The Bible and the Greek Language

HOLY SPIRIT (36)

 .

Following the Bible,  the teaching of Christ and following the Holy Spirit are not necessarily the same.. as one can be a carnal Christians in contrast to  to a Holy Spirit anointed Christian. As a Christian you can be surrounded by Bibles and even other Christians, be in a church even, and still be not  filled with the Holy Spirit. Or you can even  be alone, but still be Spirit-filled.

 .

“…Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it…” (Romans 6:1, 2)

.

What is the reason more Christians aren’t filled with the Holy Spirit? They are walking in unconfessed sin, are ignorant of the Holy spirit, most t they do not pray, read the Bible even 5 minutes a day.. They had  choose to disobey God. This can even take the form of pride: wanting to do  things our way. We don’t also now give God control of our finances; we falsely claim worked hard for our money and it’s ours now. We don’t give God control of our desires, will, emotions, our career, relationships; nor do we  forgive that other person when it’s really still their fault? We don’t give God control of our personal morality; that’s nobody’s business but our own—not even God’s. That’s also our false pride talking. We may not want to give up our sins, sinful ways and habits too..  All sin is sin by choice in one sense or another and God always makes it possible for us to not sin if we are willing to ask for his help  The Scripture still says, “He [God] mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble” (Proverbs 3:34).

 .

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

“Whoever knows what is right to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin” (James 4:17)

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God (here referring to Jesus) and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” (James 1:27)

‘If anyone sees his brother committing what is not a mortal sin, he will ask, and God will give him life for those who sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which is not mortal.’ (First John 5:16,17)

.

“But immorality (porneia) and all impurity (akatharsia = “lack of being purged”) or covetousness (pleonexia = the desire of having more and more of something) must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. Let there be no filthiness (aischrotes = dirty, disgraceful or shameful conduct), nor silly talk (morologia = dull, stupid or idle talk), nor levity (eutrapelia = facetiousness, crude joking), which are not fitting (appropriate); but instead let there be thanksgiving. Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for it is because of these things that the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience…” (Ephesians 5:3-6)

“For if we sin deliberately (hekousios = willfully) after receiving the knowledge (epignosin = full knowledge) of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice of sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries. A man who has violated the law of Moses dies without mercy at the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think will be deserved by the man who has spurned the Son of God, and profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who has said, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ And again, ‘The Lord will judge his people.’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:26-31)

 .

“As for the man who is factious (hairetikos = divisive, self-willed), after admonishing him once or twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is perverted (lit., ‘turned inside out’) and sinful (sinning); he is self-condemned.” Titus 3:10,11)

 .

Our sin  can take another form: fear. Proverbs states, “Fear of man will prove to be a snare…” (Proverbs 29:25). Here is something that God wants you to do, but you haven’t done it because you’re afraid of what people will think? You say  can’t do that, I would look foolish if I did that. God can’t possibly want me to do that. But yes He does!

 .

Indulgence in sin therefore does bring irreversible losses into our lives. We must continue to experience the inevitable “law of the harvest” which, to say the very least, may handicap even a thoroughly repentant sinner for a long period of time so that it is difficult to be preoccupied in his new life with the fruitful work of “sowing to the Spirit.”

.

“Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly – mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).

.

Apostle Paul  himself now in the New testament clearly distinguished between two types of Christians: the spiritual, holy spirit Baptized  Christian and the carnal Christian,  Carnal here means “fleshly”,  unspiritual . Many Christians these days too are still really carnal persons and  thus  holy spirit ignorant cause they still have not made Jesus Christ the full, sole lord of their life.. “  What distinguishes the carnal Christian from the spiritual Christian? It isn’t that the carnal Christian lacks or have falsely neglected a significant part of Christ or the Holy Spirit part –

.

“I went home and for the first time in my life began to read the Word of God daily, continually AND NEXT the Holy Spirit definitely had come into my life to stay.”

.

Still a mere   prayer alone does not save anybody. You could pray your entire life and still go to Hell when you die (Matthew 6:7). A sinner’s prayer is NOT the gospel. The real gospel is making  the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ  a part of your own life, trusting solely upon His death, burial and resurrection as payment for your sins.  (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” The Greek word for “call” here means “to invoke, appeal, to petition.” It  means also to make  Jesus also  the Lord to be saved, dying to self and living solely for Jesus by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was given to us  by Christ to enable one  to live the Christian life!

.

The full Christian life is possible only with the life, the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God, as are the Son and the Father and also is a person. He has a personality. He is a divine person with a will and emotions. The Holy Spirit possesses all the attributes that the Son and the Father have. He is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), immutable (unchanging) and eternal. He is the third person of the trinity. The Holy Spirit convicted you of your sin and your need for Christ (John 16:8-11). The Bible explains that without the Holy Spirit’s help, people think Christianity is foolish (1 Corinthians 1:18). The Holy Spirit is a teacher and enabler. He leads you to the truth of God’s Word. He illuminates the Bible so you are able to understand and apply its truth (John 16:13,14). He gives power and spiritual effectiveness in your life. He also intercedes for you before the Father when you feel like you don’t know what or how to pray (Romans 8:26,27).

.

“Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to. Don’t drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him.” (Ephesians 5:17). a Holy Spirit   fruit is that which is produced from a Holy Spirit centered life: “But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and here there is no conflict with Jewish laws” (Galatians 5:22.23).

.

The Bible demands that all Christians be continually  “led” by the Spirit. That implies we get to know him first, next we obey what He says: Simply He leads, we follow.  We have the choice each day: Will we let the Holy Spirit lead us, or will we be controlled by self, the devil actually then. The control of the Holy Spirit is our choice. It’s always still unforced submission, voluntary, and that is why so many miss the mark..

.

You can claim  your desire to be under  the Holy Spirit’s control  by faith claiming God’s will, promises for you to do so and through prayer such as “Heavenly  Father,I acknowledge that I have been directing my own life and that, as a result, I have sinned against You. I have been sinful, rebellious and thus now I confess, admit  need You and your Holy Spirit. I thank You that You have forgiven my sins through Christ’s death on the cross for me. I now invite Christ to again take His place on the throne of my life. In Jesus name now Fill me with the Holy Spirit as You commanded me to be filled, and as You promised in Your Word that You would do if I asked in faith. I do pray this in the name of Jesus. And as an expression of my faith,  I surrender all to you, I now thank You for directing my life and for filling me with the Holy Spirit.”

.

“If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; but If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship the One with the other, and the blood of Jesus his Son (continuously) cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and the truth is not in us.” (I John 1:6-10, my paraphrase)

.

Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be dishonestly motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.)
.
A typical Jew in Jesus’ time had only one name, sometimes supplemented with the father’s name or the individual’s hometown Thus, in the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as “Jesus of Nazareth”[e] (Matthew 26:71), “Joseph’s son” (Luke 4:22), and “Jesus son of Joseph from Nazareth” (John 1:45). However, in Mark 6:3, rather than being called the son of Joseph, he is referred to as “the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon”.
 .
The name Jesus, as found in several modern languages, is derived from the Latin Iesus, a transliteration of the Greek Ἰησοῦς (Iesous).[Jesus (/ˈdʒiːzəs/; Greek: Ἰησοῦς Iesous; 7–2 BC to 30–33 AD), also referred to as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity (the world’s largest religion),[  whom the teachings of most Christian denominations hold to be the Son of God. Christianity holds Jesus to be the awaited Messiah of the Old Testament and refers to him as Jesus Christ, a name that is also used in non-Christian contexts.Since early Christianity, Christians have commonly referred to Jesus as “Jesus Christ The word Christ is derived from the Greek Χριστός (Christos ]  meaning the “anointed”
 .
Of the three languages that Jesus might have spoken: Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic now the  Hebrew for sure is the least likely..Aramaic is a Semitic language, related to Hebrew, Arabic, and other  similar languages and so some people still do claim this was Jesus  main  language but they cannot prove this..  Even if some  grave inscriptions around Jerusalem are in Aramaic, not Hebrew.
 .
The widespread use of Greek or Aramaic among even the Jews is a fact,   but  Aramaic was one of language of the people, though many people at the Time of Jesus would   get along in Greek mainly. Not in Hebrew.
 .
“For many years it was common to envision Jesus as growing up in the countryside of Galilee, far removed from multi-cultural hodge-podge of the Roman Empire. But this idealized view of the rustic Jesus is far from the truth, a myth in fact… Though he grew up in a small town, he was not at all cut off from the broader Roman world. In fact Jesus grew up with ample exposure to Greco-Roman language, culture, commerce, politics, religion, and philosophy. When he eventually entered Jerusalem to confront the Roman and Jewish authorities there – and to give his life in the process – Jesus was no naive country bumpkin making his first trip to the big city. Rather he was well aware of powers and perils he faced, and he faced these knowing, as he ultimately said to Pontius Pilate (in Greek, I believe), “My kingdom is not from this world” (John 18:36).”
 .
The question of Jesus’ primary language would be settled if we knew what people in Nazareth in the first decades of the first century A.D. were speaking. Unfortunately, this knowledge is  elusive more than many  would like to  admit. In Reality  there is no specific evidence about the language spoken in Nazareth during the life of Jesus. We don’t have inscriptions or ancient manuscripts that can be placed in Nazareth at this time. Undeniably as well.. It makes sense that residents of Nazareth spoke Aramaic is still not an actual fact or proof..
 .
A few still try to  believe that people in Nazareth spoke Hebrew as their primary language. This is  unlikely. Hebrew may well have been used by  Jewish separatists (those who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls),  but still  we have no real, definite strong evidence for the common use of Hebrew in Nazareth and the surrounding region of Galilee. We have  acknowledge the multilingual environment of Jesus’ culture under the Greek language, Roman Rule..
 .
In recent years, more scholars are taking seriously the possibility that Jesus mainly spoke Greek. it is worth nothing that Greek was commonly used in certain strata of Galilean society. This began when Alexander the Great conquered the region in 332 B.C. Under his rule, and under the rule of those who followed him (the Ptolemies and the Seleucids), Greek was the language of government and commerce. The Romans used Latin for official communication, but Greek was the common language of the Empire. Greek was the common language of the Roman Empire.
 .
Would people in Nazareth have spoken Greek? Yes many of them would have been familiar with Greek and used it in their businesses. In fact, Nazareth was a short walk from Sepphoris, one of the major cities of Galilee, where Greek would have been the everyday language of the marketplace. As a craftsman living near Sepphoris, Jesus had to know  Greek to do business with the people there. It is difficult to the extreme to interpret from the fragmentary evidence available and draw conclusions for the use of any Hebrew  language in late second-temple Galilee.
 .
In Matthew 8:5-13, for example, Jesus entered into dialogue with a Roman centurion. The centurion almost certainly spoke in Greek. And, as Matthew tells the story, he and Jesus spoke directly, without a translator.  The story suggests more immediate communication, which would have been in Greek. The same could be said about Jesus’ conversation with Pontius Pilate prior to his crucifixion (Matthew 27:11-14; John 18:33-38). Now  the telling of the story points to a Greek-speaking Jesus. (Pilate would have used Greek, not Latin, as  it’s unlikely that he would have known or used Aramaic. Pilate for sure was not the sort of man who would stoop to use an other  language .
 .
Yes it very reasonable to assume that Jesus did speak Greek and maybe Aramaic upon occasion ,
 .
The earliest manuscripts of the New Testament Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – are written in Greek with rare Aramaic use. The minor existence of Aramaic words and phrases on the lips of Jesus, shows   that Jesus spoke some Aramaic only as used it in his ministry. evidence for Jesus’ speaking Aramaic even  will be circumstantial only is insignificant.
 .
The fact that the Gospels are written in Greek shows that many if not most of the earliest Christians, including some who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, knew Greek and used it often, perhaps as their first language.
 .
Many Jewish writings from the era of Jesus were written in Greek, including works such as 2 Maccabees and 1 Esdras. Other Hebrew writings were being translated into Greek in Jerusalem (the book of Esther, for example, in 114 B.C.). Speaking of Jerusalem, scholars have found some ninety Greek inscriptions on ossuaries (boxes for bones) that date to around the time of Jesus and were found in or around Jerusalem.
 .
Ever since Alexander the Great conquered Judea  in 332 B.C., Greek had been the language of government and, increasingly, commerce and scholarship.  Greek was undeniable  as the main  popularity and influence. In the time of Jesus, well-educated Jews, mainly those of the upper classes, would have known and used Greek. So would those who were involved in trade or government.   in their business and travels to the other cities of the Roman empire too.
 .
The presence and pervasiveness of Greek in Judea is demonstrated by a discovery in the Nahal Hever region of the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. In a cave, a scroll was found that contains substantial portions of the minor prophets in Greek. The so-called Nahal Hever Minor Prophets Scroll, dated around the time of Jesus, shows the influence and popularity of Greek, even among highly religious Jews.
 .
One can uphold the inerrancy of Scripture and also still believe that Jesus spoke   Greek.
 .
Therefore, should we be  encouraged to pay close attention to the meaning of his teaching in light of the Roman, Aramaic, Hebrew cultural and religious milieu, as we really do not know not too much as not much  remains from that time in writing honestly or accurately available to us all even if some claim otherwise.
 .
“Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, LATIN and GREEK.” John 19:19-20 But not in Hebrew…  according to some Bible Translators.. http://biblehub.com/john/19-20.htm
.
Jesus knew Hebrew because he was a Jewish Rabbi as supposedly verfied by this verse is a false argument too.. as Jesus did not acknowledge here that he was a Jewish Rabbi.. Fools try to base major doctrines on one verse.. “Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, ‘What do you want?’ They said, ‘Rabbi’ (which means Teacher), ‘where are you staying?'” John 1:38
.
Phrases such as the following which are preserved in the Gospels in their original form are all Hebrew phrases: is also not true.. as they are Aramic.. (a) “Hossana” – Matthew 21:9 (b) “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani” – Matthew 27:46 (c) “Rabbi” – John 3:2 (d) “Talitha cumi” – Mark 5:41
.
Now to me it only makes sense that the New Testament was written in Greek. Think of who Paul was: the “Apostle to the Gentiles”. Obviously he was writing to Greek speaking people, so he would write to them in Greek. There are more reasons, but this is an obvious one. I have run into a new reason why some people dispute the notion that Jesus spoke Aramaic. It has to do with the passion among some Muslims for an Aramaic-speaking Jesus. Aramaic is a Semitic language, related to Hebrew, Arabic, and similar languages. Only during the time of the Assyrian Empire (8th century BC), Aramaic became used throughout the Ancient Near East as the language of diplomacy not at the time of Jesus here on earth During and before the time of Jesus, there wasn’t just one version of Aramaic being used in Judea and beyond. Even many grave inscriptions around Jerusalem at the time of Jesus are not in Aramaic, not in Hebrew but in Greek.. Muslims falsely use the idea that Jesus spoke Aramaic as a support for the truth of Islam.
.
Jews falsely use the idea that Jesus spoke Hebrew as a support for the truth of Judaism A few scholars believe that people in Nazareth spoke Hebrew as their primary language. This is possible, but unlikely. Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.) So what evidence do we have that Jesus spoke Hebrew? We do not have in the New Testament Gospels a quotation of Jesus in Hebrew As one who believes about Jesus all the things orthodox Christians do, it would not impact my faith one jot or tittle if Jesus spoke Hebrew rather than Aramaic, or Greek rather than Hebrew.but the truth is Jesus spoke Greek still..Now, you don’t have to spend the next several years learning ancient languages because English KJV translation of the biblical text is very much reliable it was based on the Tyndale translation of the Greek too..The question of Jesus’ primary language is settled if we knew what people in Nazareth in the first decades of the first century A.D. were speaking and the Romans made it clear.. Greek or Latin only.. and we have no evidence for the common use of Hebrew in Nazareth and the surrounding region of Galilee.it is worth nothing that Greek was commonly used in certain strata of Galilean society. This began when Alexander the Great conquered the region in 332 B.C. Under his rule, and under the rule of those who followed him (the Ptolemies and the Seleucids), Greek was the language of government and commerce. The Romans used Latin for official communication, but Greek was the common language of the Empire. In fact, Nazareth was a short walk from Sepphoris, one of the major cities of Galilee, where Greek would have been the everyday language of the marketplace. The earliest manuscripts of the New Testament Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John – are written in Greek.
.
Yes there is overwhelming evidence, both historical and linguistic that shows that the New testament texts were never originally written in Hebrew, as some Jews claim but they are known liars.. Show us this original Hebrew transcript of Matthew.. none exists..None.. all is in Greek.. and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek Not one.. The New Testament, however, was written in Greek. This seems strange, since you might think it would be either Hebrew or Aramaic. However, Greek was the language of scholarship during the years of the composition of the New Testament from 50 to 100 AD. The fact is that many Jews could not even read Hebrew anymore, and this disturbed the Jewish leaders a lot! So, around 300 BC a translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew into Greek was undertaken, and it was completed around 200 BC.
.
Gradually this Greek translation of the Old Testament, called the Septuagint, was widely accepted and was even used in many synagogues. It also became a wonderful missionary tool for the early Christians, for now the Greeks could read God’s Word in their own tongue. So again the New Testament authors wrote in Greek. They did not, however, use really high-class or classical Greek, but a very common and everyday type of Greek. For many years some scholars ridiculed the Greek of the New Testament because many of its words were strange to those who read the writings of the great Greek classical authors such as Plato and Aristotle. But later many records were uncovered of ordinary people, and amazingly there were the same common terms used in everyday speech! The ridicule dried up accordingly. The prominent first century Roman historian Josephus was a Jew himself who wrote in Greek.. it should be understood that there is a long history of “Hellenism” (Greek culture/influence) among the Jewish people, both in ancient Alexandria as well as in the Promised Land itself. Ossuaries dating from the Second Temple period indicate Greek artwork and Greek versions of Hebrew names In Biblical Archaeological Review , Pieter W. Van Der Horst writes, “One of the most surprising facts about funerary inscriptions [extant from ancient Palestine dating from 300 B.C. to 500 A.D] is that most of them are in Greek – approximately 70 percent; about 12 percent are in Latin; and only 18 percent are in Hebrew or Aramaic.” Furthermore, since the time of Alexander the Great (c. 330 B.C), many of the Jewish High Priests had become Hellenists ; which led to the rejection of the Temple by the Essene Community and eventually to the later Maccabean revolts.
.
Even the Dead Sea Scrolls include Greek texts among the Hebrew and Aramaic. ; So it’s clear that Hellenistic culture and Greek language were pervasive influences in Israel both before, during, and after the time when Jesus lived in ancient Israel and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek all of the ancient textual evidence for the New Testament is in Koine Greek, and scholars have not found a single manuscript in Aramaic or Hebrew that predates the Greek.
.
The New Testament is by far the best-attested (and best preserved) literature of antiquity, with manuscript evidence dating back to the first century. ; For example, the Magdalen Fragments are written in a style of Koine Greek that was current in the 1st Century A.D. during the very lives of the apostles. Indeed, ancient papyrus expert Carsten Thiede and other scholars regard certain fragments from the Gospel of Matthew to be an eyewitness account. We have some anecdotal evidence of a gospel that underlies the others gospel accounts, but it is clear — both from history and from the textual evidence we have – that the Holy Spirit chose to use Koine (i.e., “common”) Greek as the language to reach out to the world. This is true, incidentally, of the Torah and Nakh, which were also translated into Koine Greek (i.e., the Septuagint, or LXX). Many of the oldest Biblical fragments among the Dead Sea Scrolls correspond more closely with the LXX than with the (later) Masoretic text, and indeed we have evidence of Koine Greek manuscripts that were discovered in the Qumran caves themselves…
.
Now when Jesus went into the synagogue and was handed the scroll of Isaiah that that scroll was written in Greek?and the the New Testament Gospels do include non-Greek words in the text (spelled with Greek letters). And some of these words are Aramaic ?So, while Jesus’ use of them may reflect his Aramaic speech, we can’t even be 100% sure of this. And we do not have in the New Testament Gospels a quotation of Jesus in Hebrew ..
.
Unfortunately, many of those who make the case for a Hebrew-speaking Jesus seem to be motivated by something other than a desire to know which language(s) he actually spoke.) The so-called “biblical case” for the Hebrew speaking Jesus rests mainly on one verse in, not in the Gospels, but in Acts of the Apostles. You absurdily cannot make a major statement with one fact, one verse.. when you have a whole Greek New testament.. one cannot use this as proof that he always spoke Hebrew, or mainly spoke Hebrew, or even spoke Hebrew in any other circumstance. In no other place does the New Testament tell us that Jesus spoke Hebrew. The fact that the Gospels are written in Greek shows that most of the earliest Christians, including some who followed Jesus during his earthly ministry, knew Greek and used it often, perhaps as their first language.
Though Aramaic continued to be spoken by many, Greek grew in its popularity and influence. In the time of Jesus, well-educated Jews, mainly those of the upper classes, would have known and used Greek. So would those who were involved in trade or government Get wise and learn the truth. Jesus was not handed the dead sea scrolls.. he read from the Greek Scroll Bible. The presence and pervasiveness of Greek in Judea is demonstrated by a discovery in the Nahal Hever region of the Judean Desert near the Dead Sea. In a cave, a scroll was found that contains substantial portions of the minor prophets in Greek. The so-called Nahal Hever Minor Prophets Scroll, dated around the time of Jesus, shows the influence and popularity of Greek, even among highly religious Jew..
.
In Matthew 8:5-13, for example, Jesus entered into dialogue with a Roman centurion. The centurion almost certainly spoke in Greek. And, as Matthew tells the story, he and Jesus spoke directly, without a translator. The same could be said about Jesus’ conversation with Pontius Pilate prior to his crucifixion (Matthew 27:11-14; John 18:33-38). If Jesus knew enough Greek to converse with a Roman centurion and a Roman governor, where did he learn it? at Home and in school.. Jesus’ hometown was a short walk from Sepphoris, which was a major city and one in which Greek was spoken.
.
Christianity is a new Religion that is not an updated Judaism, or a revised Judaism.. Most Messianic Jews too now are also still going to hell.. and they are firstly not willing to give up all to follow Jesus . For some Jesus must have spoken Hebrew to some people, otherwise somehow his mission as the Messiah would have been deficient. Some were worried that if Jesus spoke Greek he did not care for the Jews basically.. No one even knows what the Jewish Culture was like at the time of Jesus since the Romans burned all the Jewish books and Library and none exist today thus.. People who are hung up on a Jewish scripture still need the Holy Spirit to explain it anyway and most people do not have him, Jews especially.. .Read my posts and learn.. and stop trying to justify your perversions of the reality.. There is no existing evidence of a Hebrew Gospel of Matthew.. never has been . Why are they falsely so argumentative and hung up on a Hebrew Jesus? when most of the Jews have rejected him anyway and are mostly going to hell..
.
Did you notice how many of these Bible scholarly type still rarely quote the Bible now too? Even too many so called Pastors,,
.
There are supposedly some good translations out there that you can help you to understand the Bible more?
.
Many people who pay close attention to the original texts, have still missed the Gospel meaning itself. As even the already trained, well educated Bible translators cannot seem to agree with each other. Why? Our modern English Bible translations are excellent.
.
Most of the major English translations available today are supposedly superb renderings of the original Greek and Hebrew and yet why is it still that only a few of the readers next do even get saved, get a proper relationship with Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit?.
.
We must constantly remind ourselves that we are not studying the original languages; we are studying the Word of God. is an absurd statement still too. The human mind cannot understand any of the Holy Scriptures anyway cause all truths come solely by divine revelations from the Holy Spirit.. if you do not have the Holy Spirit wisdom here you are really still dumb. The Bible also makes it clear that the Spirit is the author of the Bible and that He will help us to understand the His Word 2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.; John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
.
Now too often the word Yeshua being used in place of the name Jesus. The liars using the Hebraic word, Yeshua, even suggest that Jesus is not correct. They used these as though they were both equally correct to identify Messiah, the Savior from Nazareth. Yes it is apparent that many of the people who use Yeshua look down on, to say the least, the usage of Jesus. In contrast to what some so-called Messianic Jews are teaching, our English translation of the New Testament did NOT come from the Hebrew or the Latin! The New Testament was translated directly from the Greek and the Old Testament directly from the Hebrew and Aramaic. Hence, our English NT translation is not a twice-removed translation of the name or anything else.
.
The present-day Yeshua people are similar to Paul before he became a Christian, who stated that at that time I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth (Acts 26:9).
.
How so many of these Messianic people seemingly hate the name of Jesus is really still amazing. Not only is Jesus now called a false messiah, but it is supposed to be for antijewish tradition! So this whole Yeshua thing is getting further and further from the truth. No Scripture Identifies Yeshua as Messiah.Yeshua people are trying to build a case with no proof from the New Testament. Again, the New Testament was not written in Hebrew but rather in Greek and translated directly into English for our English speaking society to read. So Almighty God wanted the known Greek speaking inhabited world at that time of the first century to know the name of Messiah, which brings salvation, healing and power over demons, to be “Iesous” (or Jesus in English) and not “Yeshua.” If God wanted the Jewish writers of the New Testament to use Yeshua they would have but they didn’t. To say Yeshua means “salvation” is not a clear connection to the Savior from Nazareth. It doesn’t identify the one who shed his blood on the cross of Calvary, rose from the dead and is coming back again, as the NT identifies Jesus of Nazareth.
.
Jesus has the name that is above every name (Phil. 2:9). It, therefore, should be used unashamedly in our English speaking society in spite of all the lies and fabrications being spread around by Messianic Jews. It is also noteworthy to consider that Paul was a Hebrew of Hebrews (Phil. 3:5), yet wasn’t off on some strange fictional concept that Iesous (Greek for the English equivalent Jesus) was inferior or of pagan roots like some Hebrews of our day that claim to believe in the Messiah of Christianity. o Bible Verse Tells Us  Messiah’s Name Is Yeshua. Would you please give us a Bible verse from the Hebrew Scriptures that tells us Messiah’s name is Yeshua? None have ever done so or ever will since Yeshua is never found in the OT or NT in reference to Messiah. Messiah is never identified by name in the Hebrew Old Testament Scriptures. And of what does Jesus’ Jewish identity have to do with anything? This is never magnified in the New Testament. Jesus is the Savior of all who will repent and submissively trust in him. Rev. 7 states there will be people in God’s kingdom from every tribe, people, language and nation all redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Of what nationality Messiah was as He walked the earth is totally irrelevant. God wants all to know the following: A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God (Rom 2:28,29).
.
Hence, in this manner all Christians are this type of Jew because their hearts have been circumcised by God’s Spirit. This is what the greatest example of Christianity ever produced wrote, who also happened to be of Hebrew descent.    The eternal record reveals the following about the name of Jesus. Ponder these Scriptures carefully please:
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins (Mat 1:21).
.
Do not stop him, Jesus said. No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me (Mark 9:39).
.
You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus (Luke 1:31).
.
On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived (Luke 2:21).
.
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31).
.
Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk” (Acts 3:6).
.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see (Acts 3:16).
.
Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed (Acts 4:10).
.
Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:18).
.
Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus (Acts 4:30).
.
His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go (Acts 5:40).
.
But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women (Acts 8:12).
.
Because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 8:16).
.
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus (Acts 9:27).
.
So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days (Acts 10:48).
.
Men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:26).
.
She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her (Acts 16:18).
..
On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 19:5).
.
When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor (Acts 19:17).
.
Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 21:13).
.
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ – their Lord and ours: (1 Cor 1:2).
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought (1 Cor 1:10).
.
When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present (1 Cor 5:4).
.
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God (1 Cor 6:11).
.
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 5:20).
.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Phil 2:10).
.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him (Col 3:17).
.
We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Th 1:12).
.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us (2 Th 3:6).
.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess his name (Heb 13:15).
.And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us (1 John 3:23). http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/yeshua.htm

Florida Healing Outpouring with Todd Bentley: 30 Reasons for Healing (16-30)

27 06 2008

First, Roy Fields is back!  Others leading has been moving, but there is something about him that changes the atmosphere.  Roy, welcome back.  Second if you are in Lakeland Fl on the 4th of July there will be free food. From 4-7pm, next Friday there be a celebration with free food.  This will also lead into a water Baptism service.  I am just thrilled for both of these events.  The first shows a desire to reach out to  host community and give back to those who have given so much.  As important, the second is another example of how Fresh Fire and Ignited are taking care and shepherding those who are making profession of faith under their leadership.

Another fun fact, there is now a medical doctor who is reviewing all the medical reports about healing.  The desire for accountability and integrity is great in Lakeland.   One of the assistants said there is a four step process for those who take the stage professing healing
1 Pastor volunteers from around the world, screen and test, those who claim to have received healing
2 This is then relayed to those who bring the person on stage, to ensure what is shared is consistent
3 After they are on the platform, a survey is filled out with symptoms, sign of healing and contacts.
4 FOLLOW UP!  1-2 weeks a phone call is made to see how they are doing.

Just some random quotes form Todd Bentley… he really does use the name of Jesus.
(This is just a sample, to show who the glory goes to)

“We are encouraging people to see doctors after healings.  I believe in medicine”
“It is the power of Jesus.  We are powerless without the power of the Holy Ghost
“Can we give thanks to Jesus for this.”
“We want to give all we can, leally, to the media to give the glory to Jesus.”
“We give all the glory to Jesus”
“Can we give Jesus all the glory tonight?”
while praying for healing, “Two new ankles in Jesus mighty name”

30 Reasons for Healings #16-30 (all verses NIV)

16. He does what he pleases – God is sovereign and healing happens because God chooses too.
17. Charitable Giving- (whole chapters but verses) Acts 9: 36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor  and Acts10:2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.  Based on these verses miracles happens as a direct result of charitable giving.  It would seem that when we take care of the pour, God reaches and extra measure of the miracles.
18. The Gospel – Mark 16:19-20 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.    Healing is good news and,  according to Todd, the Gospel is the power of God as well as the message of salvation
19.  I am a friend of God’s – John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  God hears the prayers of His friends.  What do you do for your “true” friends?  The deeper the intimacy with God, the deeper the friendship. Is God your friend, because there seems to be many who understand Jehovah but do not understand Abba.  Abba, is the characteristic of a deep personal relationship.
20. The Glory of God –  John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”
21. The cures of the Law – Romans 8:2  because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Healings show that you free from the law of sin and death.
22. Desperation: Mark 5:27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak,  Sometime people need a touch so bad they push trough to get it.  “if only this small amount”  They are the ones who are desperate enough to reach out and get healed

23.  Connection locked up

24. Name of God – Exodus 15:26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

25. Communion – 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.  This would seem to be a reason why you are not, but if it bring sickness maybe it bring healing (my thought on it, time was short so the last were real quick)

26.  Gift of the Spirit- There was no verse give to justify this, but 1 Corinthians12:9-109to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

27. The name of Jesus – Triune God, Jesus is God see #24

28.   The nature of the Holy Spirit – God creates when the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit moves.  It was after Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. That God said, “Let there be light.”  IF the Spirit lives with us, then he is moving, we should expect creation (new body parts is creation).
29. I am Saved – James 5:15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.  Faith is a gift of the Spirit and only saved people have this.  So salvation, brings faith, faith brings healing.  And, yes because Jesus forgave my sins.
30. Kingdom of God- Mathew 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  There is no sickness in the Kingdom, God preformes creation in His kingdom, there are miricals in the Kingdom, let it be so here

These are the second half of the 30 reasons, each with scripture refrances.  People you may not like Todd Bentley, but please be careful arguing against the word of God.  For those around Todd, let him know I said “thanks for the teaching, it has meant a lot to me.”

On a personal note:  I blew out my knee today, while walking down some stairs.  It hurt to move or even put pressure on it.  Tonight, during the broadcast, I WAS HEALED.  Proof of this, I wrote this whole blog standing up.

the Lakeland critics   seem to be led by the devil..

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

TOO OFTEN FALSE BASH OF PENTACOSTALS HEALERS

Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
Mark 16:18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.
Mark 16:19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.
Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs {and} miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).

In contrast I read on the net what the bullies, bashers say about healings, miracles.

It should be clear to most of us, the bad guys do not like my  pages still.. it shows them in their true light..  the bad guys, bullies, bashers or what ever?

THE WAY MANY FUNDAMENTAL EVANGELICAL AND SUPPOSEDLY PROFESSING CHRISTIAN CRITICS  TRY TO MAKE FUN AT OTHER CHRISTIANS IS SICKENING, A VERY POOR THEOLOGY AND IS SADLY NOW ALSO TYPICAL OF THE MUCH TOO OFTEN FALSE BASHING OF THE PENTECOSTALS  TOO! It clearly makes me think that Satan himself is behind most of it still too.

And what about the Phoney wars and phoney peace by the professing Christians now too..
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/why-is-toronto-airport-christian-fellowship-angry-still/

As to bullies question to me.. ““are you ranting”… my how you still do like to bash, insult people.. you do not know them even well enough to falsely even try to judge them, your approach is quite immature and unspiritual too.. looking for a big fight cause someone had stepped on your sore toes.. http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2008/08/12/more-about-control-freaks/

I certainly hope you do not profess wrongfully to be a Christian to anyone, cause you do not act like it for sure… nor do I hope you abuse all the people like that who make a post here.. a sure way to next lose many people still too. Stay in God’s love and not rather in the flesh.. we may not agree, do have a right to differ, but we still do need to show love to the others. Need more input from me on the subject.. I have it detailed even on 5 internet sites.. ”

It is very clear that the much too many false Critics of the Pentecostals will try to grasp at any straws to falsely bash the Pentecostal and still try to justify their own immoral acts..

Any Christian being plagued with critics, opponents, unsubstantiated personal attacks too now, is really nothing new even to the past apostles, prophets , Jesus Christ himself who have face many similar bullies, groups etc., the devil is too ready an accuser of the Brethren, and tries to continually discredit any work of God even since the time of Jesus Christ himself now too even using inapplicable and distorted Biblical reasons and Bible verses now too.

I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings any of of the latter rain churches..

A MAJORITY OF THE CRITICS OF THE LATTER DAY REVIVALS, are too clearly their now too often diverting back wrongfully the topic discussions, and themslves making often personal insulting, unacceptable derogatory remarks and  even their evidently their  typical unChristlike bullying Reponses, self righteous, a superiority attitude, and what else? is not the right approach from anyone and it does continue to reflect poorly on ALL OF THEM STILL too…

THE WAY THEY THEMSELVES DO UNDENIABLY POINT FINGERS AT THEIR SELF DEFINED OPPONENTS, IN A JUDGMENTAL MANNER, UNLOVING, UNKIND, UNJUSTIFIABLE MANNER IS CLEARLY THE MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE NOW TOO. And very revealing what they are firstly like themselves
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/06/23/understanding-me-and-others-better/

“I have read in the last month every wordpress site, and many others sites openly bashing, abusing, slandering  the Florida revival, Todd, the latter day Pentecostals and  yet to date I personally have not read, seen one valid criticism, decent presentation at all.. what a great shocker.. It all seems more like little immature, jealous kids still fighting over which one of them will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and who will be last.. what a real  absurdity. I myself though have opposed Todd Bentley’s associated with some really bad pastors, trying to make money form selling items at the revival.. and his false application for divorce..

Hey Critics, Don’t get desperate but get real… like I have rightfully said I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings  of any of the latter rain churches..

I did not say Charismatic supposedly churches.. cause we know those often mean rather the Catholic Pentecostals..

as to what the Bible says is only how you here do  interpret it.. not the Holy Spirit.

I have been a Christian for 50 years and a Pentecostal pastor for the last 30 years, and I have attended the  latter day churches too and often..  and specifically what about you? not the supposed others..

The Latter Rain movement was rejected by the AOG Pentecostals in 1948 as heretical… and what they are speaking for God now.. dream on.. There are other pentecostal persons, denominations who support them, approve of them, me included. The  AOG has it’s own falsehoods, and problems it needs to look at.. (Mat 7:3 KJV)  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

The Full Gospel Business Men’s fellowship uses a similar latter rain approach for decades now too.
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/07/05/laying-of-hands-impartation-breathe-of-the-spirit-anointings-anointed/

Too  many persons  are bashing other Pentecostals  with clearly a hidden agenda, jealousy, and it is still the wrong thing to do so now too.. they are not even doing it in love or humility Cleary as required by the Bible now  too. ”

Even because Evangelical Fundamentalism, dispensationalists,  too often also replaces the worship of God , the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ   with the sole worship of the Bible, bypassing the works of the Holy Spirit it seems, though most Fundamentalists will deny that. Liberalism, too, replaces the worship of God, and of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ   with the worship of something else. In the case of Liberalism, however, the worship of God was replaced by the worship of mere human reason , and both groups are not that far apart, for they are are in error.

Fundamentalists worship every word and letter in the Bible. Actually, they worship their own private re-interpretation of scripture (compare 2 Peter 1:20). This is the same error that the Pharisees fell into. They ended up worshiping Torah more than God, and, even more than Torah, they worshiped their own interpretations (and the interpretations of the elders) of Torah. (They still do so today, only now they have codified those traditions into the Talmud.) Likewise, so do Fundamentalists worship their own interpretation of Scripture. In both cases, “they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” (Romans 1:25).

Fundamentalists  and Liberals too need to learn the truth of 2 Corinthians 3:6, “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” They need to seek God in SPIRIT and in Truth. Liberals need to learn the truth of John 4:23 (quoted above) and of John 6:63, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit  and they are life.” They need to seek God in Spirit and in TRUTH.   http://jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/12941.htm

hard to tell the difference

Reality! These days it is too hard to tell the difference between secular persons and even evangelical pastors, elders, deacons too for  they all  seem to do the same bad things too.. adultery, alcoholism, gossip, slander, divorce..

And when I see shallow arguments  of anyone still limiting today as to what God today can do, even through us, EVEN ABOUT HEALING,  it makes me rightfully also think how shallow their Christian faith now really is.. they are still babies in the Lord and need someone to teach them the whole truth, the whole , full gospel too, for my God can do anything, Jesus is the same , yesterday, today and forever.

ON TOP OF THAT I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW SO MANY OF THESE SAME PERSONS PERSONS ALSO FALSELY RISE TO DEFEND SMOKING, WINE, ALCOHOL AS WELL AND WORK FULLY TO  DENY IT IS SINFUL.. “
Spurgeon was once asked when he would quit smoking cigars. He replied, “When it becomes a problem.” He was then asked, “When will it become a problem?” To which he replied, “When I smoke two at a time.” AND look at all the false justifications for Spurgeon’s sin.. and do see also   alcoholism the unacceptable sin

When you talk about what the scriptures says you honestly should also point out that you mean it is how you now interpret what the scripture says.. cause too many of us read different things out of the same scriptures as we all do know firstly..

The people who also tell us to use only the Bible often still lie further to us.. they ask us also to use men’s commentaries, instead of the Holy spirit to next interpret the Bible.

(Eph 4:18 KJV)  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

I tend to look at both sides of the issues myself.. for that matter I have now been both non Christian, and Christian, both  Baptist  and Pentecostal, and both groups still do have major errors, weakness, inadequacies, and they now also have some  good points  too.. but still there is no such thing as a perfect denomination now as well

But one other thing often is clearly is evident to me visiting, reading the many so called Professing Christians sites mostly all telling us the supposed truth, postings often more with dishonest hidden agendas, poorly researched too, very biased now too.. It also seems to me they are also still  are trying to convince themselves  as to what is the truth is and no one else, they build up their own false straw arguments, and then do  reply to their  own arguments. It is generally too often now not an honest presentation, discussion of the topic they have presented. http://slaughteringthesheep.wordpress.com/2008/07/01/todd-bentley-gets-annointed-by-special-oil-from-africa/

>>Pastors are going there by the droves. I know one personally. He went to Toronto to bring some of “it” back and he’s done the same thing with Lakeland. I think he thinks this will be the answer to filling the seats in his church, “http://christiantheology.wordpress.com/2008/06/30/depart-from-me-i-never-knew-you/

Did he really tell you that or are you in truth distorting, lying, falsely judging him and many others cause you are a controling person ?
I see nothing wrong in going there and I am real Christian now too

The nonconformer replied “I never knew you, is not a criticism by Jesus that the healings, miracles done by the person(s) were false.. but a true statement that they really never knew Jesus fully or personally, it seems to apply to you now firstly too.  For no pastor, evangelist, healer IS PERFECT TO START OFF..

You are so sensitive to others being supposedly false, cause you clearly are false, now take the beam out of your own eye first..  Someone is wrong here and I don’t think it is that difficult (except perhaps for you) to determine who that is and that is you.. for you do twist Bible verses, slander, falsely quickly bash  others to suit your own views..

Clearly Judas was an Apostle, better look at the definition of an Apostle, an Apostle is not an unchristian person.. and he was next replaced in the book of acts by another Apostle. The fact that Jesus knew that Judas would betray him does not mean he was not anointed.. but first better look at the meaning of the word anointed now.. one who evidences the Holy spirit.. with signs and wonders Acts 10:38

If you do not let the Holy spirit lead you as to what a verse actually means you are part of the Blind leading the blind now, forget trying to say the scripture cannot be wrong, rather you are wrong.. “You throw the term free will around as if it does not need to be defined. ” and yet you clearly in desperation rebuttal quoted back a verse that has nothing to do with one’s free will.

“You have contradicted now three times the Word of Jesus,” and what a further false and wrong, judgmental act on your part too, you so easily condemn a person whom you do not know, never met, another real Christian,  a real Christian now over  50 years too, and I have been pastoring now for over 3 decades as a Pentecostal pastor too. So get a real life. Really do get Jesus.”

Why is it so many people try too limit the power of God, and they work so hard to try to tell us what God can and cannot do today.. for sure,  definitely it is not only cause they are spiritually immature, have a hidden agenda, are promoting themselves,  or they are unoriginal parrots who repeat what others have said , but it is often still mainly because Satan for sure is behind all this too.
http://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/07/04/discern-it/
Evangelical fundamental parrots often need to quote someone else cause they do not know the Holy spIrit well enough to let him lead them, even the truth about healing. I SPEAK FOR MYSELF. http://pbulow.tripod.com/healing.html
http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/05/25/64/
Is 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God besides Me. I will gird {and} arm you, though you have not known Me,

(Jer 32:27 KJV)  Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

I undeniably could not help but notice on even the web too how supposedly British religious clergies, scholars, Christians, falsely also do bash American Pentecostal revivals? It is not being done out of jealousy too?

http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2008/08/22/it-is-not-good-for-the-man-to-dwell-alone/

I have been on the net for over 2  decades, and I have thousands of readers regularly reading my posts.  Hey I too have often said that there are many professing bashers, bullies, liars now even on the Christian internet and they think they alone can make the rules, enforce the rules on others, and that is too bad for them too for  they need to grow up.. and to firstly get used to the right of free speech of others, other’s right to be heard and to male their own posts .. I only have about 30 internet sites written often for these bad hypocritical Christians now too  so hopefully they too will learn the truth about themselves.. too bad guys do not like me to use my right of free speech.. so what else is new.. they by their bullying, control freak approach clearly show to all what hypocritical Christians they rather are! They are not humble servants of Jesus for sure.

isn’t it great that we  all can have the same right to make a post now and the same right to have it read by others now too?

Jews and their own need of Salvation by Jesus Christ still too

(Acts 4:10 KJV)  Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.11  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

(Acts 17:31 KJV)  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Like the Jews at the time of Jesus Christ here on earth too most people do not understand, do not want to admit the truth as to what realy happens to anyone after  they do die here on earth.

The only truth for now and forever is that Jesus Christ is the sole way of salvation, there is no other way, name by which any man, Jew or gentile can be now or in the future saved by. No other way to escape Hell..

Now why does any person  still falsely think or teach that 144,000 horsemen will come back for the Chosen race (the Jews) before the 2nd coming of Christ? Firstly they fail wrongfully to admit that  Jews are no longer the chosen race, they the jews in God’s will, kingdom, reign have all now been replaced by the Christians, the Christians now are the chosen ones.

(Heb 9:27 KJV)  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

The Bible says it is appointed for all men once to die and after that an immiedate, final judgement, they all next only go to heaven or hell immediately upon death based on what they, anyone  did with Jesus Christ here on earth, accepted or rejected him,  and  there is no other path for one’s personal salvation, there no purgatory as well for any Jew or non Jew too.  And now there is nothing Biblical in what anyone can  as about the Jews positive  future. Jesus is the only way of salvation for all. And these false Jewish oriented hopers, dreamers, teachers have still a  a complete false  assumption that the Bible next says that God will save all of the Jews or restablish the Jewish nation for this will never  occur. Theirs is even the the same error that Apostle Judas had made That is why so many Jews next here on earth will be deceived by the antichrist, he will tell them the lies they want to hear.

Any persons   falsely   expecting a resurrected nation of Israel, a continuation of the Jewish religion, a totally Jewish controlled, dominated world next will be disspaointed for  in reality any and all of the Jews  positive  present, future are now  all actually dead as far as the Bible, and  God are now concerned, and now and forever too. They the Jews  will never be resurrected again to be a nation, a group or what ever under God’s will.

It is tragic, sad that too many people still cannot accept that truth, undeniable fact, that the Jews already had their chance to become Christians, they all had mostly rejected it,  and so next it is the end of them as being anything of value, purpose  in God’s sight, end..
(Rom 10:1 KJV) Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
(Rom 1:20 KJV)  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21   Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (Rom 8:5 KJV)  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(Rom 8:14 KJV)  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(Rom 9:7 KJV)  Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called 8    That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
(Rom 9:32 KJV)  Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
(Rom 16:18 KJV)  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

But  some people do still still try to grasp at non existent straws to  bring back and save all or most of the Jews even at a later date.. These sad people their hope, views, beliefs are just as wrong, a false expectation  as anyone expecting another chance for anyone, someone to get saved in Heaven next for a persons who has already died unsaved.

Look it at it’s simplicity, once there were the Jews as God’s chosen, now, next there are only the Christians, they are the chosen ones,  and not the Jews In the future some more Jewish person will be saved and become Christians, but only a small remnant.. And then it is the end of the world. Jesus comes for all people, Christians included and not Christians and they will get what they had personally sowed and  immediately. Heaven to be with Jesus, hell to be away from Jesus….

(1 Pet 4:17 KJV)  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

(Heb 9:28 KJV) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Both Jews and Christians now by faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 3:25 KJV)  Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

(Rom 4:3 KJV)  For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

(Rom 4:9 KJV)  Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

(Rom 4:12 KJV)  And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

(Rom 4:13 KJV)  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

(Rom 4:16 KJV)  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

(Gal 3:7 KJV)  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

(Gal 3:8 KJV)  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

(Gal 3:9 KJV)  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

(Gal 3:14 KJV)  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

(Gal 3:16 KJV)  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Both Jews and Arabs, are physically from the seed of Abraham  so does that make all of Arabs now a Jew also?  No for to be a true Jew means to follow a religion, that your great great great grand mother and father both  followed.. Being born a Jew and not following the Jewish relgion did not make you truly a Jew..

But  next we do know that perverts, Bible  ignorant persons, liars want to play  on these words and say we are all children of God, or we are all Jews, or whatever.. but  in reality we all even Jews, are or were children of the devil, of the seed of th devil because Adam and Eve our great great great grand mother and father both had sinned..but Christians became next solleyof the seed of Jesus Christ.. yet becuase Jesus was born a Jew that did not make us all of Christians next  Jews now too.. for it does not matter who your father was, without Jesus Christ you will be in hell still .

As the Bible says Abraham foresaw Jesus Christ and he believed in Him.. if you do not beleive in Jesus Christ and no matter who you are, even a Jew, you will go to Hell..  there are on earth only Christians and non Christains, and only Christians  in Heaven. All Non Christians go to hell.

(Mat 1:1 KJV)  The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

(Mat 1:17 KJV)  So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

(Mat 3:9 KJV)  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

(Mat 8:11 KJV)  And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

(Luke 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

(Luke 13:16 KJV)  And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

(Luke 13:28 KJV)  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

(Luke 16:23 KJV)  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24   And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.25   But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

(Luke 19:9 KJV)  And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

(John 8:53 KJV)  Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

(John 8:56 KJV)  Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

(John 8:58 KJV)  Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

as for the Jews

(Acts 3:13 KJV)  The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.  so they the Jews chose to go to hell

now as to the seeds.. plural or is the seed singular.. ..

(Rom 4:16 KJV) Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, the father of faith Abraham had one seed..

And not 2 seeds spirtually.. but yes he had 2 seeds physically.. Jews and Arabs if you beleive in Jesus Christ then Abraham is your examplary spiritual  father of faith..  still Abraham is the son of Godm  Jesus Christ like all Christians are too..

All Israel Shall Be Saved?

by Steve Wohlberg

Romans 11:26 says, “And so all Israel will be saved.” What does this mean?

Obviously, it doesn’t mean every Jew will be saved. In fact, the same chapter says God hopes to “save some of them” (vs. 14). Judas was a Jew, yet we know he will be lost for betraying Christ. Jesus called him, “the son of perdition” (John 17:12). Jesus told many Jews, “If you do not believe I am He [the Messiah], you will die in your sins” (John 8:24). Not every Jew believes in Jesus Christ, thus many will “die in their sins” and be lost.

Many Christians today interpret Romans 11:26 as applying to the end of the seven-year tribulation when Jesus appears in the clouds at His Second Coming. In other words, they don’t apply the verse to all Jews throughout history, but only to “all Jews” who are alive at the end. Supposedly, at the end of the tribulation, all remaining Jews in Israel will look up, see Christ coming in the clouds, realize He is the true Messiah, believe in Him, and thus “All Israel will be saved.”

This is a false teaching, as I will attempt to show.

  1. First, the context of Romans 11 is not the Second Coming.
  2. “There is no partiality with God” (Romans 2:5-11). It would be an act of partiality to save “all Jews” at the end, but not “all Jews” in history. The idea is, “When all final Jews see Christ coming in the clouds, then they will believe.” But this would give those final Jews a supposedly irresistible opportunity to believe in Jesus Christ which past Jews have not had. Nor would this be fair to “all Gentiles” living at the end. Why would God save all Jews at the end but not all Gentiles? All Gentiles will see Jesus coming just like all Jews.
  3. When Christ finally appears in the clouds, IT’S TOO LATE TO BELIEVE IN HIM. Rev. 22:11,12 says that before He comes in the clouds, all decisions have already been made. Jesus said it will be like Noah’s day (Mat. 24:37-39). In Noah’s day the door of the ark closed before the flood came (Gen. 7:16). When the flood came, it was too late. To save all Jews AT THE SECOND COMING would be like saving all those outside the ark WHEN THE RAIN STARTED FALLING.
  4. When Jesus comes in the clouds, this is the time of judgment upon ALL unbelievers who don’t know God nor obey the gospel (2 Thess. 1:7-10; Jude 14,15).

So what does this mean, “All Israel shall be saved”? First of all, Romans 9:6 says there are two Israels. one is an Israel according to the flesh (Romans 9:3,4) and the other is the Israel of God (Galatians 6:14-16). The Israel of God is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:29). Gentiles who believe are grafted in. They become part of the “same body” with believing Jews (Eph. 3:6). Paul calls this unity of believing Jews and Gentiles, “the mystery of Christ” (Eph. 3:4).

The immediate context of Romans 11:26 is vs. 25. When “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,” then “all Israel will be saved.” Or, to be exact, “And so all Israel will be saved.” In other words, the coming in of the fullness or total number of the Gentiles results in “all Israel” being saved. Paul’s idea seems to be that when all Gentiles (totally, throughout history) have come in, that is, have been grafted into the Vine, they, uniting with all Jews who have become believers, will form the total number of the saved. Paul also reveals that when Gentiles come in, God can use this to motivate some Jews to believe (verses 11 & 14). Vs. 25 calls this whole thing, “this mystery,” which we have already proven to be the “mystery” of both Jews and Gentiles being united in one body through Christ (Eph. 3:4,6). Vs. 27 says all are saved because Christ takes away their sins through His covenant, which must be the New Covenant, which applies to all believers, Jew and Gentile. Thus the “all Israel” that is saved is the total group of believing Gentiles and Jews combined.

The “all Israel that is saved” does not apply to all Jews throughout history, nor can it apply to a select favored group who become instant believers when Jesus Christ comes crashing down through the sky. By that time, it is too late to believe.

Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well.. I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. Clearly some bad people falsely still DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the realy bad persons especially as even I know this for sure as they falsely refuse the whole to be shared even as as to who they are firstly. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, liars, immoral, abusive bullies.

Laying of hands, Impartation, Breathe of the Spirit, Anointings, Anointed

When God asks me to lay my anointed hands, anointed by the Holy Spirit ,  on someone it is to pray for them to be healed, as well as for them also to receive additional holy spirit’s help. spiritual gifts too.. whether someone’s hand get’ hot in the process is immaterial now too.. it is a all a work of faith in Obedience to God’s will, instructions still too.

There is a definite personal, unacceptable DISPENSATIONAL trend  amongst many fundamental Evangelicals, and some Pentecostals to falsely try to discredit the present involvement of GOD HIMSELF INTO HUMAN AFFAIRS, HUMAN ACTIVITIES. This false attempt to limit God’s present earthly activities is not only demonically inspired, but it is a false attempt to cover-up the existing personal inadequacies of many of the so called professing Christians who clearly to date are really only not still not fully Holy Spirit filled, anointed, even as a direct result of the fact they are living a self centered life, have not died to Jesus Christ, are not anointed, are basically not servants of God, are not serving God, but they really have not made Jesus Lord of their whole life too. One can see evidence of such persons by the actual definition of the term Christian  itself, One group tries to define all Christians as merely  anyone who is a follower of Christ, whereas the other groups defines a Christian as one in whom one can see the fruits, works, the evidence of the anointing of Christ based on acts 10:38  (Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

(Gal 1:8 KJV)  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Come, Lord Jesus, and fill these people full of the Holy Spirit.

In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul lists out these gifts.  Any Spirit-filled Christian can eventually manifest or release any of these gifts as the Holy Spirit directs him.

Word of Wisdom – God’s supernatural perspective on how to achieve His will. God’s knowledge rightly applied to specific situations. Word of Knowledge – “Facts” given by God that are unknowable without revelation.
The Gift of Faith – The supernatural ability to believe God without doubt. Essential to the Gift of Healing and Miracles.
The Gift of Healing – Supernatural healing through special anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The Working of Miracles – A supernatural display of power that goes beyond the natural to counteract earthly and evil forces.
Discerning of Spirits – Spiritual insight into differences between the Holy Spirit, the the spirit of Man, and evil spirits at work in the earth.  It is not the discerning of character faults.
The Gift of Prophecy – The forth-telling of God’s utterance.  It is not of the intellect but of the Spirit.  It is divinely inspired and anointed words spoken by a believer.
Kinds of Tongues – This is not to be confused with the use of tongues in private prayer or worship.  This refers to the ministry of tongues to others.  An utterance from a believer to another in a language unknown to the speaker. (Isaiah 28:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4; 10:44-48; 19:1-7; 1 Corinthians 12:10; 13:1-3; 14:2,4-22,26-31; 28:31)
Interpretation of Tongues – Supernatural power to reveal the meaning of tongues.  Not a translation, but an interpretation.  Tongues and Interpretation working together can be the equivalent of prophecy.
The working of these nine Gifts is for the profit and advantage of the Church.  They are for the benefit of the Church and are specifically available to every believer as the Holy Spirit wills. (1Corinthians 12:7-11; 14:12).  They should all be actively welcomed and expected in your life. (1Corinthians 14:1)
HOW MANY Spiritual, GIFTS from God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit DO WE GET? Does it depend on how we will next  use them too?
The Holy Spirit distributes His gifts to each believer severally as He wills. (1 Corinthians 12:11)  It is not up to us how many gifts we want or are willing to use but up to the Holy Spirit to give whatever He wants to whoever He wants whenever He wants.  It is up to us to appreciate all of them and to allow the Holy Spirit to use us in any of them to minister to others.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is God’s way of empowering us to manifest His love to His Church and to cleanse us and make us holy.  We need therefore to acknowledge that love is necessary for the proper use of the Gifts – faith works by love.(Galations 5:6)  Love edifies others (1Corinthians 8:1) as God has shown His love for you by giving you faith to believe in and trust in and cling to and rely on Jesus.  Repent of anything that would hold you back from experiencing and walking in His fullness through the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.  Ask Him for it.  Receive it.  Freely it has been given to you – now freely give. (Matthew 10:8)

And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.  Acts 5:32
(1 John 1:3 KJV)  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

My serious interest on the subject of the Holy Spirit started at an early age, around the time I was 25, even cause I had asked my evangelical Baptist Church pastor if there was such thing today as empowering from God to live the Christian life.. when he replied no, and  because sadly I knew he basically was not to be trusted I decided that  I should look more seriously into the topic,  so I stared to read many   Books, and the Bible on the subject of the Holy Sprit next. When I next read the testimonies of others, it was clearly evident, undeniable  that some Christians  had experienced dramatic changes in heir personal life as a result of knowing Christ, and being filled with the holy spirit, even more dramatically than others too. Why the difference. And as I continued my study it became very evident that not everyone who professed to be a Christian, pastors, elders included were even firstly Christians. Imagine that church pastors were falsely still even reading clearly secular books to know more about God. It also became clear that many professing Christians were not serving God, but doing their own thing, serving themselves, or were trying to please others, mere men and women, or their denominations too. We have more perversion than power, more compromise than conviction and more playboys in the pulpit than prophets.  Because of their own sinful nature, human limitations next  falsely Men still try to limit God today as to what he God can and cannot do today with His Holy Spirit now as well by next their own false obstructions, confusions, distortions, over simplifications,  lies too. Me too there was a time in my life when I thought I was now saved and I had it all, but that was certainly not true. But man still cannot prevail against God, the light, the truth ever.  There is power available to you also to personally to overcome: disease, despair, defeat, sickness, sin and Satan! You can now have power over every attack of the devil! And I ask right now, Come, Lord Jesus, and fill these people full of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 10:27: And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; .Acts 10:28 ..Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon …

(Luke 2:26 KJV)  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

(2 Pet 1:21 KJV)  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

(2 Pet 3:2 KJV)  That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

(2 Tim 1:14 KJV)  That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

(Isa 4:4 KJV)  When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

(Micah 3:8 KJV)  But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

(Mat 12:28 KJV)  But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

(Luke 4:1 KJV)  And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

(Rom 8:14 KJV)  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

(1 Cor 6:11 KJV)  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

(1 Cor 12:8 KJV)  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

(2 Cor 3:18 KJV)  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

(1 Pet 3:18 KJV)  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

(1 Matt 3:24 KJV)  And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

(1 John 3:21 KJV)   I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 2  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

(Rev 3:15 KJV)  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

In fact it became evident not just in the Catholic, Orthodox Churches but even in Christian Plymouth Brethren, Baptist, Alliance and Pentecostal churches now too that in some professing persons, pastors, elders, deacons too,  there still was no difference in behavior between the professing Christian person and the typical unbeliever, unchristian persons. Many so called Christians it became clear also to me they did not have a definite experiences where they had made Jesus Christ the sole Lord of their life, as next even a Christian Missionary Alliance church pastor had admitted to me. Now if many pastors were not preaching, living the empowered Christian Life how could the rest of the flock be aware of it as well? So I next talked to many many more pastors, and discovered many of them did not use or know the Bible in evangelical churches, but firstly they did not have a definite experience where they knew that God had even called them into the ministry. They became pastors by their own choice and were rather too often mere “hirelings”, in the Job merely as as any other person is in a secular career. It next also amazed me how many writers, preachers claimed to be experts on the Baptism of the Holy spirit, the anointing,  when they had even admitted that they had never experienced it themselves.. ridiculous, and so how can you be an expert on something you have never experienced too? Many people it seems still can be easily deceived by the devil that they are following and doing God’s will when they clearly now are not. There is much too much filthy manna, begging and stealing money now associated with Christians and why? They Cleary are no living the real anointed life but doing their on selfish thing still too. Many professing Christians , pastors recognize their lack of holy sprit in their life, but instead of honestly confronting the reason why they next lie and say that the miracles ended when the last disciple died. When the Bible was finished being written. It was a temporary empowering.  When Jesus was on the Cross He cried out, “It is finished!”

(Heb 13:8 KJV)  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  is alive today.. and he can be alive today in you and me too.  And John 4:4 states, “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Well I got good news for you but power of the cross, the anointing, it was not over rather the posited it was just the beginning  Jesus vetoed sin and the crucifixion with His  resurrection by the Holy sprit, and then Jesus next  gave a tag team hand off to the Holy Ghost to all others. The same anointing of Holy Ghost power that gave Jesus the power to overcome Satan’s power, temptation!! The Holy Ghost power and anointing can be yours, today!! This is the source of power to overcome Satan everyday of your life if you continue to follow after God, to obey and do his will daily. If you rebel from God do not expect this anointing to be of help to you. You need to willfully continue to walk humbly in the light, in Jesus himself still too. And if you let God do it, he will empower, equip you to do his will, equip you uniquely for service to him like he has done to many others. When Jesus was being tried in Pilate’s court, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times. He didn’t have enough courage to even say that he knew Jesus. let alone be His witness, but after the Holy Ghost fell on the 120 at Pentecost. What a difference!! The first sermon Peter preached, 3000 were converted. You can have this kind of power now in your life. Yes it’s free for the asking humbly to all who already do believe and are baptized in Jesus as both their Savior and Lord. You are free to live the empowered life if you daily choose to do so, or you can next even daily choose to walk merely in your own sinful thing, in the flesh.

Perhaps you still do feel you are not worthy to receive this power. Possibly some  have told you that this power is not for today. Or  you feel overcome by the pressures of life and don’t know how to ask for the power of the Holy Ghost to take over your life.  Right now that all you need to do is simply to humbly ask God even again. The Bible says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). It is His desire that you receive everything He has for you! Tthe Bible declares it to be so!  ” And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the hand-maids in those days will I pour out my spirit” (Joel 2:28-29). It’s still for as many who call upon the name of the Lord!

(Mat 7:7 KJV)  Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

(Luke 11:10 KJV)  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.11  If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?12  Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

(Gal 5:22 KJV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(Gal 5:25 KJV)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Pass it on. The Lord wants to infuse you with an anointing, by the Holy Spirit, which will propel you through every line of Satan’s defense. This is how you can overcome every situation as you receive “power from on high!” Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself was full of this power as He withstood the onslaught of the devil while fasting in the wilderness. The Bible records that John the Baptist baptized Jesus, the Lord of Glory, in the river Jordan prior to Him praying and fasting 40 days and 40 nights. At the end of this fast Satan came to Him and tempted Him in His spirit, soul and body to sin against God. But Jesus resisted Satan’s offense with the statement, “It is written!” After this, Luke 4: 14 states, And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. If Jesus, walking as a man, needed the power of the Holy Spirit to stand against the assault of the devil, I ask you, “How much more do we need the power of the Holy Spirit?”  There’s a Holy Spirit revival coming, and it’s can also be coming even through your words, through your hands and through your life!

Would you like to have God’s Holy Ghost Power in your life? If so please pray this prayer  humbly. “Dear Heavenly Father. As per your promises in your word, the Bible do next  baptize me with your Holy sprit, power. I accept the promise of Acts 2: 38 & 39 and the anointing power of the Holy Ghost. I ask to have the power that Apostles had received even in my life. I also do want the power to overcome Satan everyday, in all areas of life! Jesus you are my lord so by your Holy Spirit, please fill me now and take  full control of my life, my body  and even my tongue. Let my tongue now also give praises to God the Father and His Holy Son, Jesus in a Heavenly language. I put myself, my all under your full control. Amen!”

John 10:37-38 “ If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.  “

(2 John 1:5 KJV)  And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

(Luke 4:18 KJV)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

The anointing that the devil and his false followers do hate and oppose, lie about is this..

The baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy spirit, the Anointing , Tongues, Prophets,  Apostles, Miracle workers, tithing now too, the promised land, the prosperity gospel have become unarguably the most overused, overworked, misunderstood, misinterpreted, contentious  terms in the news media, in the non Pentecostal and in the Non Charismatic arenas,  in the fundamental religious circles all even because many of these people are mostly still serving self, doing their own thing, looking up to mere man and not God. Most people have never even firstly had studied, read what the Bible actually says firstly, not even many preachers.

Beyond the show of a doubt the devil himself  firstly really hates any references to the Holy Spirit, the anointed ones, the idea that Christians do have now empowering to overcome the devil too… and so now the devil uses any of his followers, those in the fundamental religious circles too now, to now  lie, twist, distort the truths.  and they falsely try to say something typical like this “If you check every single Biblical reference to the Anointing you should notice that ” There is not ONE SINGLE reference to the anointing being a supernatural power given to human by which they are able to perform miracles… There is not ONE SINGLE reference to anyone being able to transmit the anointing by any means, including the laying on of hands… There is not ONE SINGLE reference to getting, keeping, increasing, or losing the anointing.”

Mind you they these same  liars do have to Tear out the whole Old Testament for a start..  the prophets were clearly anointed, and performed miracles,  and the same Jesus yesterday, today and forever who lives in us today too, who was anointed and performed miracles  he had also said that believers will do even greater things now too.  In  the reality now after all Samson next lost his anointing.. and so did King Saul lose his anointing .. and David asked God not to take away his anointing too after he had sinned with Bathsheba..

It’s the frequent and methodical strategy of those people not Holy sprit filled, those people walking in the flesh that they do bash, recite against anyone who has evidenced the Holy Spirit anointing  still too, we all can see  these false professors  own false, unscriptural doctrine and practice. It’s now a charge of  their “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” and their disobedience of  “touch not the Lord’s anointed.”
The anointing is sacred, the anointing is the Holy Spirit, and all believers in Christ have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We must be careful what we say about our brothers and sisters in Christ.
(Matthew 12:31 NKJV) “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
(1 Chronicles 16:22-24 NKJV) Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” {23} Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. {24} Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

While the Antichrist and False Prophet themselves will possess the credential that they do reputedly perform miracles. While the devil does try to  counterfeit the miracles of God, those now done by Moses too, the existence of the devil and his bad works, the counterfeits now still does not nullify the present reality, existence  of God genuine gifts, miracles and real prophets, miracles workers, apostles  now too. REALITY.

The anointing that the devil and his false followers do hate and  oppose, lie about is this..

(Mark 16:17 KJV)  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

(Deu 18:19 KJV)  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

(Deu 18:20 KJV)  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

(Psa 89:24 KJV)  But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

(Jer 14:14 KJV)  Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

(Jer 14:15 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

(Jer 23:25 KJV)  I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

(Jer 27:15 KJV)  For I have not sent them, saith the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

(Jer 29:9 KJV)  For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.

(Jer 29:23 KJV)  Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.

(Mat 18:5 KJV)  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

(Mat 18:20 KJV)  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

(Mat 24:5 KJV)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

(Mark 9:37 KJV)  Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

(Mark 9:39 KJV)  But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

(Mark 9:41 KJV)  For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

(Luke 9:48 KJV)  And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

(Luke 21:8 KJV)  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

(John 14:13 KJV)  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

(John 14:14 KJV)  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 15:16 KJV)  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

(John 16:23 KJV)  And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

(John 16:24 KJV)  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
(1 Cor 12:7 KJV)  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

(1 Cor 12:8 KJV)  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

(1 Cor 12:9 KJV)  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

(1 Cor 12:10 KJV)  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

(1 Cor 12:11 KJV)  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

To me it is so just unbelievable that any professing Christian persons  can even think of saying say that there is no special anointing  by the holy spirit and any Christian person today..

Yes the people who  are not anointed do not know what it is really like, but they are wrong to say there are no anointing by the Holy Spirit on others.

(Psa 91:11 KJV)  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

(Prov 3:6 KJV)  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

(Ezek 16:47 KJV)  Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

I admit that I have mostly stopped hearing for years now too or reading what the supposedly Christians pastors, authors say, write because I have made a real decision  a long time ago to only listen to God, to hear him only,  and only to write that which he speaks to me  to write, for I am not here on earth to get’s man’s useless approval, or any of his money too, for only God’s blessing, approval counts anyway.

Secondly it is very clear that God know everything that I do anyway, firstly. so I too do seek to do his will in everything I do, by praying beforehand Lord what will you have me to do next?

He or she that trust mainly in  their  own wisdom understandings, or mainly in the advice of others is still basically a real fool, an unwise person.

(Psa 4:5 KJV)  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

(Psa 31:6 KJV)  I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

(Psa 37:3 KJV)  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

(Psa 40:3 KJV)  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

(Psa 73:28 KJV)  But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

(Psa 115:10 KJV)  O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

(Psa 115:11 KJV)  Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

(Psa 118:8 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

(Psa 125:1 KJV)  They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

(Prov 3:5 KJV)  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

(Prov 28:25 KJV)  He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

(Prov 29:25 KJV)  The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

Sadly too many persons are guilty of the sin of presumption, doing that which seems right in their own eyes, without checking first with God if it is the right thing to do. They can’t check with God, basically cause they can’t hear him. and they can’t hear him cause they still do not really have a relationship with God, even cause they really do not spend time with him daily alone hearing him and talking to him..

(Psa 19:13 KJV)  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

(2 Pet 2:10 KJV)  But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

(Deu 1:43 KJV)  So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

(Deu 17:12 KJV)  And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

(Deu 17:13 KJV)  And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

(Deu 18:22 KJV)  When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

(Psa 4:8 KJV)  I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

The Anointing Breaks The Yoke

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing“  (Isaiah 10:27).     Just because one is a Christian counselor does not make his or her counseling effective.  Just because one knows the principles of the Word does not make his or her counseling effective.   Just because one is a dynamic or charismatic counselor does not make his or her ministry effective.  Education, knowledge, and experience are important, but none of these make one’s ministry effective in the kingdom.
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).   The word “might” means strength, wealth, or force.  The word for “power” refers to human ability.  The answer is the anointing!

The prophecy found in Isaiah 10:27 is a prophecy concerning the coming of Jesus and the anointing which is to rest upon him. Isaiah 11:2 gives us further insight.  “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD“  (Isaiah 11:2).  Here we see the seven facets of the Spirit of God:
1. The Spirit of the LORD.
2. The Spirit of wisdom.
3. The Spirit of understanding.
4. The Spirit of counsel.
5. The Spirit of might.
6. The Spirit of knowledge.
7. The Spirit of the fear of the LORD.
Isaiah later gives even more explanation concerning the prophecy.  “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;    To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;    To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified“  (Isaiah 61:1-3).     When we come to the New Testament, we see Jesus applying the Scripture to himself.  “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,    To preach the acceptable year of the Lord“  (Luke 4:18-19).  Luke in the book of Acts also explains, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him“  (Acts 10:38).
Again, it is the anointing that breaks the yoke!  Human wisdom can not heal emotional wounds.  Human knowledge can not set free those who are spiritually bound.  Traditions and church rituals can’t cast out a demonic spirit.  Human whit can not restore those who have emotional bruises (blows to his or her identity).  However, the anointing that was on Jesus can heal all those who have been oppressed of the devil. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).
We should understand that the ANOINTING did not cease when Jesus ascended into Heaven.  Joel prophesied concerning the anointing.  “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit” (Joel 2:28-29).  Please note the expression “all flesh” which means that is available to all Believers.
The door to the anointing is open to all Believers, male and female, both young and old. “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him“  (Acts 5:32).  Jesus told the Believers right before he ascended, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).   Sure enough, the anointing came on the day of Pentecost.   “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4).
Here are several other examples of the anointing.  “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:31).  This occurred some time after the outpouring on Pentecost. Paul wrote, “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God“  (II.  Corinthians 1:21).  Again see the anointing, “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people” (Acts 6:8).   Stephen was not an apostle, but rather a faithful deacon.
James wrote “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord“  (James 5:14).  Church elders should have the anointing.  However, it should not be limited to those is full-time ministry.
If you are a Believer, you need the anointing to minister!  Every Believer should ASK for the anointing.  “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13).  However, yesterday’s anointing is not sufficient for today, nor today’s anointing sufficient for tomorrow.  We should seek to be anointed daily, even twice daily.    “And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.   And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations” (Exodus 30:7-8).  The lamps were to be filled twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Remember, it is the anointing that breaks the yoke!  Now, some will declare that since they are already Believers that automatically gives them the anointing.  However, there is a big difference in the earnest of the Spirit and the fullness of the Spirit.  “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,   Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:12-14).  This speaks to the “earnest” of the Spirit that one receives at the time of the rebirth which is an earnest of his inheritance. “Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts” (II Corinthians 1:22).   “Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit” (II Corinthians 5:5).    However, now look at how Paul prays for these Believers who already have the earnest of the Spirit.  “Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: ” (Ephesians 1:15-21).  Paul is praying for these Christians to be anointed with the HOLY SPIRIT of wisdom and revelation.  This can be directly cross referenced to, “And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD” (Isaiah 11:2).  Since both passages refer to the HOLY SPIRIT the word “spirit” should be capitalized as I have indicated.

So what are the different facets of the Anointing?  There are many; however, one of the main purposes is to reveal our inheritance in Christ.  “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual” (I Corinthians 2:12-13).  “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.   He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.    He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you” (John 16:13-15).  It is absolutely amazing how the Holy Spirit shows the extent of our inheritance in Christ to those who will receive the anointing.     Another purpose is that the Holy Spirit may become our spiritual teacher and to bring to our memory also what He has taught us.  “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26).  I can be counseling or witnessing to someone and the Holy Spirit can bring to mind a Scripture or truth from Scripture to me which I have not thought of in years.
The Holy Spirit also will give greater insights about Jesus to those who receive the anointing.  “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26).

One primary purpose of the anointing of the Holy Spirit is that one may be a witness unto Christ. One is not just to be a his witness, witness about Jesus, or witness for him, but to witness UNTO him.  “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).   This means that when others see the person who is anointed with the Holy Spirit, they should be seeing Jesus.
The anointing will also bring conviction to the “world” through the Believer.    “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.    And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:    Of sin, because they believe not on me;    Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;    Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged“  (John 16:7-11).  The word “reprove” is demonstrated when the prosecuting attorney brings proof into the court that the crime has been committed by the defendant.  http://www.wholeperson-counseling.org/doctrine/anointing_breaks.html
I am sure that even non Pentecostals, non charismatic Christians will have  to agree with me when I say that the spiritual gift we all need to seek too  now is the gift of prophecy.. Prophecy is not merely foretelling always  future events,, it is mainly conveying God present words, confirming God’s  direction.

”Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His  servants the prophets.  A lion has roared! Who will not fear?  The Lord God  has spoken!  Who can but prophesy?”  Amos 3:7,8
(Rev 19:10 KJV)  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me,  See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have  the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the  spirit of prophecy.

All Prophecy always exalts the Lord Jesus Christ and not any man, person,  denomination..

(2 Pet 1:20 KJV)  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is  of any private interpretation. 21  For the prophecy came not in old time by  the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy  Ghost.

(2 Pet 2:1 KJV)  But there were false prophets also among the people, even  as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in  damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon  themselves swift destruction. 2  And many shall follow their pernicious  ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And  through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:  whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation  slumbereth not.

(Jer 2:8 KJV)  The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle  the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the  prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

Prophecy is expressing the deep inner feelings, voice of the Holy Spirit to  this generation.  Prophecy as stated in the New Testament  clearly here,  requires next no new redefinitions, it is the “edification” through the  interpretations of  the language of the Holy Spirit into English for example  for the benefit of others and ourselves too.

(1 Cor 14:13 KJV)  Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray  that he may interpret. (And no exceptions now too)
Sadly some people want to wrongfully exalt “speaking in tongues” over  prophecy.. too bad for them.. and they thus do try to misinterpret what  prophecy still is.. rather know and  read the Word first and not their views…
(Rom 12:6 KJV)  Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is  given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion  of faith;
(1 Cor 12:10 KJV)  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy;  to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to  another the interpretation of tongues:
(1 Cor 13:2 KJV)  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all  mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could  remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
2 Pet 1:19 – 21, 2:1 – 3, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy;  whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a  dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private  interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there  were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false  teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even  denying Jesus that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of  truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with  feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time  lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.”
Clearly one of the unique, great, valid emphasis of the Pentecostals from  the other denominations is also their emphasis on personally hearing God  speak. even personally and collectively speaking to us, verbally  individually or in a collective setting by prophecy.
(1 Cor 14:26 KJV)  How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every  one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 27  If any man  speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and  that by course; and let one interpret. 28  But if there be no interpreter,  let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to  God. 29  Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. 30 If  any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his  peace. 31  For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all  may be comforted. 32  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the  prophets. 33  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
(Rom 12:1 KJV)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,  that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,  which is your reasonable service.
(Rom 12:2 KJV)  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by  the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and  acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Psa 119:9 KJV)   Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking  heed thereto according to thy word.
(
(Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man  soweth, that shall he also reap.
(Gal 6:8 KJV)  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap  corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life  everlasting.
(Gal 6:9 KJV)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we  shall reap, if we faint not.
(Gal 6:10 KJV)  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all  men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
The question about the existence today of  the gift of Prophecy and other  Holy Spirit gifts are very common.. yet still the answers differ so much.  And why?
(2 Tim 2:15 KJV)  Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that  needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun  profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17  And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
It also still amazes me how some people are so ready to claim they are  right, even experts, on a subject they have never experienced even, such as  the people who do not at all claim now to be a prophet, and/or do not claim  they speak in tongues, and/or do not claim they prophecy and yet they next  still will try to claim now even to write authoritatively on any of it…..  sure, sure! They firstly all mostly have already lost my respect, and their  credibility.
(Eph 5:11 KJV)  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of  darkness, but rather reprove them.12   For it is a shame even to speak of  those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are  reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest  is light.
(1 Pet 4:17 KJV)  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house  of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey  not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where  shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(Luke 19:46 KJV)  Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of  prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
(Mal 3:8 KJV)  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say,  Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9  Ye are cursed with  a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.10   Bring ye all the  tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove  me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows  of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough  to receive it.

Malachi was specifically firstly written to the Levites, the priests, the  pastors, and they are they ones accused of the wrong doings firstly here too not dealing with the tithe properly. Jesus began his ministry in the sole  Temple too with a whip..
Next firstly also note this recent relgious US southern Baptist editorial  about the…  “Five things that can cripple a church By J. Gerald Harris,  Editor Published March 16, 2006// First, there is the problem of a scandalous leadership. ( past Liberals  included). Second, there is the problem of a discordant member ( Constituent  members) I am speaking of the person who is born in the objective mood and negative case – the person who is never happy with what happens in the  church and actually creates dissention.  In Proverbs 6:16-19 the Bible actually tells us that there are some things that God hates or considers an  abomination and one thing God despises is the person who sows seeds of  discord among the brethren.  . Third, there is the problem of apathy. ( too many Canadian ostriches not  dealing with  the wrongs of others)  Vance Havner said, “We have anarchy in  the world, apostasy in the professing church and apathy in the true church.”  An indifferent, indolent, lukewarm church nauseates God and renders the  church helpless and ineffective. . Too many churches have too many people  who just don’t want to get involved. Such apathy cripples the cause of   Christ and paralyzes the effort to build healthy kingdom churches. Fourth,  there is the problem of inflexibility. ( Stubbornness and Laziness are often  the main factor behind this too) Some churches do not grow because the  members are so unwilling to change, so unyielding, so set in their ways. Fifth, there is the problem of purposelessness. ( One’s wrong goals lead to  a larger personal void..) One church put a sign on their church door in 1963 that stated, “Gone out of business. Didn’t know what our business was.”” It  might have been unintentional but quite revealing anyway that this above  editorial wrongfully too  did not include anything about tithing, money,  helping the poor and needy persons., the negelct of which something that  really cripples a church too, and note this  seems to applies to most of the  churches, Baptist, Pentecostal etc.,
1: Besides the fact of a clear lack of love  for others and God, the main factor  that firstly clearly cripple any church or a Christian are lack of personal  daily prayer by the pastors, deacons, elders, lay persons. All Pastors  should at least pray and read their bibles one hour a day.. and most  Christians still do not read or pray 5 minutes of day. 2: I know for a fact also that  Robbing God of his tithes, misappropriating  them and denying the poor their portion of the tithes devastates any  Christian or  church as well.
There is also no question that most Christian churches even today , the  leaders and the people do people abuse the tithes, ( giving to God 10%  percent of one’s total income) the evangelical churches and pastors  included, and they do also steal from the tithes by not giving the local  poor people in their local church their applicable portion of the tithe. All  churches should be doing this good work of giving to the poor people too if  they actually practiced honestly the laws of tithing set forth in the Bible.
(Luke 16:9 KJV)  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the  mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into  everlasting habitations. 10   He that is faithful in that which is least is  faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in  much. 11  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,  who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12   And if ye have not been  faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is  your own? 13   No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the  one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the  other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Furthermore the Old Testament Levites, and the poor persons who could enjoy  the benefits of the tithes they did not own  or could not own any land, or a  house.  The Lord God  stated that the Levites would have no inheritance of  land but would be given a portion of the tithe instead. Such an injunction would also apply today to anyone claiming a right to a tithe too.
Numbers 18:20 (NIV) 20 The LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance  in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and  your inheritance among the Israelites..

By the way the last 20 years of ministry I have never taken an offering,  asked for a donation or asked for any money too for myself. I trust God to supply what I need and how he wants to do it as well.  Do see  http://pbulow.tripod.com/richpoor.html   http://pbulow.tripod.com/tithing.html  I do not do good’s work for price or reward but because I was told to do it solely..

Now (2 Pet 1:19 KJV)  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto  ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,  until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this  first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21   For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of  God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  (1 Cor 14:31 KJV)  For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn,  and all may be comforted.

I agree that a true “prophet” is someone who speaks the words of God to His  people… or to all of the people. . ” And I will be with your mouth and  with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your  spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you  shall be to him as God…So the Lord said to Moses: See, I have made you as  God to Pharoah, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.” (Ex. 4:15;
7:1).

THE EARLY CHURCH VIEW  IN REGARD TO THE PROPHETS AND PROPHECY

Joel 2:28  “…Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…” (1 Cor 14:39  KJV)  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with  tongues. 40 Let all things be done decently and in order. Not everyone who gives a prophecy in the church now is a “Prophet”, now has  been set aside by God to function as a Prophet in the local church..  for  Paul writes, “But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the  first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, and all may be  encouraged” (1 Cor. 14: 30, 31).

” We know that following the day of Pentecost, there was a proliferation of  prophetic activity in the early church. “Your sons and your daughters shall  prophesy…” provides evidence of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit.  Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Apostles Prophets and all prophecies still  must be tested. Paul exhorts, “Do not despise prophecies. Test all things;  hold fast what is good” (1 Thess. 5:20, 21). The Corinthian church is told,  “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge” (1 Cor. 14:29).  John adds, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits,  whether they are of God…every spirit that does not confess that Jesus  Christ has come in the flesh is not of God” (1 John 4:1-3). Two or three prophets should speak at one time, and that one at a time and  everyone can wait their turn to prophesy.  Paul even tells the Corinthian  believers to seek the spiritual gift of prophecy as if it was fairly  commonly available, in the process he contrasts it with the gift of tongues.  (1 Corinthians 14:1-5 NASB) Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual  gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. {2} For one who speaks in a  tongue does not speak to men, but to God; for no one understands, but in his   spirit he speaks mysteries. {3} But one who prophesies speaks to men for  edification and exhortation and consolation. {4} One who speaks in a tongue  edifies himself; but one who prophesies edifies the church. {5}Now I wish  that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy; and  greater is one who prophesies than one who speaks in tongues, unless he  interprets, so that the church may receive edifying.

Abundant Prophecy So  ‘don’t despise prophetic utterances’ and “hold to what  is good, reject what is evil” in regard to NT prophecy. ( 1 Corinthians  14:29, 1 Thessalonians 5:20,21).

The New testament prophets encouraged and exhorted the local congregations, predicted famines and they even tried to keep Apostle Paul in line.

While some of the Old and New Testament prophets were given full awe and respect they all  were also still evaluated.

(1 Corinthians 14:24-25 NASB) But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;  {25} the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face  and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.

The NT prophet too, inspired by God, uncovers the secrets of the unbelievers  heart so that some of them, but not all of them, falls on their face in repentance and worship God.

The role of the prophet is also to edify the church with words of  exhortation and consolation. (1 Corinthians 14:3-4 NASB) But one who  prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.  {4} One who speaks in a tongue edifies himself; but one who prophesies  edifies the church.

In contrast to the personal prayer tongues public prophecy ministers to  people generally. It is other-centered. It builds up the body of Christ which is why Paul valued it so highly. (Acts 15:32-33 NASB) And Judas and  Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the  brethren with a lengthy message. {33} And after they had spent time there,  they were sent away from the brethren in peace to those who had sent them  out.

(1 Timothy 4:14 NASB) Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which  was bestowed upon you through prophetic utterance with the laying on of  hands by the presbytery.
While all can prophecy, Not all who prophesy are still prophets. Many  Christians prophesied but the office of prophet that was next to that of  apostle and was a gifted one and a full-time ministry. Paul also says  bluntly “not all are prophets” ( 1 Cor 12:28-31) but this seems to imply  that the gift of prophecy can be sought by most Christians. (1 Cor 14:1-5)  Phillip the evangelist had four virgin daughters who prophesied but they are  not called prophets. (Acts 21:9) Women prophesied in Corinthians but were  explicitly not to be given authority in the Corinthian church. ( 1  Corinthians 11:3-5, 14:34,35) Women who prophesied in that church were not  given the office of prophet in the church still too.  NT prophecy too was  not infallible but had to be judged by others (1 Cor 14:29) was sometimes a  mixture of good and bad (1 Thess 5:21) and was such that it could even be  despised -(1 Thess 5:20).  NT Prophecy is still also for the building up of  the church not for the personal domination of individual believers by any of the “prophets”. You still do have a choice and have freedom to disregard  even the best prophets as Paul disregarded Agabus and went on to Jerusalem.  (Acts 21:10-14)  NT prophecy  was very much grounded in edifying God’s  people for the immediate task at hand and imparting wisdom and spiritual  gifts.  In the NT God has created His church to be a Spirit-indwelt  community that directly receives revelation from Him (1 Cor 2:9-16, 1 John 2:10,27). The receiving of such revelation and passing it on to the   community is the role of those who prophesy. All such revelation still needs  to be properly discerned and tested.   NT prophecy has more to do with God’s  will in the present moment and glorifying Him in worship. There are very  significant differences between OT prophecy and NT prophecy and we cannot  use the OT model as the normative for the NT phenomena.

Apostle  Paul instructs us all when he says , “Let two or three prophets  speak, and let the others judge.” (1 Cor 14:39 KJV)  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to  speak with tongues.  (1 Cor 14:40 KJV)  Let all things be done decently and in order.
(Eph 6:18 KJV)  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the  Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Jude 1:20 KJV)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your  most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,(1 Cor 13:1 KJV)  Though I speak  with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as  sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
(1 Cor 12:4 KJV)  Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
(1 Cor 12:6 KJV)  And there are diversities of operations, but it is the  same God which worketh all in all.
(Acts 2:42 KJV)  And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and  fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
(Acts 2:43 KJV)  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs  were done by the apostles.
(Acts 4:33 KJV)  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the  resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
(Acts 4:35 KJV)  And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution  was made unto every man according as he had need.
(Acts 5:12 KJV)  And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and  wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in
Solomon’s porch.
PROPHECY IS PERSONALLY PROCLAIMING DIRECTLY GOD’S WORD SPECIFICALLY FOR A  SPECIFIC GROUP.. You do not have to be a Prophet to prophecy, in fact all  believers are encouraged to use the gift of prophecy firstly too. (John  17:21 KJV)  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in  thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou  hast sent me. (1 Cor 14:31 KJV)  For ye may all prophesy one by one, that  all may learn, and all may be comforted. The Christian People who have learned to use faithfully the gifts of  prophecy tend to become God true Prophets. God’s prophets ALSO TOO do work  two ways. Most of the time, they speak forth God’s will in accordance with  Scripture. At certain times, they will EVEN foretell future events.  In real  life, prophecy works like a combination of the Word of Wisdom and Faith. The prophet operates in the Lord’s wisdom, and speaks in faith in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
” Seven Ways to Judge Prophecy
1. By their fruits you shall know them. (Matthew 7:16-18,20)
2. Does it glorify Christ? (John 16:14; I Corinthians 12:3; I John 4:1-2)
3. Does it agree with the Scriptures? (Isaiah 8:20)
4. Are their prophecies fulfilled? (Deuteronomy 18:22) Some prophecies are not of God even though they may come to pass. The benchmark remains that all prophecies should exalt the Lord Jesus.
5. Is the prophecy disjointed or confused? True prophecy is line upon line and precept upon precept. (Isaiah 28:13)
6. Do the prophecies produce liberty in Christ or false bondage to the world, the flesh, the devil , men? (Romans 8:15)
7. All believers have an unction (anointing) within them that tells them when something is wrong. Prophecies should witness with the still small voice of the Holy Spirit in us too if we are rightfully walking with God firstly. (I John 2:20,27)”
Why Is Prophecy Important? or is it rather maintaining  our continual  relationship with Jesus that is more rightfully important still, firstly.
There are at least five reasons why prophecy is so important in the local  church? ( if you do believe that this is a true Biblical interpretation of
the verses. and who says it is?) Too many people still do quote inapplicable  facts , verses even below..
1. It brings life. Prophecy brought life to the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel  37:1-4).
2. It gives spiritual vision? The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the  people perish.’ The Lord gives vision through the prophetic word (Proverbs
29:13,18).
3. It edifies, exhorts, and comforts (I Corinthians 14:3). ( it can rebuke  as well..)
4. It brings revival and restoration? True prophecy brings restoration and revival (Acts 2:16-18). ( but not everyone was revived in the same place too.)
5. It can guide you personally confirm   to your own right position in the Body of  Christ?  Prophecy can also be used by God to direct you where you need to go
(Acts 13:1-3)
(Gal 1:10 KJV)  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please  men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not  after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but  by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
I was still very surprised next when a person even wrote to me to  tell me  even what I could and could not write to them in my email .. for they are dreaming..  even since when do people have a choice as to what message of  God delivered by the prophets they can select or not select too?
I like the scriptures to firstly speak for themselves, on any topic now as  well..

All good, decent people in Canada rather are clearly a threat

All good, decent people in Canada rather are clearly a threat to this Western Canadian Conservatives

Dion a threat to the West Calgary Herald,  Canada –  vain hope that they can turn those feelings into enough votes to dethrone Prime Minister Stephen Harper whenever he gets around to calling an election.
NDP prepares star candidate for Westmount
The Gazette (Montreal), Canada – 10 hours ago
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has until July 26 to set a date for the vote. It is widely expected to be held in September along with a second by-election in

All good, decent people in Canada rather are clearly a threat to the undeniable  too often self centered, greedy, immoral, abusive West meaning Alberta mostly..

I HAD  LIVED IN CALGARY FOR 15 YEARS AND WHEN I SAW FIRSTHAND WHAT ALBERTAN CONSERVATIVES WERE REALLY LIKE I RIGHTFULLY HAD TORN UP MY CONSERVATIVE SUPPORT CARD AND BECAME A LIBERAL RATHER.

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you

Is 51:23 .. your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

Verbal abuses.. Much too common these days

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you
Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

(Prov 21:9 KJV)  It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Bullies, abusers, liars, slanderers tend to be clearly immoral persons who try to enslave others uancceptably even if they profess to be Christian or what ever,,

>>My ex-husband smokes pot and drinks a lot, and I am told, so does his girlfriend. He once told me that I am too righteous because I don’t drink or do drugs, and I attend church.

and that was a verbal abuse if I have ever seen one..

so do thank God daily that he has now removed your from this  abusive relationship..

and do ask Him, God  to take all the tears away and he will.

(Psa 4:8 KJV)  I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

(Rev 21:4 KJV)  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

and there still can be a good life after divorce with God’s help…

Truly any type of abuse is unacceptable and anywhere too

and exposing it loudly in public as well as calling the police is the best way to deal with it for everyone’s benefit, the abuser included.

God himself clearly does not accept verbal, physical, or human rights abuses

(Mat 18:6 KJV) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

(Mat 18:7 KJV) Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

(Mat 18:8 KJV) Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

No we ALL cannot STOP, take the ostrich approach under the guise of love to the definite bad acts of others, we as Christians are still called to be fruit inspectors of those who profess to be Christians ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY RARELY QUOTE IT in actual context OR LIVE THE BIBLE THEY CLAIM THEY BELIEVE IN-

(Gen 31:42 KJV) Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.

(Lev 19:17 KJV) Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

(Neh 5:7 KJV) Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.

(Psa 119:21 KJV) Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

(Prov 24:25 KJV) But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

(Prov 27:5 KJV) Open rebuke is better than secret love.

(Eccl 7:5 KJV) It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

(Mat 17:18 KJV) And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

(Mark 1:25 KJV) And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

(Mark 4:39 KJV) And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

(Mark 8:33 KJV) But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

(1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

(2 Tim 4:2 KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

(Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

(Titus 2:15 KJV) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

(Heb 12:5 KJV) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

“This is from the book by Patricia Evans http://andthenshecried.wordpress.com/2008/02/05/the-verbally-abusive-relationship-how-to-recognize-it-and-how-to-respond

Verbal abuse is a kind of battering which doesn’t leave evidence like physical abuse does. However, it can be just as painful, and recovery can take much longer. The victim of abuse lives in a gradually more confusing realm. In public she is with one man, in private he becomes another. Often, for the verbally abused woman (man), there is no witness to her reality and no one to understand her experiences. Friends and family continue to see her ex, the abuser, as a really good guy and, certainly, he agrees with them. The verbal abuser, while maintaining his charm with others, always takes his abuse behind closed doors. It is a means of holding power over his wife( husband) /partner.. Many women and some men leave a marriage and come back into the singles’ world with the diminished self-esteem that comes from a verbally abusive relationship. The fact that many of these women (men) have never even realized that they were being abused, makes it easy for them to enter another abusive relationship. A verbal abuser is an insecure person and immature person who is looking for power and control over another. In order to help you recognize abuse, remember that all forms of verbal abuse are methods of manipulating you for the purpose of establishing power over you. The following are some of the forms of verbal abuse the author helps you recognize.

  1. Withholding: a purposeful, silent treatment.
  2. Countering: a countering of your ideas, feelings, and perceptions, even going so far as to refute what he misconstrues you to have said.
  3. Discounting–a putdown of you or something you hold dear.
  4. Blocking and diverting–this is a sneaky, covert way of violating your dignity.
  5. Accusation and blame: generally involves lies about the partner’s intentions, attitudes, and motives. The author states that accusation and blame is present in all verbally abusive relationships.
  6. Judging and criticizing: lies about your personal qualities and performance.
  7. Trivializing and undermining: abusive behavior which makes light of your work, your efforts, your interests, or your concerns. The abuser attempts to dilute meaning and value in your life. Undermining might occur when your partner laughs at you, for example, when you burn yourself cooking. It is also jokes at your expense. Undermining is occurring when you feel a “so-called joke” is mean rather than funny.
  8. Name calling: no one has a right to call you degrading names. Name calling is verbal abuse.
  9. Ordering: Telling you to do something, rather than asking, or making decisions for you or for the two of you without your input.
  10. Forgetting and denial: the trickiest form of denial is forgetting. Become aware that forgetting is a form of denial that shifts all responsibility from the abuser to some “weakness of mind.”
  11. Abusive anger: this seems to be closely linked to the need to “blow up,” to dominate, to control, to go one up, and to put down. Any time you are snapped at or yelled at, you are being abused.
Threatening: Physical threats and sexual threats aside, verbal threats are an effort at manipulation. For example, a threat to leave, stay out all night, or take you home immediately is a manipulation for power. The threat of “pending disaster” is designed to shatter the partner’s serenity as well as her boundaries.

If you counter the abuser or attempt to explain yourself, you will probably be met with such statements as, “I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face” or “Woman you don’t have the brains“, “BYou shouldn’t have said that to me“.

If you are in a brand-new relationship and see warning signs of verbal abuse, the author suggests you might be wise to let the relationship go. It is not likely that a man (woman) who needs to dominate and control will change easily, if at all. It is also likely that when the newness of the relationship wears off, he will become more abusive. Verbal abuse can become physical in time and physical abuse is always preceded by verbal abuse, according to Evans. If you are in a long-term relationship, you can respond to the abuser as the book suggests and soon discover for yourself whether or not your mate is willing to change and stop his abusive behavior.

“If you have been verbally abused in your relationship, you may have discovered that explaining and trying to understand have not improved your relationship. Therefore, I recommend that you respond in a new way–a way that will make an emotional, psychological, and intellectual impact upon your mate.”

The abuser in your relationship may change when he finds that you do know when you are being abused, that you have set limits, that you mean what you say, and that you will not take behavior you don’t like.

If the man ( or sadly too often now a women) in your relationship remains abusive, it is not only not your fault,” it is  your responsibility to deal with it, make it public, call the police too.

Any person cannot still fight with you of you leave his or her presences, even forever.. and there is still a good life after a failed marriage now too. I practise what I preach and often now too.

The first spouse, love seems  is always the best one in our false pride.. and I know what that is like too.. WE SEEM ALL TO REPEAT OUR BAD TASTE, VALUES.. When they let a person out a prison they generally have a rule not to let them return to his old environment, past home, for five years.. otherwise they will be under the same old bad habits, dispositions too..

NOTE I lost once everything I had owned.. still next I replaced it all with the same things, even though I never used most of them, old habits and bad tastes DO die hard still too for almost all of us..

Now still reporting publically the abusers, and calling the POLICE TOO most often solves the abuse problem the best.. for if the evil persons do not feel real negative personal consequences, REAL negative public exposures, they really have no reasons to change their bad habits next and likely then never will.

I rightfully too tend to openly expose all abusers, all bad people, all bad churches, all bad politicians, all bad corporations that I come across, and  often and I  also do do call the police, regulating authorities  often and demand they all be fired,   be put in jail too.

I was also still surprised how popular this post now is too.

Discern It

Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,

Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.

“Is the Holy Spirit the focus of your church? Georgian Banov’s Blasphemous Prophecy at Todd Bentley’s “Ordination.”

” In Todd Bentley’s initiation “ordination” ceremony last week one George Banov spoke providing Bentley a ‘prophetic word.’  I must say that initially, at least, he was a welcome relief following the demonic, frenetic, wild head shakin’ thang of Stacey Campbell.  Banov comes in at  6:00 minutes:A quick internet search could not produce much info on Banov; but, he’s obviously of the same heretical Latter Rain ‘stream’ as the others on stage. The reason I wish to call attention to this is the fact that in his ‘word’ Banov uses two Messianic prophetic scriptures and claims God told him these were for Bentley!  Here’s the transcription:  “Todd on behalf of the Eastern European nations and former Communist Countries, we want to tell you that we acknowledge and honor what’s upon you.  And, we give you the keys for Eastern Europe — especially the poor, the rejected, the gypsies. “And The Lord says that because you’ve loved his personal presence there are two anointings that are released on His presence and I just want to release those two anointings on you from the LORD.  By the way, the Lord says ‘you are well pleasing son.’ The Father, Abba, says that to you personally.  The first anointing is the anointing of the pleasure of the LORD.  [emphasis mine] “’Surely He has borne our grief, sickness and weakness and carried our sorrow and the pain and the punishment of us all. He was considered stricken, smitten and afflicted by God; but, He was bruised for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities and chastisement that brought our peace came upon him and by His stripes we were healed and made whole.’  [Isaiah 53:4-6]  And, yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him and in His presence there is fullness of joy and pleasure for evermore. [This is apparently a paraphrase of more than one scripture with another.] And, God’s releasing his pleasure of what He did to Jesus upon you Todd. “And, the second anointing that he wants to release upon you is in Psalm 45 but it’s also in Hebrews chapter one verse nine.  It says, ‘Because you have loved righteousness and you have delighted in integrity and virtue and uprightness in heart and thought and action and you have hated injustice and iniquity; therefore God, your God has anointed you with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond your companions.’  We bless you.” Not only does he quote two Messianic scriptures and applies these to Bentley, he even goes so far as to claim that the Lord referred to Todd as a ‘well pleasing son’ thus putting Bentley on par with Jesus! [Matthew 3:17; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22]  Does this not show this group to be promoting Manifest Sons of God doctrine – part of the heresy of the Latter Rain teachings?  And, no one batted an eyelash on stage or in the audience.   In fact, they clapped and cheered.   I wish to point out that there is only one true ( source of the ) anointing( as opposed to many ??)  – the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon true believers who accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.  24 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.  26I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit — just as it has taught you, remain in him.  [1 John 2:20-27 NIV] To promote that we can attain Christlikeness this side of glory is tantamount to denying Jesus Christ’s exclusive Divinity as the One and only Son of God.  As the Apostle John points out above, this is the spirit of antichrist. submitted by Lee  “

Nice to note the reference to the poor too but I undeniably, for sure have received many different anointings in my life for various specific services from the Holy spirit by the laying on of hands now too,

“Lee, “in your opinion, Bentley’s fails”? Do you not value others opinions? Do you believe you can be wrong on this? This is what I meant when I referred to a wrong interpretation of scripture.”

“How do you handle it when other Christians disagree with you?  Lee “

“And, remember, always share humbly that you may be wrong. Your interpretation of the matter may be wrong. You respect their position, even if it’s contrary to your human interpretation of a non-absolute of scripture. Don’t butcher them publicly and them him hurt and attacked. Rather, pray for them, speak well of them, love them and lift them up. Beyond that, it’s not your battle to fight. “

And thenonconformer next said.. It is very clear that the much too many false Critics of the Pentecostals will try to grasp at any straws to falsely bash the Pentecostal and still try to justify their immoral acts..

Any Christian being plagued with critics, opponents, unsubstantiated personal attacks too now, is really nothing new even to the past apostles, prophets , Jesus Christ himself who have face many similar bullies, groups etc., the devil is too ready an accuser of the Brethren, and tries to continually discredit any work of God even since the time of Jesus Christ himself now too even using inapplicable and distorted Biblical reasons and Bible verses now too
I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings any of of the latter rain churches..

A MAJORITY OF THE CRITICS OF THE LATTER DAY REVIVALS, are too clearly their often diverting back wrongfully the topic discussions, making often personal insulting, unacceptable derogatory remarks is even THEIR typical unChristlike bulling Reponses, self righteous, a superiority attitude, and what else? is not the right approach from anyone and it does continue to reflect poorly on ALL OF THEM STILL too…

“To the non conformer- Got any examples there or are you just ranting? For the record, I believe in Charismatic gifts and vehemently oppose these latter rain revivals. You’ve simply dismissed any opposition to this heresy as unloving and unkind by using blanket statements like: “I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly…” “and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings any of of the latter rain churches…”  “…making often personal insulting, unacceptable derogatory remarks is even THEIR typical unChristlike bulling Reponses, self righteous, a superiority attitude…””

In reply now thenonconformer said  I have read in the last month every wordpress site, and many others sites openly bashing, abusing, slandering the Florida revival, Todd, the latter day Pentecostals and yet to date I personally have not read, seen one valid criticism, decent presentation at all.. what a great shocker.. It all seems more like little immature, jealous kids still fighting over which one of them will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and who will be last.. what a real absurdity. Don’t get desperate but get real… like I have rightfully said I also would not take any criticism even seriously by persons who admittedly even admit they are opposed to all charismatic’s gifts, speaking in tongues included, and the persons who do not acknowledge even themselves now having never received a clear, specific baptism of the Holy Spirit firstly, and also especially when also they themselves have not attended these meetings, or the meetings of any of the latter rain churches.. The Latter Rain movement was rejected by the AoG Pentecostals in 1948 as heretical… and they are speaking for God now.. dream on.. There are other pentacostal denominations who support them, approve of them, me included. The full Gospel Business Men’s fellowship uses a similar approach for decades now too. many persons bashing other Pentecostals with clearly a hidden agenda is still the wrong thing to do now too.. they are not doing it in love or humility Cleary as required by the Bible now too.  http://pbulow.tripod.com/ http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST http://postedat.wordpress.com/

You ask “are you ranting”… my how you like to bash, insult people.. you do not know to even try to judge them, quite immature and unspiritual too.. looking for a big fight cause someone had stepped on your sore toes.. Need more input from me on the subjects.. I have it detailed even on 5 internet sites.. including http://postedat.wordpress.com http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/

You say  ” Todd Bentley is a savage wolf in sheep’s clothing and a false apostle, who is being led by a counterfeit “Jesus” and “spirit”” , Bud  “

Thenonconformer, “my how you like to bash, insult people..” “…looking for a big fight cause someone had stepped on your sore toes.. I certainly hope you do not profess wrongfully to be a Christian to anyone…” Tell me what is even scriptural right about this one sided, bullying, bashing, lying, a argumentative, ungodly, unchristlike posts clearly not done in love too.. hope you still do not profess to be a Christian, cause you give a really bad image to the real Christians.

>>What am I missing out on by not falling into line with the latter rain heresy? Salvation? “The next wave?” Becoming a “manifest Son of God” (i.e. Jesus)? Why should I conform as you have (contrary to your name) to this heretical doctrine?
and you lie and distort often what I have said still too.. I never asked you to fall in line, I had asked you to act like real Christians, and show real love, not mostly hatred rather..   Like i have said When you talk about what the scriptures says you honestly should also point out that you mean it is how you now interpret what the scripture says.. cause too many of us read different things out of the same scriptures as we all do know firstly..

Why is it so many people (control freaks)  try too limit the power of God, and they work so hard to try to tell us what God can and cannot do today.. for sure, definitely it is not only cause they are spiritually immature, have a hidden agenda, are promoting themselves, or they are unoriginal parrots who repeat what others have said , but it is often still mainly because Satan for sure is behind all this too.

Is 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God besides Me. I will gird {and} arm you, though you have not known Me,(Jer 32:27 KJV) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Aside from that fact many do not know, read , they do not understand the scriptures, the Bible in reality but merely mouth what they think or what others have said instead..

Latter rain is a term referring to the new outpouring of the Holy Spirit on today’s Pentecostals. The events of Pentecost are known as the former rain.
The idea of latter rain comes from this Old Testament text, which precedes Joel’s prophecy that God will pour out his Spirit on all people:
Be glad, O people of Zion,
rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given you
the autumn rains in righteousness.
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before.
Joel 2:23
The early Pentecostals connect their own experience of the Spirit with that of the disciples, and Peter’s quoting of Joel’s prophecy in Acts 2: 16-21 is a further prophecy that God would pour out his Spirit again at a later time.
They tend to state that the pouring out of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost as the early autumn rain, and the second pouring out of the Spirit, that they were experiencing, as the later spring rains; the Latter Rain.
The idea of latter rain is found throughout many denominations of Pentecostalism, but specifically the Latter Rain Movement, founded in 1948, teaches that the second coming of Jesus is due to happen soon and that latter rain is evidence for this.

I have read in the last month every wordpress site, and many others sites openly bashing, abusing, slandering the Florida revival, Todd, the latter day Pentecostals and yet to date I personally have not read, seen one valid criticism, decent presentation at all.. what a great shocker.. Some people would say I too have never seen alcohol do one good thing for anyone rather mostly a lot of evil.. . and do look at things associated with alcohol…bars, strip clubs, drunks, DUI’s, addiction and the like. Tell me who your friends are and I can always tell what you are like too. These are not activities a true Christian should participate in. Therefore, it is better to SHUN even an appearance of evil. And yes Christians are commanded that our bodies are not to be mastered by anything…our bodies are the temple of God. We are always to be in self control. not rather selfish oriented. Also, the wine Jesus and the apostle used, wine was likely not fermented in biblical times as it is today, it was rather grape juice, and was unlikely to cause drunkenness as easily. Falsely for too many professing Christians Smoking, Homosexuality is okay, drinking alcohol is okay, using profanity is okay, tax evasion is OK, Cheating, lying, stealing is OK.. Get a real life. Get Jesus It does sounds like many always rejected the truth of the Bible, Jesus and have finally found a denomination that supports their sin. The Gospel according to them. Lucky them? Not at all. They also tend to show the mental sloppiness, dishonesty common to the liberals, bashers of Pentecostals and fundamentalists, not those elf real Christians for sure.

A preacher had recently written to me and said to me that we all should get more of the Word into us, meaning the Bible, but what we all do need is more of the Holy Spirit, starting with His fruit of love, for I also now could not help but notice how unkind, proud, arrogant this preacher still was himself.. too many preachers now know the Word but they seem too easily forget to also live it themselves firstly, and I rightfully would rather see a sermon practiced, then merely hear it lip service preached too. Much too easier to preach it to others, harder to live it oneself..

(Neh 8:10 KJV) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength

” I see there is some objection to calling Latter Rain a heresy, as well as Banov’s comments to Bentley. In particular, here is one comment I’d like to address: “It is very clear that the much too many false Critics of the pentecostals will try to grasp at any straws to falsely bash the pentecostal and still try to justify their immoral acts..”

I would like to point out that it was the Assembly of God, a pentecostal denomination, who believes in the practice of all the spiritual gifts, who officially declared that Latter Rain was heretical.”

“I doubt your comment above about the AoG declaring Latter Rain a heresy will have much affect. Someone else further up the thread already pointed that out and basically that fact was laughed at as inconsequential.”

“Is it not possible that Todd loves righteousness and has delighted in integrity? “

“The problem with these comments comes down to arrogance, in all humility when you guys bash “Fuller” that tells me you are coming at this from with far more “pride” than you are compassion. If a brother is in error go to them, have you written Todd Bentley a certified letter? Do you have compassion?”

“Lee unfortunately all your responses are based on “your” interpretation of Scripture. Your foundation is not Scripture, but yourself and how you interpret it.
There is no truth to the accusations you are making against Todd Bentley. I pray that your eyes would be opened to all you are missing in the Holy Spirit.

Am I saying everything Todd Bentley does or has ever done is correct? No, I have not seen everything, what I have seen has been done with integrity, with the power of God, with humility and with a focus on Jesus Christ and Him being worshipped. Also unless you have any experience with healing, miracles, prophecy, resurrections, encounters with God, etc you have no right to make a judgement. You have no experience with which to even judge or speak to others about. Until you are doing the works of Jesus your interpretation of Scripture is worth little. Your Kingdom of God is based your talk, the one in the Bible is based on power. I pray your eyes would be opened to the more that God has for you!”

thenonconformer said.. If you don’t answer questions, whatever. It is cause what I have posted is very clear and undeniable too already and because I am not foolish to play your fighting game, get a real life and act like a real christian.. and here is what I have posted about the OAG

The Assemblies of God Pentecostal supporters, members are noted for their opposition to the Florida Lakeland revival, and to the Latter day movement.. and I rightfully as I do dislike their too often abusive unchristian like posts too.. but why the opposition? Jealous? How wordly, ungoldy? It supposedly competes with their own revival?
“I have just returned from Buffalo and am now home in Pensacola. What awesome services on Sunday! Pastor Tommy Reid said to his congregation, “There are moments when God moves in a church and today is one of them!” I am always humbled when the Lord moves. From the first service at 8 am to the last service at 11:30 God moved in all three. The first service, which is mainly seniors, had a wonderful sense of God’s power! As I prayed for the saints of the church, each one fell under the power of God! How humbling! When the second service crowd started to move into the sanctuary they saw their beloved seniors prostrate out on the floor! That’s enough to build anyone’s faith. I had the privilege of praying for probably another two to three hundred people. The second service rolled right into the third service which is primarily a multi cultural service. God was faithful and moved again touching lives at the altar! http://www.brownsville-revival.org/

and like many other Pentecostals, Alliance, Baptist, Evangelical Churches they falsely do not include helping poor people in their own churches as an essential Christian doctrine now too? why?

(Rom 15:26 KJV) For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. (2 Cor 9:9 KJV) (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (Gal 2:10 KJV) Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do. (James 2:5 KJV) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?  (James 2:6 KJV) But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

“I just quickly read your most recent post; and, I’m not sure why you insist on bringing in things totally unrelated to the post. You have no idea if anyone who posts here does or does not give to the poor in our own churches. I don’t even wish to field a response to it. Please refrain from these excursions in the future or your entire post will be deleted.”

thenonconformer replied  Actually I said their church doctrines do not include  giving to the poor and why was that ? you yourself had referred to the poor people in your starting address..

thenonconformer replied  I HAVE RIGHTFULLY BECOME SUSPICIOUS OF WHAT I HEAR, READ, AND TEST IT RIGHTFULLY TOO.. and I do even look for their too often, false hidden agendas as well.. Now some persons not help but notice that bashing of the mostly white man’s Latter Day Pentecostal revival, denomination by the Mostly Black AOG Pentecostal movement? is this what it is really all about now here too? But also I have never said that the Latter Day Pentecostal revival leaders were saints, in fact I have often said the opposite and for specific valid reasons. But I see no valid Proof still that Todd Bentley is totally wrong..

I was in a super great Church once, ( a latter day denomination- The Calgary Christian Centre) even though the Pastors were stealing, abusing the funds, committing adultery, counseling divorce, gossiping, slandering, lying, and so forth. The Holy Spirit due to the prayers of some of the faithful persons there was really moving in their services, and many people were getting saved, healed and delivered, and the praise and worship services were really great. God specifically had told me to go to this church as well, but he had put a condition on it, he said do not talk with, communicate, fellowship with any of the pastors. I had done some great personal counseling in that Church as well.. met some great and also bad people.

But eventually one day next came when I had to talk to the same pastors, and even to tell them that God was going to get rid of them, to next deal with them negatively and God did! God next broke down this large Calgary church because it had grown big in size and had become perverse. All of the pastors were next removed from it as well.

Micah 3:6 KJV) Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. 7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God. 8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

I had good reasons supposedly for not Pastoring once, one of which was there now supposedly were plenty of other good Pastors, much better Pastors than me around.. and both arguments were lies as God himself next showed me firsthand when I interviewed about 45 evangelical pastors.. even about their marital counselling practises… which is almost none! This is also really surprising when about 70 percent of all people even in the churches tend to have major marital problems sooner or later.. Pretender, liar and that is so typical of evangelical pastors in Canada, elders, and pastors of the false Christian Missionary Alliance church now too. I wrote about this false church before too. No wonder most of the evangelical pastors as well do commit adultery, or steal, commit tax evasions, gossip, slander, abuse others and falsely counsel divorce now too. In reality 70 percent of all of the the pastors are still really bad, still doing a real bad job.. for firstly they tend not to use the Bible at all in their own personal counseling practices but rather they tend to do use an immoral, humanistic, psychological approach, or they simple say get divorced and wrongfully too. Their actual daily usage of the Bible, not books really can show you how good or bad pastors they still are, and never mind what useless Bible college or commentary also that they graduated from still.

Many persons go to church expecting personally to be helped by the pastor and they do next walk away disappointed. Their first normal mistake was having any personal expectations of any help from the Pastors, even though this may be an honest expectation, for our help is in the Lord and all our expectations should come only of Him.

Try to go to church expecting only to see Jesus Christ, to get any desired help from Jesus only, and not any man, or women, and expect nothing else, have no expectation of any good from the pastors, elders and you certainly will next not be disappointed.
Because of my poor health I have had to retire from a physicaly active Ministry and next many people could not understand how I could be by myself alone, for such long periods of time, and for me it is very easy for I have Jesus to go directly to talk with, I do prefer his company above all others rightfully too. Learn to talk to Him directly about your concerns, not firstly the Pastors!!

(Luke 9:36 KJV) And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen. (John 8:9 KJV) And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst

Secondly the majority of these pastors they do not provide at all any real counselling help to their own flock in need even in their own churches, and especially not related to marital, employment problems also even in Evangelical, Pentecostal churches. This approach of their is not really pastoring.. this is stealing money from the sheep! Sadly most pastors seem to want to only to preach, to talk big and to be praised for it, to be recognized, and admired by the others, for they tend to have a false, big ego that they want filled, but they still wrongfully not want to do also the real work, the dirty work at the sheep’s level.. Yes these same pastoral hypocrites also do falsely tend to lie, slander others , gossip and also to delegate blame on one of the spouses even in a martial problem situation, even with invalid still reasons, basically for them not to personally get involved. The pastor would say something like the husband or the wife was at fault.. so the pastor is still talking only about the negative symptoms of a real marital problem, and what is he real or false solution rather.. pass the buck wrongfully still to the others? Unacceptable and I would rightfully not give any of my money at all to this type of Pastor or his Church!

Pastoral marriage counselling it is also still mandatory for all Pastors, all of them too, it is mandatory still that they do also help each and every sheep in their flock, and do home visits as well.. and these two also are not optional.. but sadly majority of Pastors they really still do not have love for the sheep.. and doing the dirtier jobs they wrongfully run away for it.. and God himself told me that this was all was immorally acts on the part of both of these pastors.. I never run away from any hard counselling.. for I got God to help me.. Do thus tell the pastor that up to 70 percent of the people have marriage problems, it is always the biggest pastoral need too.. and if he does not do this work than he is really not a real pastor.. just another hireling, or a wolf in sheep clothing.. You do clearly also have my permission to send these remarks to them as well! I have already personally fired about 25 pastors in my life time.. and I do not hesitate to publicly expose them, rebuke them rightfully remove them from office still.. any of the bad ones..

(Prov 27:5 KJV) Open rebuke is better than secret love. (Luke 17:3 KJV) Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. (Phil 2:15 KJV) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; (1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. (2 Tim 4:2 KJV) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. (Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; (Titus 2:15 KJV) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. (Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Better to be rebuked by me than God next directly, for God then will not be so forgiving.. (Psa 18:39 KJV) For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me 40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. 41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. 42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. (Psa 18:44 KJV) As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. 45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. (Psa 18:46 KJV) The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. 47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. 48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. (Psa 18:49 KJV) Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. 50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

The trouble with anyone lying is that soon one will likely end up believing in one’s own lies and one tends to live out the lies next, to act upon their false delusions. This applies to people who lie to the courts, to politicians who lie to the citizens as well.. to Pastors who lie to their congregations.. Now I have personally seen this happen many times .. For example a pastor was personally asked to repent of his own immorality. His own family asked him if the charges were true. The pastor replied you cannot believe anything the persons says he is crazy.. Soon the pastor’s family started to worry about this supposedly crazy person. To keep up the pretense the pastor even bought next a bullet proof car for protection for himself. This increased the stress upon his own family.. They lived out the pastor’s lie.. This was a punishment for the lies now as well. This same truth applies to ANYONE, Minister, lawyers, spouses who lie to us or the courts too. In the end the pastor still lost his church anyway, because he next was still exposed for his wrong doings, cause you cannot lie to everyone.. some people saw the truth.. and did something good about it too.. they let the Pastor go.

(James 4:17 KJV) Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

thenonconformer  also said My same posts are posted on many sites too.. deleting them will do nothing.. but show to all how free speech is falsely denied by false excuses again

Verbal abuse is always unacceptable too. So are the Bullies now too.

Verbal abuse is always unacceptable too. So are the Bullies now    Even for Christians! verbal abuse by pastorS NOW ESPECIALLY TOO.

  13. If you counter the abuser or attempt to explain yourself, you will probably be met with such statements as, “I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face” or “Woman you don’t have the brains“, “BYou shouldn’t have said that to me“.

f you are in a brand-new relationship and see warning signs of verbal abuse, the author suggests you might be wise to let the relationship go.

If the man ( or sadly too often now a women) in your relationship remains abusive, it is not only not your fault,” but it is  your responsibility to deal with it, make it public, call the police too.

Any person cannot still fight with you of you leave his or her presences, even forever.. and there is still a good life after a failed marriage now too. I practise what I preach and often now too.

Hey if you read my many non conforming posts you will note that I definitely, and loudly, rightfully still  do not conform to the false or immoral demands of others..

I was really now fortunate I had great teachers here in Canada, in my public school, in high School and in University in Montreal Quebec, and all of them now   had treated me as a real person, respected me, and allowed me to speak. and to be heard as well.

Not one of them no one told me what I can talk about write about or what I cannot as well. At work as a Professional Engineer, or as a Professional Realtor with Re/Max I was allowed continually as a responsible, a mature adult to make my own decisions,  and top also carry out my responsibilities in the manner   I chose to do them as well.

So I have to admit it came to me as a shock firstly when I started to attend evangelical, Baptist Pentecostal churches in Canada now as an adult that that same right  to be respect, top speak, and to be heard, not to be bullied, falsely oppressed. Legal and Human rights that  I had before, often now did not exist in the churches surprisingly now of all places. Never saw so many control freaks, human rights abusers  in my whole life next to the too often bad cops now too.  And perversely many a despotic, crooked elder, pastor had wrongfully tried to shut me up, and even next had resorted next to slander me, to try to discredit me and what I had said,  or whatever,  now even both in Quebec and in Alberta.

But like I have often said elsewhere the Evangelical church was not the only place where they tried to deny me my right to speak and to be heard now, for too often too and unacceptable the Alberta bullies, rednecks now  on the net had wrongfully tried often and falsely to suppress my right of free speech, but next so did not too many a Politician, particularly,  ironically again both the professing Christian ones, and the definitely alcoholic ones now too.. what they were falsely deluded that only politicians had the right of free speech and the right to be heard it seems too .

Next too many bad police officers as well did not like me openly, publically complaining about the too often bad cops, bad RCMP had encountered in Alberta, Quebec, and not just the too many bad pastors, elders too, and in other provinces as well.. and what these bad  cops, bad watchdogs,  forget they are here to serve the good welfare of the citizens? for  they are not our despotic slave drivers.. nor are their bosses for that matter now too.

Now what bothered them all now so much that they had tried to shut me up? my transparency, honesty, or it seems the mere exercise of  case of my rights . For in reality it seems at least 10 percent of the persons even on the net seem to be control freaks, bullies, human rights abusers.

I often read complaints on the net from  some child complaining  that that one of their parents is verbally abusing them, or even a spouse complain that  their spouse is abusing them.  I have heard people tell me how pastors had abused them as well. Children and spouses sometimes are forced to put up with it?? But not me, for I am not a child, rather a matured adult, a retired senior in fact. And I can clearly, rightfully speak for myself and talk on any topic now as I so desire as well as we all can readily see and I do so now too. And for the good of us all now too.

Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.
