Now as to the book of Revelations most decent Bible scholars say the symbols in Revelation refer to events and places familiar to its intended audience – Firstly to the JEWS IN JERUSALEM, and that the events it describes would happen “soon” (Revelation 1: 1-4, 1:9-11, 22:10)
Revelation 17:3-5. “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Verse 18 of the chapter tells us that the woman is a city. “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” In verse 1, we are told that the woman sits on many waters. Verse 15 explains the meaning of the waters. “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” Not only is this woman a city, but the city is apparently the headquarters over a vast international commerce, financial, political system. The Angel’s warning was that God’s people might hear His voice saying: “Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Rev. 18:4

Christians have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem, and yet, there is still no peace today in Jerusalem. Far from it! Great civil unrest exists in Jerusalem among Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians. Should we still pray for the peace of Jerusalem? Messianic Jews especially and some well-meaning Christians take an isolated verses and demand that we all pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They use the book of Psalms: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee” (Psalm 122:6). Some of these supposed brethren claim that if we pray for peace to come to Jerusalem, then that will make Jesus Christ come back to Earth quicker.
It is worth noting that Jesus nor his disciples had preached this, had asked us all to do so.. Never once did even our Apostle Paul in his epistles, Romans through Philemon, instruct us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
The peace God desires must mean a fundamental change of heart and action on the part of all those who live in Jerusalem and the surrounding area. Such peace must include developing a spiritual peace with Jesus Christ for all and thus a health and wholeness for all peoples. We must pray for the Israeli’s breakdown of their false resistance to the Gospel and to bring all of Israeli’s to know now their own Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Most of the capital in Israel, the wealth and the media, are in the hands of about 15 families. They control almost everything in Israel – from the price of cheese to the outrageous rate of rent. Money is the name of the game, not righteousness, and in that game those who have nothing are doomed to poverty. Those who have little will soon join the ranks of those who have nothing, and those who have much will become richer.
Israel now has no longer any national status before God today. Israel has no special relationship with JEHOVAH. She had such a relationship in the past but it is was terminated when the Jews killed our Lord Jesus Christ. Next the temple in Jerusalem was completely destroyed. Worshiping Israel, Jerusalem, it’s land , it’s people, it’s leaders, Jews, the Old Testament is still an unacceptable sin to God.
The idolizing and worshiping of Jerusalem, Israel and the Jews is evil in the sight of God. Especially since Israel today is a shameful nation that has abandoned the sole God of the Bible, Jesus Christ. It is demons that are inspiring people to idolize Israel and the Jews. You are now also God, Bible IGNORANT if you do still think that God blesses any Christians who support a wicked, Christ-rejecting people, Nation of Israel. The land of Israel itself and the nation still has nothing to do with our salvation from death and sin.! Jesus alone now died, was buried and rose up three days later for our justification.
Defending Israel is NOT even a man’s job. Defending Israel is NOT a function of the New Testament Church. In fact, this may come as a shock to you, but the Bible says that Jerusalem and the Jews will be attacked and defeated, continually as we often hear about it too, until the Lord returns to earth, thus ending “the times of the Gentiles.” Luke 21:24, “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Israel today is not the fulfillment of any New Testament Biblical prophecy. as well. No one could believe otherwise.
God is focused today on the Church, the Body of Christ instead. The United States of America is never explicitly mentioned in the Bible. In regard to the end times, the only nation the Bible seems to be concerned with, specifically, is Israel. Russia Is Not Rosh Gog Magog Meschech Or Tubal
You say otherwise is certainly a creative interpretation of scripture and quite a stretch, especially in light of the fact that no consensus exists in Christianity.
The error of the Russian theory arose from the Scofield Study Bible, which identifies Meshech and Tubal with the modern Russian cities of Moscow and Tobolsk. The only basis for this interpretation is the somewhat similar sound of the two words. Thus: Meshech sounds like Moscow, and Tubal sounds like Tobolsk. However, one cannot simply take a word from an ancient Semitic language (in this case, Hebrew) and find a correlation to a modern name from a drastically different language (in this case an early form of Scandinavian) simply because the two words “sound the same.” While this may be convincing to some for the sole reason of phonetics, it is very irresponsible hermeneutics.
“A closer study of these names reveals that Meshech and Tubal are the ancient Moschi/Mushki and Tubalu-Tibareni peoples who dwelled in the area around, primarily south of, the Black and Caspian Seas in Ezekiel’s day. These nations today are in the modern country of Turkey, possibly parts of southern Russia and northen Iran. “Magog today probably represents the former underbelly of the Soviet Union: Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Uzebekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan. All these are Muslim. Meshech was located near what was known as Phrygia, in central and western Asia Minor (Turkey), while Tubal was located in Eastern Asia Minor (Turkey). Alos Gomer is in Turkey not Russia or Germany. This is the land of ancient Kimmeria. Gomer, it “refers to the Celtic Cimmerians of Crim-Tartary.” Gomer is well known to the ancient world as Gimarrai of north central Asia Minor (Cappadocia). These people are also known as the Cimmerians. This seems to be the simplest, most obvious interpretation. So Gomer is Gimarra or Cimmeria in Cappadocia. Cappadocia is simply central Turkey, again, another Islamic region.
When Russia stood with Nazi Germany, many concluded that Hitler was the European Antichrist. They were wrong. As soon as Stalin was betrayed by Hitler, Russia fought against Germany. If so many prophecy analysts were wrong then, and they are also wrong again. Prior to the Jewish Bolshevik Revolution in Russia , Christian scholars and historians used to identify the nations of the Magog, Meshech, Tubal and Gomer with the regions of the Caucasus and Turkey.
The Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, citing ancient Assyrian writings, places the location of Magog in the landmass between ancient Armenia and Media – in short, the Republics south of Russia and noth of Israel, comprised of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkestan, Chechnya, Turkey, etc. I agree with all these quotes and I add; these are all Muslim nations.
Magog is specifically referred to as the region of “the land of Magog, chief prince (head or leader of) of Mesech and Tubal” (Ezekiel 38:2). Because Meshech and Tubal are regions of Turkey – Magog must thus be related to Turkey. Otherwise the passage would make little sense. How could Russia be the head over regions of Turkey? It makes better sense to conclude that Gog is a leader from the land of Magog and the leader of Meshech and Tubal, all of which are in Turkey.
Israel in the Middle East is not the real regathering of all Israel spoken of in prophecy. The real regathering will not happen until during the tribulation after Mystery Babylon the Great is destroyed. The nation Israel is in fact a counterfeit, it is really Mystery Babylon the Great.

Satan is a counterfeiter. His method of deception is providing counterfeits for all of the major End Times prophecies. For example, Satan wants to deceive the world into worshiping his antichrist. Satan knows that Christians are aware that the Bible warns of an End Times antichrist. Christians are going to be watchful of such. How will Satan convince these Christians that his antichrist is the legitimate messiah? How will he deceive these Bible savvy Christians? Satan will create a counterfeit antichrist. He will then use all of his controlled televangelists and the rest of the Satanically controlled Christian establishment to promote the notion that his counterfeit is, indeed, the real antichrist. Satan will then script out a scenario where his real antichrist (posing at the Messiah) will defeat this fake antichrist. He will then use his puppets to persuade the Christian masses to worship the real antichrist, under the guise that the antichrist was already defeated. Pretty clever huh? He wants people to think, “The antichrist was already defeated, here comes the Messiah to save the day.” In this way, he will trick Christians into worshiping the false Messiah. He plans to make it look like Revelation happens before it actually happens.

In the Old Testament, the king of the north has reference to the areas of Syria, Turkey, and Iraq. The word north is used of Syria or the Old Seleucid Empire six times, of Babylon sixteen times, of Assyria one time, and of Iran one time. These are the lands once occupied by Magog, Gomer, Togarmah, Meshech and Tubal.
It is very interesting to observe how the Anglo-Israelist connects the two. For instance, one of their chief texts for a “scriptural intimation” and “strong historical proof” is Gen. 48:1820: “And Joseph said unto his father, not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. And here is the “intimation”—Ephraim should be called “great” and Great Britain is called Great, therefore Great Britain is Ephraim! On the other hand Manasseh must have a place in the picture, so the United States is Manasseh. That is the very hub of their British-Anglo-Saxon-Israel claim—that Great Britain is Ephraim and the United States is Manasseh. But the whole argument is based upon misquotation. The passage does not say that “Ephraim shall be called great”—it says that “his younger brother shall be greater than he”—that is, Ephraim should be “greater” than Manasseh,” which could only mean, according to this theory that England is greater than the United States! Does lend-lease furnish “strong historical proof” on this point? How do Americans like that slant? Really, what might have happened to great Ephraim if little Manasseh had not come to the rescue? He would have been sunk! The theory furnishes very good British propaganda but, without reflecting on the imperial greatness of Britain or the national pride of America, if the glory of either is the hope of Israel it is a mighty poor affair.

An obscure person named Richard Brothers who lived in England between 1757 to 1824 is credited with the origination of this farfetched fantasy. He was true to the form of religious fanatics and his movement was strikingly parallel with Joseph Smith and the Mormons. The religious lunacy of these men was about identical in degree, the difference being in the circumstances of Richard Brothers’ commitment to an asylum and Joseph Smith to a jail. In this same era of “visions” and “revelations,” Richard Brothers, in England, just another misguided soul, made himself believe that he was the subject of special revelations, too; and he conjured up the notion that the Anglo-Saxon peoples, not the hated Jews, are the real Israelites and Anglo-Israelism is here. Being a Britisher himself, and fond of the Anglo Saxon idea anyway, it was not hard for Brothers to believe that they are Israel in other words, we are it. Thus Anglo-Israelism was born. That is precisely the way it came into existence, and like Mormonism, Adventism, Eddyism and all other humanisms, it has nothing in history, scripture, or common ordinary sense upon which to stand.

There is no such thing even as the Ten Lost Tribes. There cannot ever be Ten Lost Tribes lost as they were never lost to God. As they were all represented in Jerusalem at the day of Pentecost.
