Now the Holy Spirit is gentle but he will still tell you the truth..

NAME OF JESUS

” There is a river of the Holy Spirit that comes from God whose streams makes glad “believers” and fills them with joy and peace. As a result this river gives them joy and gladness, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Yes, Joy and gladness are the trade marks of being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not only to be understood with our hearts and minds and appreciated for its many miracles, signs and wonders but it’s to be experienced through the moving of the Holy Spirit. ”

John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

Galatians 5  3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.  4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.  14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

1 Timothy 1  7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.  9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

Titus 3  9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

You are trying to earn favor with God by observing certain days or months or seasons or years. I fear for you.

Undeniably too as per Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and (all) began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

There are many fools, even ignorant Christians who think that they can merely obtain God’s favor by keeping any of the laws of the Old Testament.. these deceived persons all fail to realize that the Old Testament were written to the Jews only, not to any gentiles.. Now today all of these over 465 old testament inapplicable laws are redundant, obsolete even to all of the Jews.. Further more keeping any of these laws does not insure any personal entrance into heaven.. All Jewish and non Jewish persons have to keep only these laws – to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to obey the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. Christ did not suggest here that the binding nature of the law of Moses would remain forever in effect

God who commanded the laws, not just for Judah, but for all Israel, Next That same God, Jesus Christ, says unmistakably: Even if you keep the whole or most of the laws you still will go to hell if Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior and Baptizer of the Holy spirit firstly Keeping God’s laws and living righteously has it’s reward, but that still does not mean we have to keep every law mentioned in the old testament that were applicable only to the Jews now even…. Why, then, was the law given? It was given alongside the promise to show the (Jewish) people their sins. But the law was designed to last only until the coming of the child who was promised. Galatians 3:19 Before the way of Christ was available to the Jews the law, the Old testament laws were there guardian until Christ came; it protected them until they and we could be made right with God through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. And now that this faith has come or is available to all,, we no longer need the Old Testament, the law as any of our guardian.as per Galatians 3:23-25

The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. Hebrews 10:1

When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means that he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear. Hebrews 8:13

When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law. When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.1 Corinthians 9:20-21:

Now coming back to the fact there are so many lying preachers who distort the Bible, take isolated verses to try to still lead you back to Hell..

God who commanded the laws, not just for Judah, but for all Israel, Next That same God, Jesus Christ, said unmistakably that even if you keep the whole or most of the laws you still will go to hell if Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior and Baptizer of the Holy spirit firstly Keeping God’s laws and living righteously has it’s reward, but that still does not mean we have to keep every law mentioned in the old testament that were applicable only to the Jews now even… The false, perverse Law keepers always try to justify their even 10 commandment keeping by Matt. 5:17-19. And James is very clear that if we’re going to keep the Mosaic law, we have to keep all of the laws [James 2:10]

Now compare “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:17-18) with “For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one, and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, 15 by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace.” (Eph. 2:14-15),

“Of special significance in this study is the word rendered “abolish.” It translates the Greek term kataluo, literally meaning “to loosen down.” The word is found seventeen times in the New Testament. It is used, for example, of the destruction of the Jewish temple by the Romans (Matthew 26:61; 27:40; Acts 6:14), and of the dissolving of the human body at death (2 Corinthians 5:1). The term can carry the extended meaning of “to overthrow,” i.e., “to render vain, deprive of success.” In classical Greek, it was used in connection with institutions, laws, etc., to convey the idea of “to invalidate.””

And while the apostle Paul certifies that “the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good” (Romans 7:12), we also do still know as per Romans 7: “1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. 4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

How much more clearer can it be, we are adulterers if we serve the law, since we are dead to the law once we have been married to Jesus Christ.. He Jesus Christ had fulfill the law as Moses had written it. Once He died and rose again He ratified what was needed to be kept under the law of Christ, the laws of the Holy Spirit (not Moses). This law was either given directly by Jesus or through the apostles after the resurrection where they all were filled with the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts. Pentecost is not an option but mandatory for all Christians.

Jesus did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. To have it put aside. We are under the new law of Christ and NOT under the law of Moses. Some of the Old Testament laws are ratified in the new covenant and most are not. Jesus himself had removed the requirement of having to follow the Law in order to please God, he even had established justification by faith, and thereby united both Jew and Gentile into one group in Christ. This is when Paul says in verse 15 that he abolished in his flesh the enmity which is the law of commandments in ordinances. The Law was that which separated Jew from Gentile and since it has been fulfilled in Christ, it is no longer something that would separate Jew and Gentile. Both Jews and Gentiles can be one, Christians the Church now instead. The word “fulfill” which many abuse, it does not mean to continue or reinforce. Matthew consistently used the word fulfill in a specific manner, once something is fulfilled there is not a need for any future fulfillment. Now fulfilled all mean a completion of something that is said. That something was prophesied or written and he fulfilled it or made it happen, bringing it to its end, having it come to pass, no longer applicable commandments, all he old testament laws.. 613 of them now too.. As we can see, these 613 commands were temporary and only for a certain time and next many of the Old Testament laws are given new meaning in the New Testament. Whatever came through the cross and taught by the apostles were the new applicable teachings for the Church. Jesus did not tell the disciples not to sacrifice animals during this time they were still under the law before his resurrection. Its obvious after he died the Temple veil was rent and his sacrifice was made once for all, they no longer had to do continue this approach. Mt.28 states to observe all things that I have commanded you it means and include also what he spoke to the disciples after His resurrection, as preached by the Apostles too now.. “The Old Testament Covenant was never intended to be permanent. (Gal.3:17-18, 22-25) Jesus used two examples in a parable to show the new is not to be joined with the old, (Luke 5:36-39) V.36 “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old.”Heb.8:13 “In that He says “a New Covenant,” He has made the first one obsolete…”. Paul describes the Mosaic covenant in 2 Cor.3: 7 the HOLY SPIRIT tells us, is “passing away” and is “abolished” (verses 11,13), in its place we have the “ministry of the Spirit” and “the ministry of righteousness” (verses 8,9).” For “the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

Rom 3:19-20: “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Christ fulfilled, cancelled, done away with the demands of the Mosaic law, which called for perfect obedience under threat of a “curse” (see Galatians 3:10, 13).;

You are trying to earn favor with God by observing certain days or months or seasons or years. I fear for you. Perhaps all my hard work with you was for nothing. Dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to live as I do in freedom from these things, for I have become like you Gentiles—free from those laws. Galatians 4:10-12 So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. Colossians 2:16-17

So again the Old Covenant is not our covenant, and the Old Testament law is not our law. This New Covenant in Christ fulfilled the Old Covenant (and its laws and sacrifices) and superseded it. All followers of Christ—Jews and Gentiles—are New Covenant people of God. We’ve been freed from the Old Covenant law and are no longer under its jurisdiction.

Now if Christ fulfilled all the law why do some try to bring people back under its bondage? They are Bible ignorant or imposter Christians perverse slave drivers , therefore their confusion continues. many have a tendency to open the Bible anywhere and, because it’s all God’s Word, assume falsely that everything applies to us all and this causes a lot of confusion and error too.  .  It is still an undeniable fact that the majority of professing Christians have not let the Holy Spirit teach them on the truths found in the Bible as they have been falsely preoccupied with the things of this world rather, so now rather they have mostly and falsely believed on the false teaching of others, those others who often have false hidden agendas including power trips.. Today there is still a great need for all Christians to have biblical discernment and discrimination. Many professing Christians remain biblically illiterate and spiritually gullible. They lazily still tend naively accept almost any teaching as truth. and Just because it is even a Baptist teaching does not necessarily mean it is a biblical teaching. We are still all “test the spirits” and the chief measuring stick is the Scripture itself! Not academic degrees, or Ministerial titles. God’s truth is still absolute. It is immutable. It never changes. Amazing how many of the false Christians doctrines are new, developed within the last 500 years only too..

Acts 1:5. “for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Matthew 3:11. “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” John the Baptist, was promising that when the Messiah came He would baptize them with the Holy Spirit. It was a promise of the indwelling of the Spirit of God. This was confirmed by Peter in Acts 11:16 where everyone who was baptized with the Holy Spirit was also undeniably also speaking in tongues. A truth that too many liars try to deny, explain away rather.

Acts 11:16. “Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, `John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

1 Thess.5:20-22, “Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.”

Jesus warned in Mt.7:15-16, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits…”

Apostle Paul warned the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:29, “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.”

Apostle Peter also offered this warning in 2 Pet.2:1, “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.”

Today there is still a great need for biblical discernment and discrimination. Many believers remain biblically illiterate and spiritually gullible. They naively accept any teaching as truth.

 11. In Eph.4:14, Paul says that a sure sign of spiritual immaturity is “tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.”

1 John 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Apostle John here teaches we must discriminate doctrinally. We must “test the spirits.” We must learn to discern between “the spirit of truth and the spirit of error as You cannot love until you reject hatred. You cannot pursue righteousness until you abandon evil..

Why are people falling for false teachings? Because they are not reading or understanding their Bibles! When it comes to knowing our Bible, not many know what is in the Bible or have a clear understanding of what it is saying. One reason may be because there are too many interpretations and arguments about what the Word of God says. Another reason may be that we put too much trust on who is delivering the message without reading it for ourselves. We rely on our pastors and spiritual leaders to “feed” us the Word, and trust them blindly to do so but in reality, many have a different agenda and God is not in it, so people are being deceived. That is why it is important to pray, ask the Holy Spirit himself to lead and guide you as you read and study the Holy Scriptures, to understand the Word of God and keep it stored in your heart so that you would not be deceived. You will then be able to discern if what is coming out their mouths is in alignment with God’s Word, if it is not, then it is false teaching. Do not just rely on what your spiritual leaders or anyone (including myself) is telling you, check it and read it still always for yourselves.

I get a chuckle, a big laugh of those persons who claim they are experts on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues when they have never even experienced them. They instead of referring you to what the the Bible actually says about it all they tend to refer you elsewhere falsely too. Many false Bible teachers, expositors, dispensational liars, falsely Pentecostal bashers today they falsely do not take the Bible, the actual statements of the Biblical accounts of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at face value but still falsely try by playing on words, distorting the scriptures, by adding to it, or try to diminish or take away the Baptism of the Holy Spirit place, importance.

Don Basham, a leading Charismatic writer , rightfully says that this: “. . . experience is a second encounter with God (the first is conversion) in which the Christian begins to receive the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit into his life.”.

Many Charismatics and all Pentecostals teach that this experience usually comes when one prays for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is a very definite experience in which the person experiences the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Biblical evidence or sign that a person has received the Holy Spirit is authenticated by that person speaking in tongues. Basham describes the experience as follows: ” But even if you feel nothing, rest quietly in the confidence that the Holy Spirit is now coming upon you in power and is about to furnish you with a new language of prayer and praise to God.”

After having this experience they teach “they are then empowered” by the Holy Spirit. Basham rigthfully further states: “The average Christian, although truly professing Christ, operates largely on his own power, making his own decisions, living by his own strength, and controlling his own life. But through the baptism of the Holy Spirit the Christian is empowered out of this natural realm into a realm where he can begin to experience the supernatural gifts and powers of God’s Holy Spirit.”

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit experience often comes when others who have had the experience, lay hands on the person seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Again with the laying on of hands one receives the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and next they will speak in tongues and which is Biblical the “evidence” that they have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

In summary the Baptism of the Holy Spirit does not necessarily happen when a person is saved because most people tend to make a partial acceptance of Jesus Christ, an intellectual acceptance, see only their need of personal salvation for sin and death but have not make Jesus Christ the lord of their life yet.. .

It should be understood that in each of the accounts of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit coming upon believers in the Book of Acts those who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit they were already even believers In Jesus Christ, saved persons..

Stay with what the Bible says, the Holy Spirit teachers you and not mere men and women

The word of God says the Holy Spirit reveals the deep things of God to us.

I Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Pentecostal Christian groups today are teaching rightfully that after a believer has been saved they have an experience in which they receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit accompanied by the “speaking in tongues” phenomena. It is often called a “second blessing” in which a believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit and that: “receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is always accompanied by speaking in tongues”.

Now the Holy Spirit is gentle  but he will still tell you the truth..

The Bible and the Greek Language

HOLY SPIRIT (36)

 .

Following the Bible,  the teaching of Christ and following the Holy Spirit are not necessarily the same.. as one can be a carnal Christians in contrast to  to a Holy Spirit anointed Christian. As a Christian you can be surrounded by Bibles and even other Christians, be in a church even, and still be not  filled with the Holy Spirit. Or you can even  be alone, but still be Spirit-filled.

 .

“…Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it…” (Romans 6:1, 2)

.

What is the reason more Christians aren’t filled with the Holy Spirit? They are walking in unconfessed sin, are ignorant of the Holy spirit, most t they do not pray, read the Bible even 5 minutes a day.. They had  choose to disobey God. This can even take the form of pride: wanting to do  things our way. We don’t also now give God control of our finances; we falsely claim worked hard for our money and it’s ours now. We don’t give God control of our desires, will, emotions, our career, relationships; nor do we  forgive that other person when it’s really still their fault? We don’t give God control of our personal morality; that’s nobody’s business but our own—not even God’s. That’s also our false pride talking. We may not want to give up our sins, sinful ways and habits too..  All sin is sin by choice in one sense or another and God always makes it possible for us to not sin if we are willing to ask for his help  The Scripture still says, “He [God] mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble” (Proverbs 3:34).

 .

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

“Whoever knows what is right to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin” (James 4:17)

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God (here referring to Jesus) and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” (James 1:27)

‘If anyone sees his brother committing what is not a mortal sin, he will ask, and God will give him life for those who sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which is not mortal.’ (First John 5:16,17)

.

“But immorality (porneia) and all impurity (akatharsia = “lack of being purged”) or covetousness (pleonexia = the desire of having more and more of something) must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. Let there be no filthiness (aischrotes = dirty, disgraceful or shameful conduct), nor silly talk (morologia = dull, stupid or idle talk), nor levity (eutrapelia = facetiousness, crude joking), which are not fitting (appropriate); but instead let there be thanksgiving. Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience…” (Ephesians 5:3-6)

“For if we sin deliberately (hekousios = willfully) after receiving the knowledge (epignosin = full knowledge) of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice of sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries. A man who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy at the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think will be deserved by the man who has spurned the Son of God, and profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who has said, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ And again, ‘The Lord will judge his people.’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:26-31)

 .

“As for the man who is factious (hairetikos = divisive, self-willed), after admonishing him once or twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is perverted (lit., ‘turned inside out’) and sinful (sinning); he is self-condemned.” Titus 3:10,11)

 .

Our sin  can take another form: fear. Proverbs states, “Fear of man will prove to be a snare…” (Proverbs 29:25). Here is something that God wants you to do, but you haven’t done it because you’re afraid of what people will think? You say  can’t do that, I would look foolish if I did that. God can’t possibly want me to do that. But yes He does!

 .

Indulgence in sin therefore does bring irreversible losses into our lives. We must continue to experience the inevitable “law of the harvest” which, to say the very least, may handicap even a thoroughly repentant sinner for a long period of time so that it is difficult to be preoccupied in his new life with the fruitful work of “sowing to the Spirit.”

.

“Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly – mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).

.

Apostle Paul  himself now in the New testament clearly distinguished between two types of Christians: the spiritual, holy spirit Baptized  Christian and the carnal Christian,  Carnal here means “fleshly”,  unspiritual . Many Christians these days too are still really carnal persons and  thus  holy spirit ignorant cause they still have not made Jesus Christ the full, sole lord of their life.. “  What distinguishes the carnal Christian from the spiritual Christian? It isn’t that the carnal Christian lacks or have falsely neglected a significant part of Christ or the Holy Spirit part –

.

“I went home and for the first time in my life began to read the Word of God daily, continually AND NEXT the Holy Spirit definitely had come into my life to stay.”

.

Still a mere   prayer alone does not save anybody. You could pray your entire life and still go to Hell when you die (Matthew 6:7). A sinner’s prayer is NOT the gospel. The real gospel is making  the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ  a part of your own life, trusting solely upon His death, burial and resurrection as payment for your sins.  (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The Greek word for “call” here means “to invoke, appeal, to petition.” It  means also to make  Jesus also  the Lord to be saved, dying to self and living solely for Jesus by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was given to us  by Christ to enable one  to live the Christian life!

.

The full Christian life is possible only with the life, the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God, as are the Son and the Father and also is a person. He has a personality. He is a divine person with a will and emotions. The Holy Spirit possesses all the attributes that the Son and the Father have. He is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), immutable (unchanging) and eternal. He is the third person of the trinity. The Holy Spirit convicted you of your sin and your need for Christ (John 16:8-11). The Bible explains that without the Holy Spirit’s help, people think Christianity is foolish (1 Corinthians 1:18). The Holy Spirit is a teacher and enabler. He leads you to the truth of God’s Word. He illuminates the Bible so you are able to understand and apply its truth (John 16:13,14). He gives power and spiritual effectiveness in your life. He also intercedes for you before the Father when you feel like you don’t know what or how to pray (Romans 8:26,27).

.

“Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don’t drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him.” (Ephesians 5:17). a Holy Spirit   fruit is that which is produced from a Holy Spirit centered life: “But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and here there is no conflict with Jewish laws” (Galatians 5:22.23).

.

The Bible demands that all Christians be continually  “led” by the Spirit. That implies we get to know him first, next we obey what He says: Simply He leads, we follow.  We have the choice each day: Will we let the Holy Spirit lead us, or will we be controlled by self, the devil actually then. The control of the Holy Spirit is our choice. It’s always still unforced submission, voluntary, and that is why so many miss the mark..

.

You can claim  your desire to be under  the Holy Spirit’s control  by faith claiming God’s will, promises for you to do so and through prayer such as “Heavenly  Father,I acknowledge that I have been directing my own life and that, as a result, I have sinned against You. I have been sinful, rebellious and thus now I confess, admit  need You and your Holy Spirit. I thank You that You have forgiven my sins through Christ’s death on the cross for me. I now invite Christ to again take His place on the throne of my life. In Jesus name now Fill me with the Holy Spirit as You commanded me to be filled, and as You promised in Your Word that You would do if I asked in faith. I do pray this in the name of Jesus. And as an expression of my faith,  I surrender all to you, I now thank You for directing my life and for filling me with the Holy Spirit.”

.

“If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; but If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship the One with the other, and the blood of Jesus his Son (continuously) cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and the truth is not in us.” (I John 1:6-10, my paraphrase)

.

Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be dishonestly motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.)
.
A typical Jew in Jesus’ time had only one name, sometimes supplemented with the father’s name or the individual’s hometown Thus, in the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as “Jesus of Nazareth”[e] (Matthew 26:71), “Joseph’s son” (Luke 4:22), and “Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth” (John 1:45). However, in Mark 6:3, rather than being called the son of Joseph, he is referred to as “the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon”.
 .
The name Jesus, as found in several modern languages, is derived from the Latin Iesus, a transliteration of the Greek Ἰησοῦς (Iesous).[Jesus (/ˈdʒiːzəs/; Greek: Ἰησοῦς Iesous; 7–2 BC to 30–33 AD), also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity (the world’s largest religion),[  whom the teachings of most Christian denominations hold to be the Son of God. Christianity holds Jesus to be the awaited Messiah of the Old Testament and refers to him as Jesus Christ, a name that is also used in non-Christian contexts.Since early Christianity, Christians have commonly referred to Jesus as “Jesus Christ The word Christ is derived from the Greek Χριστός (Christos ]  meaning the “anointed”

Of the three languages that Jesus might have spoken: Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic now the  Hebrew for sure is the least likely..Aramaic is a Semitic language, related to Hebrew, Arabic, and other  similar languages and so some people still do claim this was Jesus  main  language but they cannot prove this..  Even if some  grave inscriptions around Jerusalem are in Aramaic, not Hebrew.
 .
The widespread use of Greek or Aramaic among even the Jews is a fact,   but  Aramaic was one of language of the people, though many people at the Time of Jesus would   get along in Greek mainly. Not in Hebrew.
 .
“For many years it was common to envision Jesus as growing up in the countryside of Galilee, far removed from multi-cultural hodge-podge of the Roman Empire. But this idealized view of the rustic Jesus is far from the truth, a myth in fact… Though he grew up in a small town, he was not at all cut off from the broader Roman world. In fact Jesus grew up with ample exposure to Greco-Roman language, culture, commerce, politics, religion, and philosophy. When he eventually entered Jerusalem to confront the Roman and Jewish authorities there – and to give his life in the process – Jesus was no naive country bumpkin making his first trip to the big city. Rather he was well aware of powers and perils he faced, and he faced these knowing, as he ultimately said to Pontius Pilate (in Greek, I believe), “My kingdom is not from this world” (John 18:36).”
 .
The question of Jesus’ primary language would be settled if we knew what people in Nazareth in the first decades of the first century A.D. were speaking. Unfortunately, this knowledge is  elusive more than many  would like to  admit. In Reality  there is no specific evidence about the language spoken in Nazareth during the life of Jesus. We don’t have inscriptions or ancient manuscripts that can be placed in Nazareth at this time. Undeniably as well.. It makes sense that residents of Nazareth spoke Aramaic is still not an actual fact or proof..
 .
A few still try to  believe that people in Nazareth spoke Hebrew as their primary language. This is  unlikely. Hebrew may well have been used by  Jewish separatists (those who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls),  but still  we have no real, definite strong evidence for the common use of Hebrew in Nazareth and the surrounding region of Galilee. We have  acknowledge the multilingual environment of Jesus’ culture under the Greek language, Roman Rule..
 .
In recent years, more scholars are taking seriously the possibility that Jesus mainly spoke Greek. it is worth nothing that Greek was commonly used in certain strata of Galilean society. This began when Alexander the Great conquered the region in 332 B.C. Under his rule, and under the rule of those who followed him (the Ptolemies and the Seleucids), Greek was the language of government and commerce. The Romans used Latin for official communication, but Greek was the common language of the Empire. Greek was the common language of the Roman Empire.
 .
Would people in Nazareth have spoken Greek? Yes many of them would have been familiar with Greek and used it in their businesses. In fact, Nazareth was a short walk from Sepphoris, one of the major cities of Galilee, where Greek would have been the everyday language of the marketplace. As a craftsman living near Sepphoris, Jesus had to know  Greek to do business with the people there. It is difficult to the extreme to interpret from the fragmentary evidence available and draw conclusions for the use of any Hebrew  language in late second-temple Galilee.
 .
In Matthew 8:5-13, for example, Jesus entered into dialogue with a Roman centurion. The centurion almost certainly spoke in Greek. And, as Matthew tells the story, he and Jesus spoke directly, without a translator.  The story suggests more immediate communication, which would have been in Greek. The same could be said about Jesus’ conversation with Pontius Pilate prior to his crucifixion (Matthew 27:11-14; John 18:33-38). Now  the telling of the story points to a Greek-speaking Jesus. (Pilate would have used Greek, not Latin, as  it’s unlikely that he would have known or used Aramaic. Pilate for sure was not the sort of man who would stoop to use an other  language .
 .
Yes it very reasonable to assume that Jesus did speak Greek and maybe Aramaic upon occasion ,
 .
The earliest manuscripts of the New Testament Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – are written in Greek with rare Aramaic use. The minor existence of Aramaic words and phrases on the lips of Jesus, shows   that Jesus spoke some Aramaic only as used it in his ministry. evidence for Jesus’ speaking Aramaic even  will be circumstantial only is insignificant.
 .
The fact that the Gospels are written in Greek shows that many if not most of the earliest Christians, including some who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, knew Greek and used it often, perhaps as their first language.
 .
Many Jewish writings from the era of Jesus were written in Greek, including works such as 2 Maccabees and 1 Esdras. Other Hebrew writings were being translated into Greek in Jerusalem (the book of Esther, for example, in 114 B.C.). Speaking of Jerusalem, scholars have found some ninety Greek inscriptions on ossuaries (boxes for bones) that date to around the time of Jesus and were found in or around Jerusalem.
 .
Ever since Alexander the Great conquered Judea  in 332 B.C., Greek had been the language of government and, increasingly, commerce and scholarship.  Greek was undeniable  as the main  popularity and influence. In the time of Jesus, well-educated Jews, mainly those of the upper classes, would have known and used Greek. So would those who were involved in trade or government.   in their business and travels to the other cities of the Roman empire too.
 .
The presence and pervasiveness of Greek in Judea is demonstrated by a discovery in the Nahal Hever region of the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. In a cave, a scroll was found that contains substantial portions of the minor prophets in Greek. The so-called Nahal Hever Minor Prophets Scroll, dated around the time of Jesus, shows the influence and popularity of Greek, even among highly religious Jews.
 .
One can uphold the inerrancy of Scripture and also still believe that Jesus spoke   Greek.
 .
Therefore, should we be  encouraged to pay close attention to the meaning of his teaching in light of the Roman, Aramaic, Hebrew cultural and religious milieu, as we really do not know not too much as not much  remains from that time in writing honestly or accurately available to us all even if some claim otherwise.
 .
“Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, LATIN and GREEK.” John 19:19-20 But not in Hebrew…  according to some Bible Translators.. http://biblehub.com/john/19-20.htm
.
Jesus knew Hebrew because he was a Jewish Rabbi as supposedly verfied by this verse is a false argument too.. as Jesus did not acknowledge here that he was a Jewish Rabbi.. Fools try to base major doctrines on one verse.. “Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, ‘What do you want?’ They said, ‘Rabbi’ (which means Teacher), ‘where are you staying?'” John 1:38
.
Phrases such as the following which are preserved in the Gospels in their original form are all Hebrew phrases: is also not true.. as they are Aramic.. (a) “Hossana” – Matthew 21:9 (b) “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani” – Matthew 27:46 (c) “Rabbi” – John 3:2 (d) “Talitha cumi” – Mark 5:41
.
Now to me it only makes sense that the New Testament was written in Greek. Think of who Paul was: the “Apostle to the Gentiles”. Obviously he was writing to Greek speaking people, so he would write to them in Greek. There are more reasons, but this is an obvious one. I have run into a new reason why some people dispute the notion that Jesus spoke Aramaic. It has to do with the passion among some Muslims for an Aramaic-speaking Jesus. Aramaic is a Semitic language, related to Hebrew, Arabic, and similar languages. Only during the time of the Assyrian Empire (8th century BC), Aramaic became used throughout the Ancient Near East as the language of diplomacy not at the time of Jesus here on earth During and before the time of Jesus, there wasn’t just one version of Aramaic being used in Judea and beyond. Even many grave inscriptions around Jerusalem at the time of Jesus are not in Aramaic, not in Hebrew but in Greek.. Muslims falsely use the idea that Jesus spoke Aramaic as a support for the truth of Islam.
.
Jews falsely use the idea that Jesus spoke Hebrew as a support for the truth of Judaism A few scholars believe that people in Nazareth spoke Hebrew as their primary language. This is possible, but unlikely. Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.) So what evidence do we have that Jesus spoke Hebrew? We do not have in the New Testament Gospels a quotation of Jesus in Hebrew As one who believes about Jesus all the things orthodox Christians do, it would not impact my faith one jot or tittle if Jesus spoke Hebrew rather than Aramaic, or Greek rather than Hebrew.but the truth is Jesus spoke Greek still..Now, you don’t have to spend the next several years learning ancient languages because English KJV translation of the biblical text is very much reliable it was based on the Tyndale translation of the Greek too..The question of Jesus’ primary language is settled if we knew what people in Nazareth in the first decades of the first century A.D. were speaking and the Romans made it clear.. Greek or Latin only.. and we have no evidence for the common use of Hebrew in Nazareth and the surrounding region of Galilee.it is worth nothing that Greek was commonly used in certain strata of Galilean society. This began when Alexander the Great conquered the region in 332 B.C. Under his rule, and under the rule of those who followed him (the Ptolemies and the Seleucids), Greek was the language of government and commerce. The Romans used Latin for official communication, but Greek was the common language of the Empire. In fact, Nazareth was a short walk from Sepphoris, one of the major cities of Galilee, where Greek would have been the everyday language of the marketplace. The earliest manuscripts of the New Testament Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – are written in Greek.
.
Yes there is overwhelming evidence, both historical and linguistic that shows that the New testament texts were never originally written in Hebrew, as some Jews claim but they are known liars.. Show us this original Hebrew transcript of Matthew.. none exists..None.. all is in Greek.. and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek Not one.. The New Testament, however, was written in Greek. This seems strange, since you might think it would be either Hebrew or Aramaic. However, Greek was the language of scholarship during the years of the composition of the New Testament from 50 to 100 AD. The fact is that many Jews could not even read Hebrew anymore, and this disturbed the Jewish leaders a lot! So, around 300 BC a translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew into Greek was undertaken, and it was completed around 200 BC.
.
Gradually this Greek translation of the Old Testament, called the Septuagint, was widely accepted and was even used in many synagogues. It also became a wonderful missionary tool for the early Christians, for now the Greeks could read God’s Word in their own tongue. So again the New Testament authors wrote in Greek. They did not, however, use really high-class or classical Greek, but a very common and everyday type of Greek. For many years some scholars ridiculed the Greek of the New Testament because many of its words were strange to those who read the writings of the great Greek classical authors such as Plato and Aristotle. But later many records were uncovered of ordinary people, and amazingly there were the same common terms used in everyday speech! The ridicule dried up accordingly. The prominent first century Roman historian Josephus was a Jew himself who wrote in Greek.. it should be understood that there is a long history of “Hellenism” (Greek culture/influence) among the Jewish people, both in ancient Alexandria as well as in the Promised Land itself. Ossuaries dating from the Second Temple period indicate Greek artwork and Greek versions of Hebrew names In Biblical Archaeological Review , Pieter W. Van Der Horst writes, “One of the most surprising facts about funerary inscriptions [extant from ancient Palestine dating from 300 B.C. to 500 A.D] is that most of them are in Greek – approximately 70 percent; about 12 percent are in Latin; and only 18 percent are in Hebrew or Aramaic.” Furthermore, since the time of Alexander the Great (c. 330 B.C), many of the Jewish High Priests had become Hellenists ; which led to the rejection of the Temple by the Essene Community and eventually to the later Maccabean revolts.
.
Even the Dead Sea Scrolls include Greek texts among the Hebrew and Aramaic. ; So it’s clear that Hellenistic culture and Greek language were pervasive influences in Israel both before, during, and after the time when Jesus lived in ancient Israel and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek all of the ancient textual evidence for the New Testament is in Koine Greek, and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek.
.
The New Testament is by far the best-attested (and best preserved) literature of antiquity, with manuscript evidence dating back to the first century. ; For example, the Magdalen Fragments are written in a style of Koine Greek that was current in the 1st Century A.D. during the very lives of the apostles. Indeed, ancient papyrus expert Carsten Thiede and other scholars regard certain fragments from the Gospel of Matthew to be an eyewitness account. We have some anecdotal evidence of a gospel that underlies the others gospel accounts, but it is clear — both from history and from the textual evidence we have – that the Holy Spirit chose to use Koine (i.e., “common”) Greek as the language to reach out to the world. This is true, incidentally, of the Torah and Nakh, which were also translated into Koine Greek (i.e., the Septuagint, or LXX). Many of the oldest Biblical fragments among the Dead Sea Scrolls correspond more closely with the LXX than with the (later) Masoretic text, and indeed we have evidence of Koine Greek manuscripts that were discovered in the Qumran caves themselves…
.
Now when Jesus went into the synagogue and was handed the scroll of Isaiah that that scroll was written in Greek?and the the New Testament Gospels do include non-Greek words in the text (spelled with Greek letters). And some of these words are Aramaic ?So, while Jesus’ use of them may reflect his Aramaic speech, we can’t even be 100% sure of this. And we do not have in the New Testament Gospels a quotation of Jesus in Hebrew ..
.
Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.) The so-called “biblical case” for the Hebrew speaking Jesus rests mainly on one verse in, not in the Gospels, but in Acts of the Apostles. You absurdily cannot make a major statement with one fact, one verse.. when you have a whole Greek New testament.. one cannot use this as proof that he always spoke Hebrew, or mainly spoke Hebrew, or even spoke Hebrew in any other circumstance. In no other place does the New Testament tell us that Jesus spoke Hebrew. The fact that the Gospels are written in Greek shows that most of the earliest Christians, including some who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, knew Greek and used it often, perhaps as their first language. Many Jewish writings from the era of Jesus were written in Greek, including works such as 2 Maccabees and 1 Esdras.
Though Aramaic continued to be spoken by many, Greek grew in its popularity and influence. In the time of Jesus, well-educated Jews, mainly those of the upper classes, would have known and used Greek. So would those who were involved in trade or government Get wise and learn the truth. Jesus was not handed the dead sea scrolls.. he read from the Greek Scroll Bible. The presence and pervasiveness of Greek in Judea is demonstrated by a discovery in the Nahal Hever region of the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. In a cave, a scroll was found that contains substantial portions of the minor prophets in Greek. The so-called Nahal Hever Minor Prophets Scroll, dated around the time of Jesus, shows the influence and popularity of Greek, even among highly religious Jew..
.
In Matthew 8:5-13, for example, Jesus entered into dialogue with a Roman centurion. The centurion almost certainly spoke in Greek. And, as Matthew tells the story, he and Jesus spoke directly, without a translator. The same could be said about Jesus’ conversation with Pontius Pilate prior to his crucifixion (Matthew 27:11-14; John 18:33-38). If Jesus knew enough Greek to converse with a Roman centurion and a Roman governor, where did he learn it? at Home and in school.. Jesus’ hometown was a short walk from Sepphoris, which was a major city and one in which Greek was spoken.
.
Christianity is a new Religion that is not an updated Judaism, or a revised Judaism.. Most Messianic Jews too now are also still going to hell.. and they are firstly not willing to give up all to follow Jesus . For some Jesus must have spoken Hebrew to some people, otherwise somehow his mission as the Messiah would have been deficient. Some were worried that if Jesus spoke Greek he did not care for the Jews basically.. No one even knows what the Jewish Culture was like at the time of Jesus since the Romans burned all the Jewish books and Library and none exist today thus.. People who are hung up on a Jewish scripture still need the Holy Spirit to explain it anyway and most people do not have him, Jews especially.. .Read my posts and learn.. and stop trying to justify your perversions of the reality.. There is no existing evidence of a Hebrew Gospel of Matthew.. never has been . Why are they falsely so argumentative and hung up on a Hebrew Jesus? when most of the Jews have rejected him anyway and are mostly going to hell..
.
Did you notice how many of these Bible scholarly type still rarely quote the Bible now too? Even too many so called Pastors,,
.
There are supposedly some good translations out there that you can help you to understand the Bible more?
.
Many people who pay close attention to the original texts, have still missed the Gospel meaning itself. As even the already trained, well educated Bible translators cannot seem to agree with each other. Why? Our modern English Bible translations are excellent.
.
Most of the major English translations available today are supposedly superb renderings of the original Greek and Hebrew and yet why is it still that only a few of the readers next do even get saved, get a proper relationship with Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit?.
.
We must constantly remind ourselves that we are not studying the original languages; we are studying the Word of God. is an absurd statement still too. The human mind cannot understand any of the Holy Scriptures anyway cause all truths come solely by divine revelations from the Holy Spirit.. if you do not have the Holy Spirit wisdom here you are really still dumb. The Bible also makes it clear that the Spirit is the author of the Bible and that He will help us to understand the His Word 2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.; John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
.
Now too often the word Yeshua being used in place of the name Jesus. The liars using the Hebraic word, Yeshua, even suggest that Jesus is not correct. They used these as though they were both equally correct to identify Messiah, the Savior from Nazareth. Yes it is apparent that many of the people who use Yeshua look down on, to say the least, the usage of Jesus. In contrast to what some so-called Messianic Jews are teaching, our English translation of the New Testament did NOT come from the Hebrew or the Latin! The New Testament was translated directly from the Greek and the Old Testament directly from the Hebrew and Aramaic. Hence, our English NT translation is not a twice-removed translation of the name or anything else.
.
The present-day Yeshua people are similar to Paul before he became a Christian, who stated that at that time I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth (Acts 26:9).
.
How so many of these Messianic people seemingly hate the name of Jesus is really still amazing. Not only is Jesus now called a false messiah, but it is supposed to be for antijewish tradition! So this whole Yeshua thing is getting further and further from the truth. No Scripture Identifies Yeshua as Messiah.Yeshua people are trying to build a case with no proof from the New Testament. Again, the New Testament was not written in Hebrew but rather in Greek and translated directly into English for our English speaking society to read. So Almighty God wanted the known Greek speaking inhabited world at that time of the first century to know the name of Messiah, which brings salvation, healing and power over demons, to be “Iesous” (or Jesus in English) and not “Yeshua.” If God wanted the Jewish writers of the New Testament to use Yeshua they would have but they didn’t. To say Yeshua means “salvation” is not a clear connection to the Savior from Nazareth. It doesn’t identify the one who shed his blood on the cross of Calvary, rose from the dead and is coming back again, as the NT identifies Jesus of Nazareth.
.
Jesus has the name that is above every name (Phil. 2:9). It, therefore, should be used unashamedly in our English speaking society in spite of all the lies and fabrications being spread around by Messianic Jews. It is also noteworthy to consider that Paul was a Hebrew of Hebrews (Phil. 3:5), yet wasn’t off on some strange fictional concept that Iesous (Greek for the English equivalent Jesus) was inferior or of pagan roots like some Hebrews of our day that claim to believe in the Messiah of Christianity. o Bible Verse Tells Us  Messiah’s Name Is Yeshua. Would you please give us a Bible verse from the Hebrew Scriptures that tells us Messiah’s name is Yeshua? None have ever done so or ever will since Yeshua is never found in the OT or NT in reference to Messiah. Messiah is never identified by name in the Hebrew Old Testament Scriptures. And of what does Jesus’ Jewish identity have to do with anything? This is never magnified in the New Testament. Jesus is the Savior of all who will repent and submissively trust in him. Rev. 7 states there will be people in God’s kingdom from every tribe, people, language and nation all redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Of what nationality Messiah was as He walked the earth is totally irrelevant. God wants all to know the following: A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God (Rom 2:28,29).
.
Hence, in this manner all Christians are this type of Jew because their hearts have been circumcised by God’s Spirit. This is what the greatest example of Christianity ever produced wrote, who also happened to be of Hebrew descent.    The eternal record reveals the following about the name of Jesus. Ponder these Scriptures carefully please:
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins (Mat 1:21).
.
Do not stop him, Jesus said. No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me (Mark 9:39).
.
You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus (Luke 1:31).
.
On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived (Luke 2:21).
.
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31).
.
Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk” (Acts 3:6).
.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see (Acts 3:16).
.
Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed (Acts 4:10).
.
Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:18).
.
Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus (Acts 4:30).
.
His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go (Acts 5:40).
.
But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women (Acts 8:12).
.
Because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 8:16).
.
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus (Acts 9:27).
.
So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days (Acts 10:48).
.
Men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:26).
.
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her (Acts 16:18).
..
On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 19:5).
.
When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor (Acts 19:17).
.
Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 21:13).
.
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ – their Lord and ours: (1 Cor 1:2).
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought (1 Cor 1:10).
.
When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present (1 Cor 5:4).
.
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Cor 6:11).
.
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 5:20).
.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Phil 2:10).
.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Col 3:17).
.
We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Th 1:12).
.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us (2 Th 3:6).
.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess his name (Heb 13:15).
.And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us (1 John 3:23). http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/yeshua.htm

Equipped-

Equipped- Power, authority over demons, the gift of healing, and a Salvation Message…

Luke 9:1 THEN JESUS called together the Twelve [apostles] and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases, 2  And He sent them out to announce {and} preach the kingdom of God and to bring healing.Luke 9:6 And departing, they went about from village to village, preaching the Gospel and restoring the afflicted to health everywhere. Luke 9:11 But when the crowds learned of it, [they] followed Him; and He welcomed them and talked to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed restoration to health.

(Isa 61:1 KJV)  The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. 4  And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

(Luke 4:18 KJV)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

The goals, and the equipment  of our personal Ministry now in the world have not changed.

Most of us are familiar of a picture of an determined, persistent  explorer making his way through the jungle, equip with a water canteen, and a Machete, cutting the thick underbrush, so he can continue on the way though the jungle to reach the desired destination. Now all spirit filled Christian believers are also equipped to handle their roles, and life. Including the Knowledge of their personal forgiveness, salvation and the weapons of prayer and the refreshment of praise. The same equipment TO OVERCOME ALL OBSTACLES IN LIFE still needs to be used now too.

(Luke 18:1 KJV)  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2  Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3  And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5  Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6  And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7  And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? 9  And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

(Eph 5:1 KJV)  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

(1 Tim 2:1 KJV)  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

(1 Tim 5:5 KJV)  Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

(Heb 5:7 KJV)  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

and so do we continues in this teaching, guidance, instructions ourselves daily? why not? otherwise…

note why some have gone stray, failed in their tasks, have lost their light, savor.. why some have gone stray, (Mat 5:13 KJV)  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14   Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

(2 Pet 2:1 KJV)  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: 10  But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. 11  Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. 12  But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13  And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14  Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15  Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16  But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17  These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18  For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.  19  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Sadly too many professing Christians have now gone astray, lost their light, savor,

Luke 9:23 And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also]. Luke 9:24 For whoever would preserve his life {and} save it will lose {and} destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will preserve {and} save it [from the penalty of eternal death]. Luke 9:25 For what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits (loses) himself? Luke 9:26 Because whoever is ashamed of Me and of My teachings, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in the [threefold] glory (the splendor and majesty) of Himself and of the Father and of the holy angels.

Luke 9:60 But Jesus said to him, Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go {and} publish abroad throughout all regions the kingdom of God. Luke 9:62 Jesus said to him, No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back [to the things behind] is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 9:48 And told them, Whoever receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes this child in My name {and} for My sake receives {and} accepts {and} welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least {and} lowliest among you all–he is [the one who is truly] great.

Luke 9:35 Then there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, My Chosen One {or} {My Beloved}; listen to {and} yield to {and} obey Him!

Provincial governments in Canada are making record breaking profits by encouraging the citizens to consume even more  alcohol, beer and are making even  more even by the  taxation of these products. They should not be  encouraging the citizens to do so.

Our Canadian Christian evangelical Prime Minister Stephen Harper makes an essential stop at the Irish Guinness brewery, he sure has fooled all those fundamental western Christians who voted from him cause they had been lied to that he was an Christian evangelical abstainer    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/canada-pm-arrives-in-dublin-ahead-of-g8-summit-1.1430527

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Stephen Harper personally approved a $7,400 tab for (Alcoholic) “refreshments” for public servants about three months before his government announced a crackdown on hospitality expenses. Harper’s signature appears on an Aug. 26 approval form asking him to endorse the refreshment expense for a meeting of staff from the Privy Council Office, the prime minister’s own department. The so-called town hall meeting was held the morning of Sept. 13 at the posh Westin Hotel in downtown Ottawa, where a meeting room for the affair cost taxpayers about $5,000 an hour. Town halls for Privy Council Office staff were inaugurated by the Conservatives in 2006 and have rapidly risen in cost over the years from $19,000 to $42,000, the bill for the latest gathering. “Canadians have had to do a significant amount of belt tightening themselves as they’ve gone through these last couple of years, and they expect governments to do the same,” Day said on Nov.  24   Harper is not the first Conservative minister to sign a large hospitality bill for the benefit of public servants. Peter MacKay, then foreign minister, approved a $16,800 hospitality bill on March 2, 2007, to buy lunches for 400 Passport Canada employees doing weekend shifts. . http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101205/national/harper_hospitality

“Why Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper keeps his religion secret ?”  If the other fundamental Christian found out really what Harper now was like they would not support him or vote for him.. The liberal  Christian & Missionary Alliance Church itself, Harper’s  own church now, contrary to the  fundamental Baptists and Pentecostals  churches it does not openly prohibit the drinking of wine or smoking, or divorce.  PM Stephen Harper DOES DRINK ALCOHOL

Many EVANGELICAL Fundamentalist believe that all true professing evangelical Christians are total abstainers from alcohol, and IN A FALSE DENIAL, A FALSE UNBELIEF they refuse to admit the reality that some professing Christians, Christian leaders still do get drunk, drink alcohol. Why? the shock they have been lied too by such false leaders, false Christians is too much for a start..
  .
(Note FIRST to the evangelical ostriches who write to me and  deny the negative reality, as per the a witness at the Western  Standard blog who had REPORTED In Writing AS WELL ON this event , some of the People Present there when Stephen Harper and Preston Manning were present, and Harper spoke,  they Were now Getting DRUNK ON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. This too now Was NO CHRISTIAN, CHURCH GATHERING for sure, but  political events. Some people here say that no Christians drink alcohol.. yes, no real Christians do, but there are many false ones.. The news media have openly written about too many of the political events being even sponsored by the alcohol  makers too. So wake up evangelical Christian ostriches..)
  .

A Christian radio station in Red Deer Alberta , from Alberta’s once Bible belt too, wrote to me today and said they deny that Stephen Harper and his colleagues do , drinks beer, wine, alcohol, and that  Harper even  distributes any of it to others, cause real the Christians do not do this. Are they right or wrong about you to? Do openly tell us all. Some think you are a real Christian, are you deliberate now misleading them here too again? I am an abstainer and I do not give out any smokes,  playboy or wine too at any of my events.. what about you Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Preston Manning too? I do not believe rightfully either of you are real Christians.. for many good reasons now too. Nor do many others.
 .
(2 Cor 3:2 KJV)  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
 .

Since when is now his Christianity or the lack of it been a secret? I have been writing about Canada’s  Evangelical Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his really bad Christian Missionary Alliance Church and I  also wrote about his clearly often unchristian behavior since he became a prime minister even to all, on the net too,
.

..Insiders knew that the Latter rain Canadian evangelist in Lakeland Florida Rev Todd Bentley had gone of the deep end a long time ago much time before it became public, as usual too..  but they could not hide it forever..
 .
(1 Cor 11:28 KJV)  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30   For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
.
(Prov 3:33 KJV)  The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.Jesus himself had said that professing to be a Christian is not enough, and it applies now to a Prime Minister as well, one rather can  tell what a person is really like by what he does,  a True Christian is one who evidently is controlled by the Spirit of God and not by  self, sin, a real Christian is one where thus anyone can clearly see by the evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, including even self control.Matt 3:8 Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart];Gal 5:23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].Matt 7:16 You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?17 Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit. 18 A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].  19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
.
(Prov 16:25 KJV)  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of de.ath.

If you took 2 martinis or 2 beers a day you are an alcoholic. Alcoholism is a crime and not a disease, it is a crime, it is just as lethal, bad, and it is really unacceptable as selling or taking bad drugs too. Canada’s  bad drug problem, drunk driving, alcoholism is increasing not just amongst the teens, but also in the work place, in the government now as well even amongst the civil and public servants. Most major home violence, car or truck accidents are still associated with alcohol now too and not speeding. It’s a fact that  drinking alcohol can seriously damage one’s health and cause permanent brain damage as well .Alcohol may lead to liver problems, a variety of cancers as well as forms of osteoporosis and depression, and studies are showing, too, that women are more susceptible to the ill effects of alcohol than are men. Not one cent of taxpayer’s money should be ever used in the governments, civil  and public servants, expense accounts  to buy alcohol, wine  or beer.
.

To receive complete freedom from any sinful  bondages, the Believer must see his “habit” or being “hooked” as a spiritually rooted problem and confess it as a deliberate sin of Disobedience to God too. Acknowledging lust, Alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, drugs, lying, stealing, marijuana  and smoking as sin is prerequisite. Personal Confession of the sin according to (1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10   If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.and we all must choose to submit to God according to (James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10   Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (King James Version) 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
.
Christians are always to remain SOBER too. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 (King James Version) 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

.

Sober, obedient and not given to lusts of the flesh. 1 Peter 1:13-14 (King James Version)  13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Ephesians 5:11-21 (King James Version) 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them  12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms.
The police commissioners said alcohol-related crime cost an estimated $1.7 billion a year. They said 40 per cent of people detained attributed their offence to alcohol. Police chiefs unite in push for alcohol reforms  http://lastthing.wordpress.com/tag/alcohol/

“The minority Conservative government’s approach to multiculturalism will get an airing in a speech by Secretary of State Jason Kenney at the Brant riding association’s annual general meeting on Thursday. Kenney, MP for Calgary Southeast, has served in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government as Secretary of State for Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity since 2006. He has been active in promoting human rights – particularly freedom of religion – in autocratic countries. He is a member of Parliament’s Canada-Tibet Committee and was instrumental in the country granting honorary citizenship to the Dalai Lama in June 2006. The event will take place at the Sherwood Restaurant on Colborne Street East. Cocktails will be served at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Kenney is expected to speak starting at 8 p.m.” http://www.brantfordexpositor.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1016750

The Evangelical Christian PM Stephen Harper should also note that the New Conservatives themselves now tend to be just as much alcoholics as the Liberals. Any false preconceived notions that they generally are not is clearly a myth.

Look I am not alone in this view.. too many Canadian persons have noticed that we have much too many alcoholics in the governments, even as elected ones, even as leaders, Brian Mulroney was known for his boozing now too.. Regretfully still there  much too many alcoholics even in the Conservative party now for my liking,  , in this area too they are just as bad as the Liberal too it seems..  and who can forget Ralph Klein’s alcoholic outburts too, A man is certainly known what he is like by the friends he keep and having an brain damaged alcoholic as a friend, as a  drinking buddy is really no virtue, it is a sad recommendation,  a poor reference that you cannot even be now proud off.. The Prime Minister Stephen Harper a professing Christian Missinary Alliance Evangelcial too had said that the ex PM Brian Mulroney was a close friends.. he Harper now really better start to get better friends and appointees than his alcoholic drinking buddies.. and still not one cent of taxpayers’ money should ever be even used  to buy any alcoholic, alcohol  at any governmental function, expense account.. for we all know how bad alcoholism is and how much evil , suffering it brings, all alcoholics should be fired, especially all of the alcoholic the public and civil servants, all alcoholic  elected officials too  and  not rather falsely  rewarded with more alcohol for almost all of them are already known to be liars, cheat’s thieves, abusers, etc..

WE ALL DO NEED to have a right attitudes EVEN to all of leaders, pastors, elders too, and they have to lead by a good personal example too.

Genuine Born Again Evangelical Christians are total abstainers

1 Cor 6:10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers {and} slanderers, nor extortioners {and} robbers will inherit {or} have any share in the kingdom of God.

We know that alcoholicism is a terrible sin  that now damages the person’s brain, affects their ability  to work, to drive a car, and negatively affects their own behavior and affects many others too. The same reality is true of one taking now bad drugs as well. So I was also similarly shocked, surprised to discover the the falsely professing evangelical Christian Stephen Harper our Prime Minister likes to consume wine, alcohol, and he buys it for others as well.

Beyond a Biblical doubt the Genuine Born Again Evangelicals are total abstainers, like me, I never drink or touch wine or alcohol, at any time, nor do I give playboy, pornography, wine or wine glasses to anyone.

“The only other gift he paid for and kept from the APEC jamboree was a set of eight crystal wine glasses from Stephen Harper, Canada’s Conservative Party Prime Minister. Mr Harper also gave him two bottles of dessert wine. Mr Howard donated these for “use during an official function at the Lodge”.

Alcoholics, wine drinkers tend to have evidentially lost their self control..

I have often rightfully said to many preachers I would rather see them first by example live the life of Christ instead of merely preaching it others.  Preaching the Gospel is not an valid alternative to living it.  I even do know People who profess to be Christians and they are Alcoholics too.. but they are not Christians… They fool themselves only as to who they still really are too.

“ Results from a national survey of more than 1,000 human resource professionals nationwide found that 67% consider addiction and substance abuse to be among the most serious problems in the workplace. Released by the nonprofit Hazelden Foundation,  Interestingly enough, the survey revealed that 56% of the HR professionals say they believe addiction among women has increased over the last 5 years. ” Alcohoism is also a major unresolved problem in the police forces, the RCMP, civil and public servcie too..

“The most successful policing model in modern terms is the “zero tolerance” model used in New York. The strategy was known there as “one broken window” following the observation that where there were broken windows and rubbish in streets there was crime. During the programme’s operation in New York, the number of murders plummeted from 2,262 to 629.”

The welfare system in Canada  needs also to provide more understanding towards  the persons  with substance abuse problems.  If you take a look at all of who is in the welfare programs, you will find that at least 10 percent of the persons  involved with this program do even have  a substance abuse problem. So mandatory attendance at Alcoholic Anonymous for them is a must too. These same persons  with substance abuse problems can’t get a job next too otherwise

“And children of parents with substance abuse problems are more likely to be physically abused.  Furthermore, parents with substance abuse problems are less likely to hold a job or be able to care for their kids.  “

” A study conducted in NYC found that 75 percent of abused children had one parent with a substance abuse problem (GAO)” These abused, neglected children suffer next at school, in life and in their health as well as a result.

Some people try to sugar coat it all wrongfully but we do  need  harsher restrictions on the sale and marketing of all alcoholic beverages (restrictions such as advertising bans and higher taxes) for the end effect of Alcohol on many of the individuals ultimately is no different than smoking or using illegal drugs,  such as marijuana, crack, cocaine and heroin..

Not one cent of taxpayer’s money should be ever used in the governments, civil  and public servants, expense accounts  to buy alcohol, wine  or beer note that Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper

The Bible’s suggestions on electing rulers..
(Deu 1:13 KJV)  Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
(Deu 1:14 KJV)  And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
(Deu 1:15 KJV)  So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
(Deu 1:16 KJV)  And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
(Deu 1:17 KJV)  Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
(Deu 1:18 KJV)  And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.

(1 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
(1 Tim 3:2 KJV)  A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
(1 Tim 3:3 KJV)  Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
(1 Tim 3:4 KJV)  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
(1 Tim 3:5 KJV)  (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
(1 Tim 3:6 KJV)  Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
(1 Tim 3:7 KJV)  Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

While in fact, in truth also our different  political leaders like our Prime Minister Stephen Harper may,  may sound to some persons to be  sincere, even claiming to be Christian now too, he is  all now still mostly an immoral person, liar,    crafty, divisive, disrespectful, doing his own work, a work    in the flesh, seeking after more false followers too,  all cause he still   does not have the personal knowledge of God.. he and his followers  mainly do live in a different world, are in  a different league of fellowship  from   the real Christians..

(Eph 4:14 KJV)  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 17  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19  Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

According to the pastor Harper was a good Christian. The  hypocritical, pretentious fundamental right winged evangelical pastor of New Life Beginings in LaSalle, Quebec  Preaches next openly today now  for us not to have anything to do with a person who drinks wine, and to stand up against all people who do any wrong, to openly speak to them, and lies and says come and talk to me your pastor after church. I am always really interested to hear from you about all of your concerns but  in reality when you do try to talk to him..  I thus told him Harper drinks beer.. but since he himself cannot handle negative truths, he the ostrich no good pastor refuses to talk with me  and  says I am tired now, I refuse to hear any of that, I refuse to believe any of that, that is all gossip,  slanders, and we do not allow anyone who causes disturbance, problems, gives any criticism in our church, so please leave now. So much for their false professing Christian love, brotherly love, their openness now, free speech too.. The same pastor says he does not believe anything the news media writes at all. So who does he believe? only himself it seems.

For the record, Stephen Harper Prime Minister of Canada himself now did  not even deny to me that he drinks beers and/or alcohol, or that he even gives presents of alcohol to others as well. So why do any of the others?  http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/01/23/alcoholic/

too many Conservatives still also lie and say you can be a good family man and be an alcoholic as well..

the sad reality contradicts it often..  the broken next  homes..

and no man can serve two masters, for he will love one and hate the other..

PS anyone who is naive to say that professing Christians do not drink alcohol, get drunk just should read all the letters I often do get from professing Christian pastors acknowledging they drink wine, alcohol and trying to justify it.. I have often written about this too

Are Stephen Harper and Peter MacKay in reality now even alcoholics, liberal evangelicals who do consume wines, and offer it to others, and do they distribute porn now as well to others?

Genuine Born Again Evangelical Christians are total abstainers from smoking, drugs, alcohol, cheating, lying, stealing, tax evasions, pornography, or rather all personal vices, Impairments.. and what about Harper, Mackay?

But in Reality! These days it is too hard to tell the difference between secular persons and even evangelical pastors, Christians they seem to do the same things too. Especaily in Politics where a bad Conservative is just as bad as a bad Liberal.

Those who read my posts will note that I have often said both adultery (or  porn-lusts)  and alcoholism are the unacceptable too common sins of too many evangelical- Pentecostal  pastors.. even our Canadian premiers, prime ministers now too.. who all are supposed to be exemplary, abstainers too..

God is not mocked, what a man sows he reaps, and even if some falsely try to cover it up, it eventually is still exposed, shouted from the housetops.

And what is the secret part of it? That too many Evangelicals are ashamed of him for drinking alcohol? Many EVANGELICAL Fundamentalist believe that all true professing evangelical Christians are total abstainers from alcohol, and IN A FALSE DENIAL, A FALSE UNBELIEF they refuse to admit the reality that some professing Christians, Christian leaders still do get drunk, drink alcohol. Why? the shock they have been lied too is too much for a start..

EVANGELCIAL PRIME MINISTER  Stephen Harper : Canada  http://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/09/13/a-hireling-in-an-evangelical-church/

I had attended a recent comical church service,  New Beginnings Ministry 9412 Rue Clement Lasalle, QC H8R1T5 Phone: (514) 363-1080., a farcical circus, not the first time now too,  where Stéphane Chauvette Associate Pastor was preaching about everything, bashing everyone else, but somehow he could not keep his own promises, his  own word, or stay on a specific valid subject. And he made it clear if you  rock his boat he will next also kick you off the ship..  The  hypocritical, pretentious fundamental right winged evangelical pastor of this New Life Beginnings in LaSalle, Quebec  Preaches next openly  now  for us not to believe any of the news media and for us not to  have anything to do with any person who drinks wine, and to stand up against all of the people who do any wrong, to even openly speak to them, ( as long as it is not the pastor himself  for sure) and yet he lied and says come and talk to me your pastor after church. I am always really interested to hear from you about all of your concerns but  in reality when you do try to talk to him.. for next  I thus told him that our PM stephen Harper the supposedly good Christian now drinks beer/wine..  well  next the pastor really got upset at me..  since he himself cannot handle negative truths, he the ostrich no good pastor refused to further talk with me  and said  he was tired now, he  refuses to hear any of that, he refuses to believe any of that, for that is all gossip,  slanders, and also we do not allow anyone who causes disturbance, problems, gives any criticism in our church, so please leave now. So much for this supposedly Christ like church and their false professing Christian love, false brotherly love, their supposed openness now, and one’s free speech too..

For as George W. Bush would call him is on record as Harper saying if you don’t drink Canadian beer you’re a pansy  http://200milesup.newsvine.com/_news/2007/04/08/560786-world-leaders-that-confirm-their-countries-stereotypes-with-pictures etc.,
The Prime Minister is reputed to have a keen knowledge of rock music,

Loves rye (or beer) and hockey…

But the New Beginnings Ministry 9412 Rue Clement Lasalle, QC H8R1T5 Phone: (514) 363-1080.,   where the hireling Stéphane Chauvette Associate Pastor had  falsely denied that Harper drinks Alcohol.. so REALLY NOW I cannot trust him, for he lies to me all the time for he cannot face reality

For all the fundamental evangelical Christians who say that PM Stephen Harper DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL.. HERE IS THE REALITY “VANCOUVER, B.C. – It seems U.S. President Barack Obama owes Prime Minister Stephen Harper a few cold ones. The two leaders had a friendly bet on the outcome of Sunday’s gold-medal Olympic hockey game.   Team Canada came out on top, so Obama will have to pick up a 24-pack of Molson Canadian for the prime minister. Harper would have had to buy Obama a case of Yuengling beer if the U.S. had taken the top honour at the tournament. Team USA beat Team Canada in the first match-up between the two countries in the preliminary rounds, but Canada came out on top in a heart-stopping overtime round on Sunday. Harper was at the game in Vancouver but Obama did not make an appearance at the Olympics. The prime minister met with the gold medal winners in the locker room after the game to congratulate them. ”

I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN THE LYING US PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OBAMA SUPPORTER HAD SAID THAT CHRISTIAN OBAMA DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL..

Why you should believe in the Bible, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too?

It will lead you you God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too.

The Bible is an essential part of the Christian faith. Christians hold it in varying degrees to be the Word of God. To me this means that every word was inspired by God in its original and that on any one point God speaks what we should know through the whole Bible.

Any systematic teaching of Christian Doctrine will begin by establishing the centrality of the Bible to a true knowledge of God and his will.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (English Standard Version)

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

But knowing the facts and teachings of the Bible do not make a Christian.

John 3:16 (English Standard Version)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Knowledge about God does not mean we know God. But if we know God, Christians believe you can only gain knowledge about him through the Christian Bible. At each stage of its writing the Bible was complete and now with the completion of the Christian Bible, it contains everything we need to know about God for salvation. Essentially what everyone needs to know is that in Christ crucified we are saved. This is experienced through the working of God the Holy Spirit. Without the Bible telling us, we could not know this and realise it in our lives. Without the Bible we could not understand why we need to be saved, the nature of God or his means of grace.

This knowledge has been gained through the writings of ordinary men in their work-a-day languages through poetry, epics, prose, letters and proverbs. God chose each word and phrase of some forty authors’ writings to reveal himself to us.

Each of the sixty six books that makes up the Bible, written over 1500 years, needs interpreting for our understanding. The ordinary languages they were written in are for the most part dead. There is little doubt about the authenticity of the text and it is generally accepted that the text being translated is close to, if not identical to, the original. The job of the translator is to communicate the meaning of the text. This is done by word for word translations or by attempting to bring out the intended meaning through contemporary phrases and idioms. The whole process is open to scrutiny and criticism and certainly in English we have a wealth of translations.

Aside from the original writing of the books, there was no supernatural moment when the Bible was brought together; no blinding flash. Christians believe that the Bible is as it exists today, according to the tradition of the church though the content is certainly not there because of tradition. Tradition is wholly different in the understanding of the church, being its creeds, doctrines and, to some extent, liturgy and structures.

The books of the Christian Bible are complete, attested to and agreed by all Christian churches. Some churches have apocryphal texts but do not believe these to have authority. In fact, the canon of scripture seems to be one of the few areas of tradition where Christians have unity! The New Testament scriptures we have are the same as those of Irenaeus, a 2nd century bishop of Smyrna, whose boy hood mentor was Polycarp, a friend of the John of the Gospels. The New Testament canon (list of books) was set out by Athanasius in his Easter letter of 367 and included all the books from Hebrews to Revelation which had been a matter of regional variation from the 2nd century. Apart from faith, Christians can be secure in believing the scriptures we have to be reliable and trustworthy. That is not to say there are no problems with the text but Christians believe they can be resolved through study and that in no way will the integrity of the scriptures be undermined.

The world view contained in the Bible is that God created the universe; the Earth is special and men and women were created to live on it for God’s good pleasure. Through the sin of the first man called Adam, sin entered the whole of creation. What was created to be good is now subject to futility and death. It is hard to grasp, but everyone has a sense of this futility and feels the wrath God, but we can only know why through the Bible. The God of the Bible is just and merciful which again we could only know from the Bible. By nature we stand against him and our choice separates us from him eternally. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross the way back to God is open to all. By God’s sovereign work our eyes are opened to this and we receive a new nature which chooses to follow him. Jesus is shown to be God the Son who restores us and sets us apart for God’s pleasure eternally. The Bible teaches this and reveals that it is not by a work of our own effort, an effort to do better or study harder, but a supernatural work of his grace. At no point does the Bible allow that we are saved by our own effort.

The Bible in its writings teaches its own centrality to this world view and its authority to do so, but also its own inefficacy to save us. Jesus, speaking to a Scripture teacher of his time, says,

John 5:37-40 (English Standard Version)

And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.”

which is a word for word translation or, if you prefer a near contemporary version,

John 5:37-40 (The Message)

“But my purpose is not to get your vote, and not to appeal to mere human testimony. I’m speaking to you this way so that you will be saved. John was a torch, blazing and bright, and you were glad enough to dance for an hour or so in his bright light. But the witness that really confirms me far exceeds John’s witness. It’s the work the Father gave me to complete. These very tasks, as I go about completing them, confirm that the Father, in fact, sent me. The Father who sent me, confirmed me. And you missed it. You never heard his voice, you never saw his appearance. There is nothing left in your memory of his Message because you do not take his Messenger seriously.

“You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want.”

This is God’s grace as nothing can separate us from God’s love which is given to us by the Father, through Jesus and the action of the Holy Spirit. In this the Bible speaks to us and presents the foundations of his truth which is why it is an essential book for our times and central to the Christian faith.

Why you should believe in the Bible, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit too

Well Jesus had said without me you can do nothing  (John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7   If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

and he Jesus will also give you the Holy spirit to equip you and to guide you into all truth. (John 14:16 KJV)  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 15:26 KJV)  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

(John 16:7 KJV)  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

for without Jesus and the Holy Spirit you still cannot understand the Bible anyway..

FUNDAMENTAL EVANGELICALS AND SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSING CHRISTIAN CRITICS

1 Cor 15:33 Do not be so deceived {and} misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt {and} deprave good manners {and} morals {and} character.

Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived {and} deluded {and} misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.)   For whatever a man sows, that  is (also)  what he will reap. ( he can  reap too what others have sowed now too)

2 Tim 3:13 But wicked men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving {and} leading astray others and being deceived {and} led astray themselves.

Acts 20:29 KJV For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (Acts 20:30 KJV)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

THE WAY MANY FUNDAMENTAL EVANGELICAL AND SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSING CHRISTIAN CRITICS  TRY TO MAKE FUN AT OTHER CHRISTIANS IS SICKENING, A VERY POOR THEOLOGY AND IS SADLY NOW ALSO TYPICAL OF THE MUCH TOO OFTEN FALSE BASHING OF THE PENTECOSTALS  TOO! It clearly makes me think that Satan himself is behind most of it still too.

Fresh Fire Ministries Todd Bentley  – Canadian revivalist – preacher – Lakeland –  CHURCH WARNINGS – FALSE HEALING REVIVAL IN FLORIDA?  -Possessed – DEMONIC MINISTRY –  -Fraud -False Teacher –   devil possessed?-  False Prophet? outrageous   Highly Inaccurate “Prophet”- booted  -Dangerous Man-

Unlike the mostly control freaks, bullies, bashers, Pentecostal critics who also falsely try to shut me up, do delete my replies, I myself have been willing to talk about all of it openly and honestly too ,, but what is so new here anyway? Most relgious people rejected Jesus in His days too…

Now here is the problem I have , sadly and unacceptably fundamentals, others bashing the Pentecostals has been popular the last 30 decades as well, even though 75 percent of all Christian, even evangelical pastors, and  in all denominations are still bad, they too  are not spirit filled these days too..

“Andrew Strom says there are 9 Lies in the Church; Truth Watch agrees, but has he got the Right Answers?

An itinerant evangelist and preacher, Andrew Strom [AS] has recently posted a document on his website listing what he calls ‘nine lies’ afflicting today’s church. Truth Watch has reproduced Andrew’s nine lies because we are encouraged that some Charismatics and Pentecostals are aware that there is something amiss in many of their churches. Some of Andrew’s points support the objectives and claims made by Truth Watch.

[AS] “It is a sad fact that today’s church is deceiving itself in some very crucial areas. (Actually in many other areas now too)  Below are some plain facts that may shock a few people”:

[TW] Andrew’s [AS] opening statement is correct and accords with the premises contained in both our long and short declarations. More and more people appear to be recognising that there are some major problems in all of the evangelical church. (Not just in the Catholic, Pentecostal or Charismatic ones  )

[AS] 1. “Ask Jesus into our heart” is not in the Bible. Neither is “Give your heart to the Lord”, or repeating a “sinner’s prayer”. These practices do not exist in Scripture at all. The subject of salvation is the most important subject in the Bible and we are being lied to about it. These doctrines are a total fabrication. They were invented to make salvation “quick and convenient” Many church members today who are relying on these things are clearly not ‘saved’ at all”. ( Accept  now Jesus Christ as lord of your life is!)

[TW] AS is quite correct. This disturbing phenomenon has been apparent for a long time. A watered down gospel is ‘another gospel’ and is forbidden by Paul (Galatians 1:6-10). Because so many people are sold ‘cheap grace’ there are probably many in the church who are not really saved, many of whom leave. The church has suffered from this problem ever since Finney introduced such easy-believism ideas and techniques 150 years ago 9 (Even by the evangelists  DL Moody) . Ray Comfort has also correctly identified that claims concerning ‘decisions’ at many evangelistic events are misinterpreted as genuine conversion. This results in inflated figures that are used to support such techniques. True Biblical evangelism includes an emphasis on the sinful nature, God’s holiness and repentance, not just love and grace.

[AS] 2. “Church buildings do not exist in the Bible. They were invented around 200-300 AD, when the church was in serious decline. Only a backslidden church could fall so far away from the simplicity of the early church. Church buildings are anti-New Testament, and bring with them a host of problems and traditions. It was basically when the church fell into the hands of Rome that this concept of the “cathedral” really took over. And we are still spending millions on these monuments today”.(  and the tithe itself now was not used to support any church buildings, but solely the poor people and the church workers and their families, and the people who received the tithe were not allowed to own any property as well)

[TW] While we are opposed to unwarranted and lavish expenditure on buildings, especially if the cause of the gospel is likely to suffer, the fact is that Scripture doesn’t address the issue of owning property. AS’s point is therefore made rather more strongly than needed. ( But when most Church Properties theses day are owned, managed by a Cooptation that is not fully, daily accountable to the direct  congregation this is really unacceptable too)

His argument also misses an important point: for the first 200 years the churches could not own property freely as a persecuted and illegal sect. Even in the NT it is clear that the early church was open to meeting in public buildings (eg: Acts 19:8-10). It is interesting that as soon as they were permitted to do so many churches did buy or build their own facilities – implying there was no inherent opposition to ownership per se. Churches should be free to follow their consciences in this area, but should be open to a challenge based on a claim of unwise stewardship. This claim could be levelled at many churches today who spend a great deal of money on buildings at the expense of their willingness or ability to learn correct doctrine and spread the right gospel.

[AS] 3. “The ‘one pastor runs everything’ model is totally unscriptural. Far from running everything, in the book of Acts we find the word “pastor” NOT EVEN USED ONCE. (The early church did have strong leaders and elders. But it was never a “one man band” like we see today. And never was it so “controlling” either)”.

[TW] We are not sure what he implies when he says the word pastor is never used in Acts. It is used in Ephesians  and only once. But his basic premise is quite correct. Many church leaders assume they have some sort of divine right to rule. They become ‘nicolaitans’ (‘heavy shepherding’ – Revelation 2:6) – those who like to exert power over the people, often leading them into error in the process. A pastor’s proper role is that of the shepherd (closely associated with teaching) equipping the people to be mature and active in the faith (eg: Ephesians 4:11-16). The problem is not pastors per se, but rather pastors who abuse their authority and role and refuse to bow to the Scriptural standards for shepherding a church.

[AS] 4. “Tithing” is not a New Testament practice at all. And it is being shamefully abused by today’s preachers. In the New Testament we are told to give cheerfully – whatever we purpose in our hearts to give. Telling people that they MUST give 10% to the church or they are “robbing God” is totally sick – and a money-grubbing way of twisting Scripture. There is no evidence that the apostles EVER preached ‘tithing’ to New Testament believers. It was clearly regarded as an Old Testament practice”.

[TW] AS’s makes his point rather simplistically but he is correct. Tithing at most establishes a guideline for voluntary NT giving but it is not mandatory. Sadly, many churches make tithing an article of faith. Nicolaitan pastors are often associated with a heavy emphasis on tithing. Some use money gathered in this way to support a lavish lifestyle and/or they waste it on foolhardy ventures.

[AS] 5. “The words “prosper” or ‘prosperity’ was NEVER used by Jesus at all – and only exist a couple of times in the entire New Testament. Yet greedy preachers have built whole kingdoms upon them. The words – “sell what you have and give to the poor” and “deceitfulness of riches” and “you cannot serve God and mammom” and “woe to you that are rich” were DEFINITELY used by Jesus and the apostles. But we don’t hear these things preached too much, do we?”

[TW] We have made a feature of decrying the so called ‘faith-prosperity gospel’. It is a shameful deceit that will not go unpunished. It brings the Word of God and the witness of true Christians unjustifiably into disrepute (see 2 Peter 2:17-19). AS is quite right. Nicolaitanism, the false tithing message and faith-prosperity are often associated.

[AS] 6. “There were no Bible Colleges, Seminaries or degrees in the New Testament. The only people who seemed to have “Bible Schools” were the Scribes and Pharisees! The apostles were simple fishermen and tax collectors. It is likely that a number of them could not even read or write. What was their “qualification” for being in the ministry? Simply that they had SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH JESUS. The fact that people expect a “professional clergy” today with degrees from Bible College has helped to make the church sicker and more unscriptural than ever. Simple humble people with a calling from God often cannot get to minister because they do not have a “piece of paper” to make them ‘qualified’.-Yet another disaster for the church.”

[TW] While biblical scholarship is not wrong per se it is true that an over-emphasis on theological studies, as the main criteria for pastorship, is wrong. It is wrong because it is dangerous. A person’s gifting and calling for leadership and teaching comes from God, not a theological college. However, it does not follow that formal theological, (cemetary training ) is inherently wrong.

It makes sense for a group of churches to pool pastoral training expertise and resources – but any such institutions or arrangements should be orientated to serving the churches and training pastors as a priority. Pastors and elders should emerge from within the church, not from seminaries. A danger here is to overreact and deny the need for proper training – leading to poorly taught leaders who are weak in the Word and vulnerable to deception and sin. ( Sadly getting a seminary degree does not mean one is holy sprit filled, nor even Christian for that matter)

[AS] 7. “There is almost no evidence whatsoever that the early church had their “main meeting” on a Sunday. They gathered together ‘from house to house’ virtually every day! There were no church buildings. They did not dress up and “go to church”. There were no denominations. There were no separate groups with different ‘labels’. They lived their lives together – all the Christians in the local area. Love and fellowship and ‘koinonia’ were as natural to them as breathing. And the apostles in Jerusalem preached every day at huge open-air gatherings. -Not “hidden away” inside four walls. This was truly a “street church” in every way.” ( actually there church  meetings stared on the first day of the week, and they started Saturday at 6.00 pm and continued likely till the wee hours of Sunday morning, and similar meetings were often held during many other days of the week too)

[TW] AS is just plain wrong on this point. Christians may have met everyday in the very first days, but they also shared all in common (Acts 2:44-46). Most Christians don’t see this early post-Pentecost situation as normative for today (does Andrew believe we should share everything?). It is clear that the later regular practice of NT churches was to meet regularly once a week for public worship on the 1st day (Sunday)/”Lord’s Day” (eg: Acts 20:6-7; 1 Corinthians 16:1-3 cf Revelation 1:10).

Early historical examples of Sunday worship:

AS should also refer to the Diadache (written sometime between 70-120AD – believed by most scholars to be the earliest church document outside the NT)
http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/didache.html
14:1 But every Lord’s day gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure
(Chapter 11 shows they already had problems with many false prophets!)

Sunday worship in Epistle of Ignatius to the Magnesians (c115AD) Chapter IX
http://www.ccel.org/fathers2/ANF-01/anf01-17.htm#P1504_264385
If, therefore, those who were brought up in the ancient order of things have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s Day, on which also our life has sprung up again by Him and by His death

Sunday worship in Epistle of Barnabas (c100AD) Chapter XV(15)
http://www.ccel.org/fathers2/ANF-01/anf01-41.htm
Ye perceive how He speaks: Your present Sabbaths are not acceptable to Me, but that is which I have made, [namely this, ] when, giving rest to all things, I shall make a beginning of the eighth day, that is, a beginning of another world. Wherefore, also, we keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead and when He had manifested Himself, He ascended into the heavens.
We could give many other examples, and this all 300 years before Constantine made Sunday ‘official’ (but he was only recognising the actual practice of the churches).

AS rightly points out that there were no denominations in the NT. However, there were hardly the numbers to allow this or time for many errors to arise in a coherent manner. Unfortunately today denominations are a necessary evil if Christians are to worship in conscience freely yet still recognise each other as Christians. To force us all into one church necessarily leads to ecumenical ‘control-from-the-top’ or doctrinal compromise – the very things Andrew opposes!

A better solution to these percieved issues is not to abolish Lord’s Day worship, but to promote a consistent church life through the week and to seek unity based on a common committment to the Truth. [For more on this issue see our article on church unity]

[AS] 8. “The idea that you can replace the moving of the Holy Spirit with programs, programs and more programs just shows how low we have sunk. Man-made programs are everywhere today. The early church had much more of God and much less of ‘man’.”(  One of the most boring events in  life is to sit through these predictable unspiritual, sad events still too)

[TW] AS fails to say that the Spirit speaks through the Word ( but even then not solely and the Holy Spirit  still uses Prophecies now as well) , or that we need to return to the Word ( Firstly meaning Jesus Christ) . Hence he leaves the door open to people having “words” claimed to be of the Spirit. Such “words” are often used to justify unbiblical practices. This may be AS’s achilles heel. He has talked of going to set up a ministry in Kansas City, USA. If this means he plans to work with the so called Kansas City prophets it suggests AS’s doctrine in regard to the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit is flawed. [For further information read our letter to the pastor of the Upper Hutt City Fellowship concerning Rick Joyner]

[AS] 9. We preach a ‘humanistic’ Jesus today. – A Jesus who exists mainly for our own “happiness”. A Santa Claus who wants to rain down continual blessings upon us. A God of grace and mercy without judgement, righteousness or truth. Our gross misrepresentation of who Jesus really is, is one of the most serious offences of the modern church. Today’s church seems to worship a “plastic” Jesus – one that she has made in her own image. What an offence to God.

A lot of preachers are well aware that there is some thing very wrong with the church today.  (It is mostly the preachers themselves that are not right with God) They know there is little ‘fear of the Lord’. They know there is no deep repentance or deep moving of the Holy Spirit. They know that it is just the same old “game” being played every week. A lot of them are very aware of this. But they will not do anything about it. They will not rock the boat. And they will “squash” anyone who comes along trying to do something. They do not want a real “shaking”. There is too much to lose. They have their careers and their little ‘kingdoms’ at stake. This is the real truth of the matter. This is where the rubber truly meets the road.

That is why God is about to bring “Great Reformation”. He will not put up with these ‘hirelings’ any longer. He will not have them as leaders over His people. A lot of them are about to “lose their heads”. They will never lead God’s people again. This is what true ‘Reformation’ is all about. It is the process of replacing the old leadership and the old lies. -It is David taking over from ‘Saul’.

There is a ‘New Wineskin’ coming. In fact it is upon us. There is a new leadership arising – many of them trained in the ‘wilderness’ for such a time as this. The hour is now here. LET THE NEW LEADERS ARISE! The sad fact is that today’s church has sunk so low that it is almost a matter of people needing to be RESCUED OUT OF HER. I never thought I would say something as radical as that, but it is the truth.

The entire church is living a lie. Many inside her are told continuously that they are “OK” – that they are saved and headed for heaven. Nothing could be further from the truth. Multitudes of them are headed directly for hell. The systemized LYING that is going on has deceived the leaders and the people alike. It is the blind leading the blind. We need to contend for these people – desperately. Much of the church is “lost”. They are mired in deception – an entire system of deception.”

[TW] Again, AS is generally right in his initial observations here, but his solutions badly miss the point. A true reformation only comes about through a faithful and repentant/prayerful return to the priority of the Word. Only as the church reforms in light of the Scriptures and becomes more faithful in proclaiming the gospel – can we regain hope of a genuine revival. Andrew’s over-emphasis on a supernaturally restored leadership is putting the cart before the horse. Godly leadership will only come from a return to the supremacy and priority of the Word and its associated truth. AS’s exaggerated view of the Spirit has distracted him. He needs to remember that the Holy Spirit comes to lead us into all truth, hence TW’s insistence on a return to a correct understanding of God’s Word. ” http://www.truthwatch.info/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=112

My concluding comment

Our actions must be founded on what we know to be true from God’s Word, and that what is being directed us  personally to each one of us by the Holy Spirit, and to do that we all still do need to continually in reality live a Holy Sprit filled life. it starts by daily reading the Bible, having a Bible devotional, and sadly even most pastors do not do that too.

Unbelievable! The internet control freaks, false spin doctors..

(Job 8:22 KJV)  They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought

(Rev 19:10 KJV) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

(Rev 18:2 KJV) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

IT IS NOW MORE  RARE BUT I DO ALSO NOW STILL GET BULLIED BY RELIGIOUS BULLIES, ABUSERS TOO..  not just by the past bad cops

The WRONGFULLY STILL Unrepentant  bully’s problem is that he or she is one of those bad persons  who only feels truly alive when voicing hostility and contempt for his “enemies.” Without that, he or she starts gasping for air. It’s his nature.. self-destructive” ..  clearly these immoral  Bully, Basher of others, Abusers of others has a disappointed, deflated ego, negative self worth,  most likely related to past unresolved guilt, as a result  of  that   the bully, he or she, tries falsely to   build  their ego up by bashing, hating others, by being an antagonists against  his proclaimed enemies, which too often also  is most people , for  he or she no longer trust anyone, and Abusers this is a common very typical approach, fact in the character build up of Bullies, Bashers, but their approach is futile, the subsequent feeling of self worth dissipates too quickly, are actually replaced by guilt,  and his ego, self worth likely needs to be recharged with new hate.. and is replaced with more and larger hatred of the others.  I have seen this type of wrong behavior not just in bad managers, bad politicians, bad persons, but  in alcoholics, and most often in Albertan rednecks ,but also  in religious   fundamentals evangelicals who promote hated towards Pentecostal Christians as well, and  now as well as the crooked pastor wrongfully  fighting for control over others. Public exposure and prosecution of these bad persons here too services everyone’s best interest.

Some PASTORS, INTERNET bashers think they can bully, abusers others and we all do have to accept it quietly.. Dream on.. Never! Not on your life.. FOR there are laws against such bad acts and such bad people and they now all should be exposed, prosecuted, especially starting with all of those the denominational control freaks, and the false Pentecostal haters too.Simple too!

“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness” (James 3:1).

For the last decade  I only have about 30   internet sites but still it is too often I next find some bad complaining about my posts, writing for the very bad some guys do not like me to use my right of    free speech..  but so what else is new..  for some persons, more like little children,  are not humble servants of Jesus for sure… even if they lying claim to be too. Some blog owners  come to my site and make a post, so  when I reply to their post it next does shows up next on their own computer under comments..  and as far as  posting on the  Blog owners site anyone can write to it.. and the   Blog owners  next can, and do   simply delete the posts if it is not to their liking too.. … of course this is common sense.

BUT sadly  there are many PERSONS now even   on the many Christian internet sites how they think they alone can make the all of the POSTS , THEY EVEN DEMAND THE POSTS on their own site  BE WRITTEN TO THEIR OWN LIKING, REALLY RIDICULOUS   and  they now CLEARLY need to grow up..  and   to firstly get used still to the right of the  free speech of others, other’s, their right to be heard and to make their own posts ..

(Mat 7:3 KJV)  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
(Mat 7:4 KJV)  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
(Mat 7:5 KJV)  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
(Mat 7:6 KJV)  Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
(Rom 14:15 KJV)  But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
(Rom 14:16 KJV)  Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
(Mat 3:10 KJV)  And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
(Mark 13:12 KJV)  Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
(Mat 18:15 KJV)  Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
SO HOW MANY OF THE BASHERS NOW HAVE FOLLOWED ALL OF THESE VERSES
(1 Sam 15:23 KJV)  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD,
As old as the tendency of us all to rebel,  the human tendency to create sexy idols, is also the falsely tendency to try to uplift one’s own self esteem by falsely bashing others, under the guise of free speech, confronting others in the process wrongfully now too violating a dozen of Biblical mandates, commandments too
(Luke 17:3 KJV)  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Such a futile approach is always futile, cause you are really not fooling anyone but yourself as to why you are really doing it.. too many now  just are using this as a false excuse to uplift themselves  and  to promote THEIR false site too?

It is ALSO NOW VERY funny these Christian bashers tend to oppose to having Bible verses posted on their sites too? why?? they really are not spiritual?
(Mat 24:35 KJV)  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(Mark 8:38 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
(Mark 13:31 KJV)  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
(Luke 9:26 KJV)  For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
(Luke 21:33 KJV)  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
(John 5:47 KJV)  But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
(John 12:48 KJV)  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
(John 14:23 KJV)  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
(John 15:7 KJV)  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
(Acts 2:14 KJV)  But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
(1 Cor 4:21 KJV)  What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

(Gal 5:23 KJV)  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(Gal 6:1 KJV)  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

(Eph 4:2 KJV)  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

(Col 3:12 KJV)  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

(1 Tim 6:11 KJV)  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

(2 Tim 2:25 KJV)  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

(Titus 3:2 KJV)  To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.

(James 1:21 KJV)  Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

(James 3:13 KJV)  Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

(1 Pet 3:15 KJV)  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Hey I too have noticed that bullies falsely object to me defying them, and defending Todd Bentley, Pentecostals, now as well I am sorry now for them too.. WE ALL DO HAVE THE SAME RIGHT TO WRITE AND TO BE HEARD NOW AS WELL on the net too..

(1 Cor 14:29 KJV) Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

(1 Cor 14:30 KJV) If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

(1 Cor 14:31 KJV) For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

I now also have rightfully warned these liars, abusers, slanderers, Pentecostal haters on the net that they can be prosecuted for Libel, Hate, by the Queen’s courts and the Human Rights commission in Canada, and next their site material can be deleted in full as it has been already done to others.
