Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Trinity

real

A  little boy in Sunday School, who was  drawing feverishly and  One of the teachers noticed walked over to him and said, ” what are you doing?” to which he said, “I’m drawing a picture of God.” The teacher said, “But no one knows what God looks like.” Without missing a beat he kept drawing and said, “They will when I get finished.”
.

“The Holy Spirit of God is the Spirit of God, fully divine.” That means that in every way He is equal with God the Father and God the Son. He possesses their attributes and character. He is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and holy. He is eternal, immutable, righteous, just and loving. And, as the third person of the Holy Trinity, He is a person. This is an important point to understand.  Many people make the mistake of referring to the Holy Spirit with the impersonal pronoun, “It.” But this is not how scripture reveals Him to us. When Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit, say in John 14:26 for example He uses the masculine personal pronoun when He says, “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit – the Father will send Him in My name – will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.”  The Holy Spirit is a unique person with the characteristics which define a person.One can be in fellowship with Him or one can be out of fellowship with Him. One can invite Him to be present or one can grieve Him and quench His presence. Acts 5:3 tells us that it is possible to lie to Him and Acts 7:51 tells us it is possible to resist Him. And Acts 13:2 tells us that He speaks, all of these are characteristics of a person.

.

In Acts 1:8 the disciples were told that they would receive a special anointing of power, a special enablement to carry forth with the work of the kingdom of God. This is the same thing which the Lord spoke through the prophet Zachariah in Zachariah 4:6 when He said, “Not by strength or by might, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.” Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing, which is to say, without His Spirit working in us and through us, without the supernatural empowerment which He alone can give, we cannot accomplish anything of eternal consequence. The Holy Spirit empowers.

.

I Corinthians 12, Romans 12:6-8 and 1 Peter 4:10-11 tell us that the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every believer to equip them to be a functional and productive part of the body of Christ. Now why aren’t they obvious them? The problem, you see, is not with the Spirit who gives the gifts, but with the ignorant, carnal  believer who who is not investing their life in the work of the kingdom of God. The Church   grows or diminish based on the active work of the Holy Spirit  through the people of God to accomplish the will of God on earth.

.

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

.

Many professing Christians still do Struggle with the doctrine of the Holy Spirit.  Great demonic confusion surrounds thus the  Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit amongst the Baptists, Evangelicals, Dispensationalists  mainly because there are too many ignorant  fools who  try to teach, explain something they themselves have still have never personally experienced yet.  They falsely thus do  teach the “cessationist” doctrine – a false view that does not believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including prophecy and tongues, are operational in the Church today. So the majority of the they thus have falsely remained in opposition to the open manifestation of the Holy Spirit. “…  We should  understand the demonic agenda of all  those who wish to drive into the shadows falsely all those of us who are open to this area of the Spirit’s work, as clearly attested in Scripture..

.
For some   the  Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit   is viewed as a subsequent work of grace in a believer’s life and is equated with the filling of the Holy Spirit. Others associate the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a normal secondary Christian experience with the full gifts of the Holy Spirit including the gift of tongues as a result of accepting Jesus Christ the full Lord of one\s own personal life, abandoning all to Jesus… Still others diligently see  it as a  rare, special unusual work of God in the life of only some Christian  believer which confirms God’s power and allows a special closeness to God never before experienced. Still  Christ is always described as the baptizer of the Holy Spirit. One thing is very clear today. We all do  need the Holy Spirit! We all do  need Him now, we need Him desperately and we need Him always. There really e is an experience for believers that is called “the baptism of the Holy Spirit”. We all need to understand it..This baptism by the Holy Spirit is  empowering  and a separate experience generally from Salvation. How much of the Holy Spirit do you have?” or ”How much of me does Jesus Christ really have?”
.
It really is a great dispensationalist lie, falsehood that the the doctrine of “the baptism of the Holy Spirit” is 1 Corinthians 12:13  found  in the book of Acts that deal with encountering the Holy Spirit were under special circumstances. Temporary only.  Acts is a history book that details the ongoing supernatural origin of the church. The book of Acts It is a  not just a temporary descriptive  transitional book that describes that unique time in history when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be the Paraclete, comforter and companion.   Thus Pentecost was  the beginning of the work of the Holy Spirit  personally in one’s life and . We can  build a theology of the the  Christian doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit from the book of Acts. The very primary   meaning of the word “baptism” is “to immerse or submerge”, “to be joined with., or  anointed specifically. It is personal,experience. “and it still does not   happens to all believers.  When then does the baptism occur? The clear teaching of the New Testament is that it should normally takes place at conversion but obviously not for many and why? Basic Ignorance..
.
The wonderful personal experience of the baptism by the Holy Spirit brings us  a  new empowered  life, not  just by Jesus Christ a new identity and a new nature.  Christ gives  you the empowering of the Holy Spirit of Christ,  Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
.
Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you
.
Is 51:23 .. your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.
.
Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit do not bash,  cut down ,   tear into ,  bad-mouth , castigate  ,  defame , derogate ,tear apart , knock , oppress , persecute , revile , slam , sling mud against,  condemn    Christians So how do you treat other Christians with love and respect or with a false hatred?
.

About the Holy Spirit haters, bashers   The false Demotion of the Holy Spirit, Jesus .. Jesus had said that without Him and his Holy Spirit you can do nothing.. nothing everlasting, or significant too. yet people falsely do try to Divorce the Holy Spirit or try to substitute the Holy Spirit with false doctrines, vanities still to day. Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

.

Holy Spirit led, filled Christians   Pentecostalism or Classical Pentecostalism believe that all Real Christians are Pentecostals or Charismatics and  is a renewal movement within Christianity that places special emphasis on a direct personal experience of God through the  Lordship of Jesus Christ, baptism with the Holy Spirit leading to Holy Spirit–filled and empowered life as well as biblical authority, and the miraculous, personal empowerment which includes the use of spiritual gifts. Pentecostals tend to also see their movement as reflecting the same kind of spiritual power and teachings that were found in the Apostolic Age of the early church. For this reason, some Pentecostals also use the term Apostolic or full gospel to describe their movement. Real Pentecostals do practice and  believe and in an authentic relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, the Trinity, stemming from simple conversation with them through prayers and even fasting. They tend to believe a Christian can both be demon possessed and can  lose their personal Salvation as well. They tend to put a greater emphasis on prayer over Bible reading,  and thus can still even have some personal errors.. Pentecostalism as a whole now even follows four core doctrines: salvation, divine healing, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the second coming of Christ as well as a Mission to others. These missions include to evangelize the lost,  the praise and worship of God,  to teach and disciple believers, and to show practical, real compassion to the poor and needy.  Some Pentecostals groups still falsely   teach and demand tithing. Others now falsely allow divorce. Many Pentecostals also put emphasis on the latter rain outpouring, Believing that we all were living in the end times, they expect God to presently spiritually renew the Christian Church bringing to pass not only the restoration of spiritual gifts, but also the evangelization of the whole world by the re-establishment and the mutual submission of the offices of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors teachers, evangelists. It should be noted some Pastors falsely  object to their submission to others.

.

The Pentecostals do now differ very significantly from the other main Christian Denominations including the Mennonites, Brethren, Baptists, Catholics, Anglican, Presbyterian for they preach the whole or full Gospel of Jesus Christ; Jesus  as Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Provider, coming King, Baptizer of the Holy Ghosts, Sanctifier, Giver of gifts too… and yet this denomination basically is not more spiritual over the others, mainly because the leadership has watered down the requirements of what it takes to be a Christian, a church member .. apparently you can often buy a membership by tithing, giving ten percent of your income to the local church..   While there are many similar evidently aspects of the Pentecostals such as the main emphasis on not only Jesus, His salvation, forgiveness but also on the Holy sprit, leading , gifts, empowering each local Church tends to differ, some seriously even depart from the faith in reality, have accepted falsehoods, lies, distortions into their midst, doctrines like many other denominations now too. I do deal with some of these issues too.

.

IT IS ONE OF THE GREATEST LIES OF THE DEVIL, MYTHS THAT ONE CAN BE A CHRISTIAN OR THAT SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS, EVEN HOLINESS CAN BE ACHIEVED WITHOUT THE FILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

 .
The anointing of the Holy spirit      Firstly we all do still do need to know as to what is a real Christian? Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
.
To be a Christian is based on the Greek word anointed one, Christos, a person in whom  we can see the anointing of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ himself also was baptized with the Holy Spirit, The word “Christ” is a transliteration of the Greek word christos, meaning “the Anointed One.
.
(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Now  the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament..
.
The word christos means a person HOLY SPIRIT anointed . The Greek name for an individual “Christos” rendered “Christ” in Scripture, the basic of the term Christian now as well, comes from the Greek word “chrio” means to anoint with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit,
.
Luke 4:18-19 (Wey) [Jesus:] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners of war and recovery of sight to the blind: to send away free those whom tyranny has crushed, to proclaim the year of acceptance with the Lord.”But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. . . .
.
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:20, 27;
.
The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure.
.
When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1,2 in the synagogue of Nazareth, saying, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,” he was announcing to the people that he was the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah long ago and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was now resting upon him.
.
Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire.
.
In Acts 1:5 the Lord Jesus Christ himself speaks of this, saying, “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as we read in Acts 2:4: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” The Greek word for anointing is chrisma, from which we have the word chrism. Chrisma appears several times in 1 John 2:20 and 27. It comes from the root word, chriô, which means to rub something or someone lightly with a substance like oil or lotion. Thus, when John writes in 1 John 2:20, “But you have a chrisma, an anointing,” he was referring to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every believer.;
.
(1 John 3:21 KJV) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 2 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.The word “Christ” is a transliteration of the Greek word christos, meaning “the Anointed One,    Jesus was the anointed one. Jesus is the Messiah and  the transliteration of the Old Testament Hebrew word pronounced maw-shakh, meaning Anointed One, which when translated into the New Testament Greek is Christos. Matt. 3:11, “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
.
and by the way these people who clearly hate, reject, abuse the Holy Spirit by offering their false definition of Christian   really do need to relook at the definition of a Christians, as they clearly are not Holy Spirit anointed  Christians even.. they are not real Christians..  So one can tell if any person is a Christian cause they also can see the evidence of the holy spirit’s anointing.. so now we all can be anointed one inspectors of all Christians now too.
.
So can we  see the anointing of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ in you.. do we all see it  easily? or do you like bullying others too much still? doing your own thing?
.
Beyond the show of a doubt the devil himself firstly really hates any references to the Holy Spirit, the anointed ones, the idea that Christians do have now empowering to overcome the devil too…  and so now the devil uses any of his followers, those in the fundamental religious circles too now, to now lie, twist, distort the truths. and they falsely try to say something typical like this  now.. the big lie“If you check every single Biblical reference to the Anointing you should notice that ” There is not ONE SINGLE reference to the anointing being a supernatural power given to human by which they are able to perform miracles… There is not ONE SINGLE reference to anyone being able to transmit the anointing by any means, including the laying on of hands… There is not ONE SINGLE reference to getting, keeping, increasing, or losing the anointing.”All lies..
.
It’s the frequent and methodical strategy of those people not Holy spirit filled, those people walking in the flesh that they do bash, recite against anyone who has evidenced the Holy Spirit anointing still too, but we all can see these false professors own false, unscriptural doctrine and practice. It’s now a charge of their “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” and their disobedience of “touch not the Lord’s anointed.”
.
Mind you they these same liars do have to Tear out the whole Old Testament for a start.. the prophets were clearly anointed, and performed miracles, and the same Jesus yesterday, today and forever who lives in us today too, who was anointed and performed miracles he had also said that believers will do even greater things now too. In the reality now after all Samson next lost his anointing.. and so did King Saul lose his anointing .. and David asked God not to take away his anointing too after he had sinned with
Bathsheba..
.

The anointing that the devil and his false followers do hate and oppose, lie about is this.. (Mark 16:17 KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

.
The anointing is sacred, the anointing is the Holy Spirit, and all believers in Christ have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We must be careful what we say about our brothers and sisters in Christ.
.
(Matthew 12:31 NKJV) “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
.

(Jer 14:14 KJV) Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

.

(Jer 14:15 KJV) Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

.

(Jer 23:25 KJV) I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

.

(Jer 27:15 KJV) For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

.

(Jer 29:9 KJV) For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

.

(Jer 29:23 KJV) Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.

.

(Luke 21:8 KJV) And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

.

The holy Spirit is real and he can be real to you too.

.

(1 Cor 12:8 KJV) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

.

(2 Cor 3:18 KJV) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

.

(1 Pet 3:18 KJV) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

.

(1 Matt 3:24 KJV) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

.

(1 John 3:21 KJV) I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 2 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire

.

(Acts 10:38 KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him

.

“I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed (enduo) with power (dunamis) from on high.” (Luke 24:49)  ”Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water (hudati), but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit (en pneumati hagio)…. But you will receive power (dunamis) when the Holy Spirit comes on (epiechomai) you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:4, 5, 8; see 11:15-16)

.

The “baptism of the Holy Spirit” is given to those persons who obey God, follow after and do his will.. it requires our initial personal involvement, willingness, obedience.

 .

The “baptism of the Holy Spirit” involves being covered with, immersed in, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a term used to describe a movement of the Spirit upon and/or within a believer usually at salvation but often after the person is saved. Actually it is likely that many people accept Jesus Christ intellectual but do take some time to make him fully the personal lord of their life next.

.

Matt. 3:11, “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

.

Mark 1:8, “I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

.

Acts 11:16, “And I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

.

The Early Church understood water baptism much as John the Baptist did, representing God’s cleansing and the washing away of our sins (Acts 22:16). It is a baptism of repentance still, since by submitting to Christian baptism, a person either tacitly or explicitly acknowledges his need for cleansing, and therefore his sins that demand forgiveness and cleansing. On the Day of Pentecost, Peter told his convicted hearers, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

.

We should be careful to not confuse Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the various other ministries of the Holy Spirit. The filling of the Holy Spirit is how He empowers and controls us (Acts 4:31; Ephesians 5:18). The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is God the Holy Spirit taking up permanent residence in our lives (John 14:17; Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; 1 John 4:4). The sealing of the Holy Spirit is God marking us as His permanent possession (Ephesians 1:13-14). Baptism in the Holy Spirit is related to these other ministries of the Holy Spirit, but at the same time, it is separate from them.

.

My own experience supports the idea that the baptism in the Holy Spirit can be a subsequent occurrence to salvation. Long after my becoming a Christian, I had an experience where I next had specifically allowed the Holy Spirit moved upon me with great power.

.

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” (Luke 3:16)

.

Have you been Baptized with the Holy Spirit? If you’ve repented of your sins and asked Christ to be your Lord and Master, then He responds with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

.

(Rev 3:15 KJV) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

.

(Heb 13:8 KJV) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. is alive today.. and he can be alive today in you and me too. And John 4:4 states, “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
.

(Luke 4:18-19 NKJV) “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the Gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; {19} To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”The choice is ours! Through the Word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit we can exercise a power and authority that no other can demonstrate nor compete with. God has called us and anointed us for that purpose. What will it be?  Therefore, if you would like a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit upon your life, you must come before the Great Anointer! He alone can give you what you need. Open your heart to God, and allow Him to lay His hand upon your life in a new way. I guarantee you, a strong anointing will follow!

.

1 The anointing is given to preach the Gospel to the poor

2. The anointing is given to heal and restore people
3. The anointing is given to proclaim freedom to the captives
4. The anointing is given to open blind eyes
5. The anointing is given to set people free
6. The anointing flows in God’s timing and proclaims God’s timing
7 The anointing is given to preach the Gospel to the poor, to bring the revelation of God’s love to those who are seeking.

,

So why is it you do not pray in Tongues? Many even religious persons, people are falsely trying to reach Heaven, serve God in their own efforts neglect God’s provisions for them, God’s spiritual gifts. if you oppose tongues you are not even a Christian led by the holy Spirit. and that is your main problem still.. not being filled with the Holy Spirit.. You do need to learn what sins are holding you back from this…

.THE BOOGEYMAN CALLED FALSE TONGUES Of all the empty arguments offered by Cessationists, it is hard to find anything more bizarre than their claim of the existence of “false tongues.”  This doctrine is the new Boogeyman.

.

Now about Speaking in tongues    I find it absurd that many claim to be Holy Spirit experts when the reality is, and they show it too, that they do not yet even know the Holy Spirit personally…. never mind Jesus.. It is amazing that many  people falsely concentrate on what they or others believe, what mere men and women say on the Subject and not rather what the New testament Bible actually says .. as the devil does not want them to see and admit the Bible truth.. there are so many different and even false interpretations too on what tongues thus is -“that the gift of tongues constituted a type of “ language,” a series of initially  unintelligible sounds that are unrelated to one’s own human speech and so they need to be also  interpreted.  One should pray to have this interpretation too”.

.

Covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.Have you yourself wondered why some people really go really nuts, bonkers when you mention the word Holy Spirit.. I have! It is related to their false  fear of admitting and confessing their sins, of their own repentance.

.

Acts 2:38   Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”;

.

1 Corinthians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

.

We do not emphasize the baptism in the Spirit and speaking in tongues to a greater extent than all of the other essential New testament doctrines such as the New Birth from Above (salvation), dying to self, the Lordship of Jesus Christ,  and water baptism. All the teachings of the New Testament even about  tongues have  the same priority as it is in Scripture.

.

There are now many, many Christians who give testimony to a new, dynamic and personal, life-changing experiences as a result of their  relationship with the Holy Spirit while other Professing Christians  they still do not have any real encounter and experience of the Holy Spirit, and why is that?

.

When any biblical truths, even such as praying in tongues,  fall into obscurity and neglect, too many people offer false explanations, false excuses for it instead of reviving the truths in their life.

.

The disciples who follow Jesus were born again. They had come to a vibrant and zealous faith in Christ, to the point that they were willing to give their lives for him. They had witnessed Christ’s authority, practiced some of his authority in expelling demons and healing people. They witnessed his resurrection and ascension. Yet it was to these disciples, clearly born again, that Jesus said

.

“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.  For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

.

So  certainly   being baptized by the Holy Spirit is different from spiritual rebirth, and different from baptism by water, and it is  distinct from being baptized into the body of Christ.

.

While God’s  gifts to men now are supernatural both in source and operation, they still do require the personal willingness  and having an  obedient hearts through which they the gifts might find expression. The believer must (1) have a clear understanding of the biblical base for promised gifts; (2) be touched in his heart with a desire for the gifts to flow; (3) be willing to submit to the inner sense that the Spirit is seeking expression; and (4) offer to the Holy Spirit his heart, emotions, will, and voice by which those gifts may operate. The key is obedient availability coupled with a sincere desire to please God.

.

Jesus now had commanded His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they had been “clothed with power from on high” (Luke 24:49). It was not until they had placed themselves at the Spirit’s disposal that they were “filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” (Acts 2:4).Now on the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell upon the assembled believers as per the Bible and and “all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues” (Acts 2:4). Later, as Peter was preaching at the house of Cornelius, “the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message” and they were “speaking in tongues and praising God” (Acts 10:44, 46). Again, as the apostle Paul was ministering to the Ephesian disciples, “the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied” (Acts 19:6). It is evident also that Paul himself was filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:17) and spoke in tongues (1 Corinthians 14:18). These Scriptures clearly show that speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit.  When the early believers were filled, they spoke in other tongues, and the same holds true today. Millions of believers worldwide share the exact testimony: when they initially were baptized in the Holy Spirit they spoke in unknown tongues. This is the truth which Pentecostals consistently affirm. The prophecy of Joel 2:28, 29, cited by Peter in Acts 2:16, 17, links today’s Spirit-filled believers with those who were filled with the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. The Spirit’s fullness, evidenced initially by the phenomenon of speaking in other tongues, is the common experience all celebrate with joy.

.

The job description, empowernment   Now when I am hired in a new Job I ask my boss for a Job Description. When I meet a new Church Pastor I also do ask him what he thinks his job description is, to even now see if it is Biblically sound, if he really is a good shepherd of the flock.

.

The  baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy spirit, the Anointing , Tongues, Prophets, Apostles, Miracle workers, tithing   have become unarguably the most neglected,  misunderstood, misinterpreted, contentious terms in the news media, in the non Pentecostal and in the Non Charismatic arenas, especially in the fundamental evangelical religious circles and now all even because many of these people are mostly still serving self, doing their own thing, looking up to mere man and not unto God;   As they clearly do not have God’s understanding of these subjects cause they do not have the Holy Spirit.. so they are none of His for a start, they have let unrepentant sin continue in their lives still too

.
How to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.  (John 10:27 KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
.
(Isa 30:21 KJV) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
.
The people who also tell us to use only the Bible they often still lie further to us.. they ask us also to use men’s commentaries, instead of the Holy spirit to next interpret the Bible.
.
(Eph 4:18 KJV) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
.
Jesus is God’s perfect revelation. The Bible is the record of God’s revelation. To the experience, true Christian believer It is undeniably clearly that the Holy Sprit is the persons, individual that will lead and guide us into all truth, even explaining the Bible to us now as well.  Imagine now instead that you too even can actually hear God’s voices, THAT OF JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT AS WELL NOW and their  specific instructions to you instead of hearing your own voice, the Jewish lusts of the flesh,  or the Devil’s voice.
.
HOW EASY IS IT TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE.. THAT  MORE I DESIRE TO HEAR HIM THE EASIER  IT IS THAT SO DO.. AS GOD SAID IF YOU SEEK ME WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART YOU WILL FIND ME.
.
Now we all still do have to listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, to hear his will, guidance, commandments for us..
.
Personal Humbleness is one of the basic prerequisite to allow God to personally speak to us. I know that many persons now tend to limit, cripple how God can speak to them, as only being through the Mind, through the Bible, only through others, or through circumstances.. well I also know that the devil can speak to you and me that way now too.. or he devil can send you a supposedly wise person telling you what you should do , what to do. and often rather making it a lot worse.
.
Still there is a false  thinking that the    Bible is solely the Word of God, or  neglecting  most of the New Testament,, There is a huge pitfall in  thinking the Bible is the Word of God alone, and thinking that all the commands in the Bible referencing the Word of God, refer solely  to the Bible; when these references really mean going to God directly and listening to the Word of God  personally still speaking to you.
.

Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Mat 4:4

.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit  ” There is a river of the Holy Spirit that comes from God whose streams makes glad “believers” and fills them with joy and peace. As a result this river gives them joy and gladness, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Yes, Joy and gladness are the trade marks of being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not only to be understood with our hearts and minds and appreciated for its many miracles, signs and wonders but it’s to be experienced through the moving of the Holy Spirit. ” John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

.

“I believe that one of the biggest reasons that the body of Christ hasn’t made a greater impact on our generation today is because of our failure to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Without a doubt, Jesus and the first apostles used the gifts like a bell, calling men to their message and confirming that God was truly the One speaking through them”. Andrew Wommack

.

Hebrews 2:3-4 says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” The Lord bore witness to the accuracy of their message through miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

.

In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said all true believers would flow in the miraculous: “And these signs will follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

.

The vast majority of preaching  and Christian living done in the name of the Lord today is still really without the power of the Holy Spirit manifest through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. This was,  is not the way the Lord Jesus Christ had intended it to be.for sure..No one can have an effective life or ministry without the power of God’s Holy Spirit working in him or her. This fact can’t be argued by anyone who truly believes the Bible is God’s Word. The Scriptures are replete with proof that it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zech. 4:6). It is  true that the Holy Spirit is still willing to move as in biblical times  then there is no excuse for living lives so far removed from that great  victory portrayed in God’s Word.

.

If a Christian’s life isn’t full of the personal supernatural, it’s a pretentious one rather. Now  the gifts of the Holy Spirit are always flowing.as  God doesn’t turn them “on” and “off.” We are the ones who turn them  “on” or “off.”   The Lord Jesus Christ  is always ready to flow through us in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. No one has received everything that the Holy Spirit has for them. Therefore, the Lord is always seeking to release more to us through His supernatural gifts. Whenever we put ourselves in a mode to be His channel, His gifts will flow

.

Most  churches have fallen away from ministering in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts that operate even in in most “Spirit-filled” churches are simply words of exhortation or prophecy. There is much more even here . that should be manifested.

.

1 Corinthians 12:31, “But covet earnestly the best gifts.”

.

1 Corinthians 14:1, “Desire spiritual gifts.”

.

You do also still  have to seek these gifts with all your heart (Jer. 29:13).  Thus that  also includes the nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit and  the Spirit of Truth, Holiness, Wisdom, of the Fear of the Lord, of Counsel, Spirit of Grace and the Spirit of Knowledge.

.

There are nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit. “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing(s) by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:” (1Corinthians 12:8-10)

.

There are still nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit today even.  So seek after and learn to sue them all, The nine Gifts are often separated into three groups.

.

The first group is commonly referred to as the Power Gifts.  They are called the Power Gifts because they DO something.  They are:  The Gift of Faith, the Gifts of Healings and the Working of Miracles.

.

The second group is commonly referred to as the Revelation Gifts.  These are Gifts that REVEAL something.  They are:  The Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge and the Discerning of Spirits.

.

The third group is commonly referred to as the Utterance Gifts.  This is because they SAY something.  They are:  The Gift of Prophecy, the Gift of Tongues and the Gift of Interpretation of Tongues.

.

Of course you can expect the devil and his followers to try to mislead you, distract you, turn you away from your seeking.. just perish on forward in it.The truth is that denial of the Holy Spirit’s  ministry and power of the Holy Spirit is the devil’s  theology along with his other lies now too such as that alcoholics are not responsible for their actions, depression is a chemical imbalance, abortion is ok, and homosexuality is genetic.

The false death of the Full Gospel in North America  ” SO WHEN AND WHY DID FULL GOSPEL DIE IN NORTH AMERICA? When sin killed it..

About those hirelings now fleecing the sheep

Much of the money earmarked for tsunami relief even never made its way to victims

.
Imagine that one is still too often robbed in the house of God, in the church still were there too often is no accountability or transparency. Most pastors who  do ask people to give money obviously do not just have a lack of financial transparency but also they  do not give  1/7, any portion it to the poor people.   https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2014/10/10/tithing-2/
.
In fact, most Evangelical Sheep do not believe they can go to hell, and they are not saved, less than 30 percent are even, as a direct result they  these days do not believe that Man has a fallen nature since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. Yes this  is mostly a direct result of the devil, and the Humanistic Psychology Self-Esteem Movement of the past four decades with its emphasis on the Basically Good Nature of Man and the good nature of God. And the false shepherds told them all of these lies that they the sheep  wanted to hear to get their money.  As a result, there exists still  a pervasive corrupted view that “man is basically good but he occasionally screws up.” This Humanistic error enables this very  Fatal Fraud – that all of the Shepherds are good, and they only have the best interests of Sheep at heart. For Sheep this is a Dangerous and Deadly Deception since undeniable Many shepherds are hirelings and they have never ever been called by God personally into the Ministry, at least 70 percent of the shepherds are false as those in the Ministry quickly find out firsthand ..

Many people think that the end times  biblical prophecies about the end of the world and the Battle of Armageddon are  You know, for  the weirdoes, religious fanatics ,  societal oddballs, extremists, those persons who afraid to face life ahead of  them and falsely now do look for an escape from it. ISN’T THE LOVE OF MONEY, THEIR FILTHY GREED   IT IS VERY EVIDENT OF THESE SO CALLED PREACHERS, OR HIRELINGS WHO PROMOTE GOD’S SUPPOSED TRUTHS FOR MONEY?
 .
 Now don’t you think that something spiritually important as this, so essential as this, would be available freely to all rather.
 .
 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
 .
In reality even these days many Christians SADLY themselves have never studied what the Bible actually says about these God given, Holy Spirit equipped, gifted men, offices to the Christian Church Universal by God, so they too are ignorant, they do not know, they are even confused about the role that they all should play.    Because they often wrongfully leave it to others to read the Bible for them too they thus are too easily deceived by the imposters, cults, sects, wolves in sheep clothing, false teachers, false prophets, false elders too.
 .

One thing for sure I have observed that where there are sheep now there are also many wolves, for where there are real Christians there are also the  pretenders amongst them now, today as well. The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing do now show up for all kind of reasons even to seduce the sheep. They masquerade as pastors,, assistant pastors, elders, youth ministers, Bible college students now as well.
 .
Many people have OFTEN conveyed to me that they are dismayed that there are  Crooks still  in the church as well? And they ask why the clearly bad pastors and bad pastors allow these crooks to remain in their midst.  Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you what you are like yourself now too..
 .
It is a very sad reality that even these days in the churches  that up to 70 percent of the pastors have not been called by God, they are imposters, hirelings and are not genuine shepherds of the flock. As a result many of them falsely resort to a dictatorial, abusive or hierarchy church structure and they demand falsely AND  force submission, and of course they even abuse their flock… they do now even cheat, lie, steal, slander, wrongfully counsel divorce.. . many people are surprised at this and do not know what to do.. Recognize, admit the sad truth and shout their sins from the housetops. They are not real, loving shepherds called by God..
 .
Some  falsely seem to think that just cause a person  professes to be good person, a follower of Christ that he or she is to be believed now and that they  will do good and not bad.. How easily they also do forget about the Judas type persons, those persons who love money the root of all evil, and the things money can supposedly buy for them, sell themselves for money to the devil,  but their mostly stolen too money it does not buy permanent happiness for even them.. Nor do most people who win lotto find permanent happiness, but rather more misery it seems.
 .
But a close examination daily reveals these pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing really have not changed, they are self centered, unloving, tend to lack compassion and consideration for any others.
.
Have you ever wondered how some pastors start a church and then become wealthy living in flash houses and driving luxury cars? So how they do it, extracting money from their congregations to fund their lifestyles. All decent Christian pastors would find these techniques repugnant.
 .
Like Judas reaching into the money bag, the sad reality is that too many of the Christian pastors steal from God’s people.
 .
Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. – 2 Corinthians 2:17a
 .
The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing even the Judas Iscariot is noted in history as the one who betrayed Him (Jesus). Yet Judas was first numbered among the Twelve apostles (Luke 6:13, 22:3; Acts 1:16-17 numbered with us), “chosen” by Christ Himself, so how next did the “Apostle Judas” became also the traitor? What drove him to his immoral acts. The reality is that he had never died to self or to the love of money too.
 .
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. 12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
 .
Jesus kicked out the money changes out of the temple for these wolfs in sheep’s clothing have been a blight on Christianity throughout its history. The strategy of the losers, the false Hirelings, false Prophets, is still their false pursuit of power, fame, money. “With all this being said, they take message and build a real Kingdom business and they package it and collect money form the related information, music, preaching service, copyrights . They find different modalities to sell as they write a book, produce a video or audio series, lead a webinar teaching series, seminar, or start a membership site. The much too many the tricks in making money for oneself is that they also become an affiliate, part of a mutual networking referral group, and thus this also give them a chance to make commission money from their peers
 .
I strongly support the existence of good church shepherds, good church pastors, good elders,  who visit their flock,  provide help to them, do  keep vigilance, guard over them and their good welfare, visit them in the Hospital too. These acts clearly distinguishes them from the much too many bad pastors, rather pastoral prostitutes or hirelings WE SEEM TO STILL ENCOUNTER EVEN THESE DAYS. * Bad men who were not chosen by God to be shepherds, but rather self appointed even for many wrong  reasons. And the term pastors in the Bible is rather a plural one meaning the local church should have many of them now too. Not just a false one man dictatorial ministry.
.

AS To How TOO MANY Pastors, so called Christian leaders falsely now do TRY TO “Get Rich”.. cause they are hirelings, prostitutes.. just like Apostle Judas.. or Esau WHO sold his birthright..

.

Mat 26:14  Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,  :15  And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.  16  And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

(Heb 12:16 KJV)  Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

 Jude 1:11  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.  12  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;  13  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

.

Bad churches and so called Christian  leaders,  bad pastors love to bash others, criticize other and to make false claims they are the best, special, different from all the rest. They also seem to often demand money for further support because they are despised, persecuted for proclaiming their truths, truths  which are mostly still lies, false hoods, distortions.

.

LOOK at some of  these methods certain pastors use to get rich off God’s people.

The strategy of the losers, the  false Hirelings, false Prophets, is still their false pursuit of power, fame, money.   “With all this being said, they take  message and build a real Kingdom business and they   package it and collect money form the related  information, music, preaching service, copyrights . Jesus kicked out the money changes out of the temple for these wolfs in sheep’s clothing have been a blight on Christianity throughout its history.

.

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father’s house into a market!” – John 2:13-16

.

The multilevel marketing approach. Example sell toothpaste or web sites or whatever, and then recruit people under you doing the same, taking a cut from their sales. Soon you may be so rich that you can buy a flash European car and maybe give stacks of money to Godly causes.

That dream of the dream’s leaders works solely  for the false leaders .Do you often see how rich our leaders are? They made all their money by following the false  dream they preach, saying next that you can too. Except, that it’s a curse upon you coming forth.

These leaders did not become wealthy by following the dream, instead they became wealthy by building up a group of people who believe passionately in the dream, and then selling dream-promoting wares to this captive audience.

They did not become rich by selling toothpaste; they became rich by hyping dream-promoting books, tapes, DVDs, and conferences to their own private market of dream believers. They become rich of the tax free donations..

This same pattern is practiced by some Christian leaders and their churches. The dream is the prosperity gospel. Their captive market is their congregation. The products are, well you guessed it: books, tapes, DVDs, and conferences, and t-shirts, and most ominously spiritual rewards and the prevention of spiritual punishments.

These leaders use their faked “success” to promote a distorted gospel which basically says: “tow the line obeying the leaders buying whatever we tell you to buy, and donate money whenever we tell you to donate, and then God will pour riches into your life.” They tell us that they became successful by following this dream, but in reality they became rich by sucking money out of those caught up in the buzzing environment where this distorted gospel seems real. You can see man crooks like this even these day who falsely line their pockets with money that ought to have stayed with God’s people or gone to legitimate good Christian works. Not to these these spiritual vampires, wolves..

The threatening sales pitch includes. “This is your spiritual home, you can’t go to another church. You must be loyal.” But the Bible does not teach that Christians are bound to their local church organization, this idea is foreign to Scripture. We are only bound to Jesus Christ

Their Books. The first product is the leader’s book (often ghostwritten and fraudulently claimed to be authored by the leader). These books would tank on Amazon or in a real bookstore, but hyped to their captive market they sell like hot cakes.

Next comes the ever popular DVD videos, tapes. Most of which are videos of the leader preaching in his church on a certain topic. Let me ask you a question, is it ethical for a leader who has been paid by his church to prepare and deliver a sermon, to then take that performance and sell it back to his own church members for a healthy profit?

But, these DVDs are hyped and hyped, and the captive audience buy stacks of them. In the worst money hungry churches you’re expected to buy them, and it is noticed if you don’t.

Hyped Conferences The hype for these conferences start months before hand. Other church members look at you strangely if you are thinking about not going. What, you can’t afford the huge entry fee? What’s wrong with you, don’t you love God? Don’t you want to be blessed? Don’t you want to be successful and wealthy? Don’t you want to be part of us? Because you won’t be, unless you go to THE CONFERENCE!

And Jesus had conferences too, don’t forget, like the Sermon on the Mount, where He charged, oh, he didn’t charge anything for that spiritual teaching. In fact it was free wasn’t it? Hmmm.

And why are they so expensive? Where does all that money go? Well,

There is a Christian speaking circuit, just like there is a motivational speaking circuit. The circuit has no formal structure like say a football league, but rather is like an exclusive network or an old boys club.

It is unbelievable what some of these speakers expect from the Body of Christ. I would not like to be in their shoes if they finally meet our Lord,

Businesses like: bookshops. The bookshop is the most common, often located inside the church itself.

Members in the church who show loyalty to their pastor’s businesses are rewarded, often with increased standing in the church. Members who refuse to use the pastor’s businesses are frowned upon.

The Honor The Pastor Scam To get more favor the inner-ring will employ many favor-currying measures, one of which is a scam called “Honoring the Pastor”. It works this way, the inner-ring will figure out what the pastor would like, say for his birthday. Then the inner-ringers will squeeze the outer-ringers for the money to buy this item.

High Pressure Offerings Another way the pastor uses his inner-ring to extract cash, is via high pressure offering talks in the church services.

and in these churches the giving will not be in secret but people will be expected to come up the front so that everyone can see how much they give. Or people will be watched to see if they put anything in the offering container as it is passed down the aisles.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. – 2 Corinthians 9:7

Cathedral Building Wars Like the cathedral building wars in the middle ages where cities and countries vied against each other to build the most impressive cathedral. T

Siphoning donations into one’s personal Property Is it ethical for the pastor (or his company or trust) to own property that the church is paying for? Of course not. Many pastors take property that was given to the church by persons who had died and keep it for themselves rather. I met a pastor who told me he as a result owned 5 homes now.

Another variation on this scam is the church trust is being used and controlled by the pastor and his family, and they practised tax evasions by having Church members falsely even pay for their own rents, personal electrical utilities and heating bills..

Some of these pastors are very clever in how they hide the money trail. But ultimately if church money is paying for an asset the pastor owns, except via his wages of course, then it is almost certainly wrong. Imagine the furor if a politician was caught siphoning off government money into property or assets owned by himself.

Excessive Wages I believe it is reasonable to assume that Paul the Apostle meant only fair wages, not excessive wages, and that Paul would have agreed with what Peter the Apostle wrote:

To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. – 1 Peter 5:1-3

Obviously one of the ways greedy pastors can extract money from God’s people is via excessive wages. The amount of which they will often decide themselves, or have conferred on them by their sycophants (via the church board, or the church wages review committee, for example).

If your pastor refuses to be open about his wage then be very suspicious. It is likely he knows that the amount would be considered excessive. If it is excessive, then watch him dodge the issue like a sweaty politician.

Be even more suspicious whenever you hear a pastor’s wage being justified by comparing him to a CEO. If you hear this CEO nonsense then you can instantly know two things: first, the pastor’s wage is massive; second, you are being scammed. A pastor is not a CEO no matter how big his church empire is; a CEO runs a for monetary-profit organization, a pastors serves the people of God – they are not the same thing.

By the way, if the pastor claims to be a CEO, then you must be a shareholder. Shareholders have full rights to the accounts, including how much their “CEO” is earning.

Find out how much your pastor is paid. If he will not reveal the information then stop giving to that church until it is revealed. Especially stop if you hear any of this “CEO” rubbish.

Expensive leased cars, holidays, clothing allowances, spending money, restaurant meals, hotels, flights, and expense accounts, are some of the false perks demanded by these luxury smitten pastors.

Some say that if they are preaching the “prosperity gospel”, then they have to appear prosperous to “walk their talk”. But of course that is a deception. They are using God’s money to misrepresent how wealthy they are, to help prove their false teaching works. Despicable.

Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. – 2 Corinthians 4:2

What is worse, many of these churches make their members complicit in this deception. Members are instructed to wear expensive clothes and groom themselves in the manner expected of the rich. They are encouraged to buy (or lease) the most impressive car they can afford. Members are required to appear happy and successful. The excuse given is that the appearance of success breeds success, but this is nonsense, more likely it breeds significant debt. The real reason the leaders want their church members to appear successful is to trick others into thinking that the prosperity dream that they preach really works.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grief’s. – 1 Timothy 6:3-10

Nepotism A church isn’t a family business you know; it is a family, but it’s not a business. One church i went to had 28/31 positions held by relatives

Are the pastor’s relatives high up in the church? Are they the ones with the most powerful positions? Then that is nepotism. A good church will choose the very best people for the job, while a bad church will reward those closest to the pastor with the lucrative positions of power.

If you see nepotism, then that is a sign that something is very wrong.

Your Counter Strategy: expose it and stop giving to that church until the pastor’s little family fiefdom is disassembled.

.

Fabricated Tithing Doctrine But Tithing is no no longer applicable..
Question this doctrine and watch these money hungry pastors bare their fangs. This is a teaching that they will bear no compromise on. Tithing, or at least their own version of tithing, is their one true love.

.

The New Testament Church did not tithe.
The New Testament does not teach tithing for Christians.
Their favorite Malachi verses cannot be used for Christians since Christians are not under the law of Moses.
Abraham’s one off tithe of his war booty did not set up a precedent for Christians to regularly tithe their income.
The version of tithing they teach cannot be found in Scripture (see below).
The “Storehouse” in Malachi cannot be equated to your local church organization.
There are plenty of rich (money wise) Christians who do not tithe. This would be impossible if their version of tithing was true.
The New Testament teaching is that you decide how much to give, and there are no rules about where it goes. You cannot be compelled to give.

.

It may come as a surprise to learn that their tithing doctrine is a combination of twisted scriptures and wishful thinking,

.

“Christians must give ten percent of their gross income only to their church organization. If they do, then God will bless them for any offerings they make to the church organization beyond this ten percent. But if they do not give ten percent gross, then they are stealing from God and God will curse them.” is a great big lie still

.

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. – Romans 7:6

.

know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. – Galatians 2:16

.

All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” – Galatians 3:10

.

New wine should not be put into old wine skins, nor should new unshrunk cloth be used to patch an old garment; if you think you need to obey the law of tithing then you need to obey the whole law (or you will be cursed, Galatians 3:10).

.

What is more, this tithing doctrine they teach isn’t found in either the New or Old Testament. Tithing in the old testament does not match what these false pastors preach – People who collected tithes were not allowed to own tangible properties, such as cars, homes etc.. and in fact 1/7 of the tire was to be given to the local poor people which not tithing collecting pastors parties even

.

Tip: Churches that push this erroneous tithing doctrine will often try to enforce tithing via written agreements (called covenants), and also by monitoring what people give (so they can compel them to give more if they are not meeting the ten percent target). First, grasp that these “covenants” are illegitimate and not worth the paper they are printed on, because they contain false doctrine (like tithing) and set up the pastors as a false authority over you. God would not be party to a covenant that contains falsehoods, therefore God was not party to the covenant you were pressured to sign, therefore you are free from this burden.

.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. – 2 Corinthians 9:7

.

These bad pastors are not only money hungry, but often power hungry too but even sex maniac due to their visible uncontrolled lusts now . They want to be both pastor and master. They commit the sin of the Pharisees and appoint themselves as middle men between God and you. They seek to replace the Holy Spirit in your life. They “lord it over” their flocks.

.

Using the connection they claim to have with God they falsely do even threaten you with the stick of spiritual curses if you disobey them, and dangle the carrot of spiritual blessings if you comply. They seek to dominate your life; often implying that they have say in where you work, where you fellowship, who you marry, and of course, when, where, and how much you should give. Listen to them and you will be cursed.. will go crazy..

.

This is a false spiritual authority not supported by Scripture. it is quite devilish (the desire to control and dominate others).I am a slave to no man or women.

.

In these pastor’s prosperity teaching, obeying the pastor and giving money are the two pillars necessary for a successful Christian life. If you sit back and think about it, you will quickly see what a con it is all solei for their own benefit…

.

These men want to be at the head of everything, they want to dominate you, they want to be seen as the big man, and some even secretly desire adoration (almost worship). This is the opposite of true Christian leadership: Sainthood.

.

Also a dispute arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. – Luke 22:24-27

.

I call God as my witness that it was in order to spare you that I did not return to Corinth. Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm. – 2 Corinthians 1:23-24

.

Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. – Mark 10:42-44

.

Apostle, Prophets, pastors Threatening people with curses if they do not obey or donate is not only false spiritual extortion but it is demonic and contrary to the nature of grace and the person of Jesus.

.

Don’t be afraid of these men. Ignore their bluster. Grow a backbone and stand up to them.

.

Sad that the cults and these money focused churches abound where these bad leaders, pastors see their congregation as farm animals to be milked.

.

To summarize what we have learnt about the methods money hungry pastors use to feed off their flock: We discovered the multilevel marketing pattern that these often ex-salesmen (not theologians) model their churches. We examined some of the products they sell into their captive market like books and DVDs. We unhyped the hyped conferences, and expose the money hungry Christian speaking circuit. Next we talked about how spiritually dishonest pastors set up their own businesses that their followers are expected to patronize. After that came the scam of “honoring the pastor” with gifts of luxury items. We delved into the high pressure offering mini-sermons that are designed to guilt people into giving. We examined how most of the money gained is used to build the pastor’s modern day cathedrals, projects that their fragile egos demand. We exposed the scam of siphoning the church’s cash into properties and assets owned by the pastor. We covered the obvious points of excessive wages and extravagant perks, and that was followed by the not so obvious problem of nepotism. Their big daddy came second to last – their fabricated tithing doctrine was exposed for what it is, a fraud. Finally we discussed the spiritual carrot and stick of the false authority that the pastors claim.

.

There are other methods these guys use to extract money from churches. However there are some good churches who do not practice these methods.Go to a good church always.

.

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God. – 2 Corinthians 2:17. Therefore, can we conclude that men who peddle the word of God for profit are not sent from God?

Billy Graham is a false Hireling who hires ghost writers to do his sermons.. The Reverend Mel White is a homosexual activist who lives with his male lover, Gary Nixon, in Dallas, Texas. “I am gay, I am proud, and God loves me without reservation,” White recently told David Calker, a Los Angeles Times reporter. White, who “pastors” a militantly gay church, is also a writer of many Christian books. But though he’s the author, his name doesn’t appear on the front covers. Instead, a Christian celebrity’s name appears on each of Mel White’s books. White is what the book industry fondly calls a “ghostwriter.”  However, you’ll search in vain to find author Mel White’s name on either the cover or the title page of the books he wrote for Billy Graham. Nor is Mel White’s name openly connected with Jerry Falwell’s books. “It was important,” White now reveals, “that Jerry Falwell not be scandalized because his biographer was a queer.” Ghostwriter White also wrote Pat Robertson’s book, America’s Dates With Destiny but the gay reverend is not the only “ghost” whom the veteran host of TV’s The 700 Club has used for his chart topping books. Reportedly, Robertson’s recent #l Christian bestseller, The New World Order, was also ghostwritten by a CBN staffer.  http://www.scionofzion.com/ghost_writers.htm
.
Now what’s to be done about the lucrative, yet unethical and dishonest, practice of the ghostwriting of Christian books? I believe it is time for some truth telling. Thomas Nelson, Word, and all the other wealthy conglomerates who disguise themselves as “Christian” publishers should step up to the plate and give us a list of which books have been written by “ghosts” and which were really penned by the authors listed on their covers. That’s the least they should do to come clean. Better yet, these greedy publishing houses and their celebrity stable mates should quit trying to fatten their coffers and make bucks off gullible Christian readers. They should cease their publishing of ghostwritten books entirely.
.
My concern is that here’s how things like this continue to work: Franklin Graham (or Franklin and his sister Anne Graham Lotz) have an agenda (in all three of these cases, “traditional marriage”), they get a BGEA copywriter to draft the text, then a BGEA graphic designer does the layout (in the case of the ad), Franklin approves the copy and/or design, then Franklin drives out to Little Piney Cove (Billy’s cabin home outside of Asheville, N.C.) and holds the piece of paper in front of Billy and asks, “Daddy, can we publish this?” And Billy nods (or whatever he’s capable of doing at this point in his life), and Franklin goes back and publishes this stuff with his good father’s name all over it.  Billy Graham is 95 years old, in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease (among a host of other age-related ailments). He’s been having fluid drained from his brain on a regular basis for over a decade. When I worked for BGEA and Mr. Graham was still leading evangelistic crusades around the country, it was well-known that all of his sermons, articles, letters and books were ghostwritten — and had been for quite some time. You are such an Ignorumus too.. Billy Graham and his son stole money.. undeniably..  IT’S TO BE NOTED FRANKLIN’S GRAHAM’S REAL TOTAL COMPENSATION AND PERSONAL USE OF HIS COMPANY PLANE IS STILL A REAL PROBLEM TODAY AND NED GRAHAM’S PROBLEMS HAVE PROBLEMS! ALSO BILLY GRAHAM’S REPORTED ANNUAL SALARY FROM THE BGEA FINANCIAL STATEMENT IS OVER $ 200,000 AND IN REALITY IS ABOUT $450.000.
.
What can you say? They are not real Christians but hirelings,  a wealthy businessman. That certainly doesn’t match up with most Americans’ idea of a pastor, but it’s simply reality many  false pastors-they write books, do speeches, get rich,  and do want to enjoy their   wealth on earth.   http://thenonconformer.yolasite.com/index/hireling
.
Historically, Billy Graham’s deception is one of the ,,greatest” deceptions that has ever been perpetrated.  The Associated Press reported from M I N N E A P O L I S, Nov. 21,2000 – The Rev. Billy Graham, America’s best known evangelist, is stepping down from the head of the ministry he founded a half-century ago. His son, the Rev. Franklin Graham, has been named chief executive officer of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which was founded in 1950. The elder Graham, who turned 82 this month, will remain chairman of the board and hopes to conduct several crusades next year. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease about six years ago. He spent three months at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., earlier this year after a crusade in Nashville.  But the financial statements of Billy Graham Evangelist Association for the last ten years have shown that Dr. Billy Graham has taken a one hundred percent salary as chairman of BGEA. But it’s a fact that Dr. Billy Graham has not worked a hundred percent of the time and not even fifty percent.   So is this right for a man who is supposed to be “Mr. Integrity” to take a hundred percent salary, plus pension plus one hundred percent of other fringe benefits and compensations and works less than fifty percent of the time?
.
Grace Community Church, Southern Baptist Convention, in Auburn, Washington-which counted Ned Graham, his wife, and their two sons as members established in 1999 the fact that Ned Graham was an adulterer, alcoholic, wife abuser, and drug user and revoked Graham’s ministerial credentials. It directed Graham to stop using the title reverend.  Yet in a style reminiscent of Jimmy Swaggart, who refused to be defrocked by the Assembly of God denomination, Ned Graham left that congregation for another church.
.
Concerns about his rising financial compensation during tough economic times have prompted evangelist Franklin Graham to temporarily give up future contributions to his retirement plans at the two Christian charities he leads. As president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, he receives two full-time salaries and two retirement packages. Last year his total compensation from the two Christian ministries was $1.2 million. The size of Graham’s total 2008 compensation — $535,000 from Samaritan’s Purse and $669,000 from Charlotte, N.C.-based BGEA — drew questions from nonprofit experts. They doubted that one person — even the energetic, globe-trotting Graham — can do two full-time jobs when those positions are head of organizations that employ hundreds and spend hundreds of millions around the world. As head of the Boone, N.C.-based Samaritan’s Purse, Graham earned more last year than any other leader of an international relief agency based in the United States. That includes eight with larger budgets, according to data compiled by Guidestar, a group that monitors non-profits. Some charity watchers said they know of no other instance where one person leads two separate organizations. And they wondered whether it was possible to effectively do so. “It’s a very strange and somewhat unique situation … and it raises questions,” said Ken Berger of Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest evaluator of non-profits. Pablo Eisenberg, a senior fellow at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute said: “How can you do two full-time jobs at the same time? It’s outrageous.”  THE SCANDAL OF CHRISTIAN GHOSTWRITING Readers pay exorbitant prices for the books of Christian superstars, never knowing that the volumes are actually written by no-name “ghosts.” Among the big names pulling this stunt: Hal Lindsey, Chuck Colson, Jim Bakker, Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, Benny Hinn, John Ankerberg, Hank Hanegraaff, David Jeremiah and Jerry Falwell.”  And several of these men quickly circled their wagons and tried to come up with excuses. Charismatic faith healer Benny Hinn took the direct approach. He went on Paul Crouch’s Trinity Broadcasting Network and personally introduced his ghostwriter! Hinn gave the lame excuse that his books were anointed by God, but he just needed help in getting it all into words and into book form. Are some of the most cherished books in your personal Christian library written by ghostwriters, some of whom are even homosexuals, atheists, and New Agers . The Scandal of Christian Ghostwriting, has caused quite a stir. Some Christian celebrities who use ghostwriters are panic-stricken. Many are wiggling and squirming in discomfort. They are embarrassed that their money-making scam was finally unmasked for what it is: A deception on the buying public.
.
The total compensation of the heads of religious non-profit organizations including Evangelists Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, and Franklin Graham remains one of American’s best kept secrets bringing up the question if the prominent religious leaders in America have any integrity.The total compensation of the heads of religious non-profit organizations including Evangelists Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, and Franklin Graham remains one of American’s best kept secrets bringing up the question if the prominent religious leaders in America have any integrity. Unknown to most Americans is the fact that when religious non-profits organizations such as Benny Hinn, Robert Tilton or Bill Graham Evangelistic Organization get in trouble due to state audits, they just pick up their organization and move to another state and start all over again, for Non-profits organizations are incorporated by the state and not the Federal government. As a result Evangelist Robert Tilton moved his organization to Florida from Texas and Benny Hinn moved his organization to Texas from Florida. It’s a shell game!
.
One is so stupid not to listen to God over man.. Billy Graham lied and said Mormons are Christian too..  Billy Graham is also on record stating that people can have salvation through paganism (another name for witchcraft). For instance, in McCall Magazine (Jan. 1978) Graham stated, “I used to believe that pagans in far-off countries were lost–were going to hell. I no longer believe that. I believe that there are other ways of recognizing the existence of God–through nature, for instance.” Pagans believe that salvation can be obtained through nature.
.
We quote a paragraph from a letter sent to Billy Graham clear back in the 1950s by a Pastor who, grieved by what Billy Graham was doing to the harvest field, said: “Some people say that if you have just one convert in an evangelistic campaign, it is worth the meeting. That is not true. The evangelist, as the pastor and teacher, is given to the Body of Christ. The real test of an evangelistic campaign is not how many people are converted but what kind of a spiritual condition does it leave in a community. Billy Graham is not only failing in the number of people he leads to the Lord Jesus Christ in this day when hearts are hungry and most people are afraid of what may happen in the world and when it is easier to get people converted than it ever has been in my lifetime, but Billy Graham is pulling the limbs off of the evangelistic trees and the orchard is being left in bad condition. As we have often said, the real test of an evangelist is not just how many converts he has but does he leave the orchard in condition so it will keep bearing fruit.”
.
Another prime example is prophecy teacher Hal Lindsey. Very few people know that Lindsey’s mammoth bestseller, “The Late, Great Planet Earth,” was actually written by a woman, Carla Carlson. To his credit,
Lindsey has publicly admitted this. The question remains, however: Who is Carla Carlson? Why was she involved in writing Lindsey’s book? Why is her name not highlighted on the cover, in bold letters equally as large as those of Hal Lindsey? And finally: Are all of Hal Lindsey’s books similarly written by unknown ghostwriters?

about the “The New Covenant”

Now about the law..

Keep all the commandements of God in the old testament? but that was the old testament.. have you yet rightfully rather made the transition to the New Testament? no circumcission or tithing required too.. only Love God, love others, be not drunk with wine, be filled with the Holy Spirit? It is all very simple Jesus said that now basically only two laws apply to all persons even.. 1 love God, and 2 love others, BUT NOW as well as 3 be filled with the Holy Spirit and all else will fall into place.
.
Tell me also if there is one Gospel, one Jesus Christ, one Holy Spirit now how come  come there are thousands of so called Christian denominations disagreeing with  each other these days still.. it is cause they are still clearly Bible ignorant, worshipping false and following the teaching of MERE MEN  over the what the Bible says for a start and personaly do not read the Bible or even know Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit still.. 95 percent of Christians do not read the Bible or pray  more than 5 minutes a day shows the basic Christian problem.. http://sacredtruths.wordpress.com/2012/02/04/god-can-speak-directly-to-you/
.
“I NEVER hear Him, God, PROPHETICALLY tell anybody to WITNESS for Jesus MORE, TESTIFY of Jesus to the SINNER more, or GET OUT and EVANGELIZE the LOST with the Gospel of Jesus Christ MORE?”  because  the Gospel basic is Love God, Love others, be filled with the Holy Spirit and then all else will follow. Iroincally most of the evangelicals I encounter do not  realy have love for others or the Holy S…pirit so how are they loving God too now?  The falsely do preach their partial  Gospel to others  out of guiilt then..  1 John 2:7  Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8  Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. :9  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth,

Jean-Louis Laflamme ~~~”The Biblical Explanation of…”The New Covenant”~~~

…”Early Christians may have been surprised that any biblical command including the sacrifices and rituals “could become unnecessary”. If God had given these laws, who could say that they were done away? Only one authority could do away with God-given commands: God. So let’s look to the New Testament to see the authority for doing away with any of God’s laws…

“The New Testament does not itemize all the valid Old Testament laws, nor all the obsolete ones. Some laws unclean meats, sin sacrifices, washings are mentioned; others tassels on garments, grain offerings are not. The New Testament quotes some Old Testament commands with approval; others are quoted as being old and inadequate or in need of replacement…Matthew 5:31-37…Commands from Leviticus and Deuteronomy are quoted as valid, for example, while other commands from the same sections are treated as obsolete. Some are moral and eternal; others are not…

…”Although the New Testament cites many individual Old Testament laws as valid, it does not specify a general category as permanently valid…”However”, when it declares laws “obsolete” it uses large categories. In Acts 15, it is “the Law of Moses.” In 1 Corinthians 9:20, it is “the law.” In Galatians 3:17, it is “the law” that came 430 years after Abraham, that is, at the time of Moses. In Ephesians 2:15 it is “the law with its commandments and ordinances,” the law that separated Jews from Gentiles”

“In Hebrews 8:13 it is the Sinai covenant. Although various terms are used, there is a consistency in what is meant. A large category of law is being declared obsolete. That does not mean that every command within the category is obsolete, but the package itself is…Let’s not forget that before Jesus came the old law was kept…but after Jesus came…the New Covenant was introduce by Jesus Himself…the old covenant was not in force any longer…Matthew 11:13, Galatians 3:19 and 24, Romans 10:4…Jesus became the newer law of the covenant…

…”What is the New Testament explanation for this significant change in divinely given laws?…It is a change in covenants, or the agreements between God and humanity…from the “Old Covenant” to the “New Covenant”…He became the “New Testament”…

“Why should the death of Jesus-Christ cause God-given laws to become outdated?… The Bible gives a simple explanation: Christ brought a new covenant. The book of Hebrews makes this clear in chapters 7 to 10. Although the focus in Hebrews is on the ceremonial laws relevant to the priesthood, the conclusion is more broadly stated, it is the covenant itself that is obsolete 8:13 A new covenant has replaced the Sinai-Moses covenant. The new covenant has some similarities to the old, but it is a new covenant…

…”Hebrews uses strong terms: laws are set aside, changed, abrogated, abolished, because one covenant has ended and another has begun. Of course, since the old and the new covenants were given by the same God, we should expect some similarities. We should expect moral laws to be found in both covenants. It should be no surprise that laws against adultery, which existed before Abraham, should also be included in the Sinai covenant, a later and larger package of laws. But we accept those laws as valid today not because they were given to Moses the fact that a law was given to Moses does not automatically make it valid, but for other reasons”…

“Paul tells us that the Law of Moses was a temporary addition to the Abrahamic promises…Galatians 3:16-25…The Sinai covenant, which includes civil laws and ceremonial laws, was designed to come to an end when Christ came. The Scriptures are not annulled, of course, but the laws there are no longer binding…

…”This is brought out especially clearly in the book of Galatians, chapters 3 and 4. Let’s go through these chapters verse by verse, to “make sure” that we are getting each verse in its context…

~~Galatians 3: the law and the Spirit~~
Paul, who had seen many things in his ministry, was flabbergasted with the Galatian Christians. He was aghast that they were being persuaded by a foolish idea. He wrote a strongly worded letter to stop this nonsense. In Galatians 3:1 Paul wrote: “You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus-Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.”

…”Here’s the starting point, Paul says: Jesus-Christ has been “crucified”. That is the foundation on which we build. His crucifixion changes everything, as Paul will explain…let’s keep on reading the bible…

“I would like to learn just one thing from you,” Paul writes…..”Did you receive the Holy-Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?” Galatians 3:2… Obviously, they received the Spirit through faith, by accepting what they heard. This is another foundational point. Paul was astounded that the Galatians did not see the consequences of their experience with the Holy-Spirit. But apparently someone was telling them that they were saved only if they observed “the law”…

…”Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Holy-Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?” Galatians 3:3…The Galatian Christians were apparently being taught that they needed to add the law to their faith. Many “False teachers” were saying that they needed to progress further in the faith by observing the Torah. They were teaching circumcision and the entire Law of Moses…Galatians 5:2-3; Acts 15:5…

“Paul says this is a ridiculous idea, if a person is given the Holy-Spirit on the basis of faith, without deserving this gift, then Christianity is based on faith, and there is no place for works as far as salvation is concerned. Paul will later comment on how Christians should behave in response to Christ’s work, but here he makes it clear that salvation is on the foundation of faith in what Jesus-Christ has done. Our goal “cannot be attained by human effort”, and that is “why Jesus died on the cross”… Whatever work had to be done, “He did on the cross”. That is our foundation!”…

…”Paul asks, “Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?”…Galatians 3:5…The people had seen miracles in their midst. And it came on the basis of faith, not of works of the Law…

“Paul then supports his argument from the Torah itself. “Consider Abraham,” he said, quoting from Genesis 15:6: “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Paul concludes, “Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham”…Galatians 3:6-7…

…”Paul’s point is that even in the Old Testament, a right relationship with God came through faith. Abraham was accounted righteous on the basis of faith, not because of his obedience. If we have faith, then we are accepted just as Abraham was!

“Can non-Jewish people really have a relationship with God on that kind of basis? Yes, says Paul, and he again quotes the Torah: “The Scripture foresaw that God would left the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you’” Galatians 3:8…The Torah says that non-Jews will be blessed through Abraham, and that blessing is by faith, not by the law. Abraham did not need to be given the Law of Moses, and his spiritual followers do not need it, either…..

…”Paul concludes, “Those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith” Galatians 3:9…”God’s blessing is by faith”…

~~~”The Law vs. faith”~~~
“The law brings penalties,not blessing. “All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law’” Galatians 3:10…The law is not a way to earn favor with God. It functions in the reverse way, since we all fall short of its demands. If we think we have to observe the Torah, if we want to be under the law, we will be under its condemnation…
…”No one is justified before God by the law, because, ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, ‘The man who does these things will live by them’”…Galatians 3:11-12…Paul is contrasting “faith and law”… Righteous people should live by faith…Habakkuk 2:4…but the law is based on performance…Leviticus 18:5…The law emphasizes human effort, but salvation is given by grace through faith in what Jesus-Christ has done…
“Law-keeping cannot earn us God’s favor. If we look to it, it can bring only a “curse” since we all fall short. But even in the curse, there is good news in the crucifixion of Christ: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree’”…Galatians 3:13… quoting Deuteronomy 21:23…The law demanded a penalty for law-breaking, and Jesus-Christ experienced the worst penalty of the law…….
…”Paul is using several lines of reasoning to show that Christians are not under the authority of the Law of Moses; we are not obligated to obey it. Not only is the law ineffective, bringing a curse rather than a blessing, “Jesus has also paid” its worst penalty…”His crucifixion”…gives Paul the basis for saying that Christians are not under the law…why can people understand that?…
“He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ-Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Holy-Spirit”…Galatians 3:14…The blessing is by faith as opposed to the law…
“God’s promise not changed by the Law”
Paul then argues from another angle, using the example of a contract. “Let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case”…Galatians 3:15…
…”Paul is talking about God’s promise to Abraham, which includes being accounted righteous by faith. He writes, “The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say ‘and to seeds,’ meaning many people, but ‘and to your seed,’ meaning one person, who is Christ”…Galatians 3:16…
“Here Paul notes that the word seed is singular. Although the singular word can be used for many seeds, Paul is saying that this scripture finds its fulfillment most perfectly in one Seed, Jesus-Christ. It is through him that Gentiles can become part of Abraham’s descendants…Galatians 3:29…
…”The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise” Galatians 3:17…What law is Paul talking about? The law given 430 years after Abraham, the Law of Moses. The laws that came through Moses cannot change the fact that God accepts people as righteous on the basis of faith, not by human efforts”…
“Paul then reasons, “For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise” …Galatians 3:18…Either it is one way or the other, either by laws and works, or by faith and gift. Paul does not try to combine the two. Rather, he is saying they cannot be combined…
~~~”Purpose of the Law”~~~
“Why did God give the law? Paul answers: “It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come”…Galatians 3:19…Were laws added because the people were already breaking them? Or were they added so that people could see more clearly that they were sinners? Either way, the Law of Moses was added for only a certain length of time until Christ came. After that, the Law of Moses became obsolete. The law added 430 years after Abraham became obsolete!”

…”Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law” Galatians 3:21…The law did not nullify the promise of salvation by faith, for it was not designed as another means of salvation. If there was any way possible for laws to bring us right standing with God, then God would have given us those laws. But the Law of Moses is not designed to give us eternal life…

“People who think they can improve their standing with God through the law are misunderstanding its purpose and are not accepting the biblical evidence that salvation is simply by faith, without any role for human efforts. We receive the Spirit by faith and are counted righteous by faith, without any need to add the Law of Moses…

…”The law cannot give life!”…because we all fall short of what it requires. “The Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe”…Galatians 3:22…Instead of giving life, the law prescribes penalties, and the result is that the promise of salvation can come only through God’s grace. The law makes it clear that we all fall short and need the salvation that Jesus offers by faith.

“But before faith in Christ came, “we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed”…Galatians 3:23…The Jews were under the restrictions of the law, under its temporary jurisdiction or custody…

…”So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith” Galatians 3:24…The law had authority from Moses until Christ. It showed that humans are prisoners of sin, unable to save themselves through human effort. It showed that salvation can be received only through faith, not by law…

“Now that the Law of Moses has fulfilled its purpose, however, it has become obsolete: “Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law”…Galatians 3:25…The Torah does not have authority over us. It is not a way to get right with God. It is not a way to enter his kingdom nor a way to stay in his kingdom nor a way to improve our standing with God…

…”Because of Jesus’ crucifixion, our relationship with God depends entirely on faith. “You are all children of God through faith in Christ-Jesus”…Galatians 3:26…

“Since Christ is the descendant of Abraham, and we belong to Christ, then we are also descendants of Abraham and inheritors of the promise of salvation…Galatians 3:29…Through faith in Christ, we inherit the promise given to Abraham by faith!

…”When it comes to inheriting Abraham’s promise, there is neither Jew nor Greek all ethnic groups may inherit. In Christ, even slaves can receive an inheritance from Abraham. In salvation, there is likewise no difference between male and female all have equal rights to inherit the promise…Galatians 3:28…

~~~”Gentiles no longer slaves”~~~
“Gentiles, who were not under the Law of Moses, also become inheritors through Christ, so at this point Paul begins to use the word you again: “Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father.’ So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir”…Galatians 4:6-7…
…”Since God had given the Holy-Spirit to these Gentile Christians, that was proof that they were his children, with the right to inherit the promise. They were no longer slaves under a restrictive authority. But what kind of slavery had Jesus redeemed them from?…
“Paul explains: “Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods”…Galatians 4:9…They had been enslaved by pagan religions…
…”But now that you know God or rather are known by God how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?” The Gentile Christians, having been rescued from slavery, were thinking of returning to bondage. They wouldn’t have put it in those words, of course, but Paul is pointing out that this is what it amounts to…
“Paul uses the uncommon Greek word stoicheia here for principles of the Galatian heresy, the same word he used in Galatians 4:3…for the slavery “we” had under the old covenant “basic principles.” The context of the letter makes it clear that the slavery the Galatians were falling back into was an obligation to old covenant customs…
…”Paul then mentions one way they were falling back into servitude: “You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!”…Galatians 4:10…In a heresy that involved circumcision and the Law of Moses, it is not difficult to guess what sort of days, months, seasons and years were being advocated. The old covenant said a lot about special times…
“Hagar is here associated with the old covenant, the covenant made at Mount Sinai and in Paul’s day centered in Jerusalem. This covenant produces slave children, and all who are under the old covenant are in slavery. Paul was flabbergasted as to why the Galatians were being tempted to fall into this slavery, an old covenant slavery that included the observance of special days and months and seasons and years…Galatians 4:9-10…
…”But Christians are not under the old covenant. “The Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother…. Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise”…Galatians 4:26, 28…Christians are children of Abraham’s promise, and are free, which means, in this context, free of old covenant restrictions…
~~~”Eliminate slavery”~~~
Paul then points out another useful application of the analogy: “The son born in the ordinary way..Ishmael..persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit..Isaac.. It is the same now”…Galatians 4:29…That is, the Jewish children of the old covenant were persecuting the children of the new covenant. The Judaizers were pressuring the Gentile Christians to conform to the old covenant…

…”Paul then makes his point, again from the Scriptures that the people respected: “But what does the Scripture say? ‘Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son’” Genesis 21:10…The application is clear: Get rid of all those who teach the old covenant. Do not listen to them, for they will not inherit the promises of Abraham …Galatians 5:2…

“Paul is struggling for the spiritual survival of the Galatian Christians. He does not mince his words or beat around the bush. Rather, he makes it clear: The old covenant is slavery and you must get rid of it. Christian life is not found in the old covenant…

…”Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman”…Galatians 4:31…We are children of the new covenant, not the old. We cannot have both we must choose the new…

~Scripture says that a large category of law is obsolete~
~Paul says that salvation is by faith, not law~
~Law can only declare us guilty, not rescue us~
~The law cannot affect the promise of salvation by faith~
~The law of Moses was designed to be temporary~
~Being obligated to the law of Moses is like slavery~

Some   Christians today interpret Romans 11:26 as applying to the end of the seven-year tribulation when Jesus appears in the clouds at His Second Coming. In other words, they don’t apply the verse to all Jews throughout history, but only to “all Jews” who are alive at the end. Supposedly, at the end of the tribulation, all remaining Jews in Israel will look up, see Christ coming in the clouds, realize He is the true Messiah, believe in Him, and thus “All Israel will be saved.”This is a false teaching, Rather the immediate context of Romans 11:26 is vs. 25. When “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,” then “all Israel will be saved.” Or, to be exact, “And so all Israel will be saved.” In other words, the coming in of the fullness or total number of the Gentiles results in “all Israel” …being saved. Paul’s idea seems to be that when all Gentiles (totally, throughout history) have come in, that is, have been grafted into the Vine, they, uniting with all Jews who have become believers, will form the total number of the saved.The Israel of God is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:29). The “all Israel that is saved” does not apply to all Jews throughout history, nor can it apply to a select favored group who become instant believers when Jesus Christ comes crashing down through the sky. By that time, it is too late to believe.  https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/jews-and-their-own-need-of-salvation-by-jesus-christ-still-too/
Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well.. I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. Clearly some bad people falsely still DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the realy bad persons especially as even I know this for sure as they falsely refuse the whole to be shared even as as to who they are firstly. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, immoral, abusive bullies. https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2012/04/11/now-about-the-abusers-bullies-thugs-proud-oppressors-war-mongers/

(Neh 1:11 KJV)  O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Pentecost, Pentecostals and love

It is amazing to me how the basic Christians issues are so commonly discussed and yet too often really personally unknown still including the subject of hearing the voice of the Lord
.
Complete and total reliance on the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Christ, and leading, the gifts of the holy spirit is what generally separates the Pentecostal Christians from the rest of Christendom http://?postedat.wordpress.com/?2008/09/09/?the-pentecostal-movement/
.
Firstly 1 Cor. 13:8 “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.”
.
People need to stop reading into the Bible that which is not there, the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives will cease when the perfect comes, when the perfect Jesus Christ returns to earth to claim it as his own even ,then when we see him face to face is what now the passages actually says.. we do not need speaking in tongues to talk to him or to hear him.. as simple as that too.
.
It is amazing to me that the Fundamentals, Evangelicals brethren, Baptists, Plymouth Brethren do try to make a point that showing love is an acceptable  alternative to being baptized in the holy  spirit, manifesting the gift of the holy Spirit. But this is realy hypocritical on their part when it is undeniable that this same bad group do kick out, divorce, hate, the Pentecostal believers in the midst, and Hatred is the opposite of the love of God.
.
YES A PERSONAL PENTECOST AND SALVATION ARE PART OF THE PACKAGE OF JESUS NEW EVERLASTING COVENANT
.
Acts 2:17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
2:18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
2:19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
2:21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.’
.
Regarding 1 Cor. 12: 29 – 30, not all people in a church can receive these gifts because of one overlooked fact: Not all people in a church have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit nobody can receive any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 12: 8 – 10; 1 Cor. 12: 10 – 12) nor can they be allowed to be a part of the 5-Fold Ministry (Eph. 4: 11) which is a different kind of gifting (domata). It is the arrogance of people and clergy who mistakenly or falsely tell people that they have received the Holy Spirit when they received salvation which in the Book of Acts only occurred in the house of Cornelius (Acts 10: 44 – 48). Paul mentions the two groups in the Corinthian Church who did not receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and therefore could not receive the Gifts and ministries that Paul mentioned (1 Cor. 12: 29 – 30). There were the unbelievers (apistos; apistoi) and outsiders or unlearned, unknowledgeable new believers (idiotes; idiotai) (1 Cor. 14: 23f) who by their foolish wisdom rejected the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The result was that we have the same problem today in churches where people arrogantly refuse the Holy Spirit and therefore they cannot have the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The proof of whether a believer has received the Holy Spirit is, of course, as Jesus said, “These signs will follow those who believe” (Mk. 16: 17 – 18; 20). No signs of the Holy Spirit, no Holy Spirit. They signs of “authenticity”. Without them, not every body can receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit nor can they be given the 5-fold Ministry.
.
Now if you personally are not Holy Spirit led, spirit led you undeniably now still do not realy have God’s peace, joy, miraculous provisions now too. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same burned forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Burned, Burned, burned!
.
TO ME IT IS SO FUNNY HOW SO MANY PEOPLE ACT LIKE THERE NEXT WILL BE NO PERSONAL JUDGEMENT OF THEM BY GOD (Gal 6:7 KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
.
The words that God spoke will happen the way God spoke them, but all that is written here (Bible) is not the word of God, its the words of men, that have recorded, some words of God sometimes. Our focus and our trust must be in Jesus, WE MUST BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. He gives His Holy Spirit to every man who accepts Him as MASTER and He guides them by His Spirit, NOT BY A BOOK! NEITHER BY OTHER PEOPLE.
.
Dear friend, YOU NEED TO HEAR FROM JESUS HIMSELF, His sheep LISTEN TO HIS VOICE and they follow Him. HIS VOICE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT. Have you received the Holy Spirit, and do you LISTEN to the Holy Spirit? Because, if you do not have the Spirit of Christ and you do not listen, YOU ARE NOT HIS SHEEP, YOU DON’T BELONG TO HIM! You need to pray, get on your knees and pray, ASK HIM to give you the Holy Spirit and guide you by His Spirit.
.
Face it the simplified Gospel preached today is a great lie..
.
BUT YOU KNEW THAT ALREADY DEEP INSIDE..
.
For God expects us all personally also to live the full Gospel… for there needs to be a real personal evidence, sign of it in our own life continuously too.. (Mark 16:17 KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mat 10:1 KJV) And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.(Luke 10:19 KJV) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 12:5 KJV) But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him (Acts 1:8 KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 10:38 KJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Rom 15:19 KJV) Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. (1 Cor 2:4 KJV) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
.
Jesus our Lord does still expects each of us personally to strive to live a proper Christian life at all times.
.
We thus personally are firstly here to serve God, to be his slaves, servants and we are not at all here to serve ourselves or only our families… this requires a disciplined personal spiritual life as well.
.
This ongoing Christian life solely starts by all of us personally abiding in God’s word daily, regularly, continually for it is an undeniable fact that sin will keep us from the Word and the Word will help us not to fall into sin.. for we really now too cannot be led by the Holy spirit of God if we are not abiding with Christ in his word.  http://pbulow.tripod.com/?faceit.htm
.
I was sitting in my local church two years when God spoke to me directly and said you really do not love this Pastor. Indignantly I replied “Lord what do you mean? I am sitting in his service”. God replied “you tolerate him but you do not love him for if that was your local past pastor in Montreal and he had sinned you would have rightfully ran into his office and asked him to repent, and this other pastor has now been sinning, lying, stealing, abusing others, even for years as you know and you have done nothing about it”. I replied “Lord God you are right please forgive me. And God help this pastor to repent”. A few days later God said now go to speak to the pastor and ask him to repent. But God I prayed you would do that, help him repent and God replied I am going to use you to answer your prayers.
EVEN PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES THESE DAYS ARE NOT PERFRECT
What is happening in the New Pentecostal Movements is what happened in all of the old denominations who used to be pentecostal in their beginnings: methodist, presbyterian, congregationalists, salvation army, alliance, baptists, the list is too long to mention.  They have conformed to the world (Rom. 2: 3).  They wanted to become respectable and acceptable regardless of the cost.  To stop being conformed to the word necessitates the use of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in ministry (Rom. 12: 3 – 8; 1 Cor. 12 – 14).  They replace the Gospel with religion which results in disregarding the Scriptures, New Testament,  which results in other so-called gospels and what Paul said to the Galatian Church, “O foolish Galatians!  Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portra…yed as crucified? Let me ask you this:  Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing in faith?  Are you so foolish? Having begun with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh?  Did you experience so many things in vain?—if it really is in vain.  Does He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?”  The first question in Greek should read, “Who have you allowed to bewitch you?”  The blame is on the person who turns way from the truth and not the person who has tempted them.  They, like denominations compromised and conformed to the world. most of these people just want a Saviour who makes no demands or has no expectations for them.  The do not want a LORD who has plans for their life to do the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit by receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the Signs Following and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Their rebellion comes out by the way that they reject the Holy Spirit and His works which is described “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you as being king” (1 Sam. 15: 23).  It is no wonder that so many churches are closing (Rev. 2: 5).
.
God still judges all people for what they do here on earth, and abusing another person is not a sin that God accepts lightly, even if you are a Pastor, elder, leader.. . Personal Repentance is always in order even for the evangelical pastors now too , yes as well as for those who do too often show a bad example by tax evasions, abusing others, counseling divorce now as well. Even if your pastor. elder, priest is the one that is sinning now rebuke him but in love.. if you do not rebuke him it is likely cause you do not love him too. (Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
.
(Psa 51:1 KJV) A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
.
Now I know that you too have too often met Spin Doctors, Ostriches who bury their head when you mention a negative fact, truth, the same unrealistic people who only want to hear positive uplifting messages where the negative reality does depress them, and these people can’t read most of the Bible cause it talks negatively about sin, sinners and personal negative consequences often too, such as judgments, hell. Should these rather now Politically correct persons or Ostriches be tolerated in the Church or asked now, ASAP to repent of their sins here?
.
.
Except for the Pentecostals, Most Christians today are soulish Christians and not spiritual Christians..
.
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
.
We now, after repenting on one’s sins, and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ’s forgiveness of all of our sins, and His resurrection and receiving the gift of the holy spirit, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with Speaking in tongues, we are no longer just body and soul but body, soul and spirit.
.
Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul [soul = nephesh in Hebrew]”
.
We saw that God formed man’s body of the dust of the ground. However, this body didn’t have life. It was just formed, without life. Then, the Word of God tells us that God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul”. Therefore, what is soul? Soul is what gives life to the body
.
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Mt.10:28
.
For the word of God is quick (zao alive), and powerful (energized or effective), and sharper (decisive at a single blow) than any two edged (This is symbolic of the superior mouth of Jesus Rev 1:16) sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
.
Man is a tri-partite being – spirit, soul and body. It is with his spirit that a man worships, and may contact God. The soul includes the conscious and subconscious minds, the realm of emotions and the will. Soul gives a man personality, self-awareness, rationality and natural feeling. The body is a complex physical creation by which a person relates to this world and to other people in the world. Ye MUST be born again” John 3:7 KJV “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
.
(John 3:5-6 KJV) The SPIRIT. This is the source of power and control for both your body and soul; it is either evil or good, darkness or light, unholy or Holy, unclean or clean, of Satan or of God: Sanctification begins when the spirit of man is recreated through the new birth (John 3:3). The majority of people in this world have their spirits “dead” to God (Ephesians 2:2). Our spirit, souls and bodies need to be offered to God. The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart” (Proverbs 20:27). Your spirit knows things that your mind does not. The Holy Spirit knows even more than our human spirits, and can enlighten us on any point should He wish to speak with us, as long as we are listening to Him. However, generally it is through the regenerated spirit of man that we know what is the way to go on a particular issue.
.
“But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.” (Luke 9:55 KJV)
.
Most non Pentecostal Christians too do play religion, they want God on their own terms, they want God a few minutes a day to ease their conscience but they basically do hate to walk continually with God all the time, everyday, mainly because they want to do their own sinful thing.. Jesus Christ is not Lord of their life ..
.
Did you know there are stupid deceivers who have formed a new Pentecostal Movement where you don’t have to speak in tongues like the first original or older Pentecostals movements? Why bother calling yourself a Pentecostals if you don’t speak in tongues or operate in the gifts of the Spirit because you are useless
.
It is the same old story there are Pentecostals pretenders who like all of the people to think they have the right religion, but it is a hollow form, a dead shell,, for they are still spiritually dead..
.
No wonder with that kind of attitude 60% of the Pentecostals don’t speak in tongues and 90 % don’t operate in the gifts of the Spirit
.
They are just religious persons.. playing church like many others of the so called Christians these days.thus they are still realy unhappy wandering in the dessert, trying to fill the God void in their life now with false junk, lies, etc…
.
TO ME IT IS SO FUNNY HOW SO MANY PEOPLE ACT LIKE THERE NEXT WILL BE NO PERSONAL JUDGMENT OF THEM BY GOD (Gal 6:7 KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

.
“If the MESSAGES aren’t GEARED towards the SALVATION of SINNERS and LIVING HOLY before God and people – then they’re GARBAGE and MUST BE TOSSED OUT!!!” But this still is a much too narrow Gospel and is not the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ, for what about the necessary Christian acts of serving one another in love, helping he poor and needy persons, doing good to all particularly those of the household of faith, visiting the sick even in Hospitals, visiting those persons in prisons, praying for the sick and needy persons to, Using the spiritual gifts.
.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Eye  hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. ttp://pbulow.tripod.com/?HolySpirit.htm

Why do the Holy Spirit gifts endure beyond the days of the early Apostles?
.
“Scripture teaches that the Holy Ghost was given for the spreading of the Gospel through the methods and power of Jesus. (Acts 1:8) The disciples preached while exercising the miraculous gifts of the Spirit! Paul confirmed, “Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.” (2 Corinthians 12:12) Today, we need no less than the primitive church. The needs of our age are equal to those of the first century. (I Cor. 10:18) Scripture never indicated that the gifts of the Spirit would be removed during the age of grace but rather affirmed a wonderful outpouring in these last days. (Acts 2:17-18) Therefore, we must seek God’s Pentecostal power to enable Christ-like ministry. Like great men throughout history we must lay hold of God’s Pentecostal anointing and thereby reach our lost generation!” “Remember that God has never changed and has always done the miraculous. On the day of Pentecost, God’s power was sent into His eternal temple. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Satan has been trying to destroy God’s house ever since. While Jesus is unchanging, Satan continually changes into every disguise to accomplish his deception. We can defeat him with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Ghost.
.
“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:39)”

.
Isaiah 28:11-12 “For with stammering lips and another tongue (Acts 2:4) will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.”

Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”

Jesus the savior of the world, as the Messiah is translated Christ, or the anointed one both by the Jews or gentiles and he goes by no other name.. and the people who are ashamed of this Greek, anointed name are leading you to a false Jesus.
.
Christian or not Rev. John MacArthur
.
I KNOW OF MANY PLYMOUTH BRETHREN WHO LEAN ON OTHER MEN TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE AND THEY FALSELY DO NOT LEAN ON THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR THEIR RIGHTFUL UNDERSTANDINGS SO THEY NOW FALSELY HATE OTHER CHRISTIANS. The false Demotion of the Holy Spirit, Jesus
.
.
..
Why do many fundamentals, Dispensationalists , Baptism, Jews, Judaizers, seventh day Advents falsely reject the truth about the Baptism of the holy Spirit..The light The light shines out of the darkness and the darkness does not comprehend it. Interesting the tithing, Jewish, cults generally do not believe in being filled, baptized with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues cause they live mostly under a very simplified old testament and the place where there is not such requirement.
..
IT IS LIKE THEM HAVING A FLU VACCINE, THEY NOW HAVE A PARTIAL TRUTH, BUT NOT THE FULL THING, SO THEY NOW THINK THEY HAVE IT ALL AND THEY DO NOT NEED ANYTHING ELSE ANYMORE, THEY HAVE BEEN DELUDED, DECEIVED, by the devil firstly FOR THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE FULLY HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM, ANOINTING YET…
.
Obviously if one Rejects the TRUTH and now embraces the lies or partial truths they will next call all he lies as truth.. Sadly in real life many people with partial truths in their false pride are heavily deluded by even Satan now into thinking that they now now it all and they do now have the whole truth and there is no need for them to make any more personal changes in there own life..they are backwards in their thinking and backwards in their logic and lack understanding and lack comprehension. They are disabled in their mind. They have a broken mind which obviously cannot think clearly The delusions of an illogical , inexperienced, ignorant persons are obviously shaped a fools beliefs. For what that fool believes or thinks or sees or interprets as truth even because it is what seems true to him, it still however, does not make the fools’ insanity the TRUTH at all. It all still does not make his belief or the whole TRUTH, in spite of the fact that he obviously believes the logic and deceptions in his own mind. His own ignorant belief merely makes him all the deluded and self deceived and illogical because especially since the lazy also the fool he refuses to test or check his own belief for errors and deceptions because he is too lazy or moral to face the answers..The whole Truth still is not merely one man’s opinion, nor is it is or what many others humans might also think or believe or imagine it is. Just because we think or believe something is Truth does not make it Truth Obviously if one Rejects the TRUTH and embrace lies or partial truths hey will next call them all truth. Probably the worst thing here to is when people don’t want to subject their knowledge to questioning because they really are afraid to face the fact that it might be false. This is usually because they are presently benefit in some way from maintaining their false, simplified belief in something that is still false and simply untenable in the long run. When lots of people insist on maintaining a lie it is because it suits them and the devil. What right do people have to benefit from untruths that cause problems for someone else? Believers Bible Study” The Christian’s life in all aspects—intellectual and ethical, devotional and relational, up surging in worship and outgoing in witness—is supernatural; only the Spirit can initiate and sustain it. So apart from him, not only will there be no lively believers and no lively congregations, there will be no believers and no congregations at all.”

WHEN YOU HATE SOMEONE YOU DO NOT TALK TO THEM, WHEN YOU LOVE THEM YOU DO..
.
THEN YOU MUST ALSO KNOW (Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
I can understand why the false Christians do not want to be associated with the name of Jesus Christ..  and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, especialy toungues, the whole Bible.. It is cause many persons likethe Baptists, Plymoutht Brethren, Catholics, Fundamentalists, Evanglicals, Jews, Seventh Day Adventists, Judiazers too,  etc, they all still do want to live by their own Gospel, a simplifed one that is still basicaly based on the Old testemant where you do not have to serioulsy repent of your sins, or be filled with the Holy Spirit for that unlike the New Testament only was for the select few  http://comeholyspirit.wordpress.com/2011/11/03/anointed-christian-believers/

The prayer of the rigtheous

Psalm 25:14 KJV  The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.  15  Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. 16  Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. 17  The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. 18  Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. 19  Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. 20  O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. 21  Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22  Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

(Psalm 26:1 KJV)    A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. 2  Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.  3  For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. 4  I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. 5  I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and will not sit with the wicked. 6  I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: 7  That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. 8  LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. 9  Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: 10  In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. 11  But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. 12  My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

(Psalm 27:1 KJV)  A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4  One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6  And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. 7  Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8  When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. 9  Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10  When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. 11  Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12  Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. 13  I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

God’s promises to his own

(Isa 35:1 KJV)  The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2  It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
3  Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4  Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.
5  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7  And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8  And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9  No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10  And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

I WILL PRAISE THE LORD

(Isa 25:1 KJV)  O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
2  For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
3  Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
4  For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5  Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
6  And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7  And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
10  For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
11  And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
12  And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
(Isa 26:1 KJV) In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2  Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4  Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
5  For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
6  The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7  The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
8  Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10  Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
11  LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
12  LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
13  O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
14  They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
15  Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
16  LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
17  Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
18  We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21  For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Isa 1:1  The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2  Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3  The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4  Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5  Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6  From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7  Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8  And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
9  Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
10  Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11  To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12  When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13  Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14  Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15  And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16  Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17  Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20  But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
21  How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
22  Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:
23  Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
24  Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
25  And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
26  And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27  Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
28  And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
29  For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
30  For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.
31  And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
2:1  The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4  And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5  O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

The time has come

Hag 1:1  In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,
2  Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’S house should be built.
3  Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4  Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your ceiled houses, and this house lie waste?
5  Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6  Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
8  Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
9  Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
10  Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
11  And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
12  Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
13  Then spake Haggai the LORD’S messenger in the LORD’S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
14  And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
