perhaps Harper has been enmeshed in politics Alberta-style for too long to realize it doesn’t translate well in the rest of Canada. He actually needs to work with the opposition or his minority government will not survive. In spite of a growing, deepening Albertan  recession the most recent  growth makes Calgary , 1/3 the size of Montreal, is the third-largest municipality in Canada ?  Now according to the latest statistics   Toronto (2,631,725 people in 2007) and Montreal (1,620,693 in 2006) had more people. Ottawa (898,150 in 2008) and Edmonton (782,439 in 2009) rounded out the top five.  However, if one uses census estimates from 2008 for metropolitan areas — which rightfully do include the immediate  surrounding suburbs — then the Calgary Region falls to fifth, behind Toronto (5,531,263), Montreal (3,750,540), Vancouver (2,271,224) and Ottawa (1,198,668).  Calgary (1,182,446) is unique  for having the vast majority of its population live in the actual municipality, and not in surrounding suburbs. It has no suburbs because it is a mostly new city basically. That is why it is also costly as the roads, sewers, are mostly new too. Calgary only has 60,000 more residents than Edmonton (1,124,163) and it makes a lot of false noise in that fact too cause it wants to attract much needed capital investors for non existing industrial, commercial aspects.. There basically are only 2 large cities in Alberta, Calgary and Alberta, and a handfull of samller towns.. There is not much industrial, Munufacturing business in Alberta due to the shortage of labor and skilled persons, and high operating costs. People in Calgary and Alberta do often dream of becoming rich ,  but it is a far away dream when you consider the high costs of living there and the uncertainty of holding onto a job too.

The Kingdom Divided; Jeroboam Rules Israel

Jeroboam’s Idolatry

 Economic crisis is no time for political games  What is wrong with Stephen Harper? Days after talking about the need to put partisanship aside to deal with the economic crisis, the prime minister unleashes an undemocratic — even thuggish — attack on the opposition parties. His actions come at the expense of Canadians, introducing more uncertainty, including the threat of an election, at the most damaging time. And it is oddly self-destructive. At a point when many moderate voters were prepared to give the Conservatives a chance to demonstrate their ability to govern in the interests of all Canadians, Harper acted as a partisan bully, reinforcing concerns about his judgment. The classic way for a government to stimulate a flagging economy is to pump money into infrastructure. Road-building and government-funded construction can create jobs through one-time projects that increase spending on local materials and provide the country with something it actually needs, without creating a long-term spending problem. That’s the way Ottawa should go, economists say. In its Throne Speech a few weeks ago, the government promised infrastructure spending to pump money into the economy. It would appear that Minister Flaherty has forgotten that promise.  What planet do Canada’s Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty and Prime Minister Harper live on?
 
I had already written immediately after the last federal lection too that “And all persons are merely dreaming that the new Parliament will next usher in an era of co-operation between both the governing party and its opponents as long as Stephen Harper is around. That is not his style for he clearly and wrongfully loves to be a bully, to body check others.  And Harper now will clearly have to endure the successes and failures of minority government again by his own poor contributions to it .” “Just weeks ago Harper spoke of the need for a more nonpartisan approach to governing in the financial crisis. This week’s events prove that was mere lip service. Harper is more concerned about crippling political opponents and is willing to do so on the backs of Canadians frightened for their very future. It’s shameful.  ” He clearly  is a demon obsessed with getting more power.
 
 The misplaced values,  lack of decency, lack of morality, lack of street sense ,lack of common sense,  out-of-touch, revengeful Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper has Cleary degenerated in the eyes of many. His   having a government that is sensitive to the needs of Canadians rather than the lusts of big corporations is also a necessity still. 
 
Public confidence of Stephen Harper  and his leadership  has been badly shaken by the events of the past few days. As the Conservatives continue their pattern of negative behavior, setting aside the country’s interests in pursuit of their own, “Mr. Harper has poisoned the well for this Parliament, and has contributed to the political destabilization of Canada during a great economic crisis.” 
 

As Canadians face the most difficult economic times in 80 years this was, is Not a time to play politics. It was, is Bad time to play political games  So the  Chess-loving PM was  body checked by opponents. Opposition parties threaten to bring down minority government altogether or replace it.

Mr. Harper now and all of us should reflect on where his cynical, bullying, combative, unChristlike approach has gotten him, the Conservative government’s apparent death wish , and how it has further destabilized our country during uncertain times. ”   Stephen Harper has to wear this political mess himself now too. He had thought he had set a deadly trap for his opponents but he himself undeniably fell into it now. That is what a Bully, ego manic deserves. Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s clearly SELF CENTERED, SELFISH, crude political brinksmanship has taken an now finally admitted Canadian economic crisis and made it into a political crisis. 

The new Conservative party was elected cause they said they were going to be better than the other political parties, more honest, decent, etc, and in this regard they became the biggest liars themselves,  they next became the bullies, thugs, oppressors, promise breakers and much more, showing to us all that they were really wolves in sheep clothing,  their clearly apparent bad acts do  not deny who they really are still too… bad people.

No one in his right mind  can ever think, believe thse are the acts of a genuine professing Christian , more likely  acts typical of the Christian Missionary Alliance church, but not those of Jesus Christ. Jesus would have shown consideration for the poor people firstly, humbly too,  now too and not be self centered, boastful, proud like the Conservatives.

Merely let is think back to the final days of the election campaign, when Prime Minister Stephen Harper declared that the government had already done what was needed, that Canada was better off than the United States and that deficit financing was out of the question. And after the lection the same government   uses words such as “recession,” and will run a deficit. Mr. Harper even warns about remembering the lessons of the Great Depression. How the  same liar sings a different tune before and after the election, but that has been so common of him. And  much more…

“Half of Canadians think Stephen Harper should step down if the Conservatives are defeated in the House of Commons.
But that seemingly bleak number in a new Leger Marketing poll doesn’t tell the entire story.
About 37 per cent of those asked said Harper should stay, and this mirrors the approximate support Canadians gave the Tories and their leader in the Oct. 14 election, says Leger vice-president Dave Scholz.

CP MONTREAL – Quebec doesn’t need anti-sovereigntist rhetoric from the federal government while it copes with the global economic crisis, Premier Jean Charest said late Wednesday after hearing Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s televised address to the nation.  Charest’s reaction followed an earlier warning to federal politicians against attacking the Bloc Quebecois and engaging in Quebec bashing as they verbally slug it out in the political clash on Parliament Hill  “We must respect the choice that was made democratically by all citizens and all Quebecers,” Charest said as he left a rally in Ste-Marie. “And there are, economically, things to settle. We should focus on that. It is the No. 1 priority. Quebec does not need political instability and rhetoric that divides people.”  Charest,  appealed for calm late Wednesday afternoon and condemned the attacks against the Bloc.  “I live in a society where people can be federalist or sovereigntist but they respect each other,” Charest said in Quebec City. “The same should be true in the federal Parliament.”  Charest pointed out that 1.4 million Quebec voters had cast ballots for the Bloc in the Oct. 14 federal election and it has the political legitimacy to allow it to sit in Parliament.  Without identifying anyone, Charest said he found it regrettable that the opponents of the coalition had engaged in an argument tainted by “Quebec bashing.”

It’s his nature.. self-destructive” ..  clearly these immoral  Bully, Basher of others, Abusers of others has a disappointed, deflated ego, negative self worth,  most likely related to past unresolved guilt, as a result  of  that   the bully, he or she, tries falsely to   build  their ego up by bashing, hating others, by being an antagonists against  his proclaimed enemies, which too often also  is most people , for  he or she no longer trust anyone, and Abusers this is a common very typical approach, fact in the character build up of Bullies, Bashers, but their approach is futile, the subsequent feeling of self worth dissipates too quickly, are actually replaced by guilt,  and his ego, self worth likely needs to be recharged with new hate.. and is replaced with more and larger hatred of the others.  I have seen this type of wrong behavior not just in bad managers, bad politicians, bad persons, but  in alcoholics, and most often in Albertan rednecks ,but also  in religious   fundamentals evangelicals who promote hated towards Pentecostal Christians as well, and  now as well as the crooked pastor wrongfully  fighting for control over others. Public exposure and prosecution of these bad persons here too services everyone’s best interest.

BCE, Bell Canada the plunging phone company

More bad news for BCE.. The past False, misleading advertisements, bad management, Download cappings, have all lead to this. Shares of BCE tumbled $13.10, or 34 per cent, to $25.25, trimming 102 points from the S&P/TSX composite index, after accounting firm KPMG said it couldn’t certify the solvency of the company before the Dec. 11 deadline for the deal to close. A group of private equity investors led by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan agreed to pay $42.50 a share for BCE in the biggest leveraged buyout of all time. BCE says Teachers’ buyout ‘unlikely to proceed’ if solvency opinion not improved Wed Nov 26, 5:48 PM MONTREAL – Bell Canada’s roller coaster ride to privatization may finally crash under the weight of its prospective massive debt after an accounting firm raised serious doubt that the world’s largest leveraged corporate buyout could succeed. I am always amazed how they had wrongfully thought they could continue to abuse their own customers and next get away with it still too.. they had wrongfully failed to use profits to upgrade their old, obsolete phone lines, equipment too.. as a result lost many customers to the cable ISP too. They now really do not deserve any Business bail out by the taxpayers or the government.

Bell has always had it’s spin doctors spin, lying..  “But still “It’s getting hard to figure out the upside on the BCE story   It’s very difficult to say what’s priced into the stock, but make sure you know the risks before you pile into BCE. There may be some hidden ones. And there might be some positive surprises too.  Before the announcement of this deal, the shares traded between $26 and $28. The stock is trading at about $25 now.  The cable companies are doing better…  Then there’s the competitive landscape. It’s ferocious out there, with well-funded cable, VoIP and new wireless entrants moving in with their elbows high.  There are three sources of potentially good news. The first is that BCE upgrades its land line network and makes inroads into television. That’s hard to bank on and, even if you do, it’s tough to figure out the upside. The second is the network-sharing agreement with Telus, which should yield strong returns. And finally, there’s “Belus.” Most of us find it hard to believe that the Competition Bureau would let a merger with Telus happen, or that it would let the merged entity cherry pick its divestitures…   If none of these scenarios moves you, though, you’re probably better investing in the cable companies. As illustrated in this space not long ago, they are walloping the telcos because they generally have better technology. Where broadband goes, in the words of research firm Sandford Bernstein, so voice and video follow. In Canada, Rogers has mobile and Shaw is poised to move in. They’re more expensive, true, but in the long term, they seem to have more promise.”

A recent report by KPMG, acting as valuation firm, found that the amount of debt involved in the privatization of BCE (BCE), the parent of Bell Canada, would essentially render the company insolvent. As a result, the parties have called off the deal.
      

Dec 11, 2008 BCE’s shares have fallen by almost half since Teachers’ made its C$42.75-a-share bid. BCE dropped 59 cents, or 2.6 percent, to C$22.43 at 12:50 p.m. in Toronto.The stock fell 34 percent on Nov. 26 on concern that KPMG was unlikely to bless the deal because of the C$34 billion in bonds and loans needed to finance the purchase. The company hired PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in an unsuccessful effort to persuade KPMG to change its opinion.  .  BCE lost 72,000 home-phone lines last quarter as customers switched to wireless lines or to cable companies such as Rogers. BCE’s wireless unit, which makes up a quarter of sales, grew at less than half the rate of Rogers’s mobile unit. BCE takes low road as deal fails For all BCE’s protests, the world’s largest leverage buyout just failed because lawyers for the telecom company inserted a requirement in the deal that stated BCE needed to get a favourable solvency opinion. When KPMG, a reputable accounting firm, weighed in with a final opinion that  BCE didn’t meet solvency standards, the deal died. OnceBCE agreed to a buyout, they muffed the job of closing the deal.

“It is not just about the price too,   Bell can be real jerks to its customers. I used to be one until I got sick of their lack of customer service, etc., and even having 2 provides Bell and Rogers/local cable provider essentially in Ontario will NOT decrease prices. Look at the current cell-phone market as an indirect example of how low competition keeps prices high. ” ” and are they Bell and the others going to put unadvertised cap on how much we could download because basically the can to meet their advertised speeds due to their bolster, too often inadequate support structures, equipment too..” Bottom line is that when it comes to telecommunications and especially high speed internet, no one can be trusted, for  the fact is that ISP   – Cable, Telco etc – on their own will not invest in faster networks and bigger coverage areas because of the costs, and the main Corporate desire not to offer a service but a false desire  to make maximum profits with a minimum of capital investment. Services will evolve but at a slower pace until competitors are forced to invest in their own infrastrucuture.

Basically motivated by greed, increasing the profits. Bait and switch,  Misleading advertising, Unfair and Restrictive business trade practices seem to be a common thing in the Internet Service Providers  industry too, especially since generally the ISP are unregulated both by the Courts and the governments. It is a sad reality that even what is advertised is also next what the customer next consistently gets. ”

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission on Thursday issued a decision ordering Canada’s big phone companies, including Bell, Telus Corp., MTS Allstream Inc., SaskTel and Bell Aliant, to offer the same internet speeds to smaller wholesale customers as they themselves sell on a retail basis.” Service speed is an important competitive attribute, with rates differing significantly by speed and speed often being a major differentiation point from a marketing standpoint,” the CRTC ruled.

Under existing CRTC regulations, the big phone companies are required to rent out their networks to smaller service providers, who then sell internet access to their own customers. The rules boost the number of competitors selling internet access to the public, and thus keep prices down and service levels up. The regulations, however, have only applied to older infrastructure based in phone companies’ centralized office buildings.

Recently, phone companies have been pushing their networks out of those buildings by putting new equipment into streetside cabinets in an effort to boost their customers’ internet speeds. Smaller internet service providers haven’t had regulated access to those cabinets, however, which means they have been limited to selling slower speeds than those offered by the big phone companies.

In Quebec, for example, Bell has been selling internet connections with download speeds around 16 megabits per second while small ISPs have topped out at less than half that. The phone companies will only be required to offer faster speeds to wholesale ISPs when they sell them on a retail basis in a given area. Smaller ISPs will therefore have to request the faster connections from the phone companies. Bell, Telus and the others have 45 days to file with the CRTC the proposed rates they intend to charge the small ISPs for faster services. The rates will have to represent the actual cost of the service, plus “a reasonable mark-up,” the regulator said.

Sarah Palin After the elections?

 Now that the election is over, and Barack Obama has been elected as the 44th President… are we still going to hear about Sarah Palin? Or will her name become obsolete? After elections, the opponent that loses usually disappears within a week after the election… but this is Sarah Palin we’re talking about… 
 

75 percent of evenagelicals still did not vote for Obama, or 49 percent of the voting US population..

“The media is already harping on the fact that 60 percent of voters expressed doubts about Sarah Palin being ready to take over as President should something happen to John McCain.

But if you study the exit polls carefully, there is no evidence that this fact actually influenced the vote.

When people were asked if Palin’s presence on the ticket was an important factor in their decision, 60 percent answered yes, 33 percent no. But of the 60 percent that said yes, 56 percent ended up voting McCain versus 43 percent Obama.

On the other hand, of the 33 percent that said no, only 33 percent voted McCain versus 64 percent Obama.

What does this mean? People who thought Palin’s presence on the ticket was important were more likely to vote McCain by a significant margin. So the media is allowing their bias to influence the interpretation of the data.

You can look even closer than that. Palin was picked specifically to influence a few key demographics for the Republicans – women, independents, white evangelicals and gun owners:

– White women voted McCain/Palin 53-46. That’s within the margin of error for how Bush/Cheney score with the same group in 2004, 55-44.

– White independents voted McCain/Palin 49-47. There are no comparable data on this group for 2004, but we do know that independents went for Kerry 49-48 in 2004, and 52-44 for Obama this year. It’s safe to conclude that the swing to Obama in this category was caused by non-white independents voting overwhelmingly for the Democratic ticket.

– White evangelical/born again cCristians voted McCain/Palin 74-24 in 2008, which is slightly lower than the 78-21 breakdown in 2004. But their share of the total vote was larger this time than last time (26 percent in 2008 versus 23 percent in 2004), so on balance the white evangelical/born again contribution to the Republican vote was probably about the same size as it was in 2004.

– Gun owners voted for McCain/Palin in the same numbers they voted for Bush/Cheney last time round: 62-37 in 2008 versus 63-36 in 204

So, in those four major target groups, Palin delivered the goods for the McCain campaign. These are groups that were skeptical about McCain before Palin joined the ticket.

In all four categories, the McCain/Palin share of the vote was virtually identical to the Bush/Cheney share in 2004. That seemed impossible before Sarah Palin.

It was a teary-eyed Sarah Palin who waved to the crowd in Phoenix last night and is now on her way home to Alaska to split time as Governor and Mom.

“I’m not doing this for naught,” Palin said last week, when asked if all the mudslinging in the campaign made her long for a return to the more sedate politics of Alaska, where she is governor.

After McCain’s stinging loss, Palin, 44, has emerged as one of the strongest brands the Republicans have got.

As one of the most recognisable figures in a party searching for direction and new leadership, Palin’s future role will be a major theme when Republican heavyweights weigh up strategies for the 2010 mid-term congressional elections.

“She definitely is going to be the most popular Republican in this country when this thing is over,” Republican strategist Ed Rollins, and former political director to president Ronald Reagan, told CNN before the election.

And the carefully coiffed conservative Christian who cast herself as a maverick, a reformer and an anti-corruption star, has clearly indicated the 2008 run wasn’t an end-all to her national political ambitions.

“I think that, if I were to give up and wave a white flag of surrender against some of the political shots that we’ve taken, that would bring this whole” endeavour to nothing, Palin told ABC last week.

In the last pre-election episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, comedienne Tina Fey, in her much lauded role impersonating Palin, made a show of “going rogue” from the McCain campaign talking points by trying to hawk “Palin 2012” t-shirts.

At Republican rallies in recent weeks supporters too have been seen displaying “Palin 2012″ shirts and banners.

There has been talk in Hollywood of Sarah Palin getting a talk show; talk in Washington of Sarah Palin as the best fundraiser the Republicans have; talk in Alaska of Sarah Palin running for the Senate.

There is a world of options in front of Sarah Palin. She is the star of the Republican Conservative base and if you think she will stay in Alaska for long – you’re wrong.”
