So what about the ten commandments?

TenCommandments
.
John 13
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Ephesians 2
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

1 John 2
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

2 John 1
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
.
We  see many people trying to make a great deal of our keeping the  the  now OBSOLETED ten commandments, even today when clearly no one can, has even kept them all still…. besides Jesus.  https://jesussayscome.wordpress.com/2015/05/18/no-one-will-reach-heaven-but-through-jesus-christ/
.
Real Christianity and truth now  is based on the teaching of Jesus and the Apostles as found in the new testament, and not on the Jewish old testament solely.. The Church has replaced Old  Israel in God’s prophetic tapestry.too
 .
And the laws of Moses, even the now OBSOLETED ten commandments were given only to the Jewish people and to no one else!
 .
Are you still Bible ignorant? was  is  mere men who taught  you your theology or the ex Jewish Apostles of Jesus as per the New Testament, or the Holy Spirit..
.
Generally, mostly it is the insecure people in God, because of their still unresolved guilt,  who falsely have an emphasis on forced evangelism, and they falsely do support enforced, forced tithing, keeping the ten commandments  because they do not have enough of a relationship with God for HIM to supply all of their needs for their ministry. It should be noted that Jesus himself and  the Original apostles had never  requested tithing, and clearly they had not relied on tithing for all of their missionary endeavours. They trusted God for their leading and their needs to be met  Jesus himself and  the Original apostles financial request lay solely in helping the poor Christians. These same people generally are falsely trying to find God’s favour not by faith in Jesus Christ but falsely by their religious good efforts as they clearly still do not know what faith in God means..
.

Romans 3 : 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

.
 .
Now the Law of Moses does includes all the laws that Moses gave ancient Israel, it includes the Ten Commandments. So what????????? Are they really applicable to us all still today ????
Now too  lying fools take one Bible verse and try to make major  universal doctrines,  laws of it.. but they are still Bible fools, ignoramuses.. ignorant of the writings of the whole New Testament often.
 .
Key verse =  2 Cor. 3:7-8  “Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?”
Too many even professing Christian persons still are not familiar with the Bible , THE NEW TESTAMENT AND THEY THUS DO HAVE A FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF JESUS CHRIST,  and his laws, etc,, they know mostly what others told them, they did not study the Bible firsthand.
  .
But   still did  you  answer my question even.. The First Commandment found in Exodus 20 v 3, says,” Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” iy was given to the Jews only? Right or wrong?
 .
Was  it Moses who gave this law  to the Jews only but  what laws did they the Jews now  live under before that now for thousands of years?  what law???
 .
Matthew 19:18 “Now behold, one came and said to Him, ‘Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?’ So He said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.’ now was this not a Jewish person asking the Question?
.
But Apostle Paul had next said  in Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.. the law was only a schoolmaster.. next done away with..
 .
Since for sure  the law of Moses cannot bring any of us any us salvation, there was, is clearly no need to require the gentiles Christians now  to keep it. God rather gave them the Holy Spirit and showed that he accepts them without all those Mosaic rituals. They all persons now are saved by grace, and the Jews are, too. Thus the  old covenant is obsolete, so it`s laws are no longer required to be stressed for anyone,  as “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God” (v. 19). There is no need to require the yoke of Moses, for that would make things unnecessarily difficult for the gentile believers.  James then suggested four valid  rules for living: “Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood” (v. 20). Instead of making things difficult for the gentiles, these four rules would be enough.
.
Now all Believers should not lie, steal and murder. That was as obvious to them as it is to us, so they did not need a special reminder about it. The James decree makes it clear that gentiles do not have to be circumcised, nor do they have to obey the laws of Moses. They the gentiles  are circumcised spiritually, not physically. God never gave those Mosaic commands to the gentiles.
 .
and by the way where in the New Testament does it say we need to keep the Sabbath?   IT DOES NOT..
.
1 Timothy 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
.
1 Timothy 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
 .
Most persons do not know the Bible really well, in fact they really have not studied the Bible still firsthand and sadly most people wrongfully rely mostly, heavily on what the others do tell them even as to the supposed truth even in regard to laws in the Bible. That is why so much false doctrines abounds still..
(Mat 11:16 KJV) But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
 .
Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks, persons,  who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,
 .
Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.
Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has to be on them to cause them to personally to change  their schoolmaster.
 .
Yes  “Some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, ‘The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses’” (Acts 15:5).
 .
What were these laws? Were they biblical laws, or the unbiblical traditions of the elders? In every other New Testament mention of the “laws of Moses,” the biblical books of Moses are meant (Luke 2:22; 24:44; John 7:22-23; Acts 28:23; 1 Cor. 9:9; Heb. 10:28). Luke could have said “traditions,” but he did not. Anyone who knew the teachings of Jesus would already know that unbiblical traditions were not required. They did not need to debate about Jewish traditions. Peter then began to scold the people who wanted the gentiles to obey the laws of Moses: “Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are” (vs. 10-11). Some men said that gentiles should be circumcised and obey the laws of Moses or else they could not be saved. Not so, said the apostles. Gentiles are saved by grace and faith. God is pleased to dwell in people who aren’t circumcised and who don’t keep the rituals. But since Moses is widely preached, we need to give a decree that clearly distinguishes the Christian faith from the Law of Moses.  This pleased the entire church, so they wrote it in a letter and sent it to Antioch, where they “were glad for its encouraging message”
 .
“You are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts…. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Cor. 3:3-6).
.
Real Christians lead their lives by being led by the Spirit of God not by the  obsolete, redundant laws of Moses .
.
Read Gal 5 :1    Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2    Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
 .
2 Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:3 For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
 .
Apostle Paul had said that the Ten Commandments, although good, are temporary and had faded away .  Some foolish people try to say that the Ten Commandments, instead of fading, are actually more binding on people today than ever before. They want to expand the Ten instead of allowing them to  fade. Paul is saying that there is a fundamental change in the way people relate to God. The old way is a written law that condemns people to death. The new way is the Holy Spirit, which brings forgiveness and life. The Spirit leads us to obey God, but it is a fundamentally different relationship, a different basis of relating to God. The commands that God gave the Jews  are instructive but not necessarily imperative for us all..
.
Get filled with the Holy Spirit and learn the reality, the truth. CHRIST – the anointed one- Greek for Messiah (anointed one) is Christos, Christ in English. Thus, “Jesus Christ” joins a name and a title, and means Jesus the Messiah. Christ, Messiah, Anointed One. The title “Christ” or “Anointed One” Gk. Christos “Cristov” occurs about 350 times in the New Testament.. The word christos means a person HOLY SPIRIT anointed . The Greek name for an individual “Christos” rendered “Christ” in Scripture, the basic of the term Christian now as well, comes from the Greek word “chrio” means to anoint with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit, one can tell if any person is a Christian cause they also can see the evidence of the holy spirit’s anointing.. so now we all can be anointed one inspectors of all Christians now too. Luke 4:18-19 (Wey) [Jesus:] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor; He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners of war and recovery of sight to the blind: to send away free those whom tyranny has crushed, to proclaim the year of acceptance with the Lord.”But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. . . . As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit–just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:20, 27; The word christos means a person so anointed and the word chrisma refers to that by which a person is anointed. John uses chrisma in these two verses, not speaking of the object being anointed but of the instrument of anointing. Additionally, we find a word christianos in Acts 11:26, which means “one belonging to the Anointed One,” just as Herodianos would mean “one who belongs to Herod.” As the ultimate Prophet, King and Priest, Jesus Christ was anointed when he began his earthly ministry. This anointing was predicted by Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 when he said that the Spirit of the Lord would come upon the Messiah. In God’s time, when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, we are told the Holy Spirit came upon him when he came up out of the water. In other words, he was anointed by the Holy Spirit, and that without measure. When Jesus quoted Isaiah 61:1,2 in the synagogue of Nazareth, saying, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,” he was announcing to the people that he was the Messiah prophesied by Isaiah long ago and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was now resting upon him. Not only is Jesus Christ anointed, but the Bible tells us that every believer in Jesus Christ is also anointed. We are kings, priests, and prophets under the Priest, Prophet and King, the Lord Jesus Christ. We find references to this in many places. John the Baptist said there was another person coming after him, mightier than himself, who would baptize people in the Holy Spirit and fire. In Acts 1:5 the Lord Jesus Christ himself speaks of this, saying, “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, as we read in Acts 2:4: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” The Greek word for anointing is chrisma, from which we have the word chrism. Chrisma appears several times in 1 John 2:20 and 27. It comes from the root word, chriô, which means to rub something or someone lightly with a substance like oil or lotion. Thus, when John writes in 1 John 2:20, “But you have a chrisma, an anointing,” he was referring to the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every believer.;
 .
Christians have a better standard of behavior in the New Testament — a bigger body of literature with better balance over the Torah . We have the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. We should point people to Christ and the Holy Spirit , not to Moses, for instruction on how to live like a Godly Christian.
 .
So why is it many  do not do so.. it is cause they are holy Spirit ignorant and do not even know him  personally cause  likely Jesus Christ is not the sole Lord of their  life yet as well.
.
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
.
And what about tithing for Christians?  The Tithe- A tenth part of one’s annual income contributed voluntarily or due as an obligatory  tax, especially for the support of the clergy or church, synagogue. Tithing is only  an Old Testament concept, specifically the Mosaic law applicable only to Jews required that the Israelites give one-tenth of the produce of their land and livestock, the tithe, to support the Levitical priesthood (Leviticus 27:30-33)as well as the poor persons.
.
Demon possessed Jews still do want to rule the whole world next like Judas wanted too and do end up in Hell is the reality still.. As no future earthly kingdom for Jews has been sanctioned by God in the New Testament after God kicked them out of Israel in 70 AD .. they the Jews have only a heavenly Jerusalem to look forward too and only if they become Christians.
.
